I always have a lotta respect for people who are ballsy enough to draw using paint + a mouse (?), but it almost always hurts the overall quality of the piece. I can tell you're very skilled (if you can do thAT w/ a mouse (again assuming you are) on paint), and you've got your grasp on basic anatomy n everything, but those lines tho yo. They're super shaky, kinda ruin the piece.

NOW that I've said all that, I'd like to recommend a free upgrade. The main reason why is because a neat little feature called correction, that basically makes the line trail a few pixels behind your pointer (makin it heckin smooth yo), which helps a L O T, esp with a heckin' mouse.

These wall mounts are adhesive based and you just slide your preferred lp into the mount. It’s super easy. If you don’t like this style there are frames available that insert the lp into like a picture in a frame.

I would prefer anything by Audio Technica or Technics, but there are plenty of other great brands as well. I use the Technics FG servo bd22, but there are lots of options. Basically just anything that doesn't use the red cartridge that yours uses is fine.

But if you buy this one I think you need to send up the belt so it can actually rotate, which isn't really that hard. And you would also need a receiver and speakers and those can get kind of pricy as well, but you can try finding them at garage sales and eBay because any receiver works with any record player as long as it has phono, you just have to make sure your speakers can connect to your receiver.

I’m pretty sure that is the sample, they sound FAR too similar for it to be a coincidence (imo). I found it strange that this is never mentioned. Whosampled.com (or whatever the url was) only lists ‘In the Hall of the Mountain Queen’ as a sample, and I only found one other website that thought the same thing regarding Doctor Who. Strange.

Personally I’d recommend an Audio-Technica LP60. It may seem expensive compared to your Victrola but it is a very solid player and it significantly less then something like an LP120.

This is the one I got (the A2 size), but it doesn’t appear to be available right now. This happened last year too, and then it was randomly available again. The frame was about $43 if I remember correctly and is excellent quality.

I believe this is the pack I bought. Then just pop and swap out the lenses for whatever combo you want. Being so cheap the frames can easily break and the way the ear-piece is shaped at the end, they're not great for long periods of time unless you carefully twist them outward so they don't stab into your skin.

I have to agree with /u/jmes_c and /u/petscopnerd28. The Crosley is the most likely issue. I’d highly recommend an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-BK.

There are better players that cost more, but for the price, this is a great turntable and should resolve most, if not all, of your skipping issues. (You may be able to find it cheaper somewhere. Amazon is just the first place I went.)

If the price seems high to you, consider a high quality turntable as an investment. The Crosley can damage your vinyls over time. Depending on how enthusiastic you are about collecting and spinning your vinyl youll likely be saving money in the long run (you already bought a second Demon Days because of the Crosley).

You can't do this on a streaming service like spotify. The only real way is to download it and manually change the cover image using a tag editor app.

I recommend using this one because it should automatically fill in all the other tags so that the mp3 appears correctly on your music player (If it doesn't automatically show the correct track just fill in artist and title and it should sort the rest itself). You can change the cover image at the bottom when editing the tags.

What type of turntable is it? If it has a standard 1/2 inch mount you can just buy a new cartridge for about $50. If it’s one of those suitcase turntables then they 100% sell new ones, might not be the same brand name but those suitcases and similar players 99% of the time have the same red needle on it.

Posters of any of the album covers only exist in magazines by this point. On the other hand, if you can't get to buying those older mags and truly care about receiving a guaranteed official poster, use the Gorillaz webstore. There are also other popular posters of the Plastic Beach era like this one though I'm not sure how directly official they are. They seem like more of a licenced use by a poster distributer since the ones that directly come from Gorillaz typically don't get reprinted very often except for seemingly the Reject False Icons one which pertains to it never running out of stock since its release date alongside RFI, end of 2019.

Not sure if you're still looking, but I use the Jensen JTA-222. I've had it for almost 3 years now and aside from replacing the needle from general wear, it's held up really well.

The reason I bought it was because I knew it wouldn't ruin my records, always check the tracking force before buying a fixed weight arm.

It won't sound good with the built in speakers, so I'd recommend getting some nice speakers to go with your new player.

the reason people get a record player is for better sound quality, for that you need to go for something that isnt made for people who are not really into getting a collection.
