Game saving is possible on AirConsole via the persistentData API calls, but the developers of individual games have to do it during development.
You could use the AirConsole Help to let the devs of PolyBusiness know that this is a feature you'd like to see.
Various other AirConsole games already do save your progress in some way or another. :)
Hey there!
The game selection is the same regardless of which country you're in, and we have not removed any games.
You can always see all available games here: https://www.airconsole.com/play/ (currently 130 titles)
A reason for not seeing all games could be that the device you're using may not be powerful enough to run them. For example, if you're using a tablet or smartTV or a very old computer.
Oh also in CSS files it's relative to the file itself, JS files are relative the file that includes it... dammit
Across all 5 posts, only 5 people commented. So... CONGRATULATIONS! You’re all winners! Thanks for participating. Expect a DM in the next couple minutes (If I missed you, please dm me). To play Meexarps, visit our homepage. You can also play other airconsole games too! I hope playing this game brings you and your friends/family closer together!
Aah, you mean Discover AirConsole.
We did some restructuring in the store and some experiments for which games to show first, and the Discover function wasn't our highest priority. You can access it directly over this link for the moment.
Thank you for the heads up though, we'll see about adding Discover to the store for everyone again.
It's a website, actually, and it's called AirConsole. You're on the airconsole subreddit, actually and all the info regarding it is in the sidebar - not sure how you got here, but welcome nonetheless ^^
You can try it for free right here, but the full version is 2.99$ a month. All these games are playable on there, most were developed by external teams but with the assistance and guidance of our core team.
To go onto this post, Never Have I Ever has a drinking mode built-in. But as Alice said, it is much more fun with more players. That said, I have played with with 2-3 players and had a blast. Hero is not required for the drinking option.
My Friends Are, also has a super secret version which you can find here which has a drinking mode option. Note: You must be an AirConsole Hero for this option to work.
One more thing:
Of the games currently live in the store, only two qualify for the contest. (I.e. they were submitted to the store after the last contest)
From the top of my head, all other titles have either been submitted to a previous contest or have been funded by AirConsole and are thus ineligible.
You don't really need a dedicated distro for this, you can do it yourself :)
For demonstration purposes I'll tell you how to do this on ArchLinux, but you could do it on a distro of your choice.
1) Install sddm and openbox with pacman -S sddm openbox
2) Create a file at /usr/share/xsessions/airconsole.desktop containing the following
[Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Name=AirConsole Comment=Launch AirConsole inside chromium Exec=/usr/bin/chromium --auto-launch-at-startup --incognito --kiosk https://www.airconsole.com/#!kiosk TryExec=/usr/bin/chromium --auto-launch-at-startup --incognito --kiosk https://www.airconsole.com/#!kiosk Icon=google-chrome
3) Create a user to login as: useradd -m -G wheel -s /bin/bash username
4) Create an example sddm config: sddm --example-config > /etc/sddm.conf
5) In /etc/sddm.conf set Session=airconsole.desktop, User=username, Relogin=true
In theory, your Pi should now automatically boot straight up into chromium in kiosk mode, running airconsole in kiosk mode. You don't even need a mouse/keyboard attached, can just be a standalone airconsole appliance like you want! :)
Feel free to ask me if you have any questions
Please describe your problem in a bug report. That way the feedback gets sent to the developer of the game in question. I assume you're talking about the game "PolyBusiness".
You mean using your computer as a controller for AirConsole games?
You can do either of these:
Note that both of these are relatively "hacky" workarounds intended as development tools and/or to test basic functionality without enough phones at hand. The user experience will be subpar and many games will not be particularly enjoyable when played with the mouse this way.
I can't speak on why it was removed, since I am not too sure (there was a post about it previously which suggested why).
As an alternative, have you tried My Friends Are ___?
Hey there! We can't give out exact AirConsole Hero user numbers, I'm afraid. As for available games: We have 154 in total, you can find them all here.
How many of them are available for free can vary sometimes as we run experiments/ A-B tests. At the moment, most users will have 11 games available for free, with the other 143 being Hero-exclusive.
We don't like to put out exact revenue estimates because it can fluctuate, and we of course hope that the number grows significantly. If you join the AirConsole Developer discord, you may find a few individual developers willing to share their data though :)
> The ones that don't work, I was able to look up on YouTube just fine and find the same karaoke video, but it won't load in air console
Now this is weird, and in that case it's probably not just a location issue. Unfortunately that means that a VPN will likely not solve the problem.
Please report your issue through https://www.airconsole.com/help, okay?
Hey there, thanks for your feedback. Right away: we are working on improving communication about which games are available where and why. At the moment, the AirConsole store filters games based on your setup, but you may not know why something isn't shown. We know this isn't ideal, and we are working on overhauling the store to fix this and other things.
>2) Playing alone using TV browser
>The number of games seem to automatically decrease because the TV's browser is much slower - I guess it's good that AC can detect this?
Yes, our 'bigger' (made with Unity) games cannot run in the smart TVs browser, and not all Unity games are available for separate downloads on Android TV.
>Can't control the volume of game music which means I can barely hear my friends, but at least my friends can hear game music even when I'm on headphones, since the music is from their own side.
This is an issue we're aware of, but one that is oddly hard to fix. We are working on it.
> Downsides: that there will be a lag, so can't really play graphic-intense or response-sensitive games.
This is exactly why the store filters them out via airconsole.com/join ;) What exactly is available or not is not perfectly sorted yet though, that's something we'll further improve.
> Because (I suspect) the list of games change depending on number of players and mode of joining the game, I haven't been able to see all 150+ games at once...? Can anyone else confirm this?
If you're on a computer and without screensharing, you should see all games. Those that need more players than are currently connected may not show up at the top, but they are not hidden.
If you want to see all games and start any of them directly, you can also go to https://www.airconsole.com/play/ Not all of these will work on all hardware (many will be unavailable on tablets or smart TVs) but on that site you can see them all without any filtering, sorted by popularity.
Please note that this feature is currently in Beta. There are still a lot of problems and plenty of ideas for how to make it better. We wanted to get it out there asap because we know many people are stuck at home and looking for stuff to do.
Note: for now, you need to enable camera access for it to work. We're working on making it available without camera.
It could be that the game is not available on your device, if you're playing on a tablet, smart TV or have low bandwidth internet.
Perhaps you can start the game via this link?
Hey there!
This is a suggestion you can submit to the game's developers using the AirConsole Help.
We cannot guarantee that the developers will make any changes, but I do suggest you let them know :)
Hey there!
Offering more info about games in the store/overview is something we're considering for the future.
At the moment, you can read more about individual games by clicking on them in this overview: https://www.airconsole.com/play
🎁🎊Hero Code Giveaway!! 🎊🎁
To use one (they don't stack), simply enter it in your AirConsole App instead of a session code. A code is worth 30 days of AirConsole Hero 🎉🎉
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!

Wait, I forgot My Friends Are in that list. Damn it. Sorry.
Actually my favorite of the bunch, aside from Penny's Farm: My Friends Are_<br>
Basically, imagine Cards against Humanity meets FriendsQuiz.
I'm almost certain The Neighborhood was a sponsored/co-produced game. It's been on the platform for nearly a year, so it would have qualified for the last competition. You shouldn't have to worry about it as a contender for this one :)
The same team made the Airconsole games Tower of Babel and Rat Race. They're also worth checking out.
You can use a tablet as controller if you use the browser and use the url https://www.airconsole.com/?role=controller
The problem with using tablets as controllers is that most games' controller layouts are designed with smaller screens in mind. It depends on the game and the size of the tablet, but some games rely on the assumption that the player can reach their entire controller screen with one or two fingers, which is not usually the case with iPads.
Hi JaySpike
Thank you for your feedback. As you can surely understand, we had to add monetization to the platform in order for it to survive. We are a team of 6 people developing this platform, trying to grow it, supporting developers in making games for it and developing our own games.
That being said, of course we want out revenue strategy to be something our users can agree with.
>Half the time the ads don't even work on our phones, we have to reset the website and log everyone in over and over again to get one good game to run
That is unacceptable of course, and I can totally understand that it frustrates you. Could you answer the following questions for me so we can fix this issue?
>games that we can pay for with no ads instead of the mess that is Airconsole.
Have you played AirConsole within the past week? Because we just added an option to pay instead of seeing ads: AirConsole Hero.
For about 3$ a month (prices vary a bit from country to country), you get AirConsole completely ad-free for yourself and everybody playing in a session with you. We've also added some bonus content to some games (like Silly World Series) that is available for you if you're a Hero.
If this is not what you imagined when you said "pay for no ads" then please, tell us your feedback!
AirConsole Hero is still in its infancy and we are very much open to our users' wishes for it.
Let us know what you think :)
https://www.airconsole.com/help/browsers-and-apps/which-browsers-are-supported-by-airconsole
In short, you can't use your TV unless it's an Android TV running the Airconsole App.
Airconsole needs modern a modern JavaScript engine to work, smart TV browsers just aren't built with that functionality in mind.
Hi. Im one of the developers of Sushi Gold. From the developers zone i have access to this link https://www.airconsole.com/#!exclusive=contest-preview from where looks we have access to all the games of the contest. I suppose you also can use it. Im not sure if i can share this link btw.
Have fun playing the games in the contest!
P.S. Play Sushi Gold and tell us what you think of it! We will love some feedback in the current tech demo state ;)
>baby shower trivia game
Thanks for the reply! I've browsed a little in kahoot.com, but I couldn't find something like Airconsole's FriendsQuiz. Still, there are many quizzes which I can still try, so thanks!
Nice! congratulations to the winners, honorable mentions and participants! Looking forward to play the games and have some fun... the second place reminded me a lot of Drawception, it's awesome to have a similar experience for AirConsole :D
You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airconsole.androidtv&hl=en&gl=US
What's your device name?
Hi, I second what Alice said here: newest version - definitely WAY better with the smoothed movement. The controllers are indeed a bit hard to get it right, specially if you are playing with larger smartphones. I would love to play a version with a two buttons controller or something else. Other than that, I think that the collectible circles could have a different color and shape because they use the same green (similar) as the player color. Maybe you could use a symbol (*) instead of circles?
About the design in general, if you want to go with flat design. I suggest you to have a look on OneMoreLine: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smgstudio.onemoreline&hl=en
I really like the music, the start screen and love the bots (and the finishing). This game is fun! Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to your next build.
