Don't buy those. They're overpriced and will perform like shit.
Myself, I put in LED bulbs that match the filament location of the factory halogens and they work great.
They are OEM for these: https://headlightrevolution.com/s-v-4-led-h11-h16-bulbs/
The Shark fin antenna I ended up buying was the 20$ Possbay one on amazon that specifically says "Does not fit ford fusion" and it went on no problem lmao
I use an oil pump that I got for $20 on Amazon. I made my own fitting with a cut piece from sippy cup straw. Its very easy to DIY if the person is not clueless.
Wow, they ever hear of Amazon? Can buy something like this.

Of course, if you read about the filler neck, I think I read, it’s about impossible to get a hose down into the tank.
Another little thing--I bought these for the armrests:
Vesul Armrest Container Door Storage Box
They transform the armrest handles into little storage pockets. Funny enough, mine said Mondeo (Ford's midsize offering in Europe), but that lettering is so deep in the pocket you won't see it unless you look closely.
I also bought silicone rubber key fob covers for our keys to protect them from getting beat up. You have to buy new ones every few years as they stretch / get worn out.
You might want to update the navigation maps as road construction will cause them to become outdated (though some folks just like to use their phone).
My car has floor liners which are okay and a rubberized trunk liner with a lip that's pretty nice. The problem with the floor liners is that the WeatherTech versions leave a sizable rectangular piece of carpet exposed. I sort of hacked together a workaround but I'm not crazy about it.
Edit: moved post to right location in thread
Just say NO to halogen. I mean, that's what's in the car already, and they are *terrible*. HID is a nightmare to install (respectively); so go LED. I can't speak for the first sealight you linked, but FUCK NO to the second one. That type of chip arrangement is atrocious for reflector/projector focus. You'll 9/10 times have worse output than the OE halogen bulbs. ALWAYS get an LED that has as a light emmitence point as close to the location of the halogen filament. The first one *looks* about right; but you can't tell until you've held one up/measured directly against a halogen. I use these which are very similar in design, and know they match a halogen almost perfectly.
Just.... don't get those second ones. In fact, you use the same bulb on both the low and fogs.
I used the Sylvania version of those Philips bulbs. They work fine. I know a number of the COB (Chip On Board) style lights don't last long, but those Sealight 168/194s you linked look like one of the better designs. Probably can't go wrong with either one.
Edit: Oh, and also, I already hate the first two you linked solely because the fake marketing... Halogen are NOT HIDs...... Not even in the same ballpark. All they did was tint them more blue, so they aren't the softer yellow/white of a normal halogen.
I don’t know if you can wait a day or two for something like this but if you can then do it because these will be a life saver. They make taking apart the trim very easy and simple without too much worry about messing anything up

If you really wanna get it done today then Autozone or maybe Orilies would have something similar
Snow tires are optional, at least with people who are used to driving in snow or icy climates. Otherwise, the majority of people just use all-season tires on their cars year-round. I don't know anyone that has "snow tires" and I'm in Ohio (same climate as Indiana). If you put snow tires on, you can use them year-round if you want. You'll get poorer gas mileage and they'll be noisy and not as smooth or nice-riding, but you can use them.
Holy shit those grilles are expensive. I'm assuming they're made of ABS? You can find similar ones on amazon/ebay for just around $100 also made of ABS. Even T-Rex has a similar one made of powder coated mild steel for less than yours at $400 that requires TIG welding.
This is the one I got recently:

Still trying out my lightbulb situation because my mechanic got it all angled weird (but I bought 4 led h9/h11 bulbs)
It's the bulbs they put in the projectors. They're fucking terrible. Fusion 13+ stock projectors actually do VERY well with HID bulbs as they focus very well. Ford seems to have engineered projectors meant for HID but then put in halogen as cost cutting and it all sucks.
Myself, I put in LED bulbs that match the filament location of the factory halogens and they work great.
They are OEM for these: https://headlightrevolution.com/s-v-4-led-h11-h16-bulbs/
Is the screen the 8” Sync screen? If so, I bought two of these and they have worked great and are pretty cheap.
Hey thanks man! here's the link for 2013-2020 ford fusion rain guards, they work very well and i installed them in about 10 minutes.

Not sure on the harness yet. Haven't had the time to crawl underneath to see if there is dormant wiring already there.
As far as the lights, I've only seen these so far: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088JZB2ZV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_RSXA8RCND3MAKB9D3C1M?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I used one of these and it got the job done just fine. Hardest part was keeping the wheel well cover out of the way:
Very easy. If you have a laptop download Forscan. You’ll need a OBD2 adapter. I use this then if you go to 2gfusions there is a thread with a google doc that has a walk through and the information you need to change. It’s fairly simple just seems complex.
Both L2.
High beams are something else. The curvature of the lamp housing made it so most LED bulbs won't fit because there is not enough depth to get the bulb into the socket. I've heard of some lower profile ones coming (came?) out that don't have such a large heatsink/fan on the back; but I just left the halogen ones from the factory in there. You could replace them with something closer to the 6000k temp, like the Philips CrystalVision or the Diamond Vision ones you originally linked; if you're just after making them as close as possible to matching color.
I did see this style for some LEDs, but I can't tell you how good they are.
I got you. 3M 1080 Black Gloss Vinyl... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071W9BN6W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I recommend 3 rolls. Could do it in two. But 3 gives you leeway for mistakes. It’s annoying but worth it. I got some little bubbles here and there. You’ll need other stuff like anti static gloves and xacto knife and a blow dryer
Used these in a 2016, Fusion, low beams only. The thin allowed them to fit into the housing.

You could then use LED replacement bulbs instead of Halogen.
I went LED in our 2016 Fusion, they are designed for the projector and thin line housing. Daughter hasn’t complained since I upgraded from the factory halogen. Once you go with LED lights, can’t go back to halogen.
Her lights are as bright and focused as my 2017, with the factory LED lights. I didn’t need the resisters and they fit into the sealed housing.
From what I read, the power requirements for going HID, makes them difficult to get installed.

I used my own LEDs at first and it wasn’t bright enough. Then moved on to some custom ones with about 20 LEDs in them and they weren’t as expected.
These are the brightest I have seen and they work awesome.
I now have them in my Explorer and you can see the difference between stock and the Dorman. The pictures are taken during the day in my garage.
I have one like this and love it. Covers all of the window and easily hides under the back of the passenger seat when not in use.
Press the Home button on the touchscreen so you have the 4-panel view. In the top-right area, does it say "Insert SD Card"? If so, you have the Navigation option, and just need to procure a nav database card. (Amazon has it, among other places.) If it doesn't say that (I think it'll just say "Information" instead), then the car doesn't have Nav, and I don't believe it can be added after the fact.
For what it's worth, if I had to do it all over again, I'd have saved the $795. The integration into the car is really nice, but it's not worth the money.
I ordered mine off amazon. Sorry for typo- should have been afe dry filter. Here's the link:

Install takes 30 seconds. Let me know what you think, it's a small small world of sport owners!!

I bought one after the last cheap filter did a shit job at filtering odors after just 3 months... this one is year old and still no odors \o/
Recommend seeing if anyone can do these for you. Took me a while to change the bulb, there’s no wiggle room to remove it or place the new one in
I installed these on my 2015 fusion se a while ago and they are holding up pretty well. Very bright and it has a fan in it ig for heat dissipation. I had to take my front bumber off and the headlights out to put these LED's in.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTJPF90/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZV0gFbT80ATB3 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N01QE3S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RW0gFbZ8DJDM7
I have a '16 that I installed LEDs in. I went with these, although I think there is a newer revision for 2020. Whatever you do, stick to this style, where the LED array is positioned in the correct location for the reflectors and projection lenses. Don't be that douche installing the wrong kind of lights and blinding everyone else (plus actually outputting LESS useable light than the OG halogens...)
Leave the high beams as is, because the headlamp casing makes getting an LED bulb pretty impossible to fit because the fan/heatsinks won't let you get the right angle to install it.
While in there, I also replaced the parking lights with some LEDs as well. Might as well, since you're in there already. They are just small, easily found, replacement bulbs.
I would recommend these brakes Power Stop K6559 Rear Z23 Evolution Brake Kit with Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Ceramic Brake Pads https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AGBQZYM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_9l9FCb0XAF7KQ
I've always liked power stop and they've never failed me.
You can get the tool if you want, but it's not necessary, using the old pads and a screwdriver is fine.
Basically, you take off the caliper, and with the old pads still in there, you wedge a screwdriver, against the old pads, and push the piston back.
Another pain free way is to use a c-clamp, also with the old pad in there and some sort of cushion on the outside of the piston.
I went with springs only, specifically the Eibach Pro-Kit, lowers it about 1.6 inches all around. You are in luck, they are having a sale. https://eibach.com/us/i-2278-pro-kit-performance-springs-set-of-4-springs.html
As for shocks, if you wanted to replace them at the same time, Bilsteins supposedly work well with lowering. https://www.amazon.com/Bilstein-24-102582-Monotube-Shock-Absorber/dp/B009FU62IU/ref=pd_bxgy_263_img_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B009FU62IU&pd_rd_r=206674ab-b659-11e8-bcdb-932140fb8169&pd_rd_w=KShUv&pd_rd_wg=E6gCq&pf_rd_i=desktop-d...
Coil overs where few and far between, and the prices usually started around 1300.
I didn't look much into this option as I had already received the springs, but search Ford Mondeo accessories / mods. It's the international version of the US Fusion, however the Mondeo has a larger after market scene so I'm sure some digging could really reveal some options.
That should get you in the right direction, but for if it's the same size
Had mine replaced last week. Total cost, $50, but that includes a new filter wrench since my old one broke. Labor cost was pretty cheap, I taught my friend's 13 yr old daughter how to do it. Ding Dong the witch is dead
On the flip side today, I got a blowout after hitting a pot hole. Drove a mile on the flat, plus state inspection and replacing rear brakes. That is setting me back $1070. Getting run flat tires. I was going to teach her how to do the brakes, but the guy came back $100 lower on the price. Which leaves about $100 in labor. A bit much, but at least I don't have to go back and get it reinspected.
just use these to remove the pins for the 3 push pins on the fender liner on each wheel. regular screws for the top. let the bumper cover hang down, use torx bits for the bolts on the headlight assembly itself.
for the fog lights, you can just twist and remove since you already have the bumper cover hanging down. its actually relatively quick and easy to do
I just put them in 2 nights ago and I love them so far. Not overbearingly bright. For the price not bad at all but I was expecting more brightness consider the lumens it outputs. Considering the effort it takes to put them in, I may have just spent the extra 20-30 bucks on higher end ones, like Hikari 20k or something with good rep in the same price range like these Katanas
I've done much more than 200 miles a couple of times.
I bought mine in 2019, and they aren't Auxito. But the same basic design and most use of the shelf LED drivers, so heat output is pretty much the same.
Yes, it is possible to get it to work wirelessly, but you have to plug an aftermarket adapter thingy into the USB outlet instead.
I got this one on Amazon, been using it 6 mos. PITA to set up, but once it’s work it’s fantastic. I is also a big PITA if you change the phone often (husband often drives my car) so we’ve learned to take a couple mins extra before leaving if you have to switch which phone it is going to use for car play. It will not ask which one you want to use. It will just ALWAYS connect to the last one used. So the personal whose phone you don’t want to use needs to turn off Bluetooth before you get in the car in order to get it to forcibly switch to the other one. It’s a minor inconvenience for the convenience of not having to always plug in the phone, which really is a crappy user experience, honestly.
Forscan themselves recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-EX-FORScan-OBD-Adapter/dp/B081VQVD3F and this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094Z7PBLS
I have the OBDLink and it's been solid.
change to a lower power LED headlight. I had this issue so I just changed low beams and fog lights all to the same bulb and havent had an issue since.

these are the ones I use. both headlight and fog lights are H11
I have a set of black center covers (sold for trailer use) that are on their way now. I will report back on them once I try them out.

I have hated the hideous, fragile stock covers on my 2010 since the day I got the car, and one of them got completely wrecked when I was sideswiped anyway. So instead of the 3-damaged-covers shabby look, I'm hoping for a better vibe with the steelie-plus-center-cover look. If I like it I'll probably look for some center logos. I'm also considering painting the centers body color (Sangria Red.) TBD. All I know is the stock covers have GOT to go.
These are the ones I have coming:
I’m looking for a bike and plan to get these
My cousin used a trunk mount on her Jetta and it bent her trunk lid. I also don’t want a hitch on my car, I think it looks silly lol. My Genesis Coupe came with one and I uninstalled it myself, it just looks out of place on a “sports” car.
I recommend a USB - ODBII device and a copy of ForScan. The free version can view codes, and you get a lot more out of it over time.
You need MS and HS/CAN support and want a device with a real ELM327 chip, which there are a lot of fakes out there. I've had this one since 2019, so I know that it's got a real ELM327 chip, and works with all the functions we need.
I bought these back in 2019. There are updated versions now that have an even better alignment match to halogen bulbs, but they've been solid and properly focus in the housings.
I use these in my '16, assuming you have a 2nd gen ('13+). Open the trunk, there's a clip you use a screwdriver on to pop the module out, then just swap the bulbs. All the auto part stores carry this bulb too.
BTW, same bulb is used for the trunk light (almost the same housing module too!) so while you're in there, you could swap the weak sauce light that the car came with and actually SEE into the trunk at night .;P
Yup. Clean it out, spray with this: https://www.amazon.com/Kiwi-Performance-Fabric-Protector-Ounce/dp/B07MTQ2FGY
Then with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002JM8HM
If that doesn't work, you are gonna need a mechanic to look at it. Probably just need a new motor or the scissor arms lubed.. or both.
You need to change the internal usb hub. It pops out. You just take it out and have it replaced. It took me 3 months to find out what the issue was. Heres a link: https://www.amazon.com/Interface-Upgrade-Dual-Compatible-Lincoln-Hc3z-19a387/dp/B09795VLCH
Not sure if your still looking but I recently did my car too, I found this and it looks pretty decent for touch up... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001H1ME8W?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Yes.. let me find a link to it exactly. I got it on eBay. Probably not the wisest decision there but, eBay
I am thinking about just doing a return and ordering the 200 dollar one from bestycar here https://www.amazon.com/Bestycar-Conversion-Harness-Upgrade-Interface/dp/B07X28D77X/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=24LHZZNTI7XA7&keywords=ford+fusion+sync+1+to+3+harness&qid=1660102496&sprefix=ford+fusion+sync+1+to+3+harness%2Caps%2C73&sr=8-3
There are "adapters" that make it wireless. We have a Carlinkit in my wife's Fusion and it works great (once setup). It can be real finicky when you want to add a new phone but that's not a daily thing....
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WW2M1XQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got these almost 2 years ago now for $35 and they've held up pretty well. Tiny bit of rust and rounding on some, but nothing bad. I can still take them on and off easily as I'm diligent about rotating my tires.
The existing one's p/n is likely just a starting point. It's entirely possible Ford has superseded that part more than once. Usually if you input a p/n on a Ford parts website, it will tell you the current p/n.
Hmmm, Googling that p/n ... that appears to be far more than just the spark plug wiring harness (for all 4 cylinders). Not telling you what to do, but you probably don't want to go that deep into replacement.
https://www.amazon.ca/Engine-Wiring-Harness-Focus-12C508/dp/B079P2JJF7
There are a lot of LED headlamp designs. The housing doesn't really care, HOWEVER, the issue is that the housing is a series of focused reflectors (or series of projection lenses). Much like a camera, if the light isn't in the proper location or distance from the focus point, it'll splay light all over and not in a directed beam. Thus, you get worse output, glare, and people on the other side of the road that want to murder you.
What you need to make sure of is that the bulb has the LEDs in the correct position relative to a halogen bulb; so that the light emittance point is where the focus is. There's also legal limitations to things like lumen output, etc.
For example, These are shit.
These are what you're looking for*
*Note, I just picked on for an example so you can see the difference, I haven't looked to see if these are 1:1 with a halogen, but at least you get the idea. I used the older model of these, and they've been spot on, but that was also back in 2019, and they've made some design changes to LED bulbs since then.
I'd also recommend looking at 6000-6800k color temps. Anything above that is too blue and illegal in a number of areas, plus really annoying and reduce the light output in most cases.
Why best buy? I don't recall ever seeing any EVSE's there. I mean, if your's does, then so be it. Nothing wrong with that.
The process should be the same...3 or 4 clips in each fender well, the clips and 2 torx bolts under the hood in the middle and just yank the bumper cover forward.
I just had to replace a blown low beam on my 2015. Didn't have to totally remove the bumper cover. It was enough space afterwards to pull the headlight forward and replace the bulbs.
I went with these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U1OL356?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

There's no wireless option using Ford hardware. You can buy an adapter that you tuck away in the center armrest console (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TLZYFBB/). I have that one and it does the job.
You need to replace the APIM module in order to get navigation. I wouldn't bother - use Apple CarPlay and Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps, etc. I upgraded our 2014 Fusion (Sync 2) to Sync 3 and made no effort to go the built-in navigation route and don't regret it either.
It's all BS. Do the brake fluid bleed and replacement yourself or at a cheaper place. Battery service? Just look at the battery. Do you see corrosion build up? If so, then you can get a cheap metal brush, a can of terminal cleaner, and clean it up yourself. Spray it with a protectant. Intake induction? Lmao. You can do Techron in your fuel, or do this kit even though it's completely unnecessary at your mileage.

I have a 2019 Hybrid and this happens every 6-8 months. The 12V battery will be completely dead and I will need to jump it. My solution was getting this:
It is small and I can keep it in the back seat. While the vehicle was under CPO, I took it in but they were unable to figure it out. I do need to top off the start battery every 2 months.
Anyway the vehicle is no longer under warranty so I am not taking it back. I keep the Sync system updated but this has happened 3-4 times in the 2 years I have owned it.
Thank you for posting this. It is good to know I am not alone lol

I plastidipped my grill and lower grill with gloss black but wasn't a fan of how it looked with my magnetic body paint. I thought it looked like a gaping black hole when seen head on and decided to stick with the chrome since you can see the slats regardless of what angle/distance you're looking at it.
If I were to do a black grill then I'd go with the honeycomb since it's pretty cheap and definitely changes the look of the car. But if money wasn't a concern then I'd definitely go with the V slat grill. Of course if you're gonna do the V grill then mustang headlights ($650+) are a must to complete the look. Sadly I'm on a tight budget otherwise that's what I would be rocking right now. https://www.ebay.com/itm/403505792309?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28

I'm specifically looking at these 2 bulbs for the fogs.
I'd like to keep all the LEDs the same color for uniformity if there's no huge difference between white and yellow for foglights. It looks like the yellow clashes badly with white headlights.
I've been using the official Viofo 3-wire hardwire kit (HK3) for near 3 years:
https://www.amazon.com/VIOFO-Hardwire-Enables-Parking-Protection/dp/B07KZGM9LS
You may want a few other bits and pieces to make the install as elegant and easy as possible. For example, I used so-called piggyback fuse holders, to connect to the always-on and switched fuses in my car's fuse panel.
I believe parking mode works on the A129, I just don't use it because I am typically parked where I don't have a concern of the car being run into or vandalized.
I have never had my battery run down while using the HK3 hardwire kit. Used it in 2 different cars, including the Fusion.
Hope this helps.
The dashcamtalk.com forums are helpful for this sort of thing, if you have more questions.
I’m using this in a 2017; yes, I lose a cup holder, but it prevents sticking to dash -

The Ford yellow coolant isn't so much more expensive that I would use a third-party coolant. Ford states that you can top-off orange coolant with this the yellow coolant.

Yeah i just got the car this weekend so haven't done anything to it yet. I got my forscan module in the mail today though so gonna get started on that and see how I feel about sync2.
I'm coming from an 07' RDX where i never even used the display because it was so outdated and the maps were useless so sync2 already feels like a massive update to me anyways lol 😂
I saw a kit on Amazon for $699 sync 3 upgrade
Any idea if that's legit or am I better off gathering parts from a junkyard?
I replaced mine with 6000k LED by dorman. They're on Amazon.
I saw other aftermarket ones that had Ford or Mustang logos, etc, but IMO only the Dorman's fit correctly because there is a harness connector right above the light and most don't have the cutout for that to fit.
LED. HID just isn't worth it. That's a LOT of rewiring to install the ballasts and relays. A good LED light that has a proper light emmitance point so it projects correctly is pretty twist and go.
Do understand that to do the headlights, you will need to remove the front bumper though. It's not accessible from the engine compartment.
People go DURRRHERRBURRRRRRR BRIGHT LED! Without considering things like legal lumen output limits, point source emission and how that affects the focal point from the reflectors and lens.
In fact, often, because they don't focus the light correctly, can be DIMMER than the halogens they replaced.
You want something more like these, you'll notice how the LEDs are positioned where the filament would be in a halogen bulb.
Also, make sure you install them in the right orientation, it's easy to get them turned 90degrees, then the light is up in the trees instead of off to the side.
I would recommend 6000k to 6500k temp lights, as they will closely match all the other LED lights on the car, like the domes.

I got some HIKARI UltraFocus: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077BT6M6Z/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_G9GNXXTK3T54QY7YPXE5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They turned on no problem, but then I noticed that the driver's side one was not working for daylight running light. Contacted them and they suggested I use some resistor. I got some and installed one on that side with some heat sinks because they tend to get hot.
After that they have been working great for daylight running and at night while fully on.

Looks to be this one

I do like the front but the overhanging canards on the sides might look a bit silly. I think it would look really good if you were committed to the bodywork and did something like the SS-Tuning wide body kit with some spaced wheels.

Well worth the effort.
You want one that has the CAN switch, for Fords, and has the wired connection for use with FORSCAN (computer program).

I remember searching up some aftermarket lug nuts with the shoulder on them to hold the wheel covers on ebay and amazon, but they were as expensive as the OEM ones (and unfortunately capped like the OEM ones which will eventually bulge and be a nightmare).
edit: I just looked some up again and amazon sells these in canada and usa, they look like the right ones and have the correct threads:
So are you not able to compress it far enough for the new pads? I'm not sure if the piston would ever be flush or not on these in-particular but unless the boot is torn, it's unlikely that there should be anything stopping it. Those cube multi-tools can work okay but the "right" tool is a wind back tool like this: https://www.amazon.com/8MILELAKE-Brake-Caliper-Wind-Professional/dp/B0122Q83T4
I got this one and it looks great. Color-matched too.

I would put something like this https://www.amazon.com/DampRid-Moist-10-5OZ-Pure-Linen/dp/B07V4N8ZW7/ref=sr_1_10 in the back and change often.
