dont know for sure but you could try with the free month
also a little tip: use privacy.com so you can essentially create a new credit card every month to get that juicy free hifi
Yup, that's definetly possible, you just have to write a bit of software that basically hooks up Deemix to a bot without leaking your paid HIFI account's ARL because otherwise people could steal your credit card infos. The best solution rn is to use a virtual CC service like privacy.com (you need to be a US citizen to use privacy), register for the HiFi trial, make a bot to download the FLAC's and expose it (thats essentially how freemp3download works lol)
(Oh and if you or someone else is actually interested in it, i could develop a tool to do that :)
Thanks for the useful info.
The d-fi works fine for me, and now I can download FLAC files again!!!
I hope some genius will develop a GUI for d-fi, and it will become an alternative for Deemix.
Tutorial for d-fi is here: https://notabug.org/sayem314/d-fi
could strawberry work for you ? You select the sources from which it fetches metadata and when you edit song, which you can do by album, you can pick from the list, same with album art.
Create deemix-update.bat file, paste this in it using notepad
>cd C:\Users\username\deemix-pyweb (adapt this for your case)
>git pull
>git submodule update --init --recursive
>python -m pip install -U -r requirements.txt --user
>python3 -m pip install setuptools wheel cefpython3 --user
save and run it when you want to update. You can schedule Windows to run this file automatically without having to click on it but I don't do that personally. You need git for this script to work.
oouhh, you mean configuring deemix to use a proxy to connect to deezer? I doubt thats gonna happen and there are many other options to do this.
For docker, use networking functionality
For windows: http://www.proxycap.com/ (never used it, thats the 10 second google search)
Doesn't work. A captcha window comes up but no captcha appears.
And got this error:

After install command line programs like git, you need to restart your computer for them to be runnable from command line. Heads up you'll also need nodejs to run the "npm install -g yarn" script. Go to https://nodejs.org/en/ and click to install v14 LTS.

Edit, saw you did try to install npm. "npm" stands for node package manager, so it comes with nodejs, and the default installation options should get it up and running for you (after a restart).
Thanks, just tried that and still have the same error. Looking at the top of the of the log I think the issue is here:
Cloning into '/deemix'... fatal: could not read Username for 'https://codeberg.org': No such device or address touch: cannot touch '/deemix/updated': No such file or directory [cont-init.d] 20-download: exited 1.
Based on this file's contents, I assume it must be in one of the locations listed:
- getenv("XDG_CONFIG_HOME") + '/deemix/'
- homedata + '/.config/deemix/'

Not sure how this translates to my particular issue as I'm attempting to create a containerized program based on the python3 image
https://codeberg.org/RemixDev/deemix/src/branch/main/deemix/utils/localpaths.py
I've made a script to just install the server dependencies and run just the server.
It should fix your issues
10 September was when this happened: https://codeberg.org/RemixDev/deemix/commit/e81adde17d08d916ef8c5f98acb543a9ff626888

"Added support for embedded sync lyrics on MP3 with the SYLT tag"
do this line by line in cmd:
cd %UserProfile%\Desktop
mkdir deemix
cd deemix
git clone https://codeberg.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb.git
cd deemix-pyweb
git submodule update --init --recursive
python -m pip install -U -r requirements.txt --user
python -m pip install setuptools wheel cefpython3 --user
python deemix-pyweb.py
Hey, quick question. Hopefully that's alright.
I can't figure out where the arl
is stored. I'm trying to login to Deezer because it looks like you need to do that to add stuff to the queue.
I'm basically using the code here from deemix-pyweb. But as far as I can tell, there is no .arl
file, and the program can't find it, either.
Do you know what's going on? Is this the right way to go about this?
Edit: I can work around this issue by just manually inputting the arl
instead of reading it from a file, but the latter is preferred
>Failed for me. My guess is that your sub is letting you download FLAC. Has anyone been successful?
64-bit version can be downloaded with jdownloader
after installing jdownloader (just copy the link) and start the download
Using Deemix with Plex on a Nas, Plexamp is great !
Kodi when I'm on Tv, artist slideshow with music :3
You can use https://soundiiz.com/ to transfert ur Spotify/youtube/Tidal/anything playlists to Deezer/deemix, then get ur whole collection in a single click ;)
yep i also have a bunch of mp3's that i will "eventually" download with deemix :]
hey it looks like u can upload a text file here
I understand. I didn't realize the issue is more complex than I thought. Well, if you're open to exploring other audio taggers, I would suggest looking into MP3Tag. I've been using it myself for over a decade now. There is an initial learning curve, but the documentation is thorough, and their online forum is very helpful too. I'm about 99% sure you could accomplish what you want with a custom "Convert->Tag - Filename" template or a custom Action in MP3Tag, to affect only filenames or tags as you wish.
Can try Blur https://dnt.abine.com/
They'll ask for U.S. billing address but it can be any random NYC building on gmaps. The the bank card and number that they ask for can be from any country I think. They charge $3 for a virtual card though.
You can use "deemixgui", the repo has also been deleted but you can find an archive of the project on <strong>Wayback Machine</strong>
I advise you to simply run "server-windows.exe" then go to the browser of your choice and go to "localhost:9666".
If you want to have a real Windows application you will have to follow the "README.md" on the repo.
Sorry for my (possibly) bad English :(
It allows you to paste Spotify links in the search bar, it will then convert/find the tracks in the link and download the equivalent if available from Deezer.
And no, you don't need premium.
https://notabug.org/RemixDevs/DeezloaderRemix/wiki/Spotify+Features
because the deemix developers changed a little bit the code I'll update this tutorial accordingly
basically now it's deemix-pyweb.py instead of deemix-gui.py
git clone https://codeberg.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb.git instead of git clone https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb.git
I followed the instructions here:
https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-tools
Windows 1. Download install.bat file to your PC and place it in the folder where you want Deemix to live 2. Start the install.bat as administrator 3. Wait for it to finish, then run the start.bat
Basically go to https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix look for the download icon on the right of the page, download the zip file and extract all the files.
My guide is not up-to-date as it's based on when the app is released in May 2020. You can download the latest builds from the Telegram channel.
Ah... found it... It's the deemix core.
https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix/commit/cb4b7b6f63658671dc3757df729caa7fbce2d8ef
/u/RemixDev I think you should revert that change.
Please revert this back, that way users can steer the file permissions via UMASK (which it's supposed to be used for).
Are you running the latest version? My problem solved itself some releases ago. Nowadays I just clone the git repository of https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb and keep updating it. If that is not your thing alpha releases are delivered after each update on the telegram chanel "deemix alpha builds".
You didn't install everything properly, and the project has been split into parts so it's more modular. Deemix-tools is only one of them, and not enough to use Deemix.
Follow instructions on the main page of each repo that you want to install here.
I took a peek at the code and this seems to be the offending commit: https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb/commit/c403ee720ff2e12a81cbab588d05d264c2881561
If I start bash in the container I can curl localhost:9666.
It seems the URL is hardcoded to 127.0.0.1, which explains why we can't access it remotely: https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb/src/c403ee720ff2e12a81cbab588d05d264c2881561/deemix_gui.py#L39
You should delete that docker compose since it has your ARL token.
Apart from that: - fatal: unable to access 'https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb.git/': Could not resolve host: notabug.org,
Thats the issue. Either notabug was down during your creation, or the container has no access to the internet.
Try rebuilding, the website is up right now. If not, check if the container has access to the internet (connect to the container by portainer or interactive mode, whatever you want to and then run a ping or curl from a website. curl www.google.com for example.)
What's your platform? I don't use it on macOS, but on linux and windows it's fairly easy. If you already have the python3 modules, you just need git.
reinstall deemix via git:
git clone https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-pyweb.git cd deemix-pyweb git submodule update --init --recursive python3 server.py
and, to update (in deemix-pyweb folder)
git pull
I don't know how to solve your exact problem, however, if you would like to know How I just installed the latest version, like an hour ago.
1 - Get the install.bat from Here
2 - put it in a folder named "deemix" in your User folder.
3 - Run it as admin.
4 - Delete the "install.bat" and Take the files out into the "deemix" folder.
You will have the "pywebview" and the "webapi"
5 - Run CMD in the "deemix" folder and here are the commands you should run:
If python3 doesn't work use python.
and you should be able to run it as you had before.
"python server.py" should start the server for you to use in browser
"deemix_gui.py" for the desktop GUI.
I hope this helps.
They updated the repo and made some changes.
https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix-tools
You should follow the instructions for macOS there. It's rather easy. Let me know what kind of errors you are getting. Provide terminal screenshot too if you feel.
I know the terminal may be intimidating, but try to focus on what the error are and on what the commands you type are doing!
bruh thats an old one some features u said have it on the latest official repo(i think).. you just have to install it using the included installer called install.bat at the official repo

or try this one ive made at r/DeemixGUI run install_win_adv.bat and select number 3 to install the GUI see how to install on the subreddit for more info(this one has a "GUI" ive made, and im not forcing you to use it so choose whats good for you, im just givving you options)
https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix/raw/master/install.bat
open that, then use your webbrowsers option to save a website (for chrome just open that link and hit "Ctrl + S", that opens the save as dialog. Just save it with the .bat ending, not the proposed .txt)
Hi, it's working for me in Mojave (now i see cover art both in iTunes and Finder)
I made a pull request with your code: https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix/pulls/40
Thanks
yes, that should be fine. Please download the current install bat from the official repo and run it again. then post the content of the log.txt from the folder where your install bat is
>You don't need to install pywebview nor GTK on android.
I am referring specifically to the bash script. The manual installation method on Android still works but it generated far too many complaints of being hard to do for the layman on the original version of the guide.
> Also the notabug repo is down because we changed to codeberg.
>Are you out of the loop or you just didn't see the pinned posts
Obviously not, because I said
> Well, for one, the URL changed to this.
The last version of the script on NotABug worked perfectly on Android, while the first and most recent versions of the script do not and generate the aforementioned errors. This is all my post is referring to, due to the many comments I was getting.
I forked the repo and already made a pull request. I uploaded the google doc and altered it a bit and adjustet some translations.
If anyone want to work with me on it here is the link to my repo of it: https://codeberg.org/LineageFalcon/deemix-webui/_edit/main/src/lang/de.js
just let me know here and reply to this comment and I can add you as "employee".
Same problem

On Windows, ProtonVPN does it in a seamless way by using the MSI installer and showing a banner in the bottom of that app saying there's an update available. Its open source so you can take a look on how they do that and try to replicate it.
People use VPN because there is a lot of region locked content on Deezer. For example, to download a Japan-exclusive album, I need to have a Japanese IP address. Plus, it always good to use a VPN when you are on the internet. I've been using Ivacy for almost 2 years now for my streaming, downloading and gaming.
Most likely that VPN servers have been around longer and have been blocked especially with the increase of and exposure of Deezer scrapers. ProtonVPN is newer, so it stands to reason their IP addresses haven't been around as long to get blocked, but they will in time for sure.
