I think I bought WayV’s Take Over the Moon album because of how gorgeous the cover is lol. The digital cover art is also so pretty and on theme!
Hello. I am not sure if this is the book. But thanks to other redditor I now have a lead of what book it could be. The cover is similar to this.
A Smart Girl's Guide to Manners: The Secrets to Grace, Confidence, and Being Your Best Book by Nancy Holyoke
Suho's Self Portrait album is honestly one of the prettiest albums ever, he himself hired the artist to make sure the album went in the way he wanted to and it paid off https://www.amazon.in/Suho-EXO-Self-Portrait-Folded-Photocards/dp/B085LCF1VC
NGDA Act 2 by Taemin was so pretty too, the package was great and fitted very well with the theme of the album , I liked the package for Act 1 too but I think it was better for Act 2
Atlantis by SHINee was super pretty and the aesthetic and the colors were great, I haven't brought it ( I bought DCM though ) but as soon as I have extra money I will, I also really liked EXO's Obsession packaging, and the whole album was so good in all senses
This is an interesting question.
I'd like to link this journal article of Kyong Yoon on the hybridity of K-pop, which argues that it is easy for international fans to appropriate (yes, this is the actual terminology used) K-pop to their own contexts for their consumption precisely because of its hybrid nature.
Strictly speaking, there is really nothing inherently "Korean" with K-pop and it's always been a hybrid cultural product of globalization aka it was already Westernized in the first place. The article also argues that its hybridity is what makes it palatable or attractive to international fans.
So the conclusion here is that as opposed to having a "trade-off" between cultures, K-pop has always been not strictly Korean, which presents an entry point for international fans to insert themselves into K-pop. In specific, Yoon actually mentions how K-pop is similar to a world stage where you can easily participate as a fan, without many barriers. Culture is not so cut and dry that it's choosing between one or the other.
With regards to the stereotypes that you mentioned, I don't think those are necessarily "Korean." They exist in other cultures as well, simply as forms of preferences (preference for skin color, being young, being thin, etc). With that being said, these stereotypes are harmful, not only in K-pop but in every industry/culture that they exist in. They should be changed not to cater to international fans (which I think is an absolutely shallow and inhumane reason to address these serious preferences) but to advocate for greater well-being for all the people who are affected by these harmful preferences.
The number sign is Markdown (the formatting reddit uses) for making something a header. If the first key of a new paragraph is a number sign, Markdown will interpret that as you wanting to make that a header. So if you edit your comment to remove the number sign, the formatting will be fixed. Alternatively, if you want to keep the number sign in your comment, you can add a backslash before the number sign to fix your formatting. A backslash in Markdown is interpreted as an escape key (the key you use when you want to display the character in your comment, not use it for Markdown formatting).
You didn't answer my question, and I'd love to show you but you don't like links, I'M SO SORRY FOR MENTIONING THEM 💔
Do you want me to copy and paste the links' contents? Would that help your poor eyes see better? 🥺❤️
Like I said, super expensive - a standard Spotify Premium sub costs ₱129 a month in the Philippines and is cheaper if you share or are a student, this account is charging ₱450 for one month of Melon. I would also guess Melon has ways of detecting these accounts - you can see in the guide for the shared account they're saying not to stream simultaneously or the account will be locked. I'd say most of them get filtered out and their impact is minimal.
This is awful to hear about, OP. I will signal boost everything I see relating to this issue. I hope more people can find out about this by doing so. I hope that you can keep the strength out there, wherever you are, and be safe always. :)
Since a part of OP's post discussed security issues, if anyone in this thread concerned about cyberecurity, here are some tips for being more secure online:
two members from the boyz went the whole nine miles as the main couple from corpse bride.
>what character do you want your faves to be? or what costume do you want them to wear?
i would give almost anything to see pentagon's jinho as one piece's chopper or bleach's hitsugaya toshiro with his unleashed bankai
>Unfortunately, no. I am unable to remember clearly the title. But it's a pink book. Ladies or girl was on the title. My mind may be tricking me because its pink color but yea I remember thinking 'this is for women?'. It has age range for readers (9-13 years old??) but still applicable for my age at that time which was 15 or even for all ages. It talks about the basic etiquette, from traditional to nethiqquete
Little Pink Book of Etiquette op ?
> I dont know if this may help, but it was a gift to our neighbor from Singapore. It was one of those books lent when my mom once borrowed books to read from them.
🤗
Glad to hear that. I have mostly been a casual fan but still Kpop and social media itself started taking over my time too much but then I downloaded an app for blocking apps to block kpop Content sources except music and social media in general. I set it on times where I have to do a task or a hobby to not get distracted. I also try to plan my day ahead or in the beginning of each day. Yeah it's sad to admit but I have to manage me somehow.
Ps. I also block reddit as well 🙄🙄
Hi! I am not completely sure if this is it but thanks to the help of other redditor because I now have a lead.
This is the book: A Smart Girl's Guide to Manners: The Secrets to Grace, Confidence, and Being Your Best Book by Nancy Holyoke
Wait. I think this is the book?! I searched Little Pink Book of Etiquette and this was also recommended. I am not 100% sure but the cover is somehow similar to this. I mean the cover as I remember.

Unless youtube music was previously unavailable in OP's country. Then OP won't know, since these audio versions may have been blocked in their country.
These were the countries that had it in 2018. And this bunch of countries were only added as recently as a few months ago.
As a Canadian I have to say that this hobby can be quite costly as albums, depending on where you shop, can reach up to 50$. I make it a point to keep a up to date Wishlist/Collection, removing albums I no longer want and adding new ones, this limits me from making impulse choices. As a college student I usually buy Used albums, with a few new ones from my fav groups. I do not buy PCs as of right now but I have been considering it, wouldn't spend much on them though. A lot of miscellaneous Merch, unless I think they are very important, I also don't get, I do have a BT21 karaoke mic but its seen quite a few uses.
Point of this comment being: It is vital for you to manage your money with this hobby because it is easy to fall into overconsumerism and just buying for the sake of buying. Give yourself a monthly budget on how much you feel comfortable spending, without harming your ability to pay your necessities, and try not to exceed them! There isn't such a thing as a universal "too much" as we all have different financial situations, but if its taking over your wallet, and space it might be time to pull back.
This gets into every concert except for concerts that have no-bag policies. Haven't had trouble getting into 4/4 concerts with it.
I've got the Hyunjin spoon and chopsticks lol. Technically not his - apparently they belong to another skz member - but he sent a photo of the smiley spoon. I love them! They're super cute.
Key’s Bad Love album was pretty well done. It’s cool that it looks like a retro toy gun in packaging.
I feel like SM does miss out though on some pretty good opportunities to make cool albums. Like Onew - Dice could have been made into a board game box. Or NCT’s Glitch Mode would be awesome disguised as a video game.
I guess it’s only when artists get involved for SM with it that they come out cool looking, like Red Velvet’s Feel My Rhythm album that looks like a music box
I bought a notebook from Spoonz thanks to NU'EST's endorsement with them. They each represented a character (similar to BT21), and I bought the one Ren (my bias) represented. It's a bit heavy to carry around, so I just keep it at home, but I love writing in it.
The other purchase I made thanks to NU'EST wasn't an endorsement per se, but I bought some Mac Powder Kiss lipsticks because Minhyun wore them in a photoshoot. I got Lasting Passion and Mull It Over. I like how they feel on the lips, and pre-pandemic, I wore them out a lot.
Lmfaooo you really don't seem to know much right? Not groups more problematic? What about exo and Bts BIG racist record? In fact Bts have some shitty past I know because I used to stan this group, and you can find posts about it in the internet ( search Exo problematic tumblr or Bts problematic ) also NCT have been hella problematic lately as well (although idk if more than the other two groups above) it seems you should look out more before and overall off the top of my head Key, Onew and Minho (fatshaming/sexual assualt) a guy from Monsta x (I don't remember his name but he was racist) Jackson, Mark and JB ( both racism and homophobia) from Got7, Mamamoo (racist), Wendy from Rv (racist), some guys from Nuest(blamed of sexual assault and misogynist), Zico ( a bunch of stuff lol):etc etc...
Like a lot of kpop groups arent really unproblematic I don't even search a lot about groups but for some I have done I have found stuff they have said or done that weren't ok (mostly racist stuff) so again Kpop stans are big hypocrites who judge others without knowing the shit their groups have said I even remember seeing bts stans coming at Suju when RM had to apologise for his (many) racist past comments back in 2017 (ofc the other members didnt apologized for anything lol) and you don't see ppl talking about this and many left that in the past bc "he apologized" when then want to "cancel Suju" for things they said years ago.
And Siwon already apologised for his comment and and tbh I think it was a misunderstanding but whatever is ok if you don't want to support him but like I showed a lot of the others have supported the LGBTQ community before and Shindong has grown as a person so I don't think is ok to blame them for stuff one of their members did or shit they said more than 10 years ago.
Anyways that is all what I will say to you about this because at this point I said everything.
i have anxiety as well so i get it!
i store mine in ultrapro 9pocket sleeves, i think most collectors use them. some people say you should also put the cards in pennysleeves but i personally don't because the ultrapro are safe anyway, but to each their own!
And not the first time, the author Murray Stein, who wrote Map of the Soul Persona, Map of the Soul Shadow and Map of the Soul Ego , and anothers Psychology books, by inspiration of the music of bts wrote Map of the Soul 7: Persona, Shadow & Ego in the World of BTS, he wanted to explore the boys' songs that were inspired by his own books and Carl Jung , who does that? I found it amazing great authors being inspired by the work of bts.
They change the specifics, but overall they maintain a dreamworld concept that gears towards a dark undertone. Like Summer Holiday, their latest mini seems lighter than usual, almost the usual summer-y girl group concept, but the title is essentially a murder ballad about obsessive love.
The sceptre lightstick matches the cloak perfectly. The fans are basically going to look like a cult 😆
Oh that's annoying. Might be too many people trying to use it at the same time.

So sorry for being late
Love Paint would be a painting of a painting on an easel. On the painting in a painting is large swashes of bright colour. Painted on the painting is a paintbrush painting the painting in the painting. There’d be a paint cans on the ground dripping with paint. Apart from the colour, everything else is in lighter hues so the colour really pops. (I’m really sorry for this description. It’s not up to par exactly and the beginning is a bit puzzling)
I’m sorry but for some reason I thought of cults when I listened to Lilili Yabbay 🤭 but I also thought of dancing in the dark with one sliver of light :D so like a dark grey background and there’d be a small silhouette of a figure off to the left side in like a cool contemporary dance position (your choice of which to imagine). A small sliver of light, like a spotlight, shines upon this figure and is the only thing illuminating the dark
I'm very late to the party, but I actually remember reading about sibling order psychology during a course in Social Psychology (it was in this book). So there is some truth to that! MBTI on the other hand, was indeed shredded to pieces.
Depends on the amazon sellers. You linked an official seller. That counts. Meanwhile other sellers that arent from the official distributors that ARE hanteo family do not count.
I don't think it's the same thing, but I've worn a Cosrx pimple patch to school after putting makeup on top of it and it wasn't that bad
> but personally ive noticed when i use apple earphones on my own laptop, the sound,,,, is pretty bad lol and im wondering whether those headphones would still work on a Samsung phone and a laptop that kind of sucks
If the sound from your source sucks you'd probably be better off using one of these to replace the sound card in your laptop. I have one of these and they greatly improve the sound quality compared to those that are built into laptops.
This post is right on time.. I've been wanting to get some good headphones. I can really tell the differences when i play my music via phone, earphones, ipad and computer speakers... I have been doing some "research" for some headphones but i haven't checked out my cart because i'm still browsing around..
Currently looking at Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT Wireless Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones but i'm not sure if i want to go wireless or stick to wired headphones...
