Make sure your WBID has the latest save by playing a Faction Wars battle.

I have done this two ways:

1. Set the device in Airplane mode before launching the game. If you pick a kard you don't want, delete your save and reload the game. You'll have to go through the tutorial intro, but it might be worth the time to you.

2. Use Helium to backup your save. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en. Set in Airplane mode before launching game. If you don't want the kard, reload your save from Helium, then launch the game again. Once you get the kard you want, lock it in by turning off Airplane mode, then playing Faction Wars to save it to your WBID.

It also allows you to cheat the Kard Pack purchase system. Long story short, you backup your save and buy a pack. Shitty result? Overwrite your save. Rinse, repeat. Easy but tiresome way of getting gold kards from the 30k koin pack.

I don't think that's correct. Even intuitively, rolling a 9% chance 20 times is much more than 30.

Last time I cleaned out my FOS packs, I set up my click sequence and just let it run. Took about two hours to clear ~180 packs, interrupted only to restart hourly quests.

I got this bug when I wasn't connected to online. I have a app on my phone though that lets me do the drop-down menu any time, and when I do that it kills the loading screen for some reason. Swipe Status Bar

Being online is much better. Having to use this workaround sucks.
