for real? They are both on the back. One question, I'm probably overthinking it but can I just buy any usb c to displayport cable?
Should it be bi directional? I found this cable but it might not be bi directional but one of the commenters mentions that it can be used for g sync.
What are the prices for those in your region? I've been on the fence on buying a 240 hz just for apex and the one that I closed in is Lenovo legion y25-25 at around US$250 only because it was the monitor that sponsored 2020 global series. Still trying to research about having a 1440p 165hz as a main with the y25 1080p 240hz.

A few months ago I found that script for AHK:
#c:: { WinGetTitle, Title2, A
; Activate top window WinActivate, %Title2%
; This un-maximizes fullscreen things to prevent UI bug. WinRestore, %Title2%
; Mouse screen coords = mouse relative + win coords therefore.. WinGetPos, xtemp, ytemp,,, A ; get active windows location MouseGetPos, X, Y ; get mouse location
;; Calculate actual position ;; -16 on x and y pos allows you to doubleclick and close window(most of the time) xpos:=X+xtemp-16 ypos:=Y+ytemp-16
WinMove, %Title2%, , %xpos%, %ypos% ; move window to mouse }
Source: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/89647-open-windows-where-mouse-pointer-is/
I use the "Win + c" and one of my mousebuttons. depending how i open that program.
Hope that helps!
It will definitely fall, if you mount it this way. Maybe cut off a square so a monitor arm would fit. Otherwise you could search for something like this https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00V8V3VPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_1GYF44F0R04D6EY9WMC5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

TCL "TV's" have been great to us. You can get a 43 inch 4K for around $300 and you won't regret it. I have one in my home office that I do 3D modeling on and play games like Call of Duty and it's amazing. Plus you can watch college football on it, lol. I have an RTX 2070 AT 60HZ but the TV can run 120. It has all the apps to so you don't need cable hooked to it.

It's just "Part A" of the monitor stand. Unfortunately they're all proprietary and you'll need to contact the manufacturer of your monitor in order to get a replacement. That or ebay.
Alternately if you have VESA mounts on that monitor, you can get a universal mount like this:
VIVO Single Monitor Stand - Freestanding VESA Steel Mount Base Riser fits 13 to 32 inch Screens, Adjustable Height, Tilt, Swivel, Rotation STAND-V001H https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01FE2BCR8/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_KXZDGGDNV0HYF2FAKWVF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Though for this price point I'd rather have an adjustable style gas arm.
I used the manual here https://manualzz.com/doc/23064077/polaroid-tdae-02419 and it says it should be a DC 12V power supply. You can just Google it and order one anywhere but make sure the plug is the right size or get a universal one where you can switch out the plugs like this: https://www.amazon.com/Belker-Universal-Adapter-Supply-Speaker/dp/B07N18XN84/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=173T95VDBROGS&dchild=1&keywords=12v+power+supply+adapter&qid=1631658879&sprefix=12v+power+suppl&sr=8-3 Just linking an example, I’m not vouching for quality or anything.
The dock that they gave me blocks the hdmi port for some reason, unfortunately. Do you know if something like this would work?
Just trying to find a cheaper solution, but definitely will speak to my employer and see how willing they would be to get me something like what you linked.
Have you tried the two video ports on the dock plus the hdmi/display port on the laptop at the same time?
If that doesn't work, you will need a dock with 3 video ports such as
Or https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/dell-universal-dock-d6000-uk-dell-d6000/version.asp
Ideally see if you can get your work to provide a dock like this or pay for it if possible.

I have the lower tier one, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084CYSSBG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_9Q1GZT74NKE4NWET9RR8, and I have been enjoying it thoroughly.
I have this monitor the AOC 24G2. 144hz ips 1080p, height adjustable, and freesync which is really good. Check out reviews on youtube has a great review as well. For $179.99 it is great. Check out review from Hardware Unboxed https://youtu.be/6MHdeDv9bqI
I still use it. I bought mine here in Canada it was on sale for $190 CAD before taxes.
You have a really good pc setup 🙂 I can and have been thinking of making 1440p switch. Your monitor is really good and has received excellent reviews on tech youtubers. If it goes on sale I would consider it or there is another alternative also LG 27 inch 1440p 144hz ips https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07YGZL8XF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_i_TQZR69Y5WDXQM6B486QR?psc=1
Thank you for your input 🙂
I don't have a 240hz monitor so this doesn't answer your question but from what I've been told from people who do have 240hz monitors that the difference is almost non-existent. Like there such small difference from what I've been told that if I were you, I would save myself a few hundred bucks and get a 144hz monitor. But if you have a good graphics card that goes past 144fps then I would invest in a 240hz monitor. But once again I don't have a 240hx monitor so don't take my word on it. But do your research on monitors before buying. I recommend this monitor I have the same one and I highly recommend it. It's an IPS panel so it has perfect color and 1ms response time. One of the best purchases I've ever made was getting a good monitor. Best luck to you when you get to building your monitor.
Thanks. I think I narrowed down to these two ASUS IPS monitors:
https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VA27DQSB-Adaptive-Sync-DisplayPort-Frameless/dp/B08C63NR1V (5ms; DP; cables for USB, DP, & HDMI; supports both NVIDIA & AMD; adjustable height; rotateable; 3,549 ratings; 8/8/2020) = $179
https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PA278QV-DisplayPort-Anti-Glare-Adjustable/dp/B088BC5HMM/ (989 ratings; 5/15/2020) (WQHD 2560x1440, 5ms, IPS, HDMI, DVI, DP, adjustable, & rotateable) = $293 -- Why does it cost more? Because of DVI, higher screen resolution? No support for both NVIDIA & AMD?
It’s an ASUS monitor at 2k 165 he - that’s amazing, I might recommend a go omen x 27 as it’s on sale for about the same price atm on Amazon and it’s 240hz instead (which is better for the price) https://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-Gaming-Monitor-FreeSync2-Black/dp/B07SCX1JG2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=omen+x+27&qid=1607166105&sr=8-2
Here's an Asus monitor. This model is 23.8 inches but you won't notice the difference. I have this same model and highly recommend it.
Found this great deal

According to PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan in an interview with CNET, the PS5 will support resolutions of up 4K at 120Hz, along with 8K at 60Hz
You’re looking for a VESA adapter, and there are many on Amazon that will work for you. Example:
I mean sure it's 144hz, but if your game is running at 60fps then it's equivalent to the monitor running 60hz, in which case you get those bad response times. It matters only if your games run at 60fps of course.
I know it's expensive but if your budget allows it: https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-27-inch-Odyssey-G7-LC27G75TQSNXZA/dp/B088HJ4VQK
This one is great and cheap but availability is varied.

I used to have two dell U2515H's and can def recommend - 1440p at 25" IPS was great, with thin bezels, adjustable, vesa mount, all connection options etc.
I am from UK, so not quite sure where to check for deals, but I found the U2518D which seems similar to the model i had, and seem to fit your requirements.

I personally like the Acer XB271HU. I believe it hits all of your checkboxes (27", 1440p, IPS, 144Hz), but i'm not sure what the price comes to after conversion.
well the gtx 1060 3gb is kinda hard to decide since its basicly too weak for 2560x1440 but also kinda strong for 1920x1080 due to its rather lowish 3gb of ram. so you either go for 2560x1440 with gsync (27+ inches)to compensate lower frame rates or a full hd screen up to 24 inches or even 32:9 widescreen. if money doesnt matter i would rather go for a good wqhd 144hz+ and gsync since you probably will upgrade at some point and the gsync as said can compensate some kinda lowish framerates. the one screen i can decide right away is the S2716DG from dell https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Gaming-S2716DG-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B0149QBOF0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504284841&sr=8-1&keywords=s2716dg
