There's another option! Look for a push from behind walker. We have this one and it's wonderful. It's stable enough that they can pull to stand on the handle, then walk being it in a totally normal stance. It has lights and sounds and fun stuff on the front so they can sit in front of it and play, too.
Walkers are banned for sale here in Canada, and every time it comes up in conversation someone says "oh, yeah, my uncle/dad/cousin fell down the stairs in one of those".
Silk play scarves. This is my go-to first birthday gift, although they won't see a ton of use until your child is closer to two. My kids are nine and six and they still come out almost daily. They are used to wrap "gifts" or hide or build forts or be superhero scarves or a million other forms of imaginative play.
I used the Earth Mama herbal sitz bath for pregnancy & postpartum. I liked it & it’s on amazon. Here’s a link
And take it easy mama. ♥️♥️♥️
Or you could just keep bed sharing. She'll eventually want to sleep in her own bed, all kids do.
I read Sweet Sleep which is put out by The Leche League. (https://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Sleep-Nighttime-Strategies-Breastfeeding/dp/0345518470/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=sweet+sleep&qid=1575144694&sr=8-3) It makes some pretty compelling arguments for bedsharing and against sleep training.
We've been bedsharing since our daughter was 3 months old and its been a really positive experience. A lot of moms i talk to want to bedshare because it feels more natural and they like the connection of being closer to their baby overnight but feel guilty about it because they feel their baby "should" be able to sleep on their own already. She'll get there even if you bedshare now. Do what gets your family the most sleep and gives your heart the most peace. And check out the book for how to make bedsharing safe. Or read this article that explains how to make your bed safe https://www.llli.org/the-safe-sleep-seven/
We request no gifts and give a donation option if people want to markn the occasion.
We bought a few packs of these and they've held up for years. Place a sign by the garbage can directing people what not to throw away. Use real silverware or buy some heavy duty plastic ware and place a bin out for rewashing.
Preserve On the Go Large Plates, Set of 8, Midnight Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ADAWCY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-.MLCbEW08TQS
We bought some brightly colored felt bunting and happy birthday letters and use them every year. No special themed decorations. If we do take-away gifts, they're home made treats. No favor bag of plastic crap.
Looking forward to seeing what others say!!
Yep naked baby time is what works for us. And not using wipes for pee diapers. Also, my friend that is a peds told me about Secura Extra Protective Cream - 7.75 oz Flip-Top Tube - Pack of 2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KFDHEGK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ULxuFbME4CKKQ. Which is like a crazy thick zinc cream that sticks on there. I can’t wait for her to be out of diapers
They have miniature Ouchless ones for people with finer hair! I use them for things like securing tiny braids where I only am using like one lock of my hair. Other times I use the big ones when it's all my (thick) hair, but for fine hair the little ones is all you'd need:
pseudoscience? Yes. But that doesn't always mean "bad idea" -- for instance, we all want to help with kids' coughs (and our own), and in my area lots of people believe that if you put Vick's on the bottom of a coughing kid's feet, then put on their socks, they'll have a better night. It's cheap, it's accessible, and I don't believe there is any grave threat to anyone. About the worst case scenario I can think of is an uncomfortable rash from a skin allergy. So about vick's on the feet, I say have at it!
Babies and chiropractics can be actually dangerous. There are several case reports of injury and death in children and adults, and neck adjustments have actually been linked to stroke in adults. If there were any evidence at all to show good benefit, you could still make a case for it. Hell, we cause all sorts of harm and death with western medicine, but we strive to show demonstrable benefit to most therapies before we try to use them on little kids. There are no credible studies showing benefit to children, and especially babies, with chiropractic care. It gives me the heebie-jeebies.
For adults, and with a chiropractor who knows their limits (and knows they're not going to cure your diabetes with vitamins and thrice weekly adjustments), I think there is great possibility for benefit for things like back pain, headaches, TMJ, shoulder pain . . . musculoskeletal type pain that allopathic medicine does jack shit for. I'm not anti-all-chiropractics by any means, but really, really against "adjustments" for young kids. And I can count on one hand the number of times my 7-month-old has slept longer than 5 hours in a row. I feel your pain, friend.
Idk about pre-made, but if you’re up for diy, you could probably make something from aluminum tubing, some aluminum joints & sew a few covers for it. It would be a weekends work, but you’d know what it was made of & probably could be done for under $50. Start with something like this:
Aluminum Round Tubing - 7/8" OD x .050" x 48" Long https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013TG8OOA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_8ZWZECCHKH3KTFWVRFEK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Consumer reports released their insect repellant tests for free after the Zika scare last year. I'm pregnant and work at a Montessori preschool we spend a lot of time outside and there's a ton of mosquitos. For myself I used the Sawyer Picardin spray. Deet sprays made me feel dizzy I think because of the small. The sawyer picardin worked great and never bothered my skin or head. I got the Repel Eucalyptus for the preschoolers and it seemed to work okay but they still got a bite or two when I didn't get any. The Repel also had a strong smell that I wasn't fond of but it was more natural.
Just had the same experience with our babe. To be honest most of the time she’s spent in my arms, but she’s liking her seat a little more each day. My dad bought her this one. I love that it has the shade on it, we’re using it in Arizona. And when she wasn’t using it, I sat on it and floated around.
So I went and read the ingredients that the website listed as bad and cross checked them against Sun Bum Mineral SPF 50 that I have in my closet. Their mineral formula doesn’t contain any of those ingredients they said were bad. It does have fragrance listed on the ingredients which I know isn’t great but I would say it’s hardly noticeable as I’m very sensitive to fragrance (headaches, not my skin). I used to use the sunscreen they listed on the website but switched to mineral when I got pregnant. I’m happy with it so far but I may give the badger one a try that everyone keeps recommending.
You can do a puddle jumper.
What about this one? Both keys and xylophone?

Would he wear one of these? Maybe he’d like chewing on this?
I do this but also try to put the kids in long sleeves or pants whenever possible. Its a little easier on cool nights (upper midwest) of course, but offers almost double protection. I also purchased some yard incense that I think helps deter the mosquitoes a bit.

Edit to add: my doctor said no bug spray under 6 months old, only physical protection. I didn’t spray deet on clothes under 6 months. I did long sleeves/pants, or bug nets.
I recently read Marie Kondo's book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing and I'm in love. The message, in short, is to keep only things that you truly love, and discard everything else.
There's a lot more to it, but that is the jist. I'd say read the book, get inspired, purge the towels, and then everything else. I was so inspired reading it I couldn't wait to start cleaning :)
These play scarves are my go-to for age 1-2. My kids are now 9 and 6 and they still come out constantly. They have built forts and been superhero capes and have been used to wrap "presents" and most recently they've served as stuffy slings and I don't know what-all. My kids didn't really get into them until they were about 18 months, but definitely well before age 2.
By some reviews on Amazon, this mattress fits perfectly. By the measurements it’s .10 inches wider than the crib frame. I have the sniglar crib and am registered for this mattress. It’s greenguard gold certified and a few of the reviews eased my mind about it fully “inflating” and not containing harmful foams while all being stiff enough for baby.

I got this Melissa & Doug latch board, though I think my kids were more like 18 months before they were really able to get anything out of it.
I buy this stuff from a local store that often has 20 or 50 lb boxes of it: https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Choices-Oxy-Prime-Powdered-Laundry/dp/B007L3CLIS Even if they don't have the large boxes the price is still the same per ounce for the smaller ones, so sometimes I just stock up on 3 or 4 of the 5 lb containers. It works SO WELL, stains that I thought were permanent have been taken out of my clothes by this detergent (I used to work in machine shops so yeah, some of my old clothes have really nasty stains). I even used it on a really bad grease stain on my carpet and it took it right out. We've been cloth diapering with this stuff for over 2 years now, I'm never going back to any other detergent.
Oh no! Did not mean to worry you!! Here’s the boppy linkboppy... perhaps they’re not all like this?!
We have use the older kid version of these for a few years & love them. Easy to wash, super durable & easy to care for.

I have thick hair so I mostly use the big ones, but here's some of the smaller size if his hair is more fine (like what the other commenter was talking about):
It think it's important to remember that there's not always a ton of evidence to support many of the "best practices" out there. Your child is very unlikely to be harmed by an occasional deviation from the "plan".

I got mine off Amazon at the recommendation of another redditor and I love them!

We have one of these to lie under at the pool or beach for shade: https://www.ecosia.org/images?q=strandmuschel&tt=e8eb07a6
I sadly don't know what it's called in english, but it's kind of like a pop-up tent but with open sides so the wind can circulate and it doesn't heat up.
They're usually made from UV-protective fabric, downside: They don't keep a crawling baby in, so if you have a little adventurer on hand, that might not be enough.
Seconding the recommendation for Goodwill baskets. I’ve also gotten some good ones off Amazon that fit into cube organizers and on my bookshelves. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077V3BYL6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_EJV6Z970QNGDBBRHMPQ1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
We plan to build one but waiting on the price of wood. Right now our 2 almost 3 year old just had the basic metal bed frame that we had on that bed before and it’s not been an issue. I did buy the pieces for under the sheets to keep her from falling out and they are worth every penny in my opinion. Great to cuddle into, she can’t roll over them (I can’t roll over them), easy for her to climb over and easy for us to climb over when we fall asleep in there. Also it’s a 2 pack so we have one on the wall side, she can’t kick the wall and so far no toys have gone over the edge.

I just went through the baby section at Walmart. A rubber ducky, a pack of animals similar to below and then I used a glue gun to fill in the holes as I didn’t want them to go mouldy. But any small hand held toys, these were perfect as there were lots of individual pieces to wrap and we were doing Mexico (pre Covid) so they worked on the plane as well as at the pool and a couple fit perfect in the tray of her stroller.

I have used Country Save for over a decade and I've not had any complaints. I have used it for diapers, sweaty clothes, messy kids, etc. It's cheap and safe and powder and goes a long way. Available in lots of sizes but definitely available in bulk. I've gone back to it again and again every time I've tried something new.
I usually use a bobby to pin the front out of my kiddo’s eyes. (He now brings me dropped hairpins from the floor so I can put them in his hair. It’s very cute.) Sometimes he asks for a bun and I use my hair ties on him.
We bought this one on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Guidecraft-15924N-Kitchen-Helper-White/dp/B00C18NV8C/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1498147285&sr=8-4&keywords=kitchen+helper .. It's still pricey but not quite $200! We've liked it.
I love Sam's club brand diapers, but they're not the most crunchy for sure. However, Amazon just started their own line that's comparable to some of the more natural lines and you can purchase in bulk and use their subscribe and save discount.
Edited to add link: Amazon Brand - Mama Bear Diapers Size 1, 216 Count, Bears Print (4 Packs of 54) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0746G1ZDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_CtPNBbJT1KTRM
Those look so great! I have always wanted to sew the pretty version like these, but we get by using a low-effort (less pretty) setup with these white shop towels--I roll them onto an old paper towel roll just like you've done and we keep a pretty basket next to them for discards. (We use the white ones for faces/food, and also have a drawer of blue ones for floor/counter messes) We also keep a roll of paper towels on hand for nasty stuff like meat and cat vom lol... but holy crap the amount we've reduced our paper towel usage by is amazing.
My son loved this guy. He comes with a mask and cape for your child to wear so they match. It's not action figure size, more like a large doll, but he loved the shit out of it.
I use these flannel wipes from amazon:
OsoCozy Flannel Baby Wipes - Reusable And Washable - 15 Pack (Unbleached) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000138GNY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_EucOBbD215MMN
And use a spray bottle with water and a couple drops of lavender eo, to wet them. I've heard of people cutting up old recieving blankets too, but these are a perfect size. 2 packs last me a couple days of use.
I also used to use Baby Bits in the water (coconut oil cubes with eo and something else) but they gunked up my spray bottles.
I found these recently and I’m thinking of trying them out but haven’t yet. It says they’re anti-colic but most bottles say that. https://www.amazon.com/Pura-Kiki-Infant-Baby-Bottle/dp/B07J1T6Q2K/ref=mp_s_a_1_10?adgrpid=58800494871&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7eOxhMOF_AIVA7jICh2-nwFLEAAYAiAAEgKNoPD_BwE&hvadid=274682697087&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9007311&hvnetw=g&hvqmt...
I don't think you can find a nontoxic mattress under $500. I'm sorry. I know how hard it is.
We use SleepOnLatex and have been extremely happy with them, to the point of complaining when we're away from home because ours is better than a hotel mattress.
When we needed a compromise mattress, we went with Nod by Tuft and Needle, but that's closer to $600 and did offgass a little.
This is the topic I’ve been searching for! I have had FoN for a couple years now—which I love, except for the nozzle crapping out. I’ve been baffled that I couldn’t find complaints because I found the spray nozzle spring becoming rusty within a month (you can see it through the clear plastic). For the 1st year they kept sending me replacements but I found it frustrating and wasteful so looked online for a chemical-resistant one. This has been working great for me (although slightly annoyed I had to buy it myself): https://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-D110542-Chemical-Resistant-Sprayer/dp/B000EOPNWM
We've done daily miralax off and on for years with my daughter, who is now five. When she potty trained at two she started going a full week at a time without pooping. Every week on Sunday I would have to give her a glycerin suppository. She still struggles, but now she won't drink anything with miralax in it :( We have to be really mindful because she'll start having small poop accidents when she's wayyyy too backed up.
All that to say, I understand! My daughter also eats a pretty balanced diet, including tons of berries. It doesn't seem to matter.
We've started giving her two of these fiber gummies every day. If I know she's backed up or it's been a couple of days, I give her three or four and it works every time! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BW586TR?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
We love our steam mop! this is what we use
A moderately granola choice that actually works? Puracy stain remover. Also, sunshine actually does remove poop stains (but only poop, I think): something about the UV rays breaking down the bilirubin.
If you like the EZPZ straw cup you'll also like the Olababy training cup. It's also silicone and has a similar straw diameter, but the straw can't be pulled out. It's a 5oz size.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08X8MT6JH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We have had the Munchkin cool cat stainless steel straw cup for two years now - since my daughter was 18 months old. I don’t tend to put anything but water in it, but it’s pretty easy to clean. Just a stainless steel cup and removable silicone straw. I think it was recommended by a pediatric dentist (dentistmom or something) on Instagram.
The book It's Never Too Late To Sleep Train was amazing for me with my first child. There are lots of options in it and some of them require very little crying. My daughter would cry for hours around bedtime with me trying to put her to sleep. With the method we chose from the book, she cried for 15 minutes total each night for three nights, and never again after that. It was like a miracle.
Ready to chow! Man does this kid ever love food. And god forbid you put down the bowl and don't start shoveling it into his face immediately--my MIL is always getting bullied by what she calls the "not fast enough" scream.
Semi-related, I'm feeling a little done on cloth diapering. I don't want to make grandmas spray food-poop diapers, and I definitely don't want to pull them out of the bag and spray them after. He grew out of mediums in 2 months, so it's not like we're saving money. I might bump down to a mix so that I don't have to invest in a full-time stash of larges. We love CDing, but the arguments against are starting to pile up. Blech.
We also did baths less than once a week and then (and still at 2.5) use this prebiotic, coconut oil based soap only. It’s pricey, but we’ve been happy with it!
These little drawing tablets are cool and mess free. Technically it's an LCD screen, but it's not a screen screen like shows or something. Our niece/nephews have them, and we're getting our daughter some for Christmas!
We used and loved this one for the early newborn days. It’s very cozy and soft which made it easy to learn with. But it’s not super supportive so we switched to a linen one around 5ish months. I think our linen one is sakura bloom! I also have a silk one that is super supportive and great for toddlers if you’re still baby wearing occasionally when they’re older!
I’d also search around on r/babywearing though, they have a ton of resources/recommendations!
My child liked Brucy the Broccoli from Oli & Carol. They have other shapes and are natural rubber with no holes for mold to form in.

We use this walking sleep sack, over cotton footie pajamas. It seems to keep him warm enough in our 62°F to 68°F room!
We have this zigzag knife (linked below) and a step stool. He helps with dinner maybe 3 nights a week and is obsessed.
I got one that folds up from Amazon and I love it! Make sure your tower: - is solid wood - has an adjustable floor - uses non-toxic stains or paints
We opted for one with no stain at all.
Adding, here is the basin we use. I like that it's collapsible and dish washer safe.
Like another commenter said, a lot of this is going to depend on what works for you and your family, plus trial and error. There's a ton of info out there online but it can get overwhelming. If you end up working with a lactation consultant, they can help you develop a back to work plan.
Other things I like doing -- pitcher method for collecting milk, and the fridge hack for pumping parts. The fridge hack is a bit controversial. We decided we were comforting doing it once the baby was 12 weeks old, and taking into consideration that he is not immunocompromised in any way.
I plan on buying these when my kid is ready for cups: https://www.amazon.com/Elk-Friends-Original-Silicone-Smoothie/dp/B0967CNYCP
Not all silicone is equal and I’ve been really picky about what silicone products I choose. But I like Elk & Friends and plan on using them after weaning.
I use this company's glass jars and straw cups. I like them a lot and have been dropped by my toddler a ton without breaking. I would recommend!
Hair Chalk is probably your best bet. Given you want white you could probably realistically just use regular crayola chalk or similar. Or baby powder (although they might breath in more of this than chalk) https://www.amazon.com/Temporary-Coloring-Halloween-Christmas-Childrens/dp/B09K44YT3Y/ref=sr_1_13?
We used two books. The crunchier We Poop On the Potty (super cute, diverse range of kids, great pictures, easy for my kid to navigate) and Potty Time with Elmo (gender non-specific but it has electronics and plastic parts and it makes noise). My kid loved both equally (sad for me) and they were both motivating to him. It took us a weekend to get him using the potty regularly and after a month he was staying dry through naps and self-initiating during the day. We're still working on nighttime potty training.
Here's the a****n listing for the cheapest per bag bulk box. https://www.amazon.com/Ziploc-Steam-Cooking-Medium-10-Count/dp/B00318D3GG/
I had immediate BO change that I noticed the moment my baby was placed on my chest after birth. It stayed for 10 months, no matter what I did. Mineral salt deodorant was the thing that finally worked for me! Crystal is the brand I use!
Our favorite toy has been an Indian-style lota. My kid loves having the narrow spout to pour over bubbles, fill cups, etc., and it’s great from my perspective for washing hair or other body parts (we don’t have a removable shower head.
Ours is made from HDPE, which I consider to be the safest of the plastics. I feel like it’s really unlikely to leach anything at bath temperature.
I can’t find the exact one we have, but this is similar: https://www.amazon.com/Mayaka786-Blue-Lota-Bodna-Toilet/dp/B00UBHTPNU
This is the one lead safe mama blog recommends: https://www.amazon.com/Face-Paint-Certified-Hypoallergenic-Cosmetics/dp/B00KPXBMT0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1512342918&sr=1-5&keywords=Go+Green+face+paint&
my daughter is almost 7 months and loves these cups ! I got them knowing they're a bit pricey to me but they come with two and still make great snack cups when she's older. love that it's plastic free
they're very lightweight and easy to clean. they come with a sippy lid and a straw lid for both cups. depending on the size of the snack you could use the straw lid without the straw while traveling
You could be me with this post. So I love natural fabrics but haven’t found anything and we have a pool so I need some good go-to’s. My favorite combination is a long sleeve rash guard shirt from landsend. Not cotton but light and airy. Oh the bottom I wear these mens shorts Taddlee Men Swimwear Swimsuits... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MY639S6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
which I’m sure are also far from natural but they’re comfy and flattering!
Lol we must live in different climates. If you’re not into the small glass snap tops (I like bc they are liquid tight and the snap takes less strength/skill than regular lid or bag) then silicone reusable bags will prob be best.
We also have these lids. I like that they fit on multiple size jars, are slow spill, and the hole can be plugged for other stuff. But they are plastic.
I like silicone for food storage and Stasher is great but I have some other brands I've picked up over the years that work fine for me too. I like reinforced "mesh" ones like this for toy or game storage (keeping little pieces together etc). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087WHHHJQ?
This one right here?
Looks good, thanks for the recs!
We have a very similar setup (minus the diapers) and swear by the Breeze litter box/pellets/pads for our cats. It really cuts down on smells- we have 2 cats and generally only find it stinky right after they poop or when it’s been over a week since scooping poop/changing the pad. https://www.chewy.com/tidy-cats-breeze-hooded-cat-litter/dp/168317
No advice otherwise, good luck!
I’ve posted this before, but this is what we use. Won’t convert into another bed but is intended to be used as a trundle. Just seeing it’s an XL twin so not sure this comes in that size, but worth checking if you like the concept!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075MWYMNC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4X5R1PQC0585G6Q132TG
But we also do not make the bed :) he uses a fitted sheet and then a washable blanket we fold if we want it to look nice.
I've tried a few, but may I just say OXO Pops are the absolutely worst, they stopped popping after a while and it was just a waste. I bought these about a year ago and so far, so good. They also have a tare weight on the bottom for when I take them to bulk fill-up places
I REALLY like: California Baby Plant-Based... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001ATGBNA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I was in Florida and I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. Once I started using the spray, I didn’t have a single bite on me.
Speaking of shit I hate hand washing, Amazon has these lids with straws that go on mason jars and they are amazingly spill resistant with the straw in. One of the few purchases that work exactly how it says. Straws are stupid straws and have to use a straw brush, but I don’t know how to fix that.
I personally don’t do home made wipes, tried it, didn’t like it but I do use cloth diapers. I have this spray attachment for my toilet that I use to spray out the poop and give a soak to a pee diaper. I imagine you could also use it for wipes.

When we're at home we use Bumpkins flannel wipes with a push pump dispenser full of water.
Away from home we use Honest Wipes.

i only buy these. they don't leak. stainless steel. i put them in the dishwasher. young toddler can open it.
I got these ones! $25 was a low ball it seems, Lol. I def did not pay $70, lots of good options around $50. My search term was “obstacle course” but I found a bunch when I searched “kid’s stepping stones” too.

My only complaint is the balance beams don’t nest within each other like the stones do. But they’re super sturdy!
It’s not very granola except that it’ll easily last through two kids and get passed onto other families, but we got this one and my 8mo LOVES it.

So I'm not sure how granola it is, but the comfort of this mattress is unmatched! I have the trifolding one, but now they make it into a sofa bed, and honestly I'm sure it's just as comfy. I even have their regular mattress because I loved it so much.

The Seventh Generation stain remover didn't work great for me either but I LOVE the BunchaFarmers stain stick . You just spray some water on the stain, rub the stick on it like a crayon, then either put it in the hamper for later or toss it in the wash. Every stain has come out so far (using Tide unscented powder or whatever it's called) including cloth diapers and the solid foods that my daughter treats more like finger paints than edible objects. Bonus points that it's pretty cheap, lasts forever, and doesn't smell like it's going to burn my nose hairs out.
I have a motorola one that would work for this. It's not the best, but it's on the cheaper side. I would say that the dimmest setting is too bright, for me personally, at night and I always keep it face down. The volume also gets extremely loud, so another plus for bringing it outdoors. We've traveled with this thing a ton and LO has accidentally slammed it on the ground and it's going strong.
The Dr Browns straw cups! We use them at the recommendation of a feeding therapist. No biting involved. We taught my daughter how to use a straw with them. Initially, I had to “prime” the straw by sucking a bit into the top (which was an adventure when it was breast milk in there 😝) and it was nice that some would stay up there so she could figure out how it works, if that makes sense. Very quickly she could start it on her own. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Browns-Babys-First-Ounce/dp/B0942GXYJP?th=1&psc=1
You could also consider a Thermos Funtainer. It’s a 12 oz stainless steel bottle with a straw top. The mouth part of the straw is silicone and the inside is plastic. It can all be taken apart for cleaning. My toddler loves hers. I searched thin firm pillows on amazon when I was looking for one.
IMEIBAO Thin Memory Foam Pillow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DF33DGH/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_7MQ3BB0FS8QRYPWM83WP
I got this one when my 1yo had a cold. it was great for slight elevation while he has a cold but he's still not really into using a pillow. But I really like this one as an intro pillow. it's just a subtle difference from using no pillow
Not exactly what you are looking for, but we got some absorbent underwear for when we had to leave the house and we were first potty trained. It was enough to catch a leak but not for a full accident, but that was why we got them. We also got a waterproof skirt that we used for long car rides, which prevented accidents from making a huge mess in the car seat.
Touched By Nature, we literally just bought 3 sets of the kimonos and that and socks is what he wore his whole fourth trimester. I will say that their clothes run large, their preemie fit like most other brands newborn or 0-3 months.

This stainless steel percolator. We originally got it for camping. Then we tried it and found put it actually makes the best coffee ever and we use it every day. It does not make 14 cups! That is like weird coffee language I don't understand. It makes enough for my husband and I to each have at least two good size cups though. And one of the best things about it is how easy it is to warm up again for that second cup.

I still take my prenatal vitamin (this one), I take this one for postnatal support and recovery. I credit that one for helping with my postpartum hair loss and my energy levels. I also take a vegan omega-3 supplement for DHA and EPA, which are both crucial for our own fat stores and brain health. The fat stores are extra important for breastfeeding because we have to replace the fat our baby is taking through the milk. And the last one I take is a magnesium chewable gummy that helps with constipation more than anything else lol. I’m happy to share those if you’re interested.
We didn't start using this until he was maybe 20 months, but I wish I had used it sooner! Would I've used it when he was 3 months old? Probably not, but once he started scratching and making his own scalp bleed I wish I had had it.
My toddler is a bit older but we recently got her this glass bottle with silicone sleeve and silicone straw and have been really happy with it. Being glass, we do feel like it needs to be used with adult supervision, mainly to make sure it gets checked before drinking if it gets thrown or dropped. Our gal isn’t too rough with her cups though and we’ve had zero issues.
I love the Elk mason jar cups. We haven’t had one break and my son is 2.5. The downside is the lid is made of plastic, but the straw, sleeve and stopper are all silicone. They aren’t totally spill-proof but we haven’t had a problem with that. We absolutely loves these, have some at grandma’s as well, just traveled out of town with them too.
