If you want a reference book that will cover how to do anything you need to do around the home I highly recommend Home Comforts by Cheryl Henderson and Martha Stewart's Homekeeping Handbook. I don't whip them out terribly often because the internet exists, but if I want to know the best way to do something they're always waiting for me. I grew up with a single mom who knew how to keep house but was just too busy to do so regularly and didn't teach us much of anything.
You can use fractionated coconut oil. It doesn't solidify and washes away cleanly.
My kiddo is 3 now, but I had a bouncy chair for him when he was younger to keep him contained and occupied when necessary.

I’m kind of an asshole mom, and when my son hit a short streak of being afraid of the vacuum I just did it anyway ♀️. He cried a little, and got over it fast.
I also started having him “help” (carry this thing, hold this, pick between these two options..) but that’s probably a few months down the road for you still.
I’m also a big proponent of doing a little bit frequently. So the bathroom counter gets wiped down almost every day, the toilets only need a quick swish bc I do them at least weekly. Dishes and laundry don’t pile up, so they’re never a big task. Keeping everything clean and tidy is a big deal for me, so I made a lot of effort to maintain everything as best as possible while my kiddo was little. He’s used to helping now, and actually does some useful stuff! Plus he knows how to clean up spilled stuff (milk, pee.. whatever), lol.
Do you have your own closet? Maybe it would be possible for you to keep your clothes enclosed in their own garment bag, like this :
This one hangs inside your closet, and there are free-standing versions too. That will protect them from outside smells, and you could also put some dryer sheets or sachets inside for some extra nice smells. Sachets inside bureau drawers will help also.

We have a solid glass storm door and I use these magnetic wreath holders to hang things. They have hooks on both sides so you can hang bulkier wreaths on the outside of the door and more flat things in between the storm door and your front door. Mines been on our door for 5+ years and never moved once.

Do you have houseplants? I've just devoted three weeks to getting rid of fungus gnats, which I had never experienced until recently. I thought they were fruit flies but they're a tad smaller. Just one fungus gnat can lay 200 eggs in one shot, so a whole bunch of them can appear out of nowhere and drive you mad. You need sticky traps for the adults, but the babies are in your soil and nothing short of mosquito bits can save you. It will take several weeks, but you can do it!
What about something like this?

Make your bed, then give it a steam along the wrinkles.
There are special straps and fasteners you can get. Take a look at Amazon, search for sheet keepers. We have something like this for our queen. Works pretty well.
Immediately I think it would help to figure out what is everyone's preferred (or at least, least hated) chores. Hopefully the list covers a variety. Those can be an ongoing delegation if there's no conflict.
Similarly, who prefers manual labor vs. thinking tasks. Carrying garbage out vs. meal planning. Tracking bills vs. grocery shopping.
This is a very intriguing situation you have. I just don't see it continuing happily for everyone without specific ground rules and checking in. I suppose you could take guesses pertaining to my first suggestions about chore delegation and slowly take turns asking each person to assist you with that chore, then explain how great they are at it and how the home would benefit from them being in charge of it?

My neighbor gave me one of these and it is magical! I use it with my shopvac since my upright doesn't have a hose that will fit.

Brand name: OxiClean, available at Target and Costco as well.
OP, when you've scrubbed off the grime I highly recommend the Twist N Shout as an everyday mop. It may even get off your tough grime after an OxiClean soak. I have tried many, many, many mops from Target and Amazon, and this is the only one I like. It's a breeze to snap on the head, wet it, spin it to your desired dampness, and remove the dirty head. It doesn't drag on the floor like other microfiber mop heads. It actually gets the dirt and grime off your floor. I use it with water and either OxiClean or Method squirt and mop. If you're over 5'7" get the handle extender.
I bought this one from amazon in April and I love it. It’s sturdy and rolls nice and smooth. It doesn’t look like it’s an option for Prime and the price has gone up - I only paid $51.99 but you might be able to find a similar one from the same company.

I haven't found a way around wiping paws to prevent muddy tracks through the house, but I have found things that help! Get an outdoor doormat and one of these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016IXADV8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_btf_t1_u74CFb40ETYHM) for indoors. When my dogs get particularly dirty, I hose their paws off before letting them in and keep a towel by the door to dry them off. You can also get something called a "MudBuster" for paw cleaning, but I've found the hose is about the same. Keeping fur and nails trimmed also helps.
Other than that, the best you can do is regular vacuuming, mopping, and dusting. I've heard you can wipe down baseboards with drier sheets to prevent dust/dirt buildup but I haven't tried that yet. If you have the funds, invest in a really good vacuum with a HEPA filter that won't just redistribute dirt and dogfur but actually capture it. It's worth every penny!
If you're thinking about a cordless one, this might help you priorities what you need from it: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5HSNFL8 then you can speak about your key qualities?
I think people are often miss sold cordless vacuums as replacements for traditional vacuums, I'm currently doing market research for it now, hence the questions. If it is a cordless you want, let me know and I will let you know what I have found out :)
I bought these for my college kids to move in and out of school for the summers. They are strong, but malleable. So they will fit under any bed. They don’t take up any space when not in use.
Will your new laundry room have a sink? That's the #1 thing I wish I had in my basement laundry area (and will probably add at some point, but it's a bit tricky as our basement is below grade and the sink will need to have a pump to move the draining water to where it needs to go).
As /u/LadyAlexTheDeviant said, a big flat space for folding laundry is also nice to have, at a good height for when you're standing. Put an anti-fatigue mat where you'll be standing to fold and/or iron, to save your back and feet. We have several of these and they're so comfy, and easy to hose down if they get dirty.
For hanging laundry inside, folding racks are nice because you can have tons of space with a few racks, and then you can easily store them away when not in use. A ceiling-mount one sounds awesome, but it can only hold so much.
Do you have outdoor space you can use for drying laundry when it's nice out? That's faster than indoor drying (and, in my opinion, there's just nothing like the smell of fresh sun-dried laundry!). I have one of these, which is handy because it can be popped out of the ground and stored when not in use.
I have a CLR spray that I use. I like to go from the top down so I start by spraying Windex on the mirror and using paper towel to clean it. Then I spray the counter and sink with CLR and use a wash cloth to wipe it off, rinsing frequently. Spray the entire outside of the toilet and the seat and the rim and wipe them off. I have a scrubbing bubbles toilet cleaner thing (link, don't buy it on Amazon though!!) for the inside of the toilet. For the shower/tub I again just spray everything with CLR and wipe clean. Then for the floor I just mop with Mr Clean soap and water. I also sometimes use a Scrub Free cleaner or Vim instead of CLR. I don't really notice a difference between any of them.
Oxyclean works as a chemical reaction with water. I would say 12ish hours for a good reaction and I would be shocked if it lasted a week. You can buy in bulk cheaper on Amazon. Right now the price is up but if you set up a price watch on camelcamelcamel.com it will alert you when it drops back down again. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D600W4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_iaBCBbMMH3H9M
I know these seem silly because they’re very inexpensive, but I slept on them at a friend’s house, and looked at the tag because they were so soft and comfortable. I ordered them for myself that morning. I’ve had them for a year now and haven’t had any issues with durability, but if I did they’re so inexpensive, it’s not a big deal to replace them. No ripping, loose threads, or pilling. I also really like that the fitted sheet has an extra elastic to hold it in place at the corners of the bed.
I’ve tried other, more expensive, sheets and these have been the best ones I’ve owned.
Hope this helps!
Edit: clarified that I ordered the sheets for myself after looking at the tag
This is the first and favorite cloth that I used, I was trying to figure out why it was so expensive but it’s because it’s a 5 pack lol. Duh
These little hereclippy things that hold plastic bags up while you fill them- I freeze a lot of food and pack a lot of lunches and these things reduce spills so much.
Don't put anything with elastic/spandex in the dryer.
Hang paired socks by their toes on a clip drying rack.
I clean my church and use an Oreck commercial vacuum. I love this thing!
Enzyme cleaner works wonders for cat pee. It’s the only thing I’ve ever found that actually works at removing the cat pee smell. I assume it would probably work for human pee as well?

This steamer is so much fun. I use it in the house and car.
Smallest size shop vac. I havethis one
It’s great because you can clean up all sorts of crap. I have a huge amount of cobwebs and a cat, so hairy cobwebs. I bought the (overpriced, but to me worth it) disposable bags, and I vacuum up all the cobwebs and hair (and sometimes actual spiders - this is why I love the bags. I do not want to deal with cleaning spiders out of my shop vac).
It’s also really effective at getting cat hair out of my velvet couch.
You can use a wet filter to vacuum up chunky wet stuff. The only downside to that being that you then have to clean the vacuum itself, so it’s not always worth it depending on the mess.
Floor squeegee is a life saver for under and around the high chair. I have this one I can literally clean up baby’s whole meal mess from my chair. It maneuvers around his high chair really well. I still have to mop pretty often, but this makes things much more manageable.
Another one for baby meals: a bunch of old tshirts or just a pack of cheap white tees if you don’t have old ones lying around. I have men’s size medium and large. I can put the tee on my baby and stretch it around the high chair before attaching the tray so that nothing gets on his clothes or falls into the seat or onto the floor from the seat. He still throws food over the sides, but this helps a ton! To make the neck fit, I pull it tight in the front and bunch it up in the back and put a silicone bib over it to hold the neck in place. Bonus: the silicone bib catches a lot of food too.
Surprisingly, the cookbook that I've made the most things from is the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook. 'Molly's Meatballs' is one of my favorite things I've ever made. They get made all the time.
HI! This might be one of the ones you're seeing on Amazon (sorry if it is!) but I've had this one since 2014 and it is still going strong. Have fun making candy!!
We bought these and they worked really well! We no longer need to use them as we got a new mattress but these definitely kept the sheet from coming off.
Clean mama method + vacuming 3-5X week. Change bedding 2X week. Change hand towels 3-4X week (FYI you can put this all in google calendar and a notification will pop up on your phone). HEPA air filter. If your allergies are bad enough you can have a doctor sign off to lower your electric bill (I live in CA). ALL home filters should have scheduled changes. Move your air filter room to room every few hours and have it on a higher setting (you move it so the noise won't bother you as much, living room after you go to bed, bedroom when your at work, kitchen when you're watching your favorite shows at night). You'll still need meds, zertec is amazing but if you're lactose intolerant allegra is okay. Allergy shots is another avenue worth exploring. Clean mama has you wiping down countertops daily, TRUST THE METHOD. Brushing cats daily and switching them to a food with no wheat gluten, sugar, or high fructose corn syrup will also help, when cats have food allergies they produce more dander (why the ever-living-fuck do cat food companies give pure carnivores non-meat will always piss me off). Another sadly common cat food allergy is chicken and chicken eggs.

-person with sever allergies, but still loves and has cats.
Hi, I was in the same boat as you last year. Vacuums never lasted long in our house and I was sick of having to re-buy over and over. What I ended up doing was changing my criteria and not searching for a cordless vacuum anymore. I ended up buying a commercial Sanitaire off Amazon for around $150. It's ugly, it's not trendy, and it's seriously one of the best purchases I've ever made. We have a large house, and to be honest the cord doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. Here's the one I bought: Sanitaire
First of all, same! I loathe scrubbing the tub/shower but also detest buildup and filth.
I swear by Rejuvenate Soap Scum Remover, and Amazon Prime currently has a great deal with two bottles for $12.99:
https://www.amazon.com/Rejuvenate-Remover-Cleaner-Ceramic-Plastic/dp/B0851N6R1X/
In my experience there has been no need for a drill brush attachment or any of that, this stuff is literally spray and rinse!
Further, I will agree with another poster that said a removable shower sprayer helps; in fact, we got an extension hose for ours to make bathing our dog easier but it has turned our tub into a much more useful HUGE sink basin in which I soak and wash many other things including car mats, storage bins and window blinds:

This is the best fitted sheet I’ve ever owned, no slipping, adequate pockets, well constructed, thick, soft fabric.
I have a full size as well, and my full size sheets always popped off the corners during the night. I think it was being caused by the topper making our mattress "too thick." I finally found some on Amazon that had an elastic band sewn in the corners (from the top and over to the side, not stretched into the corner like the normal elastic in a fitted sheet) and they work wonderfully! Here's a link to some similar to mine... I couldn't find the exact set but these have the same corner straps! Amazon Sheets
I see a lot of percale recommendations here. Any links? I'm seeing them pretty cheap on Amazon. Is this one: Nautica Percale collection ?
I like these better.
Your couch feet sit on them so when you are cleaning you just have to pop the couch off of them. A bit of a pain to lift the couch and put them in place every time you clean, however long-term they worked better for us.
Pull it out to the middle of the counter when you use it. That’ll keep the heat itself from discoloring the wall.
If there’s an exhaust that’s spattering the wall, turn the unit so it exhausts sideways over the countertop.
Another option is to get a countertop pad that’s heat resistant and lean it on the wall behind your air fryer

I have a retro step stool/chair in my kitchen; something like this stool combo. I just leave it out, and I can sit during meal prep or doing dishes, as well as reach the high things.
These are a little pricey, but they are my favorite food storage. Walmart has the best selection for size I think. They are freezer and oven safe! I often pre-make casseroles, freeze them, put one in the fridge to thaw, then pop it into the oven to cook. They come in many different sizes (I use the 5 cups size the most) and are very sturdy.
I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but I bought these and I love them. I have bought zero disposable bags since, so that's a lot that's no longer going to the landfill. Also, the inner corners are rounded so they're very easy to wash out.
Try this - it keeps the bottoms dry which prevents mold.

Once a tomato looks like it's about due, I might slice it and keep it in the fridge in a container, for sandwiches. Seems to keep them for a few extra days, and I don't really notice any texture issues in a sandwich.
I have almost a decade of Sanitation experience - they all mold without constant care, unfortunately. So your best bet is to buy ones that are easiest to care for.
I bought 2 cloth launderable ones. Every 2-4 weeks they get swapped and the dirty one just gets run in the washer with some towels. Easy peasy; worth the investment.
I use the Bounce Pet Hair dryer sheets. They seem to help. I bought FurZappers, which actually seem to help remove my own long hair from the laundry, but they aren’t supposed to be used with fabric softener or dryer sheets so they aren’t really that helpful for me.
I heat my coffee do piping hot in a microwave safe Pyrex 4 cup glass measuring cup that has a pouring spout Pyrex SYNCHKG039125 4 Measuring Cup, Clear with Red Graphics https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008XWT058/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_JAX76D23ST1Y5Z7Z0JMW You have to pour slowly at first but the spout helps it go into my thermos without making a mess.
Your anxiety is giving me anxiety. I’m an over-thinker too.
It’s okay! Take a deep breath and just realize that clothes were meant to be worn. One thing that helps me is to wear aprons. I particularly love this apron and have it in several colors.
I found The Useful Book on clearance for like $20 at B&N one day, and thought it might be worth snagging. Turns out, it has been a great reference tool for “home ec”-related info. Sure, you can probably find a lot of the info from a bit of googling, but it’s nice to just look something up quickly in it when I need it (I keep it on a shelf in my laundry/utility room).
this is not a vaccuum, but I have really long hair that sheds all over the place and it wasn't getting picked up by my dyson or my roomba. This got so much hair up from the carpet it looked brand new afterwards.
Dead Down Wind Laundry Detergent is a good one. They have an unscented one but it is currently unavailable, probably due to hunting season. I have used it on dog blankets that smelled so terribly gross and they came out great!
I've used this one as well as Tide with Febreze, which weirdly seems to release more Febreze scent the more you move around in the clothes. My husband finds the Febreze smell intolerable in his clothes.
You can also look up best laundry practices for whatever fabric you're using. If you're wearing synthetics, try switching to cotton. Same with your sheets and blankets -- cotton will breathe better and trap less scents than microfiber or polyester fleece.
I pick up the solid stuff with a paper towel and for the rest I use this (Woolite also makes one) : https://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Carpet-Upholstery-Cleaner-93521/dp/B007G1BJNS/ref=sxts_rp_s1_0?crid=3MXIAU7HUB2HL&cv_ct_cx=bissell+upholstery&keywords=bissell+upholstery&pd_rd_i=B007G1BJNS&pd_rd_r=e8c92867-6d3d-4df0-abb0-03bc1369c24e&pd_rd_w=PLkJc&pd_rd_wg=jNDJv&pf_rd_p=29dcfc78-5030-4047-b3bb-fd095cf7aa8a&pf_rd_r=BCKZD7D9K1S488D9Z5WH&psc=1&qid=1638194549&sprefix=bissell+uph%2Caps%2C389&sr=1-1-f0029781-b79b-4b60-9cb0-eeda4dea34d6
Nature's Miracle also works, but this stuff is quick and easy.
If you want less nasty everyday plates, get Corelle. They don't chip and I have rarely broken one in the seven years I've owned my set and I have to stack and hand wash dishes. They are microwavable and it's easy to get replacements. They are light weight and look good enough for nice meals. This is the style I have for everyday: https://www.amazon.com/Corelle-Embossed-Bella-Faenza-Dinnerware/dp/B00HSHWNGM/ref=sr\_1\_2?keywords=bella+faenza&qid=1637639483&sr=8-2

These are color catcher sheets. $11 on Amazon but I’ve found a different brand at Walmart in a yellow box for less than half the price. With these, you can wash all of your darks and light colored clothing together, assuming they can be washed and dried at the same settings. Game changer for me.
I usually search for 'hotel bedding' and get whats on sale,
Empyrean bedding is one of them, I've bought like 10 sheets from them. they have an assortment of colors they are hypoallergenic and deep pocket, the empyrean ones are my favourite because they have these elastic straps around each corner which keep the sheets from coming off..
I have 2 sets of Pyrex Snapware containers and I absolutely adore them! They nestle together and are oven safe!
My mom got these from Amazon (I know, I know) and they’re the closest to that old style crispy percale. She’s in her late 60s and says these feel a lot like the ones she grew up with, hanging on the line on her family farm.
If you don't want to invest in a new hutch, you could try baskets to hide the individual items? I have these baskets in various sized and I love how clean and simple they look!
Hi I am a professional sweater due to medicine!
Get a waterproof mattress cover for your mattress... like yesterday. You can also use a top sheet as a fitted sheet to go on and you can find these for very cheap.
Changing your sheet is a HUGE part of the smell, because the bacteria on the sheets is perpetuating the smell. I also sleep on a towel so that helps too.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7HXJVL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Now. This stuff has like changed my life, after I wake up I spray my sheets with this to keep them fresh in between changing the sheets.
Also flipping the mattress could be an option.
I used to supply cocktails to a couple of friends-giving parties and used these beverage dispensers. I love them. You can keep i e in the middle and I believe on the bottom to try and keep them cold (though might still need ice) and you can make them cute and put various toppings or drink add in’s to the top compartments. I wish I had a picture of my set up but they turn out very cute and everyone love them!

We did this. It wasn't intended as I always thought these must be really awful, but we have had this one for a bit now and it's been really nice. It's easy to clean and very light.
We have one in the living room and in one of the bedrooms. Both high traffic areas in our house. It's still fluffy and pretty to look at and wasn't insanely expensive.
There's tons of them on Amazon.
I use bamboo sheets on my bed. I prefer them to the highest grades of cotton. They're as soft if not softer than sheets that cost 4x as much and far more breathable.
Yes! The Conair Extreme Steam handheld series is great. They have a wide output for steam, so you can cover more area and steam things more quickly. I’ve tried smaller steamers before, and it takes so long to steam clothes.

I LOVE this dust pan. The edge is such a thin line of silicone. It gets so much closer to the floor than any plastic I’ve tried.

I use packs like these. They won't drip like ice and can be reused indefinitely. There's tons of different styles available.
I only decant or repackage items that will go bad before I can use them because the packaging is not durable and air tight or if it's difficult to store. I use the half gallon mason jars too. I also have half a dozen old gallon size pickle jars. I use these for my bulk baking supplies and they were free. The jar of pickles itself was $7. It does take a good amount of space in the fridge while we are using up the pickles. I only needed 4 or 6 jars and I have been using the same jars for over a decade. I recently broke one and am working on replacing it. I don't repackage items that get used up quickly like cereal. Those can organizers are a pain in the neck. I have a big family and I keep a big stock of can goods but I never have more than 2 to 4 cans of anything besides canned tomatoes and some veg. I would have to take off half the cans to get to what I needed. All of the cans are different sizes.
Post in your local buy nothing group and you will probably get lots of stuff. Thrift shops are great places to find interesting baskets. One of my best finds ever was a set of vintage steel hand grocery baskets. Like these but bigger for only $1 each. They are great for storing odd shaped packages.
I am going to third or fourth or whatever number we are up to now with a recommendation to use canning jars. I find the quart and half-gallon wide mouth sizes to be best (though I have a bunch of the pint sized wide mouths, I use them to store 2-cup portions of soup for weekday lunches).
Ball makes a leakproof screw-top lid that I love. Super useful and works to take the aforementioned soup to lunch with no spills, leaks or drips in the bag. Actually more expensive than the jars, but very durable. Here's a link
I also use and love and recommend Cambro food storage containers for larger quantities of ingredients, like flour, sugar, open bags of potato chips, etc. I find the 4-liter size to be especially useful. One will hold a 5-pound bag of flour. They are made for the restaurant industry and are super durable with leakproof lids and handles that make them easy to move around. Our Costco had a 3-pack for $12.00 today -- and you can always pick them up at restaurant supply stores as well. They make clear plastic ones in a rectangular shape with colored lids, and translucent white plastic ones with plain lids. I use the translucent round ones because they are less expensive and more commonly available in our area, which does not have great shopping options. Here is an example of the ones I have. .
I have a shark cordless vaccum, I would describe it as an electric sweeper. I use it after every meal and it helps a lot with young kid crumbs.
It’s nice because I can quickly take the stick off and vacuum coffee and sugar from the counter and crumbs off the high chair or a big flour mess.
On a side note, I also use this every day. It’s so inexpensive and you can fill it with your own solution. I keep Mr. Clean in it to degrease my floors and leave a nice smell. I’ve been using it for six months and love it.

Can you get something like this, where you can just sweep the debris into the machine and then you aren’t having to bend over?

are the back cushions sliding down because the spring or support in the seat is sagging maybe?
you could fix that with a support under the seat cushions

You can try this product from amazon. Also, opening the door after showering to let the steam out could help. Since it seams your bathroom fan is not adequate. If you smoke alarm is going off, that is a sign that the alarm is very old and should be replaced.
Use this. It works by drying out the fabric so that it can't release anymore smelly particles into the air.
No, I don't work for the company. I've used it on rugs & carpets for pet stains and it works.

I use this, and mix dawn ultra half and half with water. I also boil or microwave my sponge every third day or so; to keep it from smelling and keep bacterial buildup from killing my suds, and run it through the washing machine every week or so.
I believe the term was coined by Shannon Hayes in this book about reclaiming domesticity as part of an anti-consumerist lifestyle.
The textbook for this could be Home Comforts: The Art and Science of Keeping House.
I am using a iSpecle 2-Tier Dish Drying Rack which ordered from Amazon. This is good for me, easy to install and there is a tray for water collecting. Here is the link for your reference. I think it worth a 5 star review.
You need to get one of the ugly Rubbermaid or faberware ones and make sure the drain lip is all the way over the sink.

Idk why it won’t let me post this amazon link the fancy way. But I LOVE this simple human dish rack is awesome! I always have people commenting on it and then getting one themselves. It’s pricey tho.
My husband is such an active sleeper he can untuck an entire bed in one night - fitted sheets and all - with me in it.
I use these, and I love them!

Microfiber for cars. I use a huge one I got off of Amazon (LINK). While I wash dishes, I'll spread one out onto my counter and stack all my dishes on there to partially drip dry, and use the second one to polish and clean everything.
We have this automatic dispenser and it dispenses downward. The price has increased since I bought it, though: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005RR0RDG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I've been very happy with this sheet set from
Very soft, sateen. I'm not sure if that exact set comes in dark blue but I also bought some separates in a beautiful purple from that same brand (California Design) and love them as well.
I'd say in general you can't go wrong with that brand. And they're very affordable, particularly when I compare them to the nice, really expensive (like $180) sheets I've bought in the past that easily wear out and develop holes in less than 3 years. I decided the last time that I wouldn't buy expensive sheets any longer because cheaper ones seem to last just as long and still feel great sleeping in.
If you don’t care about keeping them in the cases, we put all of our games, DVD’s, and CD’s into a CD binder and it takes up hardly any space and it’s way cheaper than buying a piece of furniture to store them.
Something like this
My bad. Here’s one for 30... S&T INC. 958201 Microfiber Cleaning Cloths, Reusable and Lint-Free Towels for Home, Kitchen and Auto, 100 Pack, Light Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089KTLBCR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_WoMDFb6HFVG1F
I ended up using wash bottles, so very similar concept.
Do you know anyone who can loan you an upholstery cleaner, like a Bissell Little Green?
(That one springs to mind because I've heard Jolie Kerr of Ask a Clean Person recommend it.)
If not, can you rent or buy one?
I think that's going to be your best bet, as part of your problem is that the Oxi has probably soaked into the stuffing under your upholstery, so you need to "pull" it out.
I have this one from Amazon. It is SO soft and comfortable, it feels really nice against the skin. Washes well, too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XD9DLDY/
We have this one from amazon. We’ve only had it about a year, but so far it’s held up well and doesn’t have any signs of wear. It’s made of microfiber so it’s super soft and comfortable.
