I DO! (avengers music) all you need is this: https://www.amazon.ca/PlayStation-4-USB-Charging-Cable/dp/B00HUXPZPK/ref=sr_1_16?crid=1A79DX0QEKXDE&keywords=ps4+controller+wire&qid=1651799551&sprefix=ps4+controller+wire%2Caps%2C112&sr=8-16 then plug it into your controller and the other end into your pc, set it up, go into big screen mode for steam and now you can play gang beasts with PC!
This. Please. Imagine a pyramid of some sort, with those blocks/bals falling down from top and you needing to hold the -1 top level (so you could also be hit by stuff). And then people trying to stay on top level and throw each other of.
Would be awesome, they are allready working on this kind of stuff. Atleast this video suggests so:

Since you're on PC, try using Hamachi LogMeIn. I've found it's good for resolving a lot of network issues quickly. There's likely a way to resolve the root cause of your issue, but Hamachi I've found is typically a much faster work around. And if you're not having any other issues then as a solution it works fine. I was having problems connecting with a friend on old school Diablo 2 due to some kind of NAT issue and going through Hamachi fixed it.
Gang beasts will support using any number of 'DirectInput' devices. The reason I like to buy these is because they can be used for both 360 and DirectInput games, as some games support one mode and not the other. It's always nice to have at least 4 360 controllers for this reason, as there are many games that only support 4 360 controllers.
In addition, these are also cheaper than the 360 controllers.
They are very durable and nice to old - maybe more durable than the 360 controllers - especially for heavy spamming on the LB/RB buttons used to punch/grip in Gang Beasts. However, they have a slight rubbery feel - extra grip and doesn't feel bad at all. It's not a big issue, but you might want to keep yourself a nice Microsoft controller on standby for yourself if that's what you prefer ;)
I found out the hard way last night that the wireless XBOX 360 controllers don't come with the adapter you need to talk to the PC:

I assumed they came with that for the XBOX, but I guess not.
edit: or the generic one:

If you insist on wireless all around, I recommend the PC adapter. I have one and it works great. My friend bought a knockoff version that didn't work out of the box so I would definitely recommend going with official microsoft. Also, don't keep it too close to a heat source because it has a sensitive fuse that can break at a certain temperature. Being a USB device though I just soldered over the part because realistically it doesn't have enough juice to cause problems.
