He can just buy a bunch of stickers and stick them everywhere.

Right, the print resolution is no where near the paid for model standard (but the designs are compatible with bits from GW Sprues like heads and weapons) with my basic printer. If one is lucky enough to a commercial grade printer these will have significantly more detail.
This was the biggest problem in making designs that would actually print. Starting out with scans of existing figures lead to great 3d models, but where none of the actual detail would print because the printer couldn't resolve it (The faces being where you notice it the most, with eye sockets/noses/mouth not being printed)
Terrain models are the next project where I'm going to try to create the same plastic bulkhead/walls that came with the boxed set, aswell as objective and scrap/losttech markers. However, there already a whole range of terrain and model designs that you could use right now if you want (http://www.thingiverse.com/GreyMatter/collections/wargame-40k-necromunda-mordheim)
I guess I will have to add that to my list of projects: make a mold of Thermic Plasma Conduits.

I bought this one a long time ago I wouldn’t waste the money on the whole set unless your missing some of the basic other colors. I use citadel paints for almost everything except Metallics and generally I will only use Silver, Steel, Oily Steel, Gold, and Old Gold. I think they are MUCH better than the citadel metallics. Then I highly recommend their black, white, and neutral grey . They have good coverage and I use them over White Scar, Abbadon Black, and idk Grey (Which I think are the GW equivalents) then I would recommend their Flat Green. It’s a good intermediary between Caliban Green and Moot Green (on the Brighter side of green). Lemon Yellow it is a Pure Yellow. It has week coverage but it helps make any yellow pop. And my favorite colors that are not metallics are their Basalt Grey. It is a cool Blue Grey that is perfect for GW grim dark minis. You can highlight black with something like the Fang and then put this Grey over the top at the extremes to give it a cool touch. I hope this helps
It's also on Amazon idk where you're located but it's under MSRP rn.
I got mine on Amazon, doing a quick search I didn't find the same ones, but these are pretty close and should do the trick :
This stuff. Experiment getting the control you want. Mix in paint if you want blood etc, blob on a plastic plate, toothpick to apply
If you can't get this glue likely other contact glues would work
Maybe not as budget as your build but one of my favorite repurposed item - terrain pieces in my collection are a bunch of these led lanterns I picked up for my Necromunda table. They’re really good for adding light and ambiance to the the table.

They take paint well and as long as you leave the small patch unpainted where the solar panel is located on top you never have to worry about running down the batteries... assuming you want lights on your table. The led light bulb telescopes into the housing which gives you options if you want different heights and it has a switch so it doesn't have to be turned on if you don't want it to be. The wire handles are springy and relatively easy to remove, just by squeezing and pulling them out.
I recommend you lightly sand the clear section around the light bulb and spray paint it white. It helps diffuse and dim the light better for atmosphere. If you want your light to have color, you can then use inks or generally translucent paints over the white. Painting this whole thing is even easier if you extend the lantern open spray paint the whole thing white, than collapse it to paint the rest of the color you want on it. The only masking at that point is that solar panel on top.
But even if you don't like the idea of lights on your table, you can leave them off and I think these end up looking good side by side with GW's sector mechanicus silos once painted.
As base for the hats you could use machined washers of the right size and them gs the rest
Amazing work on this, I'm excited to make something like this for my display case now. I had not thought of it, thanks for the inspiration.
For the Delaque display, maybe something like this as the centerpiece:
https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/holo-station-strategium
I found this. has free version. looks like there are plenty of youtube vids for it as well https://www.helpndoc.com/
and here is a list of other free alternatives: https://alternativeto.net/software/madcap-flare/?license=free
Cool, that's good to know, thanks. Maybe I've just been watching too many videos about how to care for your airbrush!
This is the one that I was looking at: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0090ZD6WA/
Any idea if it's suitable?
I wanted a crane toy to serve as a centerpiece for my Necromunda terrain so was scouring Amazon for toy cranes and came across this one:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BGRIFU8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Pretty good for £14 but too big to actually use as a crane, so bought it and cut it up to make wall sections, and i'll use the other bits on other projects.
Not op, but those look like undergravel filter grates. Like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fish-Tank-Plastic-Rectangle-Undergravel-Filter-Black-32pcs-w-Connector-Tube/852941263 . There are square ones too. It's a pretty neat idea, this could probably be done with even less conversion as well!
EDIT: And here's an Amazon link you can actually order from: uxcell Plastic Aquarium Fish Tank Rectangle Undergravel Filter 32pcs Black w Connector Tube https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072DW8DZ4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_cYHpBbT19ZQPT
Get a small emory board and some sanding twigs such as https://www.amazon.com/Durasand-Sanding-Twigs-Hobby-Craft/dp/B01GOWR52S/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=sanding+twigs&qid=1599514673&sr=8-7 You'll also want a sharp hobby knife/x-acto blade and a pair of sprue cutters.
Kill Team Manager (Google Play store)
Takes some tooling around with to find things like the stratagems by making taking your list and setting it to In-Game, but you can do a lot with it; however, if I remember correctly it tends to be a little less current than the BattleScribe data (which right now only amounts to White Dwarf rules).
If you are brand new, I'd start with something like the reaper learn to paint kit.
GW also makes some for marines and I think death guard that should be available at stores, or maybe on ebay.
That sucks. You may be able to just cut the tops off and transfer them to dropper bottles. I transferred all my Citadel paint to dropper bottles and did the same with the few P3 paints that I own. Used these dropper bottles from amazon. No funnels or pipettes were used as I wanted to conserve paint best I could so it was just a steady hand. I transferred as much as I could without thinning and then used 10-15 drops of airbrush thinner and 10-15 drops of flow improver to get the most I could from the pots.
