You obviously don't know how the constitution works. The 10th Amendment gives the states policing powers to enforce laws and mandates to protect public health.

Some church's have young adult groups and that would be a good place to meet people. Sunday morning service is also good.
You could try joining a group with interests you have. I know there is a ukulele group on Kauai and that might be fun. There are probably fitness groups that meet. Match.com has a kauai specific group and I think Craigslist has a dating category also. Let the people around you know that you are looking and they might arrange something for you.
Sure. But there are other forms of extreme weather that have hit us, such as floods and droughts. We recently set a new US record for extreme rainfall. There have also been weird events like the 2012 hailstorm.
Looks like we're going to get quite a bit of rain and wind through the weekend. I feel bad for my north shore neighbors whose houses aren't even repaired yet from the intense rain months ago. :(

Buy this - Diatomaceous Earth and a sprayer:
https://www.amazon.com/Harris-Diatomaceous-Powder-Duster-Included/dp/B07D4QW6DZ/
** Make sure you wear a N95 mask when you spray the powder, or you will destroy your lungs. No joke **
Spray it all around your house, a thin layer on the floor and counter tops. Use a broom and sweep the dust into any cracks, nooks, crannies, corners, baseboard. This will stop the ants from coming.
If you use Terro, you need to leave it out there for a few weeks, allow all the ants to come and eat it, and they will eventually die off.
It's possible they use delivery people (Paper Boys!) on-island but USPS for other locations. USPS is about as cheap as you can get for delivery, from Hawaii it is effectively a subsidized service.
Have you tried getting in touch with: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60612-d2329884-Reviews-Kauai_ONO_560-Hanalei_Kauai_Hawaii.html
I don't know them but I'm going to see them when I'm on island again.
Well, I'm looking at Windy: https://www.windy.com/-Satellite-satellite?satellite,21.821,-156.736,7
Especially look at the wind accumulation page. Until an hour ago the white band in the middle (which means you're going to get blown away) was hitting Oahu and the North Shore of Kauai.
The Wunderground track shows the right turn but the forecast hasn't been updated.
I'm not saying the wind won't get here, but considering that Maui and the Big Island never saw winds over 25mph and Oahu right now has a max of only 16mph, I pretty much doubt the 90% chance is still in effect.
I'm not at all saying we're in the clear but it is looking really good.
reddit hates link shorteners so in case that gets auto-removed again:
AirBnb is a great place to find cheap vacation housing.
North is way more beautiful.
The weather is completely unpredictable.
I got some from Times Supermarket a couple of days ago. I had heard they were stocked and they seemed like they had a reasonable amount when I was there.
Amazon has fairly cheap bidets, we picked up a couple of them, they were really easy to install and would be really easy to uninstall whenever you need to.
Buy the Kaua'i Revealed guidebook. It has a special section for adventures!
Armen and Lori's Kauai Guide is a good companion to Kauai revealed. It is available in paperback but it's small enough to keep on Kindle or similar phone app and quickly reference.
