Remember that a single wind turbine is fairly unremarkable these days.....but when it was erected in 1997 it was a symbol of what was supposed to be going to happen on a large scale. That's why it was placed there instead of some more remote place.
Have a look at https://www.wunderground.com/weather/au/the-hill/-32.93,151.78
There are a few private weather stations that upload data in Newcastle , a few are bound to be near you. There should be historical data there as well.
As with many, I was an absolute convert of Pocket Weather AU. I haven't been able to find an app that gives me what I want. So my lockdown project was to write a weather app (at least something has come out of lockdown). I still have a lot of plans for it, but I have got it to a stage where I can release it. I made the decision to add a cost as I hate ad's but need to recoup some of my $$ outlay. The app uses a relatively new BOM api – same one the BOM app uses, and I'm not sure what their plans are in terms of charging for it, so I have put a note on the App Store listing to highlight this. I am Australian based, do this as a hobby, and would welcome feature requests/improvements. The app has two widgets at the moment – working on more. iOS version is also in testing. Might have a few rough edges, but I will try to fix any bugs asap. And more than happy to get feature requests.

http://australianfungi.blogspot.com.au/ is a must-read for Nukecastlians.
And you wouldn't even need to hit the Watagans.. https://www.flickr.com/photos/chris_j_b/sets/72157600217056554/ were all photographed within a kilometre of home.

I've never heard of anything organized being done for this track-- although it could be a in-preparation alternate track for the Great North Walk.
Good find! I guess it's this one

PM me if you find an arcade/fight stick :)
Unfortunately coastal track stretches the whole way. You can get from Blacksmiths up to Redhead along the beach, which is one long beach, and is essentially halfway to Newcastle. There's then a series of headlands, which you might be able to traverse, never done it, and I think it would be a bit risky.
There are some alternatives;
- Great North Walk from Glenrock to Newcastle.
- Fernleigh Track more extensive, but less scenic
Hey mate. I recommend you look at meditation, mindfulness. I know it might sound a bit airy-fairy but it could change your life. The fundamental principle is that peace can never come from rearranging what's going on outside of you, only by accepting what's happening inside you. While it is a life long journey you'd be amazed how quickly it can make a positive impression.
I recommend this as an approachable starting point. Specifically as an audio book, there is something about listening to it that just makes sense.
Good luck brother.
I've been on this journey before.
There are some good shouts in here, but the best I've found is Krio Krush 'Flavon' Chicken Salt.
These work amazingly well, are inexpensive and best of all, they're humane.
They'll efficiently catch the little biggers, and you can release them away from homes.
Bring a few of these and we’ll be good to go 👌🏻
For those of us directionally challenged, download Skymap to your phone and you can search for Leonard and have it show you which way to look: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.stardroid&hl=en_AU&gl=US
Telstra's tower is right next to the Optus one but Telstra's is actually 4m higher than the Optus one. Doesn't sound like much but that's actually 20% higher. So it might be worth grabbing a cheap Sim card to check.
There's an app called Aus phone towers if anyone was wondering how I looked it up

I'm in digital marketing, and there are heaps of freelance jobs.
Like writing? Consider being a sales copywriter or content writer. (There are heaps of copywriting job Facebook groups)
Places like freelancer.com and upwork.com have short and long term job positions advertised. Whether you are an admin assistant, graphic designer, translator, editor, musician or writer, there is always work there to be had.
The long game is to start your own business. Like someone else said - stay away from MLM's or any other people spruiking "plug and play" business models. Most of the time you are just a glorified commission-only salesperson with little to no control in your "business"
In my industry, there are heaps of ways to make money from home - drop shipping & amazon FBA program, affiliate marketing, selling your own info product, the list goes on. (If you don't know what they are, then just google them :) )
Good books to get you started. "End of jobs" & "The Millionaire Fastlane". These will get you into the right mindset and give you actions to move out of your job and create your own business.
To you use the Aurora Store? I had an issue where the anonymous account was in a region where the app wasn't available, so I logged out and logged back in.
If you click a Play Store link, it will open in Aurora Store, so maybe try to see if this will work for you.
