It very well could be a bug on the game server's end of things in one of two ways: it could be that you should've unlocked it the last time you actually played it but your activity never registered until now, or it could be a glitch where your account accidentally pinged the requirements for that achievement. (IME I had a State of Decay 2 achievement become unlocked that required A)playing a specific DLC mode, plus B)redeeming the points from that mode for an item, and finally C) using that item in the regular game -- I hadn't done any of those steps, but now I still have that achievement stuck on my profile.)
You can check the recent login history of your MS account, just to be thorough, it can be alarming to think you might have been hacked and didn't realize it. The MS history late is here (https://account.live.com/Activity), and to be extra-aware of any hacks on your accounts--any of them--checkout: https://haveibeenpwned.com/ - it sounds like a gag site, but they are incredibly thorough with their discoveries and the latest revisions even tell you what email & password combinations have been learned in order to stop using them!
I have the same issue. The Xbox One remote recognizes my TV, but I can not get the volume buttons to work. I have a third party Xbox one universal remote I bought through Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XPT38MK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My TV is a Sharp LC-42SV49U
The code the Xbox recognized is T2360
I tried all the generic Sharp TV codes I found on the internet, but none of them worked.
If this remote could work volume and power on my TV, it's the only remote I'd need. It works perfect for the Xbox One S.
This happened to me, go on Amazon and buy a new power supply. I bought a knockoff one and it’s been running great for over a year.
This one:

Jeez I'm sorry about this. I love DR3. I know you've tried it but a hard reboot usually does it for me.

Hope it works for you.
I found the expanded version of the upgrade FAQ from Microsoft here
https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade
They explain:
When you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, we will apply any prepaid time you have on Xbox Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass toward Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, up to a maximum of 36 months.
For example, if you have 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass already on your account when you purchase your first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you will have a total of 7 months of Ultimate on your account before you need to renew your membership.
I probably would not advice that one if you can avoid it.
That's an SSD thumb drive. Those are made differently than 'regular' external ssds. Thumb drives are not made for continual, frequent use. I mean, it might be fine and would work for a while, but if you game frequently I would expect a thumb drive (any thumb drive, not just this one) to fail pretty quickly. Can say how quickly, in a year or so? Depending on how much you game on it. I don't think those are actually as fast as real external ssds, either... Not sure.
On the plus side you don't really lose anything if the drive fails. You'd just have to reinstall all your games. But you wouldn't lose the games permanently and you wouldn't lose your saved games either.
If you can, spring for a real external ssd. Like this one:
I have a 500g one like this and I just move the games I'm playing currently onto that drive.
Or something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Seagate-Portable-External-Hard-Drive/dp/B07CRG94G3/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=hdd+external&qid=1626023600&sr=8-3
Whatever size you need/can afford.
Ok great. Real quick, would this one work? USB drive
I don't think you could use them without a little bit of modification. And from what I read they wear out fast as well when you do that. I would just opt for something like this
That is really bizarre. I have no idea what to make of that one, I'm sorry man.
The fact that other games will reinstall just fine on the system is what really gets me. That's why I'm not sure that this suggestion will work. But my idea is a Blu Ray lense cleaner. Hopefully this solves your issue: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N25ZMPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_KWKPW3NVN31R7W26W5MX
One last idea. Something like this could work for your situation
If not good luck!
So when you install a game on your Xbox it gets saved to the Xbox’s hard drive so you can keep using it. The Xbox One X has a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) inside it which uses older, spinning platter technology so the speeds games can read data from it are pretty slow compared with newer tech. Solid State Drives (SSD) are a newer tech that similarly stores data but is more like a flash drive where speeds are faster.
Now the Xbox let’s you attach additional storage devices via the USB port, and through the UI you can decide which games are stored where.
On an Xbox the only improvements you’ll see by using an external SSD for your games is you likely will see a decrease in the time it takes the game to load or swap levels, etc. Basically any time the game needs to grab new data it will be faster. It won’t upgrade any visuals or make you get better frames per second or anything like that... it will just be load times that may decrease (depends on the games)
If you are still interested, you’ll want to find an external SSD with USB 3.0 to get the best results. Example:
https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Barracuda-500GB-External-Portable/dp/B083FF3PJ9/
Also since your other hard drive is probably fine buy one of these suckers and turn that bad boy into an external drive so you can store more games... If for some reason you dont want this one or dont wanna use amazon and you decide to do your own search for an external hard drive enclosure just make sure its usb 3 and fits 2 2.5 inch hard drive.

Basically I followed the instruction on the NordVPN website: Connecting my laptop to the Xbox with an Ethernet cable, changing the adapter settings, and then turn on the VPN. I thought that it was pretty straightforward so I didn't think that there would be any problem.
As for my dorm setup, I'm using WiFi, same router as the whole dorm and no way to directly connect to it at all.
I’m partial to the Seagate barracuda line. Seagate has actually improved a lot here lately I’d grab this one. https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-BarraCuda-Internal-Drive-2-5-Inch/dp/B07H28QRKN/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=2.5+hdd&qid=1598213441&sprefix=2.5+hdd&sr=8-5.
If you don’t like Seagate you could grab this https://www.amazon.com/Blue-1TB-Mobile-Hard-Drive/dp/B071F9MLJJ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=2.5+hdd&qid=1598213441&sprefix=2.5+hdd&sr=8-4.
Either are good choice imo. If you want a big boost to load times and such you could grab a ssd but they tend to be a bit pricey in comparison, unless you can find a good sale.
I had this problem about two weeks ago. From what I can tell from online searches is that it is the power supply. I happen two xbox ones and with the good power supply both work.
Unfortunately, I've bought two replacements from Amazon and neither work for longer than 20 minutes before the system just shuts off. This is the case for both xboxes.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NS61HVY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jNncFb52XSYG1
That is one that doesn't work for me unfortunately. Let me know if you find one that works please!
Replace the headphone jack in your controller. Super easy, just need a special screw driver to open your controller. No soldering required, it's a press fit piece in the controller. I've replaced a couple. It's a breeze. Part is reasonable on Amazon too.
You can use an Android device as a voice changing microphone - use an app like ours:
connect an aux cable from phone to your PC/gaming hardware (keep volume on Android low initially).
Press Record in the app - it will record and also mirror to the aux cable. Thus your android device becomes a real-time voice changer.
Includes 12-voices usable for Captain Phasma, to Darth Vader to Kylo Ren, Batman, Bane, Gollum, Smaug, Stormtrooper, C3PO. Each voice is individually customizable.
Click Menu - Contact if you have issues.
Looked on amazon for mine and got a turtle beach audio adapter that comes with some extra features for about $40 (https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Headset-Controller-Superhuman-Hearing/dp/B00PWRYKDE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1540687064&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=xbox+one+audio+adapter) but otherwise there are some 3rd part audio adapters and of course the official xbox one audio adapters but from what I saw they were $60 USD or more.
That's the reason. Xbox One's are HDCP 1.4 and HDCP 2.2. It depends on the content you're trying to display and the tv you're trying to use. Here's the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014EZ7266/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You’d need something like this to split the audio from the hdmi cable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073Y3YZGD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gQ8yAbWAX18N7 Just make sure it’s comparable with your sound outputs and inputs. Some work with Dolby and some don’t. I can’t remember what an Xbox does off the top of my head.
You should especially if you never have and its older. Lightly blown air and even a rather gentle vacuum are a good start but if you know what you are doing, taking it apart to clean better doesn't hurt.
Also, if it is in a tight space or if it does overheat that bad, this is the fan I use for mine that helps a ton. The system can run for hours and still be cool to the touch. https://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Intercooler-Xbox-One/dp/B00L2FGSFIk
Sounds good.
If the splitter still makes noise, you may need to invest in a ground loop isolator
