My cat was doing the same. She ate so fast she wasn't even fully digesting it... according to the vet, it wasn't even hitting her stomach before she puked it up. (She said because it was "tubed and undigested" that implies it's not going past the esophagus.)
We bought her this, and it's really helped the problem. She still throws up about once a week, but it's no longer daily. It took her about two months to really start using it (putting treats in it really helped), and it helped that I took out the top level at first. (Once she got better at using it, I put the top level back.)
If your cat has the same problem, I recommend it!
Between two cats and girlfriend that sheds and two dead vacuums I ended up buying a Static Broom it has made my life easier.

It's a cat cube! It's a good little hide for them, it has a bed on top and collapses down. Pretty nice buy for $28!
This is what I have. Warning: cat does NOT fit in the pocket no matter how hard you try.
I have used multiple brands over the years—I look for a flat pad designed to go outside, and I use them inside such as: https://www.chewy.com/kh-pet-products-extreme-weather-kitty/dp/46499
Amazon has them, too. I have one on a chair with a blanket over it and my male cat has climbed the chair as his throne. I have one under a blanket on a perch by a window for my female cat (and a bed for her on my heated bathroom floor — she loves that. All of my cats have preferred these to anything else-sweaters, electric blankets, etc. warm but not to hot, and I’ve never had any safety issues. My last cat who lived to 18 spent most of his time happily warming old bones on them.
Some cats will probably just be like that no matter what you try, but here's how I've approached it:
I made sure to get a carrier that, when it's "upright for travel," he can sit up fully and not feel scrunched down. Also I made sure there was good visibility around the whole carrier so he can see most sides. It's this carrier and if he seems particularly distressed (meowing a lot, basically) I will turn it around and wear it on my front so he can see me through the top, which often seems to help.
When the carrier isn't in use, as you can see, it sits on its side with an opening for him to go in and chill if he wants. I have a few little blankies and after I wash them I actually put them in my bed for a night and sleep on them so they smell like me, then I put them in there for him.
When we're going places I give him a treat once he's in the carrier and I also give him a treat when he gets out of the carrier at our destination.
If it is safe to do so, I will open one of the side zippers just enough to get my hand in and will pet him gently for most of the time he's in the carrier so he doesn't feel like I'm far away.
I also made a point of doing things other than the vet with him in the carrier. I took him for short walks outside in the carrier, took him to PetCo to look around, etc. This way he knows the carrier can be fun, too.
Good luck with Molly!
Oh, please tell me she has one of these! My kitty loves hers. https://www.chewy.com/petstages-crunchy-pickle-kicker-plush/dp/308647?utm_id=401602546&msclkid=ac1ae8c955081f8b20f98b83f4a05cad&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping_NC_Cat_HG_Toys&utm_term=4584963495199919&u...
One of our cats seriously injured her leg a while back and she needed a cone for a few weeks, it simply made her miserable so we got her a little donut for around her neck and she took to it MUCH better. It fulfills the same purpose as the cone, heres a quick example product from amazon https://www.amazon.com/ANWA-Adjustable-Recovery-Surgery-Kittens/dp/B08ML4GK1M/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?adgrpid=58769806249&gclid=CjwKCAjwtKmaBhBMEiwAyINuwOsPjdGw7gBoaahXmH-FTEYkogOTdlyDQB52xCazD_DkfrRzJCSlfBoCsMoQAvD_BwE&hvadid=617134286150&...
Alternatively, put a spine wall shelf with a hollow spine where the cords are now and run a cord through it. This would be more involved than a extension power strip, but could look really clean.
I recently had a $3000 trip to the ER for a urinary blockage and for a while there I was really worried about my dude but I got this stuff and I'm of the opinion it works wonders because he's back to having a regular flow and seems his old self. I also switched to a mostly wet diet. Of course none of this matters without knowing what's really at play.
The enclosure is made from 3 sets of these
Tespo Pet Playpen, Portable Large Plastic Yard Fence Small Animals, Puppy Kennel Crate Fence Tent, 12 Panels, 28 X 20 inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XTG94TH/
There's also a large plastic mat from https://gfloor.com/ to protect the carpet.
get these: put them facing away from the enclosure (front toward enemy)

There is an aggressive neighborhood cat that used to come through our front yard and attack our cat through the window. After which, she would go and pee in the living room. Put these out, and now we can see the cat cross the street to pass our house.
You should read How to tell if your cat is plotting to kill you. Sounds like you're in danger...
My cat hates water fountains. If he doesn’t like the fountain get shallow pasta bowls like this (but you can usually find locally cheaper). Chubacoo Pasta Salad Dinner Bowls: 36 oz Large Ceramic Serving Bowls for Kitchen - Shallow Soup Bowl Set of 4 - Wide Porcelain Eating Bowl or Deep Plates Set for Cereal Entree - Dishwasher Safe(White) by charmbor Learn more: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NDX72ZG/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_4122QYVHJ8Q1K7R9PAV2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My one cat is technically short haired! He just has a very thick double coat. I haven’t tried it on any cats with the very sleek flat fur some tabbies have, on them I do wonder if it would sink in deep enough to catch the shedding hairs. I am also a big fan of the fur fetcher which looks like a piece of crap that wouldn’t work but actually does a great job. It’s just plastic ridges with very close together slits that I suppose just grab the hair? It works great on those more ‘surface’ level shedding hairs without cutting like the furminator does, so I think I’d want to try that for a very short/flat coated cat.
I’m a dog groomer and I prefer the coat king/deshedding rake, especially for my cats. It does still have blades so it can technically still cut the coat, but the position means the blade isn’t scraping directly against the guard hairs (they’re parallel with the direction of the hairs). In my experience it’s pretty much just helping to separate the tangled dead hairs and pull them out easier. Anything that looks like this
Here's an Amazon link to the Riogoo Pet Heating Pad. I haven't put a thermometer or temp sensor on it to see how accurate the temp settings are, but they're both going on 2 years and still working well.
littermat there are bigger ones too, definitely going to get one
Don't keep it in kitty's view, it only makes her want it more.
Also, you should get a treat mat and put a few pieces of dry food in there and it would keep her occupied and less obsessed.
I did this for a while and then found the glove brush. Tricks my kitty into thinking he's getting extra pets! Works waaaaay better than this and no terror from a regular brush.
I wasn’t as creative to think of lint roller strips, I bought this and it’s been working pretty good. I combine the 2, I put the stickies on foil because my 2 cats don’t dislike the feeling of the foil but the constant rustling does seem to bother them so if they stick themselves to the foil and it moves, they’re like, f what’s that!? my cousin also recommended using cut up pieces of plastic carpet runner upside down so they’d step on the little nubbies that are meant to keep it in place on the carpet, she said it works for her, but I’ve been quite successful with the sticky paws stuff. It’s sticky enough for them to not like it but not permanently stick to them so when they hop off they do escape the stick.
Try using a slow feeder bowl! My cat always had the same problem, it's totally stopped since we got something like this one. Downside is it takes him forever to eat, but that's an easy price to pay to not clean up surprisingly gross cat barf.
It's a covered bed, so yeah, just a cozy little hide. They get the secure feeling of a box while being a bit more comfy! And no one can shame me for always having cardboard boxes around the house. The Target taco truck (say that 5 times fast haha) is a really smart idea, I'll bet mine would enjoy a covered cardboard scratcher, too. I've had to keep her very first scratcher because she sleeps on it all the time.
I have a very similar chair style.... buy the below and it will look amazingly brand new for cheap. I got the velvet option and it feels amazing. Fits the chair perfectly too.

I just searched for kitten harness on amazon and that came up. They're still a little big on them, but one of the fasteners is velcro so I can still get it secure enough. Room to grow too!

im on mobile so sorry for the gross link, or if it doesn't work. i found it on amazon under "mounted cat tree." It doesn't come with the little cloths on the perches, so i used some stick on carpeting and just slapped it right on there.
One of mine likes the brown packing paper that comes in some boxes.
This stuff. I have a small pile of it in one chair in the LR. He prefers things that aren't soft & cushy like crumpled brown packing paper, my husband's wallet & cell phone, any bag we're trying to pack, piles of shoes, shoe boxes of the correct size are a fave as is our fake Christmas tree while it's still in the box. He tunnels into the box & sits in it as we're putting it up.
But soft blankets, well, he hateses them my precious. If we have one of those super soft blankest on the bed & he doesn't see it & jumps up he'll immediately bounce right off it or jump across it.
They have them on Amazon
Amazon has some really nice ones for relatively cheap. I bought two for about 25 bucks each. They're the duffle bag type like this one. Sorry for the monstrous link, I'm on mobile.
