I use ProtonMail. It sends and receives encrypted mail, blocks 3rd party content from loading in your emails unless you allow it. It's free, but there are tiers for extra storage, etc.
Plus it's open source and based out of Switzerland.
Interesting idea and I feel that I am not the target audience. I pay $5/m for a cheap VPS and put my mail server domain on its public IP as RDS. This VPS forward the connections to my self histed server what can do all of the mentioned things. - Mailcow on Docker can do email really nicely and gives you contact and calendar too. Synced with Android without additional software on the client. - NextCloud is the swiss knife of self hosted stuff. Files and pictures solved. - I run pfSense on my VPS so I can easily VPN in to my network and this router can vuild up an other VPN connection to NordVPN and that way, all the connected clients shielded.
Degoogling your life is also a way to learn the tech behind the services. If you ask a new provider to handle your data, you just move the problem from one hand to an other.
Basically a "black hole" for tracking and ads. All open source, you can install on a dedicated device for your network or use in a VM.
The page shown is the admin page from where you obtain statistics and choose what to block or whitelist.
/r/pihole
I saw your other post, you stated using a VPN. Is it possible to use a separate VPN on your chromecast. This way you can segregate the VPN from the rest of your devices and google won't link them.
I'd also suggest looking into pihole, it gets rid the majority of ads. /r/pihole and https://pi-hole.net/ You don't need a pi for it but can set it up over a VM, just make sure to set it to the DNS for your VPN.
I'm not willing to part ways with Apple macOS and Android.
I tried to learn how to use Fedora OS, but after watching hours of tutorial videos and reading pages of documentation, I came to the conclusion Fedora OS and Linux-based operating systems in general aren't for me. They're just too far above my level of understanding.
I attempted to install LineageOS on my old Android HTC-One, but I have the Verizon version of the phone, which apparently requires an expensive third-party tool for the installation process. I'm not going to spend money on something that might not even work, and I'm definitely not going to risk bricking my active HTC-One M8.
Aside from macOS and Android, I have been successfully de-Googled for a few months. I replaced Chrome, Google Search, and Gmail with Brave, DuckDuckGo, and ProtonMail, respectively. Awhile back, I switched Skype and BitTorrent for Discord and Deluge. Recently, I resubscribed to my VPN provider, CyberGhost VPN.
> Web is the web browser for the GNOME desktop and for elementary OS, based on the popular WebKit engine. It offers a simple, clean, beautiful view of the web featuring first-class GNOME and Pantheon desktop integration. Its code name is Epiphany.
You may install Web from the software repositories of most Linux operating systems, where it is normally packaged as "epiphany-browser" or "epiphany".
Do you do group chats?
Signal and wire would work for this. Signal uses your phone number to ID you and can be installed from GP store (easy for your friends) and can also be used for regular text messges then you could also download the app for your computer Linux/Mac/windows and have the conversation crossover just like hangouts.
Wire is very similar, available in the GP store, has Linux/windows/Mac/web app but does not use your phone number. You create a user ID and use that to contact all your friends. One did have better group support the last i heard but i can't exactly recall which, i will look if up and edit this post shortly.

But take a look into signal and wire, they should fit your criteria and choose whichever feels more comfortable. Hopefully they won't mind switching.
I may have found an excellent option. I kept hearing about mailbox.org and posteo. Both are virtually identical except that mailbox allows for your own domain. Price is good. Nice options - calendar, basic office type apps, cloud, etc. Also it seems to be secure.
As you may find reading through this sub there are several solutions to replace most of the services Google offers. But if you're looking for a, privacy friendly, cloud account that has a similar email+doc suite you could like mailbox.org.
On a different note moving from Google to Bing might not be ideal, but I'd rather look into duckduckgo
Android app hosted in Gplay(Aurora/Yalp) store and luckily F-Droid
