Herbalife
* If anyone wants to watch a great documentary about Herbalife's pyramid scheme and sleazy business tactics, there's one on netflix right now called 'betting on zero':
My husband listened to it with me and he looks at me and says “it sounds like he has Bell’s Palsy lmao. He sounds like he just stood there and slurred the dumbest things he could possibly think of into a mic.
Lord have mercy. “Groupies” lmao
There is a difference between brags and humblebrags. Which is a problem on this sub, because a lot people don’t know the difference .
This is actually a great example of a humblebrag. A humblebrag, in a nutshell, is pretending to be humble or self-deprecating when they are actually just showing off.
So in this example they are taking about how this is making them so “anxious” and feel “self conscious.” But in reality they are just showing off how many people looked at this tweet. And humblebrags usually are people looking for attention.
It’s much more gross then just a straight brag in my opinion.
The creator of the word wrote a book (I miss him) . You can learn all about humblebrags from it and get his really funny feedback on them. book located here
I use a Chrome plugin called FB Purity. It lets you set a list of filters and anything containing those terms gets automatically hidden. It's literally made Facebook bearable again.
Here's my current filter list of MLM bullshit:
I also use it to prevent spoilers on shows I like:
I filter out every annoying controversy the minute it starts to flare up:
You can get rid of 90% of clickbait and share-spam just with these filters alone:
It's a must-have for an insane political season like this:
And lastly, I just get rid of shit I couldn't possibly care less about.
It's seriously awesome.
And if that doesn't work, I just hide or unfriend the offending person altogether. There are only so many filters I can use on somebody before I realize maybe they're just not for me.
He should use the extra money to buy a wallet that isn't the shitty $7 Amazon variety.
Source: Bought this wallet. Was shitty.
This is actually possible. bragging about it is stupid af but it is possible. It's also a skill that you'd have to train...
Damn, and my mates book is #8379 or so, moral of the story, don't pick 'military' as a genre. He just finished writing a book of 'christian mystic poems', I wonder if there is an Amazon Genre for that? Yeah, I went looking for Christian technology for teens (sounded like an interesting topic)... Wish you still had the link.
I'm probably nagging you at this point but would this work?
