Its a great supplemental if you are getting started. The classes are super condensed and are centered around web development. Many people have received jobs out of the program both from direct hire and indirect/part time work at the end of it. Its not guaranteed mind but if you are just starting out, it will help you out.
If you are looking for more of a slow burn, I would recommend Fresno City as they are around the same price, but slower pace. You also get college credit that might turn into something like an IS/CS degree.
If you are looking to dip your toes in, might I suggest FreeCodeCamp? It starts you out with some exercises that help build your first websites. Its also very strong on the fundamentals later on!
Hope that helps!
Have you seen the district map? This area is so heavily gerrymandered its ridiculous. Stretches all the way across north fresno, all of clovis, and rural areas....um what
First, every ISP sucks. They all just suck different ways. Moving on....
Had Comcast and switched to AT&T Fiber in February. I'm in the Tower District.
Just tested (at 4:50pm) at 329.83Mbps down and 171.97Mbps up, 17ms latency. (speedof.me).
That seems about average for me.
Had one problem right after installation (like the next day); one of the fiber connections hadn't been made well by the tech and the connection went out; they fixed it the next day. Haven't had problems since.
Unlimited data use is awesome.
I’m wondering if there’s an error in their calculator. Seems insanely high jump.
Edit- if you look at shaver they have those 3 days at over 3000. Something is wrong with the way accuweather site is calculating it. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/fresno/93702/air-quality-index/327144

OP, bruh, as if we didn’t already see that lmao, we’re saying it’s wrong, not that it isn’t real!
Most of the time we go over exercises in https://www.freecodecamp.org/
Once in a while, we have guest speakers in the industry talk about their preferred stack. This time around, we will be discussing a potential upcoming project and do a couple of FreeCodeCamp exercises.
I was looking at some recently on Newegg and Amazon for about 1k but had second thoughts after the recent heat wave. Just use there in site search for '150cc scooter'. They did specify "street legal".
E.g. https://www.amazon.com/TaoTao-LANCER-150-Street-Legal-Scooter/dp/B00J4TW2SQ
I looked it up:
iOS - https://itunes.apple.com/app/id979642692
Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.aclu.mobile.justice.ca
I don't know if it starts recording immediately when the app is opened, or streams it to an off-site location, though. This might just be a tool for recording regularly and submitting the video to the ACLU. There might be better options.
If you just want to explore places; I will recommend to visit Simonian Farms in the corner of Jensen Ave and Clovis Ave. Is a really cool place to visit, a lot of tourism that go to the Sequoia National Park stop there for souvenirs and goodies. You can also visit Forestiere Underground Gardens is like 12 dollars to get in but is worth it. He re is a link of things to do in Fresno, not a lot but you can kill some time.
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g32414-Activities-Fresno_California.html
Yup, just bought me a pair. Here's the link for anyone interested Tickets. I've always wanted to go to one of these but more to a Final Fantasy one.
I updated the subreddit post with a link I just confirmed doesn't trigger Chrome's malware warning. Here it is for convenience though.
I'm not sure how long it will last on filedropper but it should get me by until I set up something more permanent and less prone to issues.
Check out this trail on AllTrails. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/san-joaquin-river-gorge-trail
The drive there is beautiful but my cell phone lost service once we drove into the park. Make noise the last time I was there a group of women said the saw a mountain lion cross the trail going away from them.

You can always join and participate in Amazon's Mechanical Turk Marketplace. It won't pay all of your bills but spending 1-2 hours a day during downtime completing simple internet based tasks (HITs) can earn you up to $200 a month.
The trick is finding the tasks that are worth your time, many are not. Average is around $5 an hour if you're getting decent HITs. I work freelance and the extra money I get from working HITs when I'd otherwise be wasting time on the internet certainly comes in handy. You can sign up here
Finding out which tasks are worth your time is made simple by participating over at /r/hitsworthturkingfor You can learn a lot more about the program and how to earn money from this sub and the other resources listed in the sidebar.
I like this site: https://www.sfchronicle.com/projects/california-air-quality-map/ you can see smoke forecast and current air quality, as well as wind patterns.
On my phone I use an app called smog map https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boolint.finedustmap&hl=en_US&gl=US
The price of wood has really gone up, 3 or 4 times what it was a year ago. A project like this would cost at least $300 just for the supplies, not labor:
https://sunshineandrainydays.com/diy-photo-backdrop-wall-on-wheels/
They have vinyl ones for around $30-40 on Amazon:
LYWYGG 7x5ft Thin Vinyl Brown Wood Backdrop Photographers Retro Wood Wall Background Cloth Seamless CP-19 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DF97L7M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_27V8JMM9FPGX9KJNX1G5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Get this and do it yourself. Pretty simple
Good job.... but now, go order a pack of these.
You might as well change them all while you're at it.
If you want a nice easy hike with beautiful scenery, check out the Pa'san Ridge Trail near Auberry. It's a short drive and well worth it. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/ya-gub-weh-tuh-pa-san-ridge-trail
Seems so. Do you know if simply attaching a wifi antenna and then switching the communication mode to wifi, and entering network info would work?
I would encourage Grant Grove, but according to Google Maps Mariposa Grove in Yosemite is about the same distance.
You'll probably catch less crowds at Grant.
PLEASE monitor the weather though. They don't plow the roads during snowstorms, only afterwards.
The good news is that at this moment the hourly forecast for snow in Grant Grove Village is not supposed to start until 2pm. Assuming the weather doesn't freak out, I think you'll slide in and out.
Check the weather in the morning to get a better idea:
https://weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/Grant+Grove+Village+USCA2884:27:US
Also, it's going to be right around freezing. Bring a coat!
Say hi to the Grant tree for me!
A book by a local author that I really liked is called Faces in the Fog by Stephen Hagy. I got this book about eight years ago and it has collection of short stories that are rather amusing and creative, in my opinion.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1595942297/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=
Also there is a book called the Talents of Bet by Steven Hammond. (Wow, so many Steve’s 😸). I met this author and purchased the book but I have not read it yet. It is a sci-fi book and it seems to be really good when I peeked inside!
https://www.amazon.com/Talents-Bet-Staffs-Omia-Book-ebook/dp/B07688C5J9
My book is called Vicious Cycles under the pen name Pandora X, which is a collection of more than 50 poems and writings inspired by my experience with a toxic muse. Highs, lows and lessons learned.
I love writing of all types, especially persuasive, investigative, technical, instructional. I even do a bit of writing projects for individuals and businesses. But poetry and evocative writing are my favorite! I love expressing my feelings, experiences and my prayers through written verse.
My favorite type of reading used to be fiction. Loved Anne Rice and Stephen King. Now I lean toward poetry, philosophy, and non-fiction. Khalil Gibran, historical and sacred texts, inspirational. Excited to see what other authors are out here!
If you are interested in my book, I am thrilled to share! It is available on Amazon and half price right now 😻https://www.amazon.com/Vicious-Cycles-Poetry-Musings-Pandora/dp/B095Q5Z4TZ
I have a similar one and it's great. It's easy to install under the sink, if you're renting I'm sure there's some way to set up the spout under the sink instead of drilling

If you have a spigot for the fridge supply it is pretty easy to install. Convenient. At 50 cents a gallon that is 40 5 gallon jugs.
There's a lot of books about Fresno and its history. For starters and easy reading I would suggest Valley Legends and Legacies by Catherine Morison Rehart.
If you're interested in other titles --- just let me know.
I use this as a thermostat.
Inkbird WiFi ITC-308 Digital... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PVBG8K1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The app lets me set up schedules but it doesn't really play well with Google assistant. It did for a while last year but stopped playing well. Still the scheduled using it like a whole house fan dropping the temperature as low as possible really works out.
Setup a camera that records 24/7. Get it as close to the street as possible and about waist height to get the best chance of getting plates.

You'll need a micro SD card and you can set it up with a cellphone battery pack if you have to.
I have used a similar device to this thing- just put it up on the side of your house closest to the barking dog.
If that’s what they call clean they ought to be ashamed. It’s hard to tell of the black is black mold by the photo, but it looks like it is to me.
HVAC Guys - Foam Blaster (18oz.) - Penetrating Coil Cleaner - For AC and Refrigeration Units - Clean and Deodorize Evaporator (No-Rinse) & Condenser Coils - Neutral Citrus Scent https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZJYPD3Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7CCWH8W34GGB9G10BTP4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You can get that and clean it yourself since you have access to the coil. Spray it and use an old toothbrush to clean the coil and the pan. I hate to recommend doing it yourself when your building maintenance should be doing it. If you do choose to clean it yourself please be extremely careful in case it is black mold. I lived in a place that had black mold, bad, above the ceiling that I didn’t know about. That shit doesn’t fuck around.
train your neighbor's dog for them ...over the fence, hit the dog with Ultrasonic Sound every time it Barks, not sure if it works because i never have done it but Amazon might be able to help ;)
just a quick example below. you should do a better search for a top quality reviewed item:
Anti Barking Device, Outdoor Bark Control Device, Ultrasonic Stop Dog Bark Deterrents with Adjustable Ultrasonic Level Control Sonic Bark Deterrents, Range Safe for Dogs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N6XTNPC/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GTHK2H68J3MPKX154V9Z
I’ve read about anti bark devices for these type of situations. But they might be bad if you have dogs outside too.
Also here is the city policy. If I’m reading it correctly the owner can be sited for being a nuisance and separately you can bring a civil suit.
The Zoom link is incorrect. Here is the correct one: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_k9v6BEVSS9iZBITNDoHIzg
Fresno county produces the most agriculture output by $$$ of any county in the country.
Fresno county has the most miles of "County roads" --3,600 -- in the state.
To really blow their minds you could do research on every name on our street signs . . . make a list and take it down to the downtown library's heritage section, or even a branch librarian would like to help, too.

There has to be some kind of miscalculation here. Their website’s prediction went <em>up</em> in the hour or so since OP’s screenshot, I’m not even sure what an AQI of 1638 even entails. Can you spend any time out-of-doors at all? Even indoors at that point would be monumentally hazardous
For a beginning trip, I'd recommend the Twin-Lakes trail.
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/twin-lakes--2
It's 8.2 miles round trip, the trailhead is about 2 hours away from Fresno and is located near Huntington. It's a very popular day-hike, so you won't ever be far away from help if you need it, and is relatively close to town.
I was up there yesterday (hiked to George Lake) and there was no mosquitos on the trail (early morning from 8:00AM to 12:40PM..not sure how they are at night, but judging by the weather, very minimal).
Just a few helpful tips to keep in mind.
Definitely check out this trail if you’re goin to Redinger Lake! You’ll see it on the way there. Lots of wildflowers and a sandy beach at the end 👌🏼 https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/horseshoe-bend-of-san-joaquin-river--2
You can see the trap range. You shoot out over the water/field.

what, you think that kid gonna go online, buy a lazyboy, sit in front of the tv, sipping soda and eating doritos all day, evicting tenants as a hobby?
That money gets reinvested into other ventures and keep generating more money, more jobs, more business.
Obama recommended a great book, called Factfulness. This evil system with all these evil capitalists, have raised the standards of living so high, you live better than a king did 150 years ago. Not to mention the number of people that have been lifted out of poverty. This whole parasite thing is just really uneducated.
OK now I see OP's angle.
sinsavory ... not that its very accurate ... but the site alexa ranking is 14,000,000th ... compare that to say fresnobeehive that is 178,000th

if you're looking for new customers for your business, I would focus your energy elsewhere.
Hello everyone.
We will be going over the basics of building a website and front-end development in particular. Mostly just examples on the FreeCodeCamp website: https://www.freecodecamp.org/
I will be posting the Zoom link later on (probably tomorrow at 12:00) on Meetup and on Slack.
We usually work through some of the exercises here: https://www.freecodecamp.org/
or discuss some relevant industry standard like version control, resume building, sample interview questions, those sort of things. All designed to get an individual started with coding and, perhaps, their first programming job.
its not that my friend.
i actually have match.com and paid subscription but the ones there don't reply. also all the other apps are either too young, scam or just no replies at all.
app dating was ok in bay area but here it's like ghosting
it's just hard everything is closed and most chicks are masked and that makes it difficult

Here is a Forms link to request a device. This includes the ability to request a laptop and hotspot. In some cases they will even FedEx you the equipment.
Students can log in to their district Microsoft account at office365.com from any computer with internet access. Type in their fresnounified.org or Fresno u.org email and password and then it will bring up all the Microsoft apps in a web based platform. Click Teams and your student should have access to their Teams. Middle and High School students should find a Team for each period. Elementary students should find access to their teachers Team.
If you have an Atlas Parent Login you can also send an email to your students teacher. Instructions can be found on your child's last report card. There is a link below too.
https://atlaskb.com/how-do-i-find-my-password/
(Most teachers have not activated their Teams because some students are going in and completing work early. )
From a district laptop simply log in to the computer and click on the Teams logo.
It may be worth checking the students email using the office365.com information above, but clicking Outlook instead of Teams. This can also be accomplished by clicking the Outlook app.
If this doesn't work, most sites have a pick up day scheduled for tomorrow. Offices are staffed from 8-4ish, so give your site a phone call. At some schools this includes text books, school supplies for home, etc. They may even have a few laptops available. School site phone numbers can be obtained through a Google search.
Classes officially start Wednesday, so you have a couple days.
Hope that at least helps a tiny bit.
I travel a lot. When I travel to a new city I typically use Tripadvisor to figure out what restaurants in the area have good reviews. Lots of people use that and similar apps. Try to increase your ratings on social media sites and phone app type websites and it will definitely draw in more travelers. I don't even see your restaurant on trip adviser.
Your restaurant is only a few miles from me and I like Indian food. I'll stop in sometime in the next week or two.
There's little way of knowing this because there's zero marketing for it but IMDB has their own free streaming service and it's streaming there right now. It's called IMDb TV.
My dogs love these. I have two pups and these keep them from chewing things they are not supposed to.
This particular vehicle may not be blocking enough driveway. I once had a car blocking my driveway and was asked several times, "is there any way you can go around?"
After insisting that I couldn't, they came out to inspect. Then they argued since the person was on my driveway ramp the car was mine to handle. I convinced them the ramp is part of the city easement as well as the sidewalk which it wasn't even to.
They towed it that timed. It had no plates.
Since then I got these: ABN Car Dolly 4-Pack, 4 Wheel Dolly Set – 6,000 lbs pound Total Capacity Stake Dollies for Tow or Vehicle Storage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VSG3X6Q/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_T8YT353QGT66KXP9AP14?psc=1
If I can jack up your car and move it, you weren't parking there for "just a minute." Usually I can just push it forward or back a couple of feet. It takes time but is far faster than waiting for the city.
Be petty, and leave a note saying they park like shit. And stock up, on these:

I've got an uke and might be into that.
I might suggest working out of a common songbook. One of the more popular ones I think is that 365 song a day ukulele book.

There's a sequel, leap year edition, that's blue, that has some good songs in it but probably not as many "Oh I know that" songs as the original.
Otherwise a communal songbook would be a good idea to practice ahead of time.
Use the FresGo app. That's honestly the quickest way to self-report potholes and get them fixed. The city can't fix something if a report isn't made about it.
I gave my parents this grinder in 2007 and it's still running strong. The hopper probably is a little brittle after 13 years and needs replacing though.
https://www.amazon.com/Capresso-560-01-Infinity-Conical-Grinder/dp/B0000AR7SY
You won't get really good espresso grinds without spending a lot more money. I have a ceramic conical hand grinder for when I want to show off with a proper espresso or even turkish grind.
If you're that picky, the public/costco machines are usually full of stale coffee remnants.
I got my standard Lodge 10" skillet for $14 at Walmart.
Amazon sells a reasonable Le Cruisset alternative for b/w $38-55 depending on whether it's on sale or not (instead of $300) and IMO looks nicer. https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Enameled-Cast-Iron-Dutch/dp/B073Q9K2H3
First, get yourself a standard 10" cast iron skillet.
Next, an enamel dutch oven from amazon.
A ~3 piece ceramic and enamel or teflon pan set from Costco (pick them up and play with them to make sure you get a sturdy set since brands and models vary.)
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Enameled-Cast-Iron-Dutch/dp/B073Q9K2H3
If Dollar Tree doesn't come through, Amazon has a case of 12 that would arrive tomorrow with one-day shipping. Not sure what your situation is but perhaps you could donate the rest in his memory.
My weather app notified me. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Elecont.WeatherClock&hl=en_US FWIW

Looking outside might tell you if it's particulate pollution and if it's 650 like it was on Sunday. But 150 is unhealthy for everyone, and you can't see that. Also, there's other types of pollution that isn't visible with the naked eye, like high o-zone levels.
I just purchased an air quality meeter for $70 to see if my indoor filters were doing anything. They are! They take pm2.5 and pm10 down by about 4x. I just keep the house ac fan running with the filters approved for smoke in them. Here's the meter I bought:
I have this one, but we recently installed ceiling fans so it’s in the garage. Willing to sell it, if interested shoot me a PM. It’s great. Fan

I would like to suggest you use my selfless act where you will get volunteer opportunities near you. Hope this piece of information will help you to make your volunteering experience better.
Just like you, I'm sure your pup will need some time to adjust, but there's no doubt he/she (and you) will be fine with the heat. I would maybe recommend something like these ... maybe /u/hBoBh can weigh in on whether dog shoes are a good idea? I've heard that dog paws can be really sensitive on hot surfaces.
I bought by light from these guys because of their very helpful website.
http://www.planetbike.com/page/learn/lightfinder
I settled for the 1W version and have been happy with it. Of course if youre able to hook it up, the dynamo light is the best one (no battery needed)
I also bought these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015R9Q4S?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
You need a good tail light, and this tiny thing is visible from a good distance, and easy to pocket when you park. I place the second front light in blinking mode lower to the ground and on the side compared to the front center one.
