Woops. In my haste I failed to notice they've actually embedded an older video. Will update as it comes out. Oh I guess I can't change the link? Here's the new video: https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150585205020578&oid=94712919842
Thanks, much appreciated. :)

I said that 12 hours isn't enough to fully evaluate the game not that a game that sucks for 12 hours will magically be great after that. If a reviewer legitimate thought that Brink sucked after putting 12 hours into it then fine.
As for multiplayer. I think any iteration of Battlefield is pretty bad if you don't play it multiplayer. Team Fortress 2 absolutely sucks if you don't play it multiplayer. Counter-Strike's single player component was pretty terrible. There are plenty of games that I've purchased specifically for the multiplayer component, Brink was one of them.
As for waiting to reach level 7, Bad Company 2 makes you play to unlock the most basic game components like the defib, med kit, ammo kit, grenade launchers. Most of these are unlocked within a few hours. Still, a MAJOR component of the game is missing for the first few hours of playtime. Brink adopts the same attitude toward body types: learn to play the metagame first and then try out new playstyles. It only takes a few hours to get to level 7 in Brink.
Hey, thanks a lot! In my post I put up this link, it should send you to PayPal to donate. Anything is hugely appreciated.
Read your suggestions below.
Check out Can You Run it, see what they have to say about your computer.
If you have all three platforms, then it just comes down to personal preference. Which one do you like best?
I think your CPU might actually be below the minimum requirements. I think you could still run the game, but in a full 8v8 server it'd most likely be a little choppy, even on minimum settings. Check the system requirements lab to make sure. It'll install a Java applet, but it's totally harmless. Refresh the page once it installs.

I have the Logitech G930. It has 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless and can also be used with wire. Great battery life, at least 6-7 hours. Best headset ever!
Cheapest is from Amazon for about $120.
