These make good spheres. I did a Kaladin cosplay and put a bunch of them in a small translucent pouch to good effect.
If you purchase the physical copy it has all three books in order: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1250297796/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zmh-Cb6YJ6R7T
In terms of publication history it goes
1) legion
2) skin deep
3) lies of the beholder
EDIT You do need to read them in order as they build onto each other
thanks!
The wiring book was pretty useful for me while doing some simple electrical work so I’d recommend it. The plumbing book seems good (has a lot of photos) and I’d probably recommend it too, I just haven’t had a reason to do any plumbing yet, so hard for me to judge how useful it is. “Creative Homeowner” is the publisher for both. Make sure you get the latest version if you get them!
The bookshelf I got recently from a company called Tribesigns on Amazon
Yeah, they are pretty similar. This is the Skyward UK Cover - link goes to Amazon: Skyward
According to Amazon it comes out on October 3.
So now I have to ask... why didn't you look on Amazon? =)
Per Amazon:
Product Description An all-new Stormlight Archive novella, "Edgedancer," will be the crown jewel of Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection, the first book of short fiction by #1 New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson.
The collection will include nine works in all. The first eight are:
“The Hope of Elantris” (Elantris) “The Eleventh Metal” (Mistborn) “The Emperor's Soul” (Elantris) “Allomancer Jak and the Pits of Eltania, Episodes 28 through 30” (Mistborn) “White Sand" (excerpt; Taldain) "Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell” (Threnody) “Sixth of Dusk” (First of the Sun) “Mistborn: Secret History” (Mistborn)
These wonderful works, originally published on Tor.com and elsewhere individually, convey the expanse of the Cosmere and tell exciting tales of adventure Sanderson fans have come to expect, including the Hugo Award-winning novella, “The Emperor's Soul” and an excerpt from the graphic novel "White Sand."
Arcanum Unbounded will also contain the Stormlight Archive novella "Edgedancer," which will appear in this book for the first time anywhere. It is a story of Lift, taking place between Words of Radiance and the forthcoming Oathbringer.
Finally, this collection includes essays and illustrations for the various planetary systems in which the stories are set.
Dragonsteel Entertainment is the name of Sanderson's company. Dragonsteel the book series will be one of the last published Cosmere stories, but chronologically one of the first. Its first draft is available at the BYU library albeit with an eternal waiting list.
There should be--which country are you in? Amazon Spain has this
It doesn't look like it'll be out in Mexico until July.
Solved my own problem. You have to use comixology.
If you've already purchased the kindle edition, go to https://www.comixology.com/, and log in using your amazon account information. Then click on the "My Books" link at the very top of the page. If you try to search for it directly, it looks like they will attempt to charge for it again on comixology.
Once you click on it to read, the website has a zoom feature that actually scales the text nicely so it's legible when you zoom in.
Also, the Ire are Elantrians. So you gotta read Elantris, too. I have a reading order I made to catch all the Easter eggs without having to jump between series too much. 😊
Storm light has a very steep learning curve. I usually recommend that people start with Mistborn. I’ve attached a reading order here for your use. It makes it so you get all the Easter eggs without jumping between series too much. Mistborn is more self-contained, and is therefore a good starter point.
We put it together with Tor and picked which chapters would go in it. There was also a free ebook version with a few more chapters.
Edit: ebook still exists.

I just ordered some basic frames off of Amazon.. Not sure if links are allowed, but if so, it's these. I bought 2 sets of 5
Note - I was not paying attention, and these are wall frames, so they don't stand on their own (Mine are very carefully leaned against the wall)
Nope, Arcanum Unbounded is being released as both ebook and hardback!
Here's the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Arcanum-Unbounded-Collection-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/0765391163/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473793281&sr=8-1&keywords=arcanum+unbounded
both amazon and B&N are releasing a hard cover version of the 3rd story but it is the limited edition from Subterranean Press.
https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/legion-brandon-sanderson/1129847178?ean=9781596068858
well for a starter - if you are in the states at least - you can get the first 3 books in mass market paperback for less than $17 on amazon (less than $6 per book) before taxes
https://smile.amazon.com/Wheel-Time-Boxed-Set-Books/dp/0812538366
even cheaper if you have any used book shops around most likely. and of course with spring coming up in a couple months - hit up rummage sells, you will be surprised what you can find on the cheap.
I'm from the UK and it seems like the release date is next year: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1939424453/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_W1ByFb69QMFD9
So, it's out in the US but no in the UK, right? I really want to read this book, but it seems I have to wait a little bit longer.
I really doubt it.
The current audiobook version of Skyward is listed on Audible as an "only on Audible" title. Audible tends to hold onto their exclusives—I have never seen one eventually appear at another source.
See also: Steelheart, which was released six years ago by the same publisher as Skyward. It is also an Audible-exclusive, and it also has no GraphicAudio version.
If you need a non-Sanderson related reason to get back into them; they recently switched to having one author responsible for writing the story articles for an entire set (rather than having each chapter written by a different person), which I think is going to do wonders to improve on the consistency and quality of the storytelling.
Dominaria is the first set for which they used this method. They got Martha Wells to write the story for this set and it's pretty damn good, especially compared to Ixalan (which was ok) and Amonkhet (which I didn't really care for).
This book's US and UK version has different narrators.
https://www.audible.com/pd/Skyward-Audiobook/B07H7Q5D3M
US version is narrated by Suzy Jackson;
https://www.audible.com/pd/Skyward-Audiobook/B078HF56JD
UK version is narrated by Sophie Aldred.
Sadly, it is very rare, really hard to find and super expensive. This is the only one I could find.
I would suggest that you try with Revolut (https://revolut.com)
You get a pre-paid MasterCard (which you can use immediately). You just need to top-up the amount you need. You can try to use your Maestro card for the top-up. If that is not successful, you will be able to top-up via bank transfer.
And you can buy the book from Amazon, Book Depository,....
Here's an example. It creases easily so it keeps its hold and shape well.
I actually found them on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07814GDL7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Looks like that particular model is no longer for sale, but you can see a bunch of similar ones on that page.
This was from Audible.com which doesn't have a .ca equivalent. Like I said somewhere else; Amazon is confused when it comes to how to deal with Canada.
If you're just looking for the paperback: (This SHOULD be a Non-affiliate link, no promises though...) https://www.amazon.ca/Well-Ascension-Book-Two-Mistborn-ebook/dp/B000UZQI0Q/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1486044742&sr=8-4&keywords=mistborn
I can see it being sold as hardcover on amazon, so I guess that it was published.
Nope.
However, you'd be better off getting the omnibus Many Lives of Stephen Leeds, which contains all three stories. It's cheaper than buying just story 2, at least on Amazon.
Seele des Königs = Soul of the King (source am german)
and I expected it to be one of the split up version of the Stormlight archive but those are named
Der Pfad der Winde - Path of Winds
Die Worte des Lichts - Words of Light(the literal translation of Radiance sounds stupid)
Die Stürme des Zorns - Storms of Wrath
Der Ruf der Klingen - Call of Blades
Die Splitter der Macht - Shards/Splinters of Might
and it is really Emperors Soul(Amazon link for proof read the description). But Ican imagine how they made it this big I only read the english text and it seemed quite short.
Most ebooks are just 1 or 2 Euros cheaper than the printed versions. But it's only for the german versions. We have fixed book prices which are supposed to keep bookstores alive and prevent for example amazon from taking over.
So it's a lot better to buy the English versions anyways. The second half of Oathbringer comes out next month in German and it costs 26€. Ebook is 19,99... https://www.amazon.de/Die-Splitter-Macht-Roman-Sturmlicht-Chroniken/dp/3453270398/ref=asap_bc?ie=UTF8
You'll want to pick up some marking spray; there are different brands (Cermark, Brilliance, etc.) That'll up your metal marking game.
I haven't looked into making a replica of Brandon's cube, so I'm not entirely sure about the line you're referencing, but I think it could be referring to one of two things:
First, I know that there are a few cards in it where he had an artist paint another card they did the art for on the back of an artist proof, which he allows you to play on either side like an MDFC. I'd imagine he's talking about just slipping both cards into the sleeve back to back. It might be possible to cheat that way, but if you've got the rest of the cards double-sleeved, and those pseudo-MDFCs single sleeved, they're probably a similar thickness. Of course, if you're mostly printing proxies for this (and I don't think any Magic player other than maybe Post Malone could replicate Brandon's cube WITHOUT printing proxies) you can just print those ones double sided, and avoid the issue.
He also made a few of his own split cards, using cards from the World's Smallest decks, (https://www.amazon.com/Worlds-Smallest-Magic-Gathering-Decks/dp/B08W8BDMSJ) with two cards from those glued to a regular size card back. He could be talking about those, too.

Tell your buddies I'm bringing a copy of Who's Got Game (light, fun social interaction game - https://www.amazon.com/Whos-Got-Game-Neil-Strauss/dp/B005F3GPJC) to donate to the game wall this morning.
They should pick a time and post to reddit and the 17th shard discord for interested singles to show up.
Voila - singles meetup.
They could also put an ISO (ex. # of players/gender/sexual pref, etc.) sign and time next to the game, game wall, or talk to the game area staff about a signup.
I expect the shrink wrap to be off that game by the end of the con :)
FWIW: You can subscribe to Comixology Unlimited and read it for free (well, free after the $6 a month, but you can get a free 30 day trial).

They have the picture on Amazon which looks to be just hardcovers in a box set https://www.amazon.ca/Stormlight-Archives-Boxed-Set-1-4/dp/1250826039
Still a good deal though imo if you're planning on getting the hardcovers
We've have the deleted interlude and official Stick merch. I think likes it.
We've got that one deleted interlude and official Stick merch. I think his official stance is pretty clear lol.
There's at least an ebook version, because I have it:
Check tomorrow. It is still September 19th in the US right now, so it hasn't come out yet.
US Amazon has a listing for the Kindle edition: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3VM9RB7?notRedirectToSDP=1&ref_=dbs_mng_calw_5&storeType=ebooks
I was surprised when I found out too. I didn't even know they were publishing it here. Here's the Amazon page for it.
Damn, "Arquivos das Tormentas" would have been so much better.
$203 on Amazon. You might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere if you search by ISBN and check regularly, but in terms of out of print books Amazon tends to be a pretty accurate representation of what's out there.

https://www.amazon.com/Emperors-Soul-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/1616961511/ref=monarch\_sidesheet
Dark One is not Cosmere. The hard and fast rule of Brandon's works is that if it mentions or takes place on Earth, it's not Cosmere.
The graphic novel was originally supposed to take place in the Cosmere, but Brandon moved it out of the Cosmere a while back. Here's the whole history of it.
And we're also getting a Dark One Audio-novella called Dark One: Forgotten later this year! Preorders are on Amazon already.
We also have data about and preorders up for Dark One: Forgotten as well.
Someone found these on Monday, and this is probably what at least part of the "pretty packed" update was supposed to be about.
If you're in the UK then you can grab the new(ish) hardcover that's a single volume.
The Way of Kings: The Stormlight Archive Book One https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1398703621/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_NZHHMJ56NV9F3WACYGEN
Where are you getting reviews that the rest of the Mistborn series is unimpressive?
According to Goodreads :
The Final Empire: 4.46/5
The Well of Ascension: 4.37/5
The Hero of Ages: 4.5/5

According to Amazon
The Final Empire: 4.7/5
The Well of Ascension: 4.7/5
The Hero of Ages: 4.8/5

If you liked the first one the odds are very good you'll like the rest.
I've been using these plastic protectors while I'm actively reading them. I saw them reccomended by another user here and found them on Amazon. They fit perfect and no foil came off beneath the plastic during my 2 weeks reading twok. Probably wouldn't want to store them like this for too long as I think the leather needs to breathe.
I've been looking into it recently. Waiting on an email from Gollancz the publisher.
You can still get a single edition hardcover of The Way of Kings on Amazon at least.
As for the later books, that is what I am in touch with Gollancz for. It's likely they'll be doing a re-run of the hardbacks for their 10th anniversaries. So 2024, 2027 and so on.
Generally hardbacks are only available new at launch as far as I can tell, and these limited re-runs.
Guess Brandon gets more of my money!
As far as I know, those are the only US hardcovers that exist. If it's a Tor Mistborn era 1 hardcover, it's what you want.
Also not sure what you mean about Amazon. Is this not what you're looking for?
Treat them as an extra book in the series. They have a different person writing the prose and Spensa isn't in the book for the most part, but otherwise they're just as important as the mainline novels.
Looks like the combined version is coming out in ebook and hardcover April 5:
https://www.amazon.com/Skyward-Flight-Collection-Sunreach-Evershore/dp/0593567854/
Audio formats are expected to be reserved to the individual novellas for the time being, apparently.
> As a final note, I will point out the two Reckoners side stories. Mitosis, a novella set between books 1 and 2, and then... Welp, can't remember what the other one was called, but I know it came out like six months ago and happens several years before the series. I have read neither, but you may be interested.
The the next book is 'Lux' that follows a new group of people.
Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe Reads like a D&D adventure campaign with a highly rules-based magic system, a cast of atypical fantasy protagonists, and I found very enjoyable. The author is very active on r/ProgressionFantasy
Powder Mage trilogy. His work is similar to Sanderson (well developed magic system, smart characters, and good worldbuilding).
I haven’t tried the audiobooks but it seems to have good reviews: https://www.audible.com/pd/Promise-of-Blood-Audiobook/B00C2DMXCG
It also has 2 eras with two trilogies (second in progress, same as Mistborn).
It was my fastest read of 2017, and the author is quite active on reddit.
Martha Wells was the first outside author WotC brought in. She wrote 12 chapters, totalling around 50000 words. Her story begins here: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-story/return-dominaria-episode-1-2018-03-21
Assuming Brandon had similar instructions, that would fit the timeline gap pretty well.
I haven't used it because I write academically. This is what the website says:
"ProWritingAid's author comparisons feature allows you to select your favorite author and compare their writing to yours in the following areas:
You'll be able to see how your writing compares in these areas to the average for your chosen genre and your favorite author."
https://prowritingaid.com/art/1435/compare-your-writing-to-your-favorite-author-s.aspx
I think it's been stated that he will eventually release an anthology of all the non-cosmere stories, so it may be worth just waiting until then.
Also, 100% completion of all "available" Sanderson material is difficult due to Dragonsteel's extremely limited library circulation.
The Book Depository seems to have the single book paperback version:
http://www.bookdepository.com/search?searchTerm=words+of+radiance&search=Find+book
http://www.bookdepository.com/Words-of-Radiance-Brandon-Sanderson/9780765365286?ref=grid-view
And it's UK based with no shipping costs, so you should get it pretty fast. (goes through regular mail, so no tracking, though I've been buying from them for 3 years with not a single book lost, and people I know who have had their deliveries delayed usually get another one sent for free, sometimes eventually getting both copies because something went wrong through postal services)

Yeah man, i do also enjoy those covers. Thanks a lot for the picture. The books definitely look good. To make it clear, the boxed set corresponds to the first three books in the image right? (after elantris and warbreaker)
No, for something like this Adam Horne us a better option. On reddit he is mistbornllama. He doesn't post much but he was just discussing the newsletter on r/skyward. You might be able to catch him with a DM. BTW, they use MailChimp for their newsletter.

Ours are all paper backs. It wasn't until I started getting booktuber content on my YT feed that I realised that the US ones are hardbacks.
https://www.amazon.com.au/Rhythm-War-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/0575093382
I adore our Skyward covers too.
Here's a Cosmere reading order I fully support, it's a good build-up to writing styles and also is the order to make all the connections and easter eggs make the most sense if you pay attention to the stories and the details (I'd change only one thing, read Elantris after Mistborn Era 2 and before secret history, I myself read Elantris after Mistborn Era 1 and then Emperor's Soul, then Era 2)
Recently made this guide for a friend. It minimizes switching between series as frequently, and should allow you to catch all the Easter eggs. Plus, Mistborn is a pretty isolated series that is easy to get into and isn’t overwhelming in complexity.
Literally just whipped this up for my friend. (If I’m missing something, let me know) Should minimize jumping between series and should allow you to enjoy all the Easter eggs. Also, it includes “The Lost Metal” last because of a recent wob Brandon gave at Jordan Con→ very big Mistborn spoiler…read ROW and Bands of Mourning first!
I clearly remember those from many years ago. Didn't read them in physical format, only ebook format a few years later.
Had a quick look around and there's a spanish version of one of the books so clearly they haven't all been taken off-the-market... i might even still have them on my kindle lol (unless they were purged by amazon?)
Spanish ebook: https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Brandon_Sanderson_Redenci%C3%B3n_Infinity_Blade_La_espa?id=pSSlBQAAQBAJ
Spanish paperback: https://www.amazon.es/dp/8466655794/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=ebook+infinity+blade&qid=1632589063&sr=8-2
For series with some Mistborn influence, I’d recommend: 1) The Draconis Memoria by Anthony Ryan. The magic system is drinking drake blood to gain powers, different drakes, different powers. 2) Lightbringer by Brent Weeks. Basically substitute metal for colors and you have the magic system. 3) Threadlight by …me 😅
There is specifically a collection of those two stories, you probably read that.
I ended up using these ones from Amazon. It has been a month so far and no issues yet. The downside with the velcro though is it is a lot harder to line up properly. Mine is it a slight angle... but all in all it is a great looking case and I love it.
Anyways here is the strips: Command Picture Hanging Strips, Holds 16 lbs, 14 Pairs, White, PH206-14NA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XR4X72/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_NZ0ZG4MH3KAASCV6AR6Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks so much!
I actually just got the shelves on Amazon. I was pretty surprised how good they look.
Looks like the ones I got are no longer for sale, but you likely find very similar ones.
I have these editions of Mistborn and I think they would be what you consider "floppy". They are paperback and they stay open very nicely.
Nice! Just to let you know, this Thursday a reprint of TWoK UK HC is released:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Way-Kings-Stormlight-Archive-Book/dp/1398703621
Do you mean the prose version or the graphic novel?
You can get the prose version in Bradon's newsletter. Sign up for it on his website and he includes a link to it in each newsletter that he sends out. The file is a Word document, but you should be able to use Calibre to convert it to the right format for your device.
If you mean the graphic novel, it should be available in kindle format on Amazon. I bought volume one that way and found that using it in the ComiXology app was the best way to view it. Amazon owns ComiXology so the app is free and you'll be able to use the kindle version in it.
Amazon has Rhythm of War for $30 CAN. Not sure why the earlier books are so expensive right now.
https://www.amazon.ca/Rhythm-War-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/0765326388/
Edit: I'm guessing demand is high right now with the new release and people starting the series. I expect that they will end up doing more printings of those books eventually (Covid might be causing a shortage) and the price will eventually drop some. Depends on whether you want to wait or not.
Do you live in the US? If not (I'm guessing from the mention of AU), that might be the reason.
It's definitely still available on the US Amazon site. https://smile.amazon.com/Rhythm-Stormlight-Archive-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/0765326388
How come the UK Amazon shows Arcanum Unbounded as being 352 pages long?
Amazon always has the page count if you scroll down to product details. It says 528 pages.
well here is a link to the book on amazon - sorry it was a paperback not hardcover
I think you're right--both iron gold and dark age may be part of the iron gold trilogy (according to Wikipedia). Honestly, I haven't read any of them yet although they are on my list. Amazon lists red rising as a 5 book saga with iron gold and dark age as books 4 and 5: https://www.amazon.com/Red-Rising-Saga-Book/dp/B078YBW2H5
If you're in the US and don't absolutely refuse to buy from them, Amazon has it for under $4 right now. I picked it up on a whim after seeing that price, though I usually buy my Sanderson from local stores.
I don't think this is a legit synopis...
here is the one from Amazon in spoilery tags just in case
>!The sequel to the New York Times bestseller Skyward!
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Reckoners series, Words of Radiance, the Mistborn trilogy, and the Stormlight Archive comes the second book in an epic series about a girl with a secret in a dangerous world at war for humanity's future.
All her life, Spensa has dreamed of becoming a pilot. Of proving she's a hero like her father. She made it to the sky, but the truths she learned about her father were crushing. The rumors of his cowardice are true--he deserted his flight during battle against the Krell. Worse, though, he turned against his team and attacked them.
Spensa is sure there's more to the story. And she's sure that whatever happened to her father in his starship could happen to her. When she made it outside the protective shell of her planet, she heard the stars--and it was terrifying. What she learned turned her world upside down. Everything Spensa's been taught is a lie.
But Spensa also learned a few things about herself--and she'll travel to the end of the galaxy to save humankind if she needs to.!<
From what I've read?
So you could read that as 1. Stormlight Archive 2. Mistborn 3. Other books
This link is all the Mistborn books with the UK (Gollancz) covers, this is the trilogy with US covers. There is a boxed set of the original Mistborn trilogy somewhere, I've seen it in the UK versions (can't speak for the US, as where I live all the Sanderson books are sold with the UK covers).
You'd have to buy the Stormlight Archive and other books separately though as I don't think they have boxed sets yet. Amazon and Book Depository are bound to have them, I'd recommend shopping around for the best price. I don't live in the US, so I can't speak for the retailers that exist over there.
Edit: Yeah nah I got the order wrong
Just did a quick search. The one I've used before is called Brandon Sanderson Tracker, but there's a newer one that looks more basic (I think it's just a WiP tracker) called Stormwatch.
And apparently Amazon UK has the hardcover on the 9th June! (Same as the hardcover in your Amazon link, maybe the UK/EU version?)
https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Dark-One-Hardcover-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/1939424453
Did you read the 10th anniversary edition?
Was there a Hoid scene at the very end?
If not follow these instructions.
Once the page loads, click "Look Inside" right above the picture of the book.
Scroll down a little more than 3/4ths of the way to the page number 588.
Enjoy
The MP3 CD listing on Amazon shows the cover with Yaegashi on it, but the description doesn't say who the narrator is, so I'm not sure I'd trust it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1501260634/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YytkEbEV62827
The box set for mistborn is a UK release, here's a link to an Amazon page, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mistborn-Trilogy-Boxed-Set-Ascension/dp/147321369X/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=mistborn+trilogy&qid=1575607465&sprefix=mistborn+&sr=8-1
Edit: Not sure if it comes in a hardback version.
^(because I know I hate it when people don't post a link to the deals they post)
I went to go buy it-but I already bought it back it 2016 it was on sale for $1.99 then
Better yet, here's a link to the product itself! Damage free adhesive.
Can you just copy and paste it to a word doc?
<em>Sassinak</em> and the rest of the Planet Pirates triology, perhaps. The first one in particular is definitely "a coming of age story with sci-fi and space".
Weird.. this one looks like it's in stock and shipped/sold by Amazon... and is reasonably priced:
Otherwise here's some other reasonably priced 3rd party sellers:
You should pick up a copy of The Slow Regard of Silent Things and maybe Rouges so that you can learn a little bit more about two of the supporting characters while you wait on the third installment.
Nobody has mentioned the "Lies of Locke Lamora" by Scott Lynch yet. If you love stories about charming thieves, underground criminal organizations, and good old fashioned revenge, this book is great! (Language is a little explicit, fyi)
The best part of Book 10 is the Amazon reviews. "Total plot inertia" indeed.
Then you had plenty for both Mistborn and Way of Kings
