If you haven't already, check out the Humble Bundle for mobile. One time fee for each bundle and you get a good amount of games. A lot of them good, and a lot of them I've never even heard of. Plus some of the money goes to charity.
I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like Shadowrun Returns. I was wondering that myself in that review.
But hey, if I'm wrong, someone will quickly come in and correct me.
This is a game we made with friends some time ago. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ShainsawBrothers.SuperSecretProject It still has some puzzles. Not a lot of people have played it because we did not do any marketing. It was a learning game for us. It would be nice if you can play it. Because you seem to be very enraged. Always wanted to see how angry people play my game. (one of my dreams). Since AVGN is out of reach for me I have no other choice but to ask you.
--EDIT Forgot to add the the game has a progression and the END BOSS. So yeah there is a boss fight.
Well, this is something different now :) Insel comes from the latin "insula" and mean island. This Simulator should simulate the life on a small island. xD
Well, the game concept is much more interesting. This is a full 3d engine for android devices. It can manage custom levels, images, 3d models aswell as language packs.
There are several features build in this game right now. A full FPS control gives the players the ability to run and watch around the world.
You may also gather ressources and other stuff. You can even bake bread in one level. There should be even more features like that build in.
I think of driving around in a boat, building stuff and drive from island to island
Grab the new version on the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onlinearts.island_simulator2014
OR in the Amazon Store: http://www.amazon.de/Online-Arts-Insel-Simulator-2014/dp/B00JS6K2Z0
I would really like to hear critics and comments on this update :)
Maybe this one? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=age.of.civilizations.jakowski
Also, some of the Kariosoft games are sort of empire building and typically do not have any IAPs..though once you've played one, you've played them all.
