WhoSampled is your friend. It's probably Buddha Monk's Clack Clack, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmKdtpViyjI
Edit: Saw your comment on the x-post. If this isn't it, there's a good chance the DJ just made it on the spot.

I started using a shoulder pad (this) for that exact reason. Made me much more confident throwing myself into the mills too.
length depends on u. as for the foam thickness and setup, i can give advice. you should def tape a linoleum on top of the foam. the thicker the foam, the more padding obviously, buuuut the more difficult it will be to do spins that require a lot of pressure in one point, like 90s. also, your balance for handstands will change on a padded floor bc of the way your hands sink into the floor a lil. however, it’s so good for preventing injuries so i have the setup at home, though i prefer also going to dance studios so i can get a diff type of floor. i use these at 1/2 inch. tbh you could probably do less of a thickness. im thinking of getting more foam pads so i can set up outside and will be buying ones that are less thick than 1/2 inch.
For power moves, find some concrete outside like in park and use this
Have tested 3 times and it works. Can send vids if u want
These are the ones I got. I usually shop around for Volleyball or Wrestling tailored knee pads since I'm a little bigger.

slamming your knee against the ground is feelsbadman.jpg and will restrict your training.
