EDIT: It may cost a fuck ton but assuming that you care about racing games (which I dont) and you play on pc I would think that you would have some sort of controller for it, even then you could plug in a 360 pad.
EDIT 2: http://blog.laptopmag.com/wpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Xbox-360-Controller-PC-how-to.jpg
No, they have a monopoly on it. If a cartridge is out of a color ink, even if the user only wants to print in black and white text, the printer will refuse to let you print using only black ink. Printers are sold at a loss so they can sell the ink cartridges at a high cost. Rather than sell smaller cartridges that use all the ink, they sell cartridges with chips that report how much ink is in a cartridge that are designed to prevent some of the ink from being used to force the end-user to buy more. That's how they make their money.
Edit: Extra content from a response I made below regarding this not being a monopoly... This is EXACTLY what a monopoly is. These companies sell specialized ink cartridges that do not work in other printers. Their printers and cartridges have hardware and software to stop the end-users from attempting to use third party cartridges and from manually refilling or replacing them. In what way is this not a monopoly? Or at least an attempt to maintain one? Few people I know that aren't in the tech savvy realm don't even know that it's possible to get some brands of ink from a manufacturer. And, I got news for you, lots of those remanufactured cartons are refilled by the manufacturer. As stated in this article, many if not most cartridges are copyrighted to prevent reproduction.

IANAL but;
If there was an audio component this is most likely illegal.
Based on expectation of privacy the video is likely illegal as well.
Because she did it in a common area and your intent was not to capture this specific activity you're probably in a grey area. >Your right is essentially limited to ensuring security and safety within your home. Keep in mind that you do not have the right to spy on people's obvious private business. link
Keeping the video probably puts you at legal risk because it serves no purpose towards your inherent rights above.
Whether or not that risk is acceptable is up to you.
>Since the -25 and below started I've been feeling a little sick. The early sunset and late sunrise has gotten me depressed and has had me sleeping far more often than i should be. My circadian rhythm fell out of whack and now I'm in the process of resurrecting it but Ive had these buddies keeping me company. Yep im going crazy.
If it makes you feel better, I'm a born and raised Calgarian, and this time of year I feel the same way. This is called seasonal affective disorder, and is quite common in Canada. Taking a vitamin D supplement, or getting a [sun lamp(http://www.toptenreviews.com/health/wellness/best-light-therapy-lamps/) will help.
You can do that in photoshop, but it takes a very artful touch to make it look decent. If you're turning a brick facade into stone, it is going to take a heck of a lot of work to make the edges and corners look right, and to re-create shadows from the roofline.
Probably the best choice is autocad or sketchup. That is what an architect would use for their renderings. There are a ton of software packages aimed at consumers that would be simpler to learn. I bet one or two of them has a professional version. I would check the ads in the trade magazines. I just googled it, apparently Masonry Design magazine exists. (I love trade rags, I work trade shows and I love to read the publications from other industries) There are a few articles in the latest issue about software for architects to do detailed, brick by brick layout, that's worth a look.
Also because sex offender laws are only about 25 years old:
> Prior to 1991, law enforcement did not have an organized, compiled list of sex offenders. So when 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was abducted in St. Joseph, Minnesota, and a search for him was launched, law enforcement did not have a comprehensive list of sex offenders or their locations to work with to help them with their investigation.

Now all you need is an industrial space heater and a quantity of powdered gypsum and you can simulate BM in your garage, for a fraction of the cost and energy usage of going to Nevada.
Oh fuck no man, temps around 40-60C are what you want to see.
I recommend that you take apart your laptop so you can remove the heat-sink from your components, then use 90% alcohol to clean the old thermal compound from the diodes of your CPU/APU and your heat-sink, then get some Arctic Silver 5 or some Ceramique thermal compound and apply enough compound that is equal in size to a grain of rice, then reapply the heat-sink and reassemble your laptop.
Here's those steps in a list:
Take apart your laptop so you can remove the heat-sink from the CPU/APU
After you've removed the heat-sink, clean off the heat-sink and the CPU/APU diode with 90% rubbing alcohol
After cleaning off the components, apply new thermal compound, apply a 'grain of rice' sized amount of compound in the center of the CPU/APU diode
DO NOT SPREAD THE COMPOUND, after you've applied a 'grain of rice' sized amount of thermal compound, reinstall the heat-sink -- check out this video on why you shouldn't spread the compound - note, I say use the rice method since laptop CPU/APUs diodes are much smaller than desktop CPUs
After reinstalling the heat-sink, put your laptop back together and boot it up
38-45C should be the temperature when the CPU/APU is idle
50-60C should be the temperature when the CPU/APU is on load [like when playing a game]
You can get Arctic Silver 5 or Ceramique from Radioshack, they also have CPU/APU cleaner if you don't have 90% rubbing alcohol.
Make sure to watch some videos of how to install heat-sinks to CPU/APUs
I hope I've been of some help :)
EDIT: Get a cooling pad like this, hell, if you have a shoebox, cut a hole in it and put a fan(s) underneath the air intake or the CPU/APU
IAQ specialist and Hvac tech. Research is paramount for your particular situation, as such I recommend removing the eac and replacing it with a regular box filter, most eac units support removal of the cell, and turning it off electrically so that a regular 4-5 inch filter can fit in the space.
Personal recommendation is to add a UV that does not produce ozone, this immediately disqualifies most UV lights on the market. My preferred go to would be the APCO UV system. Have it myself, install it regularly, does not produce ozone as the bulb is a 2 layer. The Halo and other lights produce ozone over the EPA standard and as such I would shy away from them.
For an APCO install you’d be looking at $1000~ Otherwise remove the eac and use a box filter you can replace every 3 months

I have a vivid memory of seeing the dancing baby appear after the winning screen of a Roller Typing minigame. I didn't realize it at the time but I just saw my first meme...
Looks like a fun variation. For this time out, have them weigh it for you. For rough guess work take a pound of butter in one hand and the bread in the other; evaluate - then switch hands for each and evaluate. Because one arm in stronger than the other, this works OK. Next - and most importantly get a food scale. They are cheap, easily stored in their box if not used often and indispensable for serious baking, for recipe scaling and for a ton of one off questions. I prefer the mechanical to the digital at home, because, while they can become inaccurate over time, they also tolerate being left in their box for a while without battery leakage problems.
At this season of heavy baking and lots of recipe scaling, I can use my scales daily for weeks. In the post holiday winter and the pre "Putting food by" spring. I may not touch the scales unless there is an event. HTH ...probably more answer than you wanted, but the recipe looks yummy ...
I have to say, googling around, they don't seem to shabby or unstable but then I don't see anything specific about their actual manufacturing quality and their warranty is just 10 years:

That being said this one is a bit disconcerting:

For self-published, I think more than $5 is asking too much, and the ones I usually see are around $3-$4. And sale price is generally around $1.99. Depends on the length of the book and so on, but if it looks professional, like the author made it with care, then I don't think asking $4 to $5 is too much, though I expect many readers would bump that down a dollar or so.
If a person reads a lot, like I do, I'm not desperate and have plenty to tide me over while I wait for a sale, so the lower the price, the better. If a book interests me and is only $3, I might buy it instantly - more, and I'll put it on my wishlist which I check daily for sales.
You should look into Amazon's CreateSpace, which can not only get your book edited, arrange for cover art, print on demand, etc, but also can do consultations to give you advice on things like pricing and distribution. There are other companies that do this sort of thing also without tying you to Amazon alone - Outskirts Press, Lulu, Inkshares are a few well reviewed. Or check out this page
Allaire thinks bitcoin, and blockchains are merely another technology like a web browser:
>“It’s highly unlikely that any of us will be using Bitcoin in five or ten years. In the same way that — how many of us use NCSA Mosaic or Netscape Navigator?”
This is a fundamental mistake in characterizing bitcoin. Bitcoin is a network. Networks success relies on the number of nodes in the network. In this case, the number of nodes is the number of people using bitcoin.
The head start that bitcoin has is very large, and it matters a great deal more than it does with a browser. Networks matter because to do anything with it requires other people to be using the technology. With a browser, it matters didly squat about how many other people are using that technology. With a network, the value of the network rises with the square of the number of nodes (this is called Metcalfs law).
Bitcoin is far more like ebay than it is a browser. Ebay has few major competitors. Some quick googling reveals ebay has 162 million registered users. It's nearest competitor has 2 million.
There's probably a billion people that have heard of bitcoin, and a large amount (I have no idea how many.. millions, maybe?) that use it. How many people have heard of ethereum? That gives us some idea of the comparative size of each network.
Now, that's not to say that the bitcoin lead is insurmountable. We've seen this happen before with MySpace losing out to Facebook. Bitcoin could suffer the same fate due to this low blocksize nonsense limiting the network size. If we don't solve that problem soon, the competition will catch up and overtake bitcoin.
At this point however is far from clear what will happen. Making predictions this early in the game is foolish.

I hope the poor little bugger is alright! Awful that he is now frightened to use technology... playing devil's advocate though; a couple of points
1) Samsung has officially recalled these phones world wide, thus it is difficult to feel 100% sympathy for those affected by bad batteries in light of the wide media attention etc.
2) Cell phones probably shouldn't given to children so young as it can lead to behavioural problems. This excludes, ofc, emergency cell phones, which Note 7 is not.
That being said manufacturers have a responsibility to consumers and a mandatory recall really should have happened already.
Do you know what version you used to play? I've played a bunch, and the spin-off games too. I like them all. Yukon Trail is the easiest one, since I've never died or got seriously hurt there. Africa and Amazon Trail are the hardest ones. Africa especially, because it's rage inducing. In Yukon and Africa Trail, since your characters move from one country to another, there is a system that forces you to get a Visa otherwise you will be denied entry and have to go back. In Yukon Trail it wasn't so much of a hassle, but in Africa Trail I was caught by surprise (not to mention the interface is confusing), and ragequit.
I never liked typing games because they want you to type like this and that's uncomfortable to me. I learnt typing by myself, and I use all my fingers to type. It's not uncomfortable and I type relatively fast. 70-80 words per minute. I think if I did use Mavis Beacon and other programs my typing speed would be severely limited.
I was more joking, but looking at my comment I guess I should have added a smiley or two so folks didn't think I was serious.
Actually, a friend of mine handed me his android tablet and he had to carefully walk me through just about everything.
Here's a screenshot of what I was looking at. Actually, that screenshot is REALLY clean compared to what his desktop looked like.
So the home button kind of looks like a house, but it's been kind of stylized and is in an odd location. I didn't recognize it as a house. Also (I don't know why I think this) but I think a more intuitive location for Home might have been in the corner, not the second icon over. They did the same with the back button.
When I played with my sister's phone, the icons didn't seem as confusing but since it's still android, why the inconsistency?
I think manufacturers have to do something to make their devices looks unique among all the other devices, and that can work against them in respect to consistency and usability.
I bought an ipad for my mother, and although there are a few hurdles, she can always get out of trouble by pressing the home button, and if someone ever hands her another apple device, it will work the same way.
I could not have handed her an android tablet in good conscience, and it would have been really difficult if she got stuck somewhere to figure out how to get out of trouble. Even over the phone it would have been tough.
This is actually possible. bragging about it is stupid af but it is possible. It's also a skill that you'd have to train...
Affiliate Marketing is (briefly explained) a way to monetize your website. If you go to (for example) http://www.toptenreviews.com/ there are a lot of links to Amazon. If someone clicks on them and buys something at Amazon, the owner of the website will earn some money. Amazon's Affiliate Program pays a lot and an entire business grew around it. Many companys rely on Amazon for their website's income.
And yes, you can definitely do it. I always thought that I'm a lazy prick that can't achieve anything. But Affiliate Marketing showed me that that wasn't true. You can decide your work pace and how much you want to do per day.
As i already mentioned above, the best way is to start with a free course, like for example "FIMP". https://stoppingscams.com/FIMP/ Just take a look at some of the videos and maybe you'll like it.
DH was good in finding this list for things you need, including how many. For sifting through brands, the big items (stroller, car seat, pack n' play) we tested in person to identify what we liked and how they felt. Other items we just got whatever from Target.

Good luck. I don't know what exactly you mean by "pros," but you should use a company which specifically advertises itself as a hard drive recovery service in order to try and salvage any data on your drive. I would go with one that uses a cleanroom. Here's a list.
I personally don't do that. I just look at the plans and hit nails. With that said a quick google search shows quite a few different programs.

Well, here's a link to some reviews of some pads. It's basically a pad, with a fan. You keep your laptop on it You usb plug it into your laptop and a fan will start cooling it from be low. Super comfortable to have in your lap.
Minimal. The iris chip in the SP17 i7 does happen to be a GPU that can dip into the regular ram ( since it's an integrated chip), but that's not the real bottleneck.
The iris chip itself is only capable of so much. To give you an idea, the video memory for the chip (memory specific to the GPU) is only 64MB (eDram). The additional CPU ram it would use would be tiny. It's A lot more capable than the chip in the i5 model, but it's still not fast enough to make use of the extra ram a 16gig machine would offer. I would go with 8gig ram and only go to a more expensive i7 version if you wanted more hard drive space.
You can also buy a micro SD card for extra space however ( wouldn't put games on a SD thought). Good for photos, documents, videos etc.
I've included a couple links if your curious

According to this 1-800-Flowers is the best and from a quick look there are plenty of options in your price range.
The thing with these online delivery services is reliability is the only thing they really have so I've found most of them to be pretty good.
I'd recommend looking for inspiration from higher end florist (through instagram and the like) and then trying to transfer the looks that catch your eyes over to the cheaper options on the delivery websites. You won't get as nice looking stuff but it is best to start nice so you know what you are looking for in the cheap options

No, that's inadequate cooling in technical terms. If you have a 'gaming' laptop, a cooling pad might help. Still sucks when they design PCs with form over function in mind.
With a desktop PC there's no excuses, sounds like a bad HW set-up.
If you are having lots of brands in your mind, then its better to go through the specifications of trusted brands. I have found something helpful to choose the right brand for you: Read more at: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/air-conditioners/buying-guide http://www.toptenreviews.com/home/hvac/best-wall-air-conditioners/

I hope we can highlight that Mico will be an incredible Moto Mod! 🙂 Thanks for the continued contribution. Ross M | Modularis Systems

>Numerous rods form a fuel assembly, which is an open lattice and can be lifted into and out of the reactor core. In the most common reactors these are about 4 metres long. A BWR fuel assembly may be about 320 kg, a PWR one 655 kg, in which case they hold 183 kg uranium and 460 kgU respectively. In both, about 100 kg of zircaloy is involved.
So 4 metre long fuel rod assembly puts out 20 handheld dryers of heat? It takes 4.186 joule per gram of water to raise 1 degree celsius.
>When it comes to daily usage, the most popular beauty “appliance” is the hand-held blow dryer. The most common wattage is right around 1,875 watts. The length of time you use it is really what determines the cost:
>
>1 hour = 1.857 kWh
>
>30 minutes = .937 kWh
>
>15 minutes = .468 kWh
>
>5 minutes = .156 kWh
So 20 handheld dryers going for 1 hour would be 37.14 kWh. That would be 133,704,000 joules. In 1 hour that would be able to raise the temp of 31,940,754.90 grams of water 1 degree celsius. That would be 70,354 lbs of water. Which would have a volume of 31,940,754.90 mL. Or 8,437.86 gallons of water. That's a 3rd of the volume of my pool. So 20 handheld dryers would take 3 hours to warm up my decent sized pool 1 degree. That's actually a decent amount of energy.
Filtering does NOTHING to remove the dissolved minerals that cause scale. For that you must have reverse osmosis or a sodium chloride water softening system. Filtration will remove some contaminants and off-tasting solids.
http://www.toptenreviews.com/health/wellness/best-water-filter-systems/
This site is non-scientific but you’ll see that the list of stuff they’re testing filters for are huge objects and huge molecules like herbicides. Scale is produced by calcium (lime) that precipitates out of water at the molecular level.

Sadly this is a common issue. It would be great if there were a service where you could go to a local store and have them process bitcoin for you for cash. Meaning, you have the customer go to a place like a grocery store, pay a company, when those payments get to say $100, they process a bitcoin transaction to you.
It could be done as an invisible system where the end user doesn't even see what's going on, they just pay and get a confirmation number.
What about a payment thru FaceBook or some of the other pay systems. Here's a list of some, I've heard of FaceBook and Venmo, but not the others.

I'm in a similar situation. I want to use our engagement pictures in Christmas gifts for our parents, but we won't have them until this week so they'll need to be pickup in store.
I did some Googling and found one place ranking Walgreens highest and another CVS. Personally I prefer matte photos over glossy and the only place that does for pickup in store seems to be Walmart :( So now I have to determine whether my desire for matte photos is greater than my desire to not give ~$7-$8 to Walmart.

From Said Article: >In a report about this topic, CBS News noted, "Nearly every digital copier since 2002 contains a hard drive like the one on your personal computer storing an image of every document copied, scanned or emailed by the machine." If you opened up a fax machine and removed the hard drive, you would find loads of information that is better left destroyed.
Your task is quite ordinary, so I'd say you can select any backup tool you are comfortable with. Almost every software vendor offers free trial versions of their products, so you won't have to buy a pig in a poke. Obviously, I would recommend Acronis True Image (as you can see from my nickname, my opinion cannot be considered unbiased=)), however, ther is a bunch of other tools. Take a look at this article for comparison table.
My assumption was Toren was made from the previous inn owner. I mean, Toren is male, which I think can be seen by the bone structure. Based on a cursory googling it looks like the differences are somewhat subtle in skeletal structure (http://www.toptenreviews.com/home/articles/the-difference-between-male-and-female-skeletons/), but it's the kind of thing that you'd think might have been mentioned at some point.

Time Machine (build-in backup solution on Mac) keeps a copy of everything on your Mac.
If you prefer to back up separate files, you might want to take a look at third-party backup software. If speaking about Acronis backup solutions, in your case Acronis True Image would be the optimal choice. Here is the list of what you can protect with it: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIMAC2018/index.html#3407_2.html Plus you can protect mobile devices too https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ATIMAC2018/index.html#40284.html
Free trial version is available on our website so that you could check if it is what you are looking for.
Other backups solutions also usually offer trial version and you will be able to compare. This article for example names several Mac backup solutions available on the market: http://www.toptenreviews.com/software/backup-recovery/best-mac-backup-software/
Laptops have limited heat dissipation capabilities due to the constrictions of their size (small fans, small heatsinks, limited ventilation). As such, the temperatures can vary greatly depending on environment, length of use etc. The temperature obviously also varies with the fan speed, but in laptops the blower fans are so unbearable at high speeds changing the fan curve creates noise problems.
A cooling pad uses large, quiet fans to blow air upwards. This means your intakes will have a fresh supply of cool air that is being pushed inwards, and not just relying on the pressure of your exhaust fans to pull cool air. As well, the cooling pad fans will keep your exhaust ports from building up heat.
At the very least you will get less noise from your laptop blower and possibly reduced temperatures, depending on how good the airflow already was. For example, in your setup, if air is being exhausted on the back of your laptop it is most certainly bouncing off the wall and building up.
It's possible you may also increase the performance of your cpu. Laptops downclock their CPUs/GPUs to keep noise and heat in check.
I would recommend this one. It has the highest pressure of any model and the only drawback is comfort which you obviously don't care about if it's on a shelf.

> The first of these is a curved keyboard layout, where the size and spacing of the keys is consistent, resulting in a more familiar feeling for your hands that is easy to adjust to.
> The second is a wave-shaped frame with mechanical keys of varying heights that correspond to the varying lengths of your fingers to create a more-natural fit for your hands. The third is a contoured, cushioned palm rest that supports your wrists during long stretches of typing.

I was skeptical and that's why I'm asking on here.
Invest in a watercooling solution or a few more fans, if its a laptop a good cooler like This one
There are many businesses that will do this for you. Their services are pretty similar. This site lists some of the many good ones. http://www.toptenreviews.com/services/internet/best-online-printing-services/
Thanks for all the advice! I don't have a specific device yet that I will be using, was thinking that I'd get some tips before doing any purchases.
Also I was starting to look at these kind of pens for laptops and also smaller devices: http://www.toptenreviews.com/electronics/family/best-digital-pens/ Would these work well? Because last year I already had my laptop with me pretty much all the time on lectures, why I want to do this is because I can't stand all the papers and notebooks that I have to bring with me all the time, I want to go digital :)

4K projectors exist and 4K 70" TVs exist.
Based on size, I would likely choose the TV (practically unaffected by ambient or daytime light). If I were going 100"+, I'd be looking for a projector and screen.
I understand the desire for an at-home pay-per-view option for new releases, because that would be extremely convenient.
If you don't host a lot of movie watching events with people, I'm not sure you'd want a full theater-style popcorn machine.
Here are some reviews of smaller, affordable machines. The big ones will of course make more, but then you're looking at potentially 10x the price and more cleaning requirements as well.
> I have no space for a desktop
> I need to carry around my laptop, and I never play games
Sounds like it'd fit your use case. We are talking ultrabook, not netbook, right?
When you talked to AT&T did you mention you were going to switch companies? Usually that lights more of a fire under their butts.
Maybe look into satellite internet? http://www.toptenreviews.com/services/internet/best-satellite-internet-providers/
Is the one you're referencing the Acoustech? It looks alright. How would I incorporate that into the current system? Would a preamp/receiver of some kind be necessary?
Or could I just use some kind of banana plug to 1/4inch cables?

IMO - The HD 8 that came out this year is a great cost to value. The HDX 7 from 2013 has better stats than that though because it initially cost more. It's not a true comparison.

It's about the best thing out there for on your computer software, but it can be very buggy and glitchey.

I've tried them all, but stuck with quicken.
Sorry, had some problems at work yesterday and never got back onto Reddit until now. ;) It's not terribly difficult but understandably intimidating if you've never done it before. You need to use a recovery piece of software that can access the unwritten data and then copy that data to a different drive with enough space to store that data. These days I've been using Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional to recover data from troubled drives. It's pricey but has one of the best UI's.

It's rated #2 on top 10 Reviews, but I actually prefer it to Data Rescue. (At least the last time I was shopping around. ;))

According to me amazon is good for buying books where you can get discount offers and collection of all kind of books. For more information about the other book stores you can visit http://www.toptenreviews.com/services/home/best-online-bookstores/. Here you will find other stores which are ranked for top 16 in 2016.
Fax machines can keep records as well. Guy my dad worked with got his ass sued off when they looked at the fax ribbon and were able to prove he was faxing confidential documents to a competitor he was trying to get a job with.
Goodsync is my favorite... but there a ton of utilities that can do this. Here's some lists that attempt to compare them:

Data recovery is an expensive business, and if hire some data recovery services from companies like the one mentioned here, then they will charge you anywhere between $5-$5000. While I will not suggest, you spend that much of money just for recovering few photos or videos. Instead, you can take the help of free software which lets you retrieve data from your SD card.
My model is a LiftMaster, has a battery backup unit as well.
Looks like this model, not sure on the model number though

What was the 'correct' answer ?
'VHS tape'
'VCR cassette'
'Vertical Helical Scan',
'Video Home System Cassette Tape' ?
HDMI 2.0 cable is the same as 1.4 (and 1.3), as long as it is high speed cable (capable of 1080p and more). You can read more about it here http://www.toptenreviews.com/electronics/articles/which-hdmi-cable-do-you-need/.
I use the LP2's daily in school and work and they've held up well so far. The cable is Kevlar with an angled plug so it doesn't get messed up in your pocket. I've had the cable get hooked onto corners quite a few times at work and there's no damage to them yet. It comes with 2 different cables and the ear shields are customizable. If you want a set that will last try them out
Tons of review websites out there to choose from, most seem to put one of three processors at the top; so it looks like you have a few options to play off each other in your negotiations. Probably worth checking out sites like - TopTenReviews, FeeFighters, or CheapestMerchantAccounts - as I would think these things keep changing as time goes on
I don't think the planet's primary producer of pornographic material --and Internet pornography in particular, by far-- can realistically expect to make such a request without being laughed out of the room.
I'd say these pictures are from Rosetta Stone, the language learning program. It shows you all these pictures of people doing various things, like eating, laughing, etc. and speaks to you in the other language describing the situation in the picture, like this.
