My boyfriend and I buy Tom's of Maine Whole Care toothpaste. We were having the same issue of finding a cruelty free toothpaste with fluoride and this one works well :)
Tom's actually makes an antiperspirant that works great! It's so hard to find an actual antiperspirant that's vegan and CF. Schmidt's, etc. are all deodorants, not antiperspirant. Just depends what you're looking for. Keep in mind this has aluminum since it's an antiperspirant. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TGZNC1O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
I looked on their just to be sure (since it is pretty sketch), and I think that's just an old non-vegan version. The sites listed ingredients for the hand soap version don't have the hydrolyzed milk protein and instead have hydrolyzed rice protein. If you look at the amazon listing of the same hand soap it used to contain the milk protein. It seems like they're just phasing out the old stock.
So I was wrong in the fact that it's not a coconut milk protein (I thought they were always vegan, oops). The site says they're 100% vegetarian/vegan now, though. The other 2% doesn't refer to animal products.
edit: fixed a broken link
I am not sure if you have Badgers brand in Australia but it's on Amazon. They have a cleansing facial oil. It removes makeup as you massage it into your skin. I love it, just follow the instructions. They have unscented, rose, and argan.
Badger Balm -Unscented Cleansing Oil 2oz- Certified Organic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O2BSYAQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_eDcRzb0EEC139
Do you use a toner? An extremely popular vegan, cruelty-free, soy-free and alcohol-free toner is Thayer’s Witch-Hazel Rose Toner.
I use this stuff everyday... it’s amazing and gentle. It has a PH of 5.5-6. You can use this after cleansing and before creams/serums. Target sells this toner with the spray nozzle which is also nice as a mid-day refresher or make-up primer. You can find the travel-sized toners on Amazon as well.
I also second trying Pacifica. My faves: seafoam cleanser, kale micellar water, coconut body butter, passionfruit/guava perfume! But seriously, everything is amazing!
Seconding Manic Panic. My friends and I use the Amplified version. Easy to use, cheap, amd works really well. Amazon link for Manic Panic Flash Lightning Hair Bleach Kit 40 Volume
I don't have curly hair, but these definitely prevent bed head for my fine straight hair.
I use Timeless' 20% Vitamin C, I've been using it for years and I love it.
I also use Mad Hippie's Vitamin A serum as my "retinol." I really like all their products. I have sensitive skin and their stuff is really non-irritating.
https://www.amazon.com/Live-Clean-Coconut-Moisturizing-Lotion/dp/B01B7EXB80
There's the product on Amazon with a pic of the back you can zoom in on for the ingredients. Thing is, there's two backside pics, one of which lists hydrolyzed milk protein in the ingredients...
It's not for everyone, but I became a huge believer once I tried some good ol' pit paste. You spread a pea-sized amount on your underarms with your fingers or a little wooden stick. It's the only natural stuff I've found that really, truly works to block stink. But there's no aluminum or other harsh chemicals, so do note that it's not an antiperspirant.
I used this one by Kaiame Naturals for a while. They claim to be CF and vegan, but now that I'm looking again, it's tough to verify the legitimacy of that.
Recently I tried PiperWai, and it's equally as great. The only difference I noticed was the scent. And they're Leaping Bunny certified, with Certified Vegan ingredients. You can get it online, at Whole Foods, etc.
Plus they're both in glass jars, so less plastic, yay.
I've been using this sunscreen for the past week or so after it was recommended on here, and so far I've been liking it! Note: despite the title of the listing saying SPF 50, it is indeed SPF 30. I bought this one after spending way too long trying to find the perfect sunscreen and I'm pretty happy with my decision. It's relatively inexpensive for two bottles and can be used on either the face or body. I didn't want to fuss with two different types of sunscreen so I'm glad this one is able to cover both.
As a fellow tan person, it does leave an initial whitecast but it goes away well within the 15 minutes of waiting before you should be getting sun exposure. It smells a bit like watered down paint or maybe just very earthy, but other than that it doesn't have any fragrances that try to mask the sunscreen smell (or lack of one actually) and it goes away very quickly and does not linger. It feels tacky at first but settles down rather quickly as well and as someone who is also acne-prone and can get oily throughout the day, it's surprisingly left my face pretty matte with no break outs or irritation. It makes my skin feel smooth and doesn't leave any shine. Though that can also be a double edged sword because it tends to cling to any hair you might have on your face (eyebrows, mustache, hairline) and can leave it with a white tint/mascara effect. Just be sure to either avoid those areas a bit or rub it in well. Pretty much all of the "bad" of this sunscreen goes away within the first 5-15 minutes so if you're okay with that, you might want to see about picking it up!
I've tried dish soap, shaving cream and a few different masks with wires but the only thing that has worked for me is this anti fog cloth. Not perfect but I went from not wearing glasses at work because of the fog to being able to wear them. https://www.amazon.ca/Anti-Fog-Eyeglasses-Cleaning-Tablets-Screens/dp/B088K8QKVQ/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2PQPX2Q84GIF0&dchild=1&keywords=anti+fog&qid=1612898507&sprefix=anti+fog%2Caps%2C245&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFYRUtBQ1VTUUVHTEImZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA4NDE5ODczVFRXNDdJQkQxSFRLJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA5ODU5NjMxUVIzT0I5V0M5RzMmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
I only JUST found a vegan lip balm a couple weeks ago that actually works so I feel you — the Dr. Pawpaw Multi-Purpose Balm (Amazon Smile link). So, so many letdowns prior to this, including ones recommended on this sub, to the point I was seriously starting to think an effective vegan lip balm didn’t exist.
The main ingredient is petroleum jelly, which is the best occlusive there is, but the formulation also includes some emollient ingredients so I hope it works for you too!
Full list of ingredients to save everyone a search: Petrolatum, Aloe Barbadenis Leaf Juice, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Carica Papaya (Fermented PAWPAW)
This mineral mascara from amazon is pretty decent. I'd read reviews first and see if it's what you're looking for, but it works for me https://www.amazon.com/Mineral-Mascara-EVXO-Natural-Ingredients/dp/B01KIQEMJU/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1506451959&sr=8-2&keywords=evxo
I have a pair of Arcopedico L19 and I LOVE them. They are cute and very comfortable and I can stand and walk around all day in them. Amazon Link Zappos Link
I found it on Amazon. I think. Is it the Dr. Pawpaw Multi-Purpose Balm? They also have an "Ultimate Red" version but I'm not sure what the difference is. Are these the correct products?
I also love bakuchiol. I can't use retinoids with my sensitive, rosacea's skin. It immediatly flares into a ugly bumpy rash. I've been using this handmade bakuchiol serum that I get on Amazon. It's totally helping with my freckles and I use it as a moisturizer too. I put it on in the morning before I do my hair and let it soak in. Then when I'm ready to put on my makeup if theres anything left on my skin that hasn't soaked in I just rub the rest in or wipe any excess off. I put on my purito green sunscreen and I'm ready to put on my makeup. Anyways it's really good stuff.
For your face: 5%-10% Urea Cream
For your body and feet: 20%-40% UREA CREAM
Grocerism 40% urea cream + 2% Salicylic Acid. WORKS! Not greasy and keeps feet feeling smooth. Depending on the nature of your foot skin (callus, dryness, cracks, etc...), it make take up to week of buffing and moisturizing 2x a day to feel and see results of this Urea cream, it does work with a little patience."
I have really dry, flakey, itchy scalp problems. The Jason Brand of shampoo has been so helpful for me I am very happy with it and would recommend it.
Keracolor sounds like it might fit the bill. They have two dark brown shades. This stuff is great because it not only colors your hair but adds protein to give it shine. Also, unlike a lot of non-permanent hair colors that wind up looking flat, they sort of specialize in creating colors that have dimension and undertone, similar to what you would expect from permanent color. Finally, you can control the depth because it gets deeper with each wash. If it starts to look too dark you just use regular shampoo for a while until it lightens up. This stuff is sort of my holy grail.
Here's the Amazon link.
I'm sorry, I know this is a super old post, but if you're like me, I'm always on the hunt for quality vegan products.
I've found two good vegan foot creams. I have dry skin and very dry feet that get callused and cracked if I ignore them. I apply the lotion after a hot shower and then put socks in to "seal in" the moisture and help it penetrate the skin.
The first on I've used for years: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00II53AWO
Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Balm is pretty thick and has a strong, pleasant, minty scent from the tea tree oil. Makes my feet super silky smooth and actually helps me fall asleep to rub my feet and legs together after leaving this lotion on. I love this stuff!
The second is new for me: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WS1QBC
Shikai - Borage Therapy Dry Skin Foot Cream I just put it on for the first time an hour ago. I can't remember why I got it, maybe it was cheaper or the other one was out of stock. I already love their vegan hand lotion so I figured the foot cream will be good too.
It's thinner than the first lotion, and spreads just a bit easier. Not much scent (which is fine), and my feet seem to be tingling a bit. I can come back and update this post tomorrow. So far so good.
I'm not sure how big of a round brush you are looking for, but I purchased this faux boar bristle round brush from EcoTools on Amazon a few months ago, and I love it. https://smile.amazon.com/Ecotools-Aluminum-Hairbrush-Medium-Long-Technology/dp/B01A58JSFY?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1
Mine was from a Marshall's, the brand is virtually nonexistent so you will probably be able to find better, but here it is on Amazon.ca.
Yeah! GIOVANNI 2chic Ultra Moist Dual Action Protective Leave-In Spray, 4 oz. Avocado & Olive Oil, Protects from Heat Styling Breakage, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Paraben Free, Color Safe (Pack of 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009V0Z87A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_PJ9Y62FE8ZS5GPFN7W69
I've used the Thermafuse Fixxe Volume Mousse for volume and slight texture for years. My hair is much shorter now, though, so I'm going to try their Tac Taffy Styling Cream soon in addition to the mousse. They have several other texture products available too.
They're a cruelty-free salon brand, but you can find their products easily without a license and they're affordable for the amount you get. The Fixxe does have human hair protein in it towards the bottom of the ingredients list if that's something that concerns you and you should definitely double check the ingredients lists for their other products.
I ordered this one from Isntree but haven't received it yet. Seems to tick most of your boxes.
This is my absolute favorite! I’ve been using it for years and I’ll never go back to traditional dyes. Beware though, it never fades, I only ever dye my roots because the length never needs retouching. So it’s great as long as you want to keep it that color for a long time!
I have Sombra that I bought off Amazon - is this what you're talking about? Or is there a different kind? - https://smile.amazon.com/Sombra-Therapy-Natural-Relieving-8-Ounce/dp/B000WZOJCI/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=sombra&qid=1609702185&sr=8-5
I friggin' love Sombra. Someone gave it to me when I threw my back out a few years ago, and it really helped!
Dr. Jacobs Naturals Pure Castile Liquid Soap - Natural Face and Body Wash, 32 oz. - Free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetics and Gluten - Non-GMO - Naturally Soft and Soothing Safe For All Skin Types (Shea Butter) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HHRRDTO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_2Ir7FbR822AZ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Not sure where you live, but I use a cream deodorant from “Greendoor” which is a cruelty free brand from Germany. I ordered it on Amazon after seeing a lot of good reviews. Works like an absolute charm, 12+ hours and leaves no stains.
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00XZ7SQXS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ouVxCbA7C1VR3
Vanicream is CF & vegan, super gentle. I love their cleanser, lite lotion and regular lotion for those super dry days. Similar price point to cetaphil. I highly recommend!
I highly doubt that Solimo is CF. It just does not align with Amazon's stance at all; Amazon is all about doing things as cheap as possible with as much profit as possible. Plus... they don't even care about the safety/wellbeing of their employees, so I highly doubt they care about animals. Until a reliable 3rd party confirms it, I wouldn't trust what they claim.

Vegan and CF coal tar shampoo doesn't seem to exist. I've searched high and low. :( The closest thing I could find is Heritage Store - Pine Tar Shampoo, which focuses more on healthy scalps than dandruff removal.

There are other options for dandruff shampoo such as Jāsön - Dandruff Relief, which contains salicylic acid and sulfur. Or options from Derma E, Avalon, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree (cult classic).

It's just one of the few products where we have very limited choices as vegan. It's really frustrating. Dandruff can actually be caused by a fungus on your scalp (most common) or dryness. If it's fungus then most of these milder options won't work. In the case of it being chronic or fungus related I would treat it like I would any medical issue and use the products I need even if that means they may not be cruelty free or vegan.
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Face Cleanser, Cucumber & Watercress (from Amazon UK £12.92)
This is my favourite cleanser by far. I very highly recommend this cleanser. I have the exact same skin type as you: sensitive dry/combination, prone to occasional pimples. I have found that this cleanser leaves my face feeling extremely clean but not stripped. Having tried multiple cleansers both Western and Korean (including La Roche Posay, Cerave and the COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser) this is the cleanser I return to as my skin care staple. As always patch test before using. I have been using this cleanser for 2 years now in conjunction with Olay moisturising lotion (for face), Murad Rapid Relief Spot Treatment (for spots), Cerave Moisturing Body Lotion (for body), La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light sunscreen and Lansinoh HPA lanolin for lips. I use acure and Calia for shampoo and conditioner.
Ingredient list for Nourish Organic Face Cleanser:
This cleanser also passed SkinCare Ox's organic test.

Yeah it was weird. I don't think I have sensitive skin but I think when my face gets sweaty it beads down and gets in my eyes. Their other sunscreen is this one (Amazon link) but not completely sure if it is vegan 😬 now that I think about it because it doesn't say on the packaging :(
Eco Tools has a great brush cleaner, I was stunned when I switched from gentle hand soap to this.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BSB56OY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_et0GFb08WE4WR
I put some in a small tupperware container, then dip the brush in, swirl in my hand or a brush cleaning mat, and rinse. I don't put the extra back in the bottle, so I use small amounts and add to my tupperware container as needed - start small, a little goes a long way.
Gaya Cosmetics Vegan Mascara works best for me, my sister recommended it as the best mascara she ever found and she is not vegan.
I switched from this exact cleanser ditectly to Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean face wash. No negative effects whatsoever, no adjustment period or anything. I don't use anything else. I used CeraVe exclusively for years until I went vegan.
Second Light Mountain henna. They have colors like reds, browns, and blacks. I can say that as someone with very very dark brown (almost black) hair their black henna actually made my hair black and you can actually see the contrast (however small) because I only used it in the bottom half of my hair. Here's a link to the black henna
I have seb derm too! 😩 It’s soooo finicky and hard to understand. I totally get your struggles! I only plop for like an hour and then allow it to air dry. I definitely don’t have that issue with water so that’s probably super annoying.
After I plop I use a huge clip and use it around my crown to help lift it but you could probably use multiple?

Just an idea but not sure if that will work. Good luck, friend.
I agree that Lush USED to be good, but now they have gone the route of using sulfates to cut costs. Worse than anything I've used too! The one shampoo bar that actually works for me is the ACV bar by Wildland. I get it on Amazon, think it's around 16 bucks.
The Dr. Pawpaw balm is pretty close to Vaseline in both gentleness and effectiveness for me. It saved my lips from chapping this past winter and now is saving my knuckles from being super dry and raw from all of the hand washing and hand sanitiser use.
Here is the Amazon link so you can see what the package looks like, whether you want to buy it there or somewhere else. I think Ulta has it, too. I’ve only tried and can only vouch for the original balm in the yellow tube.
Why don't you try this Milk Makeup Kush Lip Balm - Green Dragon

Everyone Soap for body wash and shampoo! It’s a big bottle and lasts forever. This one looks like it’s on sale on Amazon right now, two pack for $12. wait they might be the same, but one looks blue and the other looks yellow, maybe its just the lighting
I found this
https://www.amazon.com/Swan-Mineral-Oil-16-oz/dp/B001B2RG1C/
But I have no idea if the company would still test on animals or not when the product isn't intended as a cosmetic in this case. I can't find any info about the company Swan.
Edit: There's also Snow River Wood Oil
https://www.amazon.com/Snow-River-7V03389-cutting-boards/dp/B0000CFSV9
This seems safer since the company sells kitchen products rather than pharmacy/bath products, right?
Having some trouble finding a product under that exact name, but is this what you’re talking about? If so, looks very promising! Do you happen to know what degree of heat the spray protects against? Enough for flat ironing?
I second the Beauty Without Cruelty fragrance-free body lotion. I also like the Shikiai Borage fragrance-free lotion (https://www.amazon.com/ShiKai-Lotion-Therapy-Borage-8-Ounces/dp/B001H54VNO?crid=25BQHNTPGUR9L&keywords=shikai+borage+lotion&qid=1538067859&s=Beauty&sprefix=shikai+borage+lotion%2Cbeauty%2C201&sr=1-2-spons&ref=sr_1_2_sspa&am...).
MyChelle has some great vegan, reef-safe sunscreens! I like this one . They’re not super expensive and you can find them at Whole Foods and other grocery stores!
Hey y'all, I didn't get any replies to this stink eye (joking love y'all) but I think I've found something that fits the bill so in case anyone else was wondering - Illuminare Cosmetics do cream eye colours with 15 SPF (mineral) that come in a bunch of colours, some being fairly neutral.
They are Logical Harmony approved CF and entirely vegan brand (I think!)
As they are cream they can be used as an eye primer if you choose a neutral colour :)
I really like the fragrance free Yes to Carrots facial cleanser, personally.
I definitely am interested in these!(these are what I were using here Rainboo Toothbrush - eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush w/ BPA-free soft nylon rainbow bristles – Take pride in your smile! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0124OZXZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_HFOCzbP1K59H7. But I can't find them anymore)
Hard Candy Eyes The Limit eyeshadow primer. Closest thing to Urban Decay's I've ever tried since ditching Urban Decay, and amazingly affordable.
Yeah, I figured I'd get one of the starter kits. I'm kinda torn though because I had these and their face equivalent. I'm Considering just breaking down and using most of my money for that. I usually only wear eyeliner and maybe some blush SO I could forgo a lot of the fluff until my next paycheck.
