Maybe you could mirror your phone/tablet to a tv and also plug a plain usb mouse to the phone, and it's almost like the real thing. (If it works…)
Great work, full of imagination. But I suppose the light beam of the airship can be created more real and other areas of the grassland should be darker.

Some more shots and info (mostly a nice GIF) one behance. I shot rather high speed flash, cleaned up some of the splatter, removed my hand/water bottle, and made sure everything was black in the background. Masked out the liquid I wanted, changed color and adjusted levels.
