the curt harness plugs into the factory plug and gives you a 5 pin off the trailer light circuit. Blue wire is reverse positive, white is ground. i spliced mine in a way that i could still use the 5 pin if i ever randomly encounter a trailer with one. have it tucked up and zip tied away from dirt and snags for now. i like the truck having 4 pin, 5 pin, and 7 pin options now. these lights are bright as heck too, and well built for the price. easy job and highly recommended, took me 30 minutes slacking off while installing
I picked up the MBRP catback last month and I really like it. Really gives that hemi the throaty rumble while not being too over the top IMO. Another reason I chose it was because it doesn't require any welding. Check out some videos on YouTube. I picked mine up off of Amazon in the following link. Don't be fooled by Amazon's compatibility warning, I called the manufacturer and they confirmed it would work on my ram (2018 hemi sport crew cab 4x4). I bought the aluminum red shifter knob that looks like a gear and the radio knobs. Nice look, looks like upgraded stock. Note that the radio knobs are friction fit and mine started popping off so I ended up putting a couple tiny drops of glue and they've been on for several months without issue now.
I highly recommend them. Look for the other shifter know replacement instead of the sticker cap thing....

With the right subs and amp combination, they can really thump.
As far as the full screen on the 12 inch, I’m really not 100% sure but I think Apple makes it so CarPlay orients a certain way, I’ve never see CarPlay taller than it is wide in any make or model
Wireless CarPlay though, I have car link it (the white one) and I’m not gonna lie I had pretty moderate expectations for it but it’s usually connected and working by the time I have my truck out of the garage but as always YMMV.
I keep it plugged in to USB 3 (the one in the rear console) and Velcro’d it in so it doesn’t move
Fuck buddy, that sucks! I got a $50 one off Amazon that I plug into my key-on socket. Even the cheaper models have onboard battery assist so the visual motion detector and the impact sensor both cause it to turn back on and start recording even if the truck has been cold for hours.

It's great. It took me about 20-30 minutes to get it set up the first time. But now that I know where it all lines up, I can put it on or take it off in less than 5 minutes. It's fairly light. If your tailgate locks, then this thing locks as well.
Obviously, since it's vinyl it's not going to be super secure. But if you want easy on/easy off, and don't need to be too secure, it works well.

Exactly. The hardest part of painting outside at home is keeping the trash out of the finish coats. I got lucky with the bumper, and there were only two little bugs in the clear that I was able to pick out and then reclear and level the surface. Not so much with the hood, hence why I'm going to wet sand and buff it.

On the Amazon app it says "this does not fit your ram" but that's entirely untrue. Had this one on my 14 Hemi and my 17 hemi now. Again, if you're wanting something crazy this is not it. I wanted a low rumble and you can definitely notice your air moving out the exhaust easier. There's a guy on YouTube with this swap. Search the model number and you'll see his videos

I was dead set on swapping my sport mirrors for tow mirrors. Lots of complaints about glass vibration on the cheaper aftermarket tow mirrors, and it was going to cost me over $1000 for the auto dim, heated, power fold oem tow mirrors.
I put these on and have been really happy with them. No interest in spending the money on tow mirrors any more.

I installed a Sony touchscreen I bought from Crutchfield. I have a company vehicle, so I only put about 5-7k miles on my truck a year. So I didn't go all out. My budget was around 350 all in. The double din unit was about 250, and about 50 more for the harness/mount, and steering wheel controls. I then bought a backup camera on Amazon for about 20 bucks, a longer video cable, and a barrel connector to extend the video cable to the deck.
I do have some issues with the steering wheel controls, when I skip tracks sometimes instead of skipping to the next track, it will skip two tracks. Also the volume up/volume down will sometimes be backwards. It is not a wiring issue since I have triple checked the connections.

The backup camera is actually really great. I feel like I can park this thing anywhere. The camera that I got came with a hole saw. I cut a hole in the plastic tailgate handle (where the factory one is). I did some light sanding, and pulled power from the reverse light. The way it angles down is perfect, it only misses about 3 inches from the middle of the bumper. So i know when I backup, and the object is at the bottom of the screen, i know i have 3 inches. All in all it was a decent Saturday afternoon project. I was kind of surprised my Big Horn came with such a crappy radio. But this was much cheaper than going with OEM gear.
I don't have an answer for you, my truck came with an aftermarket head unit.
BUT, if you only have aux, go for one of these bluetooth adapters on amazon. I have one in my other car and its great! the only problem is remembering to turn it off when you get out of your car. I just use a car charger that was already in my car.

i got a cheap one on amazon that is fine. its not great by any means, but it does the job. it doesnt have specific latch holes, but i got my kids seat in there ok through the regular seatbelt holes and around the outside.

I've been running this iOttie suction cup mount on my truck for over 2 years of texas sun/heat and it's never fallen off. The suction cup fits perfectly on the gray plastic area you have circled. With the mount there your phone is also in the perfect position for maps and what not.

Hey guys and gals, I recently cleaned up my audio install in my '21 bighorn. I ran a 9 channel bundle of speaker wire which made it super easy to run to the amps in the back. The amppro had a really nice base knob that fits perfect on our kick panel (see picture).

I had an express (same as the tradesman), but I did however purchase a console out of a wrecked bighorn along with the AC tubing too for extra storage and cool the cab faster. I had plans on getting rid of that silly little cubby on the passenger side of the dash (crap kept falling out) and actually making it an upper glovebox. Then there's the under-dash floor lights you can add from the higher end trims (knock out the cutouts and install. Also, steering wheel upgrade if you don't like the rubberized one (not sure about the actual material). If you feel like spending some money there's the sliding rear glass you can add. I also added these aftermarket headlights, along with these aftermarket led tail lights.

If you are going do the job yourself, you probably wanna replace the compressor. You will need a set of guages with a Pump. You may able to rent or borrow the guages/pump. It's a good idea to always replace the dryer with the compressor too. When compressors fail there is often chunks left in system. You will need 3 or 4 cans of r1234y.
The dryer is around $50. Auto zone has the compressor at $400 with a warrenty. You can probably find both cheaper though.
It's not hard work and there is lots of you tube videos to follow.

No, you need to use a center drill to make the indent hole.
Just one thing that's important to add here: You are very, very lucky to have gotten that bolt out with that cork screw extractor in a power drill. They are NOTORIOUS for snapping off. Then you have a hardened extractor, in a seized, broken off bolt. For those reading this:
1) Use an extractor like these:
BUT only AFTER drilling with a center-drill and reverse drill bit.
2) Use a t-handle. NOT a drill.
3) Heat cycle the metal around the broken bolt and go slow, NOT using a power drill.
Good job man but you are VERY lucky you didn't snap that extractor off.

Jescar Power Lock Polymer Sealant after a good wash every few months or so and then I’ll use a Turtle Wax ceramic spray every third wash or so. Neither of these things would have to happen so frequently if I didn’t live in a rural area with lots of dirt roads, including a 1/4 mile rock driveway.

I have the same truck and I don’t like driving with the fog lights because they are not sturdy. I always thought it was an electrical short that would make the lights look like they were flickering every so often.
Then I finally realized that it’s because they are not held in tight. So, as the truck goes over any type of bump or crack the lights would move, making it seem that they are flickering momentarily.
I need to take look and see how they are held onto the body to see if I can tighten them up.
Really the only internal leak could be a head gasket leak, but your level isn't dropping so that's a fairly low probability. Does it make blue or white smoke out of the tailpipe when started? Dropping the pan itself isn't tough, but I don't know what might be in the way on the Rams. I usually work on the 5.7L cars. I've ordered a RAM for myself, but it hasn't been delivered yet.

For $30 total and 3 hours (disassembling and assembling), I can’t complain much, sure it isn’t perfect, but was a good project and a learning curve for future projects using the same film / tint… next time I would definitely take my time working the film on the curves, and not rush it so it doesn’t create creases.

I put a set of those in my stock headlights, one you align and aim them properly they're excellent. I've been running them about 8 months now without an issue and I've had the same brand in my wife's car for over a year.

That’s the one I put on my 2020 Warlock, last year. Super simple, and only took about 20 minutes overall. I was going to use the mopar oem kit, and install it myself, but the dealership wanted like $600 just to program two fobs. Yeah, no thank you.
