I would make sure it's compatible first, if so, installation is pretty straightforward. Just make sure to clean all the vrm and vram surfaces well with ipa so things adhere well. You might also buy some extra double sided thermal tape in case you run out of what's provided.

In my case, I installed mine on a 1080ti and I didn't like some of the small heatsinks provided so I bought some extra black ones just as a personal preference.
