Surprisingly not. I bought it at my local record shop. I've seen them in F.Y.E. and a few other places. Here's a link to the blood red and dreadlock blue edition. I believe they also made a green/brown camo version as well.
Hey man, saw that you're ordering #1 of Predator so that's great.
Also thought I'd mention; this is Alien #1 of this arc. There was a previous story (also by Marvel and the same artists) that has wrapped up, so you can now get it in trade paperbacks (a collection of multiple comics in one book) instead of having to track all of them down individually.
So if you buy TPB1 and TPB2 you will have read all of Marvel's current Alien storyline, and be caught up to that #1 comic you have there :)
If you want 'Nam-era special operators and monsters, check out a novel called Grimweave by Tim Curran.
Also, I would happily watch the movie you describe above.
Wooden? Neat! I never would have considered wood! This one's primarily cardboard, lol, but it's got a pointer pen inside so it telescopes open and closed. A little clunky, but I'm happy with it!

It seems that the Epic launcher isn't correctly set up to launch the game. I know this isn't an Epic problem because I have used Red Dead Redemption 2 through Epic and had zero issues ever.
You can pick up all 4 movies in a Blu-ray collection from Amazon.com. I had DVD 2-disc Special Editions of the first two movies on DVD. I compared them to my new Blu-rays, and it's like you're actually there in the jungle with Arnie.
I have not seen the new Spider-Man nor Matrix movies.
Without spoilers, why were they bad movies?
Aliens vs. Predator - Extinction ROM (ISO) Download for Sony Playstation 2 / PS2 - CoolROM.com (click 'Alternative Download Link', not the large "Download File" button)
PCSX2 - The Playstation 2 emulator - Releases
For the bios, if you just google 'ps2 bios', it should be the first link. You don't necessarily need a controller as you can play with your keyboard, but you can always find a ps2 replica usb controller on Amazon.
I have this omnibus: https://www.amazon.com/Predator-Omnibus-1-v/dp/1593077327/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?dchild=1&keywords=Predator+Dark+Horse&qid=1629485671&s=books&sr=1-14
I also have one for Aliens and AvP. I'm waiting to start it because I'm such a freak I want to have an order set up for the movies and everything.
Nice! How is Three World War? I've been trying to get my hands on it, but it seems out of print and harder to find then even much older material. The prices on Amazon for it are laughable. I don't really like digital, so I guess I will just wait until it gets reprinted. Be sure to pick up Predator Omnibus Vol 1 & 4, and AVP Volume 2, they are pretty great! I know Predator Omnibus Vol 1 is hard to find in print, but they did release a new Predator Essential Comics Vol. 1, that has a good majority of it. Also I would highly suggest Fire and Stone crossover series that was just released in a collected edition. I hated Prometheus, but the graphic novel is kind of a sequel to it and it made me forget how bad Prometheus was. Pretty great story and art throughout it.
Also every Predator collection isn't complete without all the Batman Vs Predators! Newly collected with all 3 volumes! The first volume is possibly one of my favorite works of Predator fiction ever.
Is this what you are reading:
https://www.amazon.com/Aliens-Predator-Omnibus-Steve-Perry/dp/1785651994
I believe Omnibus also has comics about AVP so I want to make sure I look for the right ones.
Well, earlier in the year this was reasonably priced, it has all three: https://www.amazon.com/DC-Comics-Dark-Horse-Predator/dp/1401270786
I almost guarantee you can still find it in store at a Barnes and Noble or Books a Million though. That price is ridiculous and has to be price gouging due to marvel getting the comics rights now. If you can't find a copy to buy, check your local library. Im sure you can read it online through Hoopla too.
Depends. If you are a collector then maybe go for this: https://www.amazon.com/Predator-Original-Comics-Concrete-Stories/dp/1506703429/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1513456217&sr=8-1&keywords=predator+comic
If not, then check out the first 3 Omnibus. The 4th one is ass and TBQH Predator comics have always been a little hit and miss.
I'm a little late to this thread but here's my perspective. I loved the Alien and Predator movies. I haven't read any of the comics and only read Aliens vs Predator: Prey but that may have been after the movie...I enjoyed the movie but it wasn't as dark as I expected and wanted it to be.
AvP1 was a little too flash, had a little too much CGI, and was a little weak with the story but it had some fun aspects to it. It wasn't really ground breaking in any way and it's not as interesting, terrifying, or unique as the others so it just sits in the shadow of Alien, Aliens, and Predator. At least Predators took a new and strange/different tone to the Predator series and got some decent actors too.
AvP2 is just a mess. Any scene with humans is garbage. B horror. If you just skip them and get to the predator scenes its a lot more enjoyable seeing all the alien and predator fights but then all you have is a short film and not a real movie.
I think too AvP2 really let a lot of people down with the predalien. It was bulky, looked like a costume, and had strange new biological features that just didn't really make any sense.
Frankly, after seeing shows like Firefly, The Expanse, Continuum, and Dark Matter I kind of think Alien vs Predator would do better as a tv show on Netflix or something. Set it in the future on a human colony. Write it well. Make the characters believable. Make it dark and gritty.
I guess the problem with the concept is that at the end of the day it's just a brawl between different species. That doesn't lend itself to complex characters really. I think the Wolf Predator from AvP:R had some character by the simple fact we saw a lot more of him.
