If you are planning to use public transport (which you should, taxis are extremely expensive), download the HSL- app immediately on arrival or before, because:

• You can buy digital tickets on it. Single use or time-based.
• You can see real-time ETAs for trains, busses etc.
• You can use the trip planner to go basically anywhere in the HSL region in a reasonable time and convenience.

I cannot stress how good this app is, especially for tourists.

Also on the airport use the commuter trains under the airport to get downtown unless you want to pay 50€ for taxi. Either direction is fine both I and P trains will loop around back to Central station.

It seems it's going to be a decent weather. Go for a stroll in Suomenlinna. The boat leaves from Kauppatori market area and costs a few Euros.
