Also, feel free to give them a pointless OSHA report: Reporting Form
There needs to be actual penalties. Fuck these guys. I hate that these assholes have made me become the cop I never wanted to be, but come the fuck on. This is the exact example of abusing personal freedoms over civil responsibilities.
Just going to leave this here. It's the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services epidemic violation form.
I've previously filed a complaint on Wildroast, and would encourage others to do so as well.
Biased opinion but you should check out the GR Drinks app! We have happy hour and daily specials at 100+ bars in GR.

airbnb?? we put up my girlfriend's mom in one in heritage hill for a few nights, not very expensive.
here it looks like prices range from $38-100/ night

It's really easy to install; 2 connections and a power line. $48 vs how much per month for a Comcast modem?
The wayback machine captured this comment under the photo:
> A haunted house > > This most likely used to be a hotel. The image was taken upstate New York, around Hunter Mountain.
What type of role are you after, front-end/back-end, full stack, embedded, something else...? That will dictate where your efforts are best spent.
Getting a first dev job can be very difficult. I personally was fortunate to have a connection put me in touch with a company willing to gamble on me and hire a junior.
Start networking (visit local meetups, etc). I'm not sure how many events are in-person right now (I've only lived here 6 months).
I would learn JavaScript if you have any intention of working with web development, it's everywhere. HTML/CSS too, but JavaScript is the more difficult of the three. https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn
Volunteer at any local conferences/events. It can help build up your network as well.
Create working applications that anyone can look at (basic CRUD apps with decent styling are fine).
Possibly find some open-source projects to contribute to. ( https://github.com/freeCodeCamp/how-to-contribute-to-open-source )
Work steadily each day to improve your skills. 15 minutes a day is better than zero minutes. Ideally 1-2 hours (in my opinion).
Schuler's Books on 28th St has some, also the downtown public library had at least one reading group last time I was there. You could also go on meetup.com, I believe they have some for specific genres like a sci-fi meetup group.
Until recently it never bothered me that big donors are allowed to put their name on buildings, but it's starting to get to me because of the logic of folks like the OP. I regularly hear people saying things along the lines of "no one would go downtown if the Van Andels hadn't built the arena." 15 years after the arena opened, people have already forgotten how the arena was financed; they assume the Van Andel family wrote a check and the rest is history. In fact:
Van Andel's gift was great, and you're right that the community would look different without the local philanthropy, but your collage portraying many of GR's buildings as a gift from the 1% is flat out wrong.
tl;dr naming buildings after families or individuals is misleading because the majority of the project may have been financed with public monies
Bonus because I can't get over how naive this post is: last year Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park (an awesome spot in metro GR) received (pdf) $5.6 million in contributions from several thousand donors. They also documented 75,056 volunteer hours which at minimum wage would add up to over half a million dollars. The place simply wouldn't function without donations of time and money from the 99%.
It's not useful for attempting a one-day round trip, but you can take the Amtrak train to and from Chicago, which has tons of flights. Can be cheaper if you really want to save every penny.
In town, you can get around with Lyft/Uber (there will be taxis at the airport, but probably a similar quantity as in Denver - this isn't New York). Probably $15-20 to get to town? The airport is like 20 miles from anything :/
Or take the Rapid bus system: Line 17 to Woodland Mall (a fine spot to grab a wedding present if you don't want to worry about luggage), then line 28 across 28th Street and take any of a couple lines north to the station, the Market is right by the central bus station and Amtrak station. Should be like $2 total.
For flights, you're right, there are few good options for getting from Denver in the morning and back in the evening. What time and dates are you looking for? Here's an example that puts you leaving Denver Saturday morning and departing GR Sunday morning for a Saturday evening wedding on flights UA3499 and UA1763:
Don't confuse the Downtown Market with Market Street, btw - it's a building at the intersection of Ionia and Wealthy, a mile east of Market Street.
Finally, the wedding party would probably let you know if this was the case, but Art Prize is September 20-October 8. All hotels are probably already booked solid for those dates and you will want to double any travel time estimates, but it's so busy because it's a cool experience that's worth staying a day for.
The app is called GR Park and is available in the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store
Doesn't matter what online local marketplace is used, you'll still have to meet the person and actually do the exchange. There are ways to protect yourself from this sort of thing, especially if you are dealing with things like expensive electronics:

A lot of these tips are posted on many of the major sales platforms. Here's Craigslist's advice.
It depends on which one you bought. The OP3 came in two models, the US model and the Global model.
The US model supports LTE 2/4/12. If you have the US model, that just means your APN settings are probably wrong. Check them here.
The Global model does not support any of the LTE bands that we (Ting) use and you'd be stuck on 2G the whole time.
Can you verify with your seller which model you purchased? Ting GSM has pretty good coverage all around Grand Rapids, so it's unlikely to be a coverage issue.
Source and disclosure: I work for /r/Ting.
Here's the GR weather. In the upper right is the "Allergies" indicator. This page seems to be a bit more accurate than other pages about the weather. Some other weather pages for GR are way off.
Here's a graph for the average weather conditions for a year in GR. I love this one because it has so much data in it.
Nice! I'm in Ada - so basically next door. Head to http://www.geocaching.com/ make an account and find some that look good. Will you be using a smart phone or GPS? Either way is fine. I'd say start with some that are larger - the smaller ones are harder to find & usually not as fun (in my opinion).
You Can literally go to any park and there will be some. Here are three places that I have been that were fun.
1) Park at the East end of Burton - there are 8 at this park & they are all fairly large. To get here just take Burton until it dead ends. There are trails through the woods with caches scattered around the trails.
2) Vergennes Park - This place was really fun IMO. Its off the beaten path and in the country. There are 11 caches at this place all around the trail system. To get here take Fulton through Ada, almost to Lowell, then take a left on Alden Nash SE. Take that up a few miles to Vergennes & take a left. A half mile up on the north side of the road (right) there is a park.
3) Townsend Park - This place is also REALLY great. There are 10 caches here on the park & their is a nice paved trail that leads toward Belding that has more scattered along it. I would highly recommend this place. To get here Take Fulton though Ada & make a Michigan U heading back West. Take the split off on the right onto Petis and then swing a right on Honey Creek. Take this until it dead ends on Cannonsburg Rd. Take a right then a quick left on Ramsdell. You'll see it on your right 1/2 mile up.
Good luck, and have fun!!! Let me know how it goes!
Check out meetup.com. A lot of folks think it's a singles site, but there are all kinds of hobbies and interests that you can look into. I've joined a couple of groups and it's been great!
I highly recommend gifting her a copy of Maran Illustrated Cooking Basics. I’ve bought copies for two friends after my mother gave me a copy to learn to cook in my bachelor days. Simple, classic American recipes. By the time she’s done, she’ll be a better cook than 90% of people.
I have two Ghost Drift XL cameras, one for front and one for back.
Besides the (relatively) low cost, the great battery life was my biggest decision point.
The video quality is pretty good.
Won't help for this event, obviously, but....
One of us just needs to grab a bottle of liquid ass off Amazon. Walk to the back of the restaurant, and then nonchalantly pour it out on the floor behind us as we head to the front.
That should clear them all out of the building in about 5 minutes 😄😄😄
I'd suspect you would have better luck just buying a new one. It'll probably cost less than bringing it to an electronics shop. I see AV input selectors on amazon for 20-30 bucks.
35 bucks here https://www.amazon.com/Auto-sensing-V-Switch-5-2-out/dp/B00DSQMVKU
I graduated from Grandville in 2011, so I was there for the first two that they did and honestly while it was fun, I don't think you really missed much. It was mostly waiting around for the camera to pass by where you were at for maybe being in the video for a split second.
Although unfortunately I can't find the 2010 Lipdub Grandville did online. I think I got it on a DVD somewhere that I got around graduation, but it's probably back at my parent's place. Here's the 2011 one though
The Asian Delight Supermarket nextdoor to Horrocks, corner of 44th st. and Breton. My GF gets it there pretty often.
About a year before the 28th street version of GRBC closed, it was sold to a new owner*. At the beginning of the year before it closed, they redid the menu and ruined it. They hardly had anything that resembled pub food anymore, and what they did have wasn't any good. The only thing that carried over to the new menu was the herb bread.
*I don't think Sellers was the buyer back then, I'd heard it was whoever owns the Fleetwood diner
Wikitravel has a decently up-to-date list of good places to eat. If you are looking best of the best I would say Grove. It isn't crazy expensive, but is on the nice end.

Of course, if you say what kind of food your'e really into, I'm sure the hive can come up with some great recommendations.
I've really been floored by some really awesome breakfast spots: Real Food Cafe and Wolfgang's. Simple, cheap and a great way to start the day.
You can send a host a message in Grand Rapids. They might be able to give you the rundown. Just click on Contact Host. I'm sure most would be willing to help you out. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/8484686?s=8ePQdSXo
or

Both have many reviews, so they've probably been doing it for a while.
It looks like he's stopped doing it, and I've never even listened to one, but Shaffee formerly of WGRD and now on the WBBL morning show has/had a podcast. I just think he has a cool voice.
I love it at 8th Day. I started about a year ago with zero experience. They offer Crossfit classes as well as boot camp classes. There's a pretty cheap Groupon for a free month of boot camp style classes if you want to check out the atmosphere without taking the full plunge. I've had nothing but great experiences there. Haters gonna hate.

Edit: Here, right where it says "200" but on the other side of the street.
I've stuck it out with Sprint for years because I apparently like not being able to get ANY signal 25% of the time in metropolitan areas and 50% of the time anywhere else.
I don't know what improvements they're talking about having made to be within 1% of the leading network, but signal strength seems to only be getting worse. Granted, I can pull 30-40mb down and 20mb up when I can get a good 4g signal, but that's WHEN I can get a good 4g signal. It's pretty rare. There are plenty of surprisingly large dead zones all over the place. I don't know what Sprint engineers are doing in this town, if anything.
Open signal maps can explain more for those interested. I drive all over grand rapids and surrounding areas for work and contribute hundreds of tests per day to them...to the dismay of the Sprint marketing department, I'm sure. https://opensignal.com
So I have those GE ones that you can pick up at Meijer for 15$ and one is in a stand alone lamp that looks nice on the hutch I keep my succulents. The other is in this kind of lamp just aimed lower at a side table I keep other plants on. So the only noticable difference is they're bright.
So far the bulbs I've had have worked alright for what I have since I'm an apartment dweller with less than ideal natural lighting.
I use the cheapest antenna I could find on Amazon - less than $8.
I get everything but PBS as long as the antenna is in a window. I'm sure if I got an amplified antenna it would be even better. I live in Caledonia FWIW.
Buy very good winter gear, stuff that will last and is high quality. Coat, boots, snow pants, gloves, hat, socks, face mask. Carhartt is a good work brand.
Buy a nice brush and ice scraper something that can extend to about 45” something like this: 50 inch extendable ice scraper don’t buy a small shitty $5 or $10 one, you’ll thank me later.
Heating in a gas car works by getting the hot air from the motor. You can tell when the car is going to put out hot air by the temperature gauge on your dash when the gauge is not showing cold then the engine is warm and so is your air. Then you can turn the fan up higher. I see many people blasting their fan when there car is cold not understanding that nothing is happening until the engine gets warm.
4wd doesn’t mean shit if you drive terribly. If you loose traction it doesn’t matter how many wheels you have. So be cautious when driving and maybe watch some videos on snow driving. It’s not hard but it’s also scary when you slide on ice and don’t know what to do.
Always clean your boots/shoes off before going into anywhere. Just common courtesy. Clean them off before going into a store preferably outside. Or when getting into a car.
Driving will take longer. Just account for that.
Keep some blankets in the trunk. Might come in handy.
as u/Sniderfan so intelligently pointed out (after letting me dm ten thousand people like an idiot) I should just post the link here.
https://www.udacity.com/course/ios-developer-nanodegree--nd003?utm_source=gsem_brand&utm_medium=ads_r&utm_campaign=12712700850_c_individuals&utm_term=124530979830&utm_keyword=%2Budacity%20%2Bios_b&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3v6SBhCsARIsACyrRAmWKm-3Qb-oxZQL8DVzHcVXM6VsMZFdLMFhjeIbvtOnVK72Awrcg64aAqNEEALw_wcB
Thats' the link to the course I took. It's a zero experience to "professional" iOS development boot camp with the Swift programming language. For me, the true value of the course (when I took it several years ago at this point) was that, yeah it teaches you the building blocks of development and many high-level concepts, but moreover it teaches you how to seek out and acquire knowledge and techniques on your own. It forced me to learn how to teach myself the things that a video just cant cover in full and in truth that's like 60% of development.
Also, as u/jordanful astutely pointed out, all it takes is a quick google search to find this link so if any of the people here asking for a dm to the link don't have the "self-starter-ness" to find it on their own, you're definitely going to need to step it up to make it in the development world...
I walk in the snow all the time. I use these. I'm not sure how good they will be with running, but I don't slip.
To prevent this for next time, there are jump starter kits/batteries you can just leave in your car to use for next time it happens. something like this
I've got one in my car as a preventative measure. Hope this helps!
It's a little further away in Newaygo, but Coolbough Natural Areas is a favorite of mine. You can connect to the North Country trail and get a very large hike.
You can start here. Removed easy trails. You can try using elevation and length but a small number quickly eliminates a lot of trails. You can often extend length by adding trails that are indicated on the map but have not been recorded by a member.
The best feature of the Pro version is you can download maps and use them to navigate without cell access. Also, provides car nav to the trail head.
You could try geocaching - here’s some info on that
https://grkids.com/grand-rapids-geocaching-treasure-hunting-in-michigan/
Or bundle up and check out some of the different trails around
Found this on AllTrails. Looks like your directions to Seaton Creek Campground saves a longer drive. Added it to my list for my visit to GR. It was supposed to happen this summer. GR seems very walkable. The plan is to stay downdown and walk throughout the city - the neighborhood where I grew up (left in '69) and check out some personal interests like the original Calvin campus and homes built by Jim Bronkema. Given I'm an avid hiker, you have convinced me to set aside some time for nearby hiking, as well. Thanks.
I’ve heard of this book but only heard what was written and I thought it was fucked if this was in my kids school library I’d be upset too.
also amazon has it listed as 18 and up reading age Scroll down to where it says “book details”
Completely fucked. Not acceptable.
Yeah, I'd definitely suggest trying some of the different styles available. I find it hard to believe your ears would be shaped so distinctly that no earplug would work.
Some are even marketed especially for sleeping (never used them, can't vouch for how they're different). Ex. https://www.amazon.com/Loop-Quiet-Noise-Reduction-Earplugs/dp/B08MFDT65P
I think prices are going up for snow removal because we don't have winters like we used to get. Last year I found out about the Quikplow app. It's handy if you need your driveway cleared after a big snow dump.

When I used to buy old-fashioned mattresses, I swore by Mark's Mattress.
However, since having this foam mattress delivered to my door in a box, I'll never buy springs again; it's the best!
If we are being honest then yes. Especially outside the city limits. Is it any worse than other metro areas I can’t say, but it is a problem here. There actually is a good book written about the issue. https://www.amazon.com/City-within-Freedom-Struggle-Michigan/dp/1439909229/ref=nodl_?dplnkId=b5886939-6d9b-4a2e-8c01-0d28b7c84497
You can get aluminum sheet, cut to size if you need, at GR Central Iron over on the south end of Alpine:
https://www.grcentraliron.com/services
They also have a CNC plasma table, I don't know if it's set up for aluminum...but you could put in a single 6 3/8" hole pretty easy with a big hole saw:
https://www.amazon.com/Southwire-Equipment-BMHS6-3-Bi-Metal-Diameter/dp/B01M59QGEM
Does your phone have a headphone jack? Or do you have a dongle for it?
If so, you can connect it into the cassette player
https://www.amazon.com/RCA-AH600R-Car-Cassette-Adapter/dp/B000BUN79K/ref=asc_df_B000BUN79K/
If you search on Amazon, you can also find cassette Bluetooth adapters.
I can help out here. We have a multifunction one and it rules. Here is a link for reference.
I've been using this one. No issues with it so far. I haven't had a need to take any video off of it yet though I should test that out. It was fine staying in my car during the winter. It's getting hotter so I have been taking it down and putting it in my center console when I'm not driving, just in case. My old dashcam had a warning about the battery expanding if it was left in the heat so I'm mainly being careful.
Yes, I use something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Charging-Hands-Free/dp/B07VJKL5YD
and set it to an empty radio station (87.9 will work fine, unless you listen to 88.1, 107.7 is another useful one). Then, you can use bluetooth to broadcast your phone onto your radio. It will also charge your phone at the same time.
I have this book and have found it extremely useful in planning permaculture projects.

Truck stops might have a copy. Dunno though, I’m 30 and never bought one before, I just use Google maps
This stuff works great if you can find it cheaper. I think I paid $40 for a tub of it and it makes gallons and gallons of spray for your house. When we paid someone to come treat our house for stink bugs this is what they used.
Tempo Ultra WP Contact Insecticide https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004FEP1D8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_PEWQWCT7T8K7C37WMAQ7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Really depends on your PO. My buddy was on probation last year and smoked regularly but would stop a week or two prior to meeting with his PO. He dropped dirty once in the 9 months and his PO just made him do more community service instead of charging him.
If you are worried about dropping dirty and still feel the need to use cannabis I suggest buying a few of these. My friends and girlfriend swear by them.
However don't buy it from Amazon. Go to a local head shop and support them instead. I know the party store on butternut sells this product.
Get a jump pack. They’re small. Fits in your glove box. Most can also charge your phone. I bought my daughter one at Costco for $100. Here is a size comparison.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M41FX48/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_dl_AH40J8BKWR7ZT2GPV0GP
But to answer your question, yes, the city is less helpful than the small town’s. I grew up in a small town. So I know exactly what you mean.

No need to buy the expensive ones, the technology is exactly the same and they are all imported. I’ve had my for at least two years and it’s been bullet proof.
The last time I was unemployed, it was for over six weeks. The job market is much tighter here than in other places, imo. Detroit might be tighter yet. I usually have good luck with indeed .
Of course, don't do the crazy offroad stuff. Once you enter the woods and see the big mud tracks, look for the right-side turnoff. From there, you can cruise an easy, secluded car trail in a nice romantic place in the woods overlooking the river. Have fun.
One of the best places to walk I know of is Riverside Park, located along the Grand River from Knapp and Monroe to almost I-96 on the north.
If you park at one end or the other, it's a nice 45-60 min walk. Also, the squirrels expect a handout, so bring a few peanuts with you to make them happy.
If you want to get out of GR a bit, you could take a walk around Aman Park. It's in Ottawa county, but is managed by the City of GR. It's a great place with a great amount of flora to enjoy.
i stgarted by ordering this from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072N3X39J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sadly it is out of stock. But overall it's nothing too special, just a raspberry pi with a case, memoiry card (with NOOBS installed) and other basic connectors/powersupply.
From there you can google tutorials on how to get a Pi OS installed (i used Raspbian, super easy with NOOBS). Then install Pi-Hole. Again, super easy, it's like 1 command in the command line to get it installed. a few onscreen install menus to make selections, mostly you go with the defaults.
Next big thing is setting up your router to redirect traffic to the pi-hole. This is just changing one setting to set the DNS from whatever it currently is, to the pi-holes IP address. That's about it.
More detail can be found in online how-to guides and such.
You can buy surprisingly good welders on amazon for around $70. I've been amazed by what they will do. https://smile.amazon.com/SIMDER-Welder-Welding-Machine-Digital/dp/B07BJZG97W/ref=psdc\_553012\_t2\_B092W224S8

I've been buying the 50 packs but they are out of stock now. These will mess up your hair putting them on or taking off but they don't touch your ears so more comfortable imo. I only wear these in public now.
"I invested in a space heater and am considering putting blankets over the windows" = both bad ideas. If space heaters were an efficient way to heat your house, you'd see everybody using them instead of a furnace. And if you want to cover your windows for winter weatherproofing, invest in some cheap Frost King brand window film, that you can buy at Meijer, Walmart, Target, etc: www.amazon.com/Frost-King-V73-9H-42-Inch/dp/B000AXSVJ4 -- it looks a heckuva a lot less tacky than blankets.
1927 build 1.5 story 1,200 sqft, 50% of the walls have cellulose insulation, and attic has 4 inches of Rockwool and 4 inches of cellulose insulation. Out bill is typically $95-100. Instead of blankets consider shrink wrap for the windows, and if you're comfortable doing so, you can add insulation pads behind the cover plates ofoutlets and switches on exterior walls https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00BY3QNE4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_A5KDBRSFY6C6RCTBN4MC
Hiking. Zoom out a bit and there are over 100 hikes within a reasonable drive. We love being out explolring alone. It's good for bonding, even after 40+ years of marriage. Cost? You might need to invest in some protective clothing, especially for your feet. An REI recently opened in GR. They have terrific bargains hidden among all the expensive brands. Also good to have an app that allows you to download maps that use GPS on your phone while in airplane mode, like Alltrails which costs $30/year. It has a free version that works okay if you stay within cell distance. )There is an app for exploring GR history, though I have not tried it.) Gas to get to the trail head. Food, because hiking makes you hungry.

TL;DR:
It’s the most clear between May 16 and November 5. Typically around August 5, it is the most clear, and around January 7th, it is the cloudiest.
The snowiest times are from December 21 to February 17.
I don't see a guideline that they are breaking: https://www.kickstarter.com/help/guidelines
Seems like opening up any restaurant is a big risk. If they want to do the work and their customers/community want to front some money to see them start it up, who are we to tear them down? even if the crowd funding stuff is kinda annoying.
https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/earth-curvature plugging in 30miles to Lake Michigan as the crow flies and 406 ft to the top of River House (the tallest side of Varnum / Bridgewater Place) tells me the answer should be no. Neat question though.
Quit falsely equating these actions by JBL to actual civil disobedience. Look up in any dictionary what civil disobedience is - it requires BREAKING THE LAW.
>Civil disobedience doesn't always mean violence, nor does it mean deliberately breaking the law. Civil disobedience includes disobedience against social norms and expectations too
Nobody ever fucking said anything about it necessitating violence. Jesus christ. Here, take a clue:
https://www.wordnik.com/words/civil%20disobedience
Not giving up your seat for a white person on a bus and CIVILLY BEING ARRESTED is civil disobedience.
Sitting in city hall and refusing to leave, and CIVILLY BEING ARRESTED is civil disobedience. In fact, I sat in Holland City Hall long ago with a minister as a witness who had planned to commit an act of civil disobedience, and was fighting for protections in gay rights and kept him company right up until the police told me to leave right after the local news finished airing. I was a coward - I left, because I had a job and family and can't have a record. The minister? He was arrested - he was the one who was civilly disobedient, and was tried and convicted.
Doing illegal shit with a bullhorn and running away like a coward is not civil disobedience. That's literally called uncivil disobedience. It's just anarchy.
And here i'm the ignorant one? LOL.
The City of GR actually posted on Nextdoor:
Emergency Alert. About 100 traffic signals are out in the city due to a power outage at our Coldbrook substation. We’re working to fix the issue as quickly as possible. It may take a few hours. Remember to treat a dark intersection as a four-way stop.
You can check out nextdoor, or if you don't have an account I can send a pic of a specific area if you want. Basically people on the site mark their house as "will give out treats" if they want. It's certainly not all inclusive, but it's something. Here's the map: https://nextdoor.com/treat_map/
Heck yes!
ISSA, ISC2, Red Canary is doing a brewery tour, there's stuff on meetup.com and a few other things.
PM for me direct info on this kind of stuff.
Are you on LinkedIn, who do you work for, and why are you looking to get into events like these?
I don't know what your situation is, but if your able to install a rooftop antenna, this has been amazing for me in Standale. Antennas Direct ClearStream 4V
I used to use an amplified antenna which worked okay except in bad weather.

I just saw an info graphic the other day about where to report specific businesses in MI. Sorry I can’t find it now... but being that this is a food service establishment you can report them to MDARD. I’ve spent much of my career in food service and have had many interactions with MDARD over the years. For the most part, they are a very professional group of people who take their jobs seriously. They are always overwhelmed, especially now I’m sure. But I am certain they will address your complaint. Here is the form from their website: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=h3D71Xc3rUKWaoku9HIl0S2Ecpq80aREpGgoNi6AMypUMkxVVEE1ODdXU081UEZMSDAwQlFCN0RHRC4u
Nope! The PF-31 was scrapped in 1947, but the PG-98 is still in operation today, albeit for a different organization and under a different name. Here's a recent satellite image of the (former) USS Grand Rapids docked down in Panama City.
GrandLan Downtown has video and board games to rent, and is open until 12am nightly. Also, the Bitter End on Fulton is a great 24 hour coffee shop on Fulton on the Westside.
Up for a little adventure?? Get the Geocaching app and look for some nearby caches, many of them are easy and will tell you if they're ok to do in the dark.
Also, the Gun Lake Casino in Wayland can be a pretty incredible place to people watch, and 25 cent video poker is super fun, plus free pop all night!!
I had a decent stay at the Travelodge on 28th St. It's certainly not the nicest place, but it's okay. Another option would be AirBnB. https://www.airbnb.com/s/Grand-Rapids--MI--United-States?checkin=12%2F05%2F2014&checkout=12%2F10%2F2014&sw_lat=42.91190747309589&sw_lng=-85.68078667579061&ne_lat=42.964461790588416&ne_lng=-85.61830193457968&zoom=14&sear...
If you're still looking, I answered another poster after stumbling onto this post the other day:
>John st. between Barclay and Lafayette, on the same hill as Actor's Theatre/GRCC's Spectrum Theatre.
>Source: I've been parking in front of it for the better part of a month and a half while doing shows at Actor's Theatre.
>Edit: Here, right where it says "200" but on the other side of the street.
If they were actually salting the passwords and hashing with bcrypt (like the article states), then you're probably fine. Bcrypt is industry standard when it comes to storing passwords because it's wildly hard to crack (here's a good article about why Auth0 uses bcrypt).
Definitely not excusing the sloppy data protection, but just wanted to let people know that your passwords aren't going to be cracked anytime soon if ParkMobile was actually storing them the way they were supposed to.
First - Welcome to the neighborhood! The neighborhood is organizing via Nextdoor, please consider joining - https://nextdoor.com/invite/usawwutkhqnbhbqebcqs
I own a couple of old Grand Rapids houses and have a general contractor I have used for years - he's reliable - which after years of struggling with pain-in-the-ass contractors is wonder. I will ask him today who he would recommend for asbestos removal.
