Hello, Cat lost June 4th, 2500 block of N. Lincoln, Burbank.
He's white with a black tail and ears. He's chipped, very skittish, and his name is Scout.
He loves food. If you find him, he'll come for food or treats. He may be scared, but he is probably really hungry at this point.
I love him with all of my heart and I truly need him to come home.
Thank you for any assistance!

About the same as always for me. Spectrum has never been reliable, it was actually out for us entirely late last night, but I haven't seen any pattern of speed drops during the day.
I am a bit further down Magnolia though, between Buena Vista and Victory.
Here is the post on Nextdoor, but I think you need to sign up for Nextdoor. There’s nothing super important on this, but here it is if anyone wants to see it.
The site listed on that article, Burbankia, has a ton of old photos and articles. It looks like they've recently changed the layout of the photos section, so it's a bit harder to find specific streets, but if you dig deep enough you can find it.
I'm on Providencia, about a block from this photo:
Crazy to see how much the city changes, even the photos from the 70s and 80s are drastically different.
I'm not sure I understand. A theif sees a "smile you're on camera" sign and prefers to rob that person because they know they're up against at least a camera?
I don't see how either getting a camera or putting up camera sings would be worse than having nothing at all. Even if they do still steal your stuff, you'll have a video for the police and your piece of mind.
lol, I couldnt find the name online, so I called the store and the store is closing down and they dont have any more microfibers left and he does not remember the brand BUT I believe it is this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U1PN402
Have you tried a high density foam roller like this $10 one from Amazon?
Or a Tens Machine?
The best Chiropractor I've been to recommended both and they helped a lot, especially for quick relief in between appointments.
Very excited for this news as I’m a big physical media person, especially as I build my 4K collection.
One thing I might suggest is looking into selling 4K discs that aren’t easily available to get in the US. For example, when True Romance first came out in 4K it wasn’t available in the US and I had to make a UK Amazon account in order to get it (not sure why, maybe some rights issues, but it is now available on US Amazon). However, one more I did this for is the Police Story Trilogy in 4K that is not currently available on US Amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/POLICE-STORY-TRILOGY-Blu-ray-LIMITED/dp/B0B1M3SMX4
4K discs are supposed to be region free so there should be no issue playing them on US players (although I’d investigate each title that you may want to sell).
Don’t know how feasible this might be but figure it could be something that might help you stand apart from the various online retailers we have here.
Best of luck to you and the store!
Hey there, sorry. Im currently selling it for $80. I bought it for $225 about a year-ish ago. It's lightly used, but in good working condition. It's missing one of the plastic stand caps, but other than that it's good.
It's this model
Ton of them on Amazon. All kinds.
I'm considering a water conditioner vs. softener. Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/iSpring-ED2000-Electronic-Descaler-Conditioner/dp/B0744TC3PW/
Not sure how it performs in comparison, but the difference is $3k for a softener vs. $300 for an electric conditioner. Plus no need for salt which seems like a plus.

For the last couple weeks, the internet has definitely been less stable. A few days ago, I went ahead and bought a brand new Nighthawk modem, and a new Nighthawk router from BestBuy. Prior to installing the new modem and router, I was having daily service disconnects which would require a modem and router reboot.
I had some issues getting the modem working (despite registration seeming to go perfectly), so I had to call in. While on the phone, I mentioned I was also having some latency issues and would love to see if someone could come check for noise on the lines. A tech came out and she ran tests through the apartment as well as the line outside. Both came back super clean.
She mentioned that because of Safer At Home, their capacity has been sitting around 80%, whereas normally it's in the 20% range. She also mentioned that upstream has suffered quite a bit, and lots of people were struggling to work from home because of that.
Finally, she mentioned that they ran out of IP addresses, and in certain areas around Burbank, people were waiting up to four hours to get an IP address when they rebooted their modem.
If you check my post history, you'll see my very strong reluctance to switch to Spectrum because my AT&T service was top notch. I just couldn't keep paying the same price for 50 Mbps service that I am paying now for 1gig service through Spectrum. I most definitely sacrificed quality for speed.
I will say that it seems like they're doing everything that they can to keep things running, despite these uncertain times. I'm apparently lucky in my apartment to have clean lines and (now with a modem [and router] swap) good speed. I'm hoping that things will improve and everyone will have access to stable internet.
Hope this helps!
She recently made her account private, I'm assuming because people were accusing her of fear-mongering. Here is the post on Next Door: https://nextdoor.com/p/4h\_2WczzrzD6?utm\_content=a&utm\_source=share&extras=NDk0NDM4MDM%3D
The antenna I bought (link below) came with a mounting bracket I just didn't need to use it since I used the old dish's one. Not a big deal, but made the install easier.
TV Antenna - RCA Outdoor Yagi Satellite HD Antenna with Over 70 Mile Range - Attic or Roof Mount TV Antenna, Long Range Digital OTA Antenna for Clear Reception, 4K 1080P Silver https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024R4B5C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Q055ZJ3S18T7QYQ9P0C5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The website has all the info you need.
I have TV Antenna - RCA Outdoor Yagi Satellite HD Antenna with Over 70 Mile Range - Attic or Roof Mount TV Antenna, Long Range Digital OTA Antenna for Clear Reception, 4K 1080P Silver And a booster like this, although not the exact one 24db Distribution Amplifier - Digital TV Antenna Booster Signal Amplifier, Adjustable Boost/Gain, NTSC, ATSC, FM, UHF, VHF - 1000 MHz - Includes RG6 Coaxial Cable
The antenna is installed on my roof, and the amplifier plugged in at the wall. Point the antenna towards the San Gabriel mountains or 59° from the center of magnolia park. The directional antenna will give you best results and mounting on the roof will limit walls/houses/tree interference. Those little flat "multi directional" antenna are bobo, might as well get a coat hanger.
Have you ever considered online tutoring? its like pretty cheap compared to going in person on websites like preply with around 3-6 pound a lesson. I've tried using it for a while and it's really good imo cus it saves on the lesson time. u can try like trial lessons for 70% off too on the first lesson. Just find them in the (subject area) https://preply.com/en/?pref=Mzc1ODQ3Mw==
If you’ve been with them for 5+ years and haven’t upgraded the modem they provided, you may want to try making sure you have the latest modem they have available. Second, I’ve seen situations where a router affects the reliability of one’s internet. (Somehow, some routers work better with a given internet provider’s modem than others.) If you have a netgear or cisco/linksys router then I recommend investing in a Synology router. 1900 or 2600 ac. Good luck, and best wishes.
So if I buy the meguirs I just wash my car at the car wash then use that stuff? Do I need to dry because usually I just use spit free rinse? would these work?
Here is an additional item that home owners are installing in Palm Springs to help with the hard water, that you might be interested in looking at. I am getting one for our outdoor kitchen and pool. https://www.amazon.com/Calmat-1-6004-000USA-Electronic-Anti-Scale-Treatment/dp/B07961CKS2#productDetails
lol. Thanks for the update. If you're looking to plan ahead amazon sells the cheese packs.
I wasn't able to find any anywhere, I bought this one from Amazon and it works just fine. https://www.amazon.com/Bellarise-Red-Instant-Dry-Yeast/dp/B00GWSK7MA/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?ie=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=ppx_yo_mob_b_track_package_o0_img
I’m using this one: HDTV Antenna, Liger Ultra-Thin Indoor Antenna 35 Mile Range - Receive HD Television Signals for Free - Plugs Directly Into Your TV - Includes Adhesive & Stand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NHZWL3E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_k5a1AbY01FX6B
I have streaming services but I’m mainly just looking for abc right now for the nba playoffs and nbc and cbs for nfl later on. Thanks for the suggestions though.
The only people who make money in day trading are the brokers. Technical Analysis only works because of selection bias. Humans see patterns that don't exist, and those patterns are only identified after the fact. People write books on day trading to sell books, not to improve day traders' skills.
If Jim Cramer is such a genius why is he on tv? Because he's smart enough to know that good portfolios only beat the market some of the time, and eventually the market beats you.
If your personal philosophy doesn't match long term investments, then you need a new hobby or a new philosophy. Folks can get lucky in the short term and "beat" the market, but eventually the market beats you. Buy and hold trumps day trading. If Michael Covel was making billions day trading, why let you in in the secret to extract his market rents? Because it's more profitable to write books than day trade.
If you think I'm full of shit, read A Random Walk Down Wall Street and then come back to debate me.
An MBA is great if you get some business experience first. Get your BA, work a couple years, then go get the MBA. Pros are it gives you a chance to put your skills to work immediately (if you are employed like I was). Cons are you need to spend a lot of time on your studies to truly get a lot out of it. You also resent the assholes who get an "MBA" from an online "university."
Day trading isn't a good idea. If you don't have your broker's license, commission fees and taxes (any profits made under a year of holding a security are taxed at your current federal tax rate and not the 15% capital gains rate) will kill your profits.
I've had a portfolio for years, and literally a degree in the subject (MBA, Finance Concentration). I cannot do better than A Random Walk Down Wall Street. Seriously, this should be required reading in high school. It's great advice for the savvy financier and the financial beginner alike.
Read it, and heed it. Best advice I can give you young Skywalker.
