Character figurines or mini-statues are always a solid choice. They're not necessarily expensive and they come in many different sizes, and with Vegeta being a main character there's PLENTY of cool figures of him to choose from.
Here is a specific personal recommendation.
Update:The amazon description of the Final Chapters bluray says:
In contrast, the original Kai Bluray descriptions says:
"1.78:1" is cinematography-speak for 16:9 and "1.33:1" is 4:3.This doesn't bode well... I suppose I may never get the full definitive DBZ Kai I want. :((My gf hasn't seen the Buu arc and wants to catch up to super since I've been gushing about it. We were gonna watch in bed on my CRT for the nostalgia like when I had her watch the original Kai to refresh her memory, but I suppose that dream is dead and it's either couch and HDTV or CRT with Letterboxing. Rip the nostalgia dream.)
Sounds like you're talking about Dragon Ball Z: An Unauthorized Guide, by Lois and Danny Gresh.
I wrote a scathing review of it back in 2008. But I'm glad you were able to enjoy it. :)
Dragon Ball Z has a lot of filler. You could watch Dragon ball Kai which is z but without fillers. Or you read the Manga. That would be possible with the official Shueisha App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.shueisha.mangaplus
Or you buy the new extreme volumes which includes 3 of the original mangas (or so)
That has been debunked. And SSBE Vegeta was not stronger than Moro arc UIO Goku. Vegeta only “outdone” Goku in a sense where he is able to defeat an enemy that Goku can’t. Based on Goku’s actual fight with Moro, Goku did better. Vegeta only beat Moro because every time he hit Moro, he took his strength away.
Jiren only went max power against UI Goku. Not UIO. Nice job using headcanon...
Stuff like that happens all the time in Dragon Ball. In fact, ToP MUI Goku being inferior to UIO in the Moro arc has already been debunked. Despite them not being able to keep up at first, they were then able to keep up later on during the fight. Nice reach.
“Damaged a suppressed Jiren”. Key word: SUPPRESSED. SSJ2 and SSB Vegeta damaged SUPPRESSED Beerus. Yet stands no chance if Beerus powers up more. Stop using their suppressed power to scale them. It’s ignorant.
Repeating an argument that I’ve already debunked isn’t getting you anywhere. All you’re saying is that Vegeta damaged a suppressed Jiren. This has nothing to do with Jiren’s max power. lol.
Notice how #1 has #17 on the back of gokus jacket. toriyama numbered every cover
I mean, there’s figures of Vegeta breaking down over his inferiority to Freeza, too, and that’s still taken seriously in-universe by the other characters.
This one even vibrates! You know, to simulate the shaking and crying part.
These sets, the most recent release (in North America anyway, not sure where you're hailing from). The footage is the same as on the big fancy 30th Anniversary complete series set, which isn't perfect (still a tiny bit of needless DVNR), but it's perfectly watchable and faaaaar better than the orange bricks and not cropped to 16:9 like the prior blu-ray sets. It's the best retail release currently available.
For god sake they upd the price back up but they keep changing it,keep an eye on this listing https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Ball-Complete-Box-Set/dp/1974708713/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=dragon+ball+manga+box+set&qid=1617048934&sr=8-1
Be sure you're looking for season 2 rather than "part 2". They're different things, and the latter is out of print. The former should be easy enough to find, though; idk if you would consider this to be "extortionate".
They're super easy to buy on Amazon JP! Here's the first Kanzenban and all the rest will show up in related. There's even an English setting for the whole site to make it easier to browse. Global shipping is not exactly cheap right now but you're not likely to find a better deal than Amazon.
Digital is very hard to pull off. The Kindle Store and other similar services (like iBooks) all require you to choose a region, and you'll usually be blocked from purchasing digital Japanese books.
I don't know what region you live in, but if you're looking for a North American or NTSC/Region-1 release, then the remastered "blue brick" DVD sets are the overall best option currently available. The original DB series hasn't been made available on Blu-ray anywhere yet that I'm aware of.
I think this might interest you:
As for Yamcha, I don't really hate him but I do dislike him just a bit because I feel like he is cocky to the point it gets him killed. Goku's like that too, by the way, just being unbothered by anything - leaving himself susceptible to attacks. Triggers the shit out of me - when Beerus pointed that out I was like "THANK YOU!"
The dvd/blu -ray is releasing soon: https://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Super-Part-Blu-ray/dp/B071RGX65G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499535058&sr=8-1&keywords=dragon+ball+super
but this is only a handful of episodes, and not even the full BoG arc. They have the subs on the funimation site and chrunchyroll yet no love for the dub.
This sub turned me on to these. I haven't bought any but I have my eye on them.

Just search for 'Banpresto Master Stars Piece' .
Looks like this figure, and a custom base/lamp:
