Perhaps consider some form of source or art sharing (like opengameart) so you can coordinate maybe HD remasters of the art in the game. Or maybe post in the official forums for DTFU - your work looks like an upgrade on what has previously been presented, for example.
It's very possible, but I personally think any mobile port probably shouldn't be sponsored by dfworkshop. Considering that the OpenMW team has heard from Bethesda's attorneys not to promote any material running Morrowind on Android, it's possible they might not be happy with Daggerfall either, despite it being distributed it for free - they might just want to protect their IP and limit TES games to only PC and licensed consoles.
If you have Steam Link for Android and a bluetooth controller, or an Android-supported device like the GPD XD Plus, you can stream the game from your PC using the built-in controller support. There just won't be any touch controls.
It's the newest one. Version 1.7.20 of Ryochan7's fork. You might be using a way old version from before the fork. Make sure the other version is not loading on startup because that will cause problems, even after you've closed it.
