"I am not always being choosy for her." Darya pointed out. She was about to retort when a trace of highlighted colour crossed her vision. "Oh! OH! There she is!" She exclaimed, shoving past Ashton. "Stay here, I'll only be a moment!"
And with that, she trotted towards Kyohi, who was in the company of Ambrose, of all people. She wore a vibrant - not to mention leggy - red dress that, in some way, worked well with her less voluptuous features.
Her first dance. Nearly three years here, and this was her first dance. She always strived to be the proper example of level-headedness, perseverance; but now that she remained in silence, standing in front of the door to her 'friend's' room, she couldn't be more riddled with anxiety.
She thought this was silly. It was all silly. The fact that she was nervous about such a simple event, a social gathering, was driving her to near-insanity. It would be like any event she'd been to previously, but now, she'd be critiqued not because of her intellect and personality, but by her looks. Darya was better at this than she did; Darya, the girl who oozed creative fashion sense and pompous grandiose. She had it all planned out, most likely, everything down to the type of fabric for her dress and diamonds on her ears. Kyohi, on the other hand, the most she could come up with was altering the length of her hair.
She wore a red dress, one that resembled her heritage to some degree, but also showed too much of her right leg. Her metallic arms were uncovered, changed from their usual gloss paint to a muted matte black, which meshed well enough with the dress for Kyohi's taste. She had many second thoughts about this whole ordeal. She wanted to back out of this self-proposition, forget it ever happened. But then she'd see herself a a hypocrite, and that was more truthful than she wanted to admit at this point.
Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, and stared directly forward, awaiting Ambrose's answer.
The book that Dana was currently reading was entitled 'The Art of War: Combat against Grimm'. It appeared to be a rather thick book, full of pages of knowledge. Dana peers up to see someone she hadn't seen before looking down at it.
"Oh, good day!" She says. "Are you interested in this book?"
Nick arrived at the hot springs wearing nothing but his swimsuit and a drawstring bag as he made his way towards the hot springs. As he approached he noticed the sad looking girl on the edge of the pool. He recognized her from somewhere, but couldn't remember where. "Oh um... hi. I feel like I know you from somewhere. Have we met before?"
Nick decided to show up to the bonfire, remembering Sky from the community service day and assumed some of his other friends would probably show up. He saw the smoke from the party as he got closer and followed it. Eventually he reached the location only to find he was on the wrong side of the waterfall. Instead of going around like a normal person, he shoved his clothes and everything on him into his bag, revealing his bathing suit and somewhat blindingly pale skin underneath. Nick then threw the bag off the edge towards all the people where it landed in a bowl of potato chips. He took a few steps back and ran off the edge of the waterfall. "LOOK OUT!" He yelled as he fell into the water below.
Nick arrived earlier to the party and was walking around in his swimsuit looking for some people he knew. Before he could however, something else caught his eye. Carnelia's weapon, Burnout had caught his eye. Unlike all the other weapons he'd seen students wield, this one seemed to meet the level of quality of the ones he had manufactured himself. He awkwardly (as usual) approached the girl in the wetsuit. "Hi, um... I was just uh.. intrigued by your weapon there. Not many other students have theirs made as umm.. well as this." 'GOD WHAT WAS I THINKING I'M ACTING LIKE A HUGE CREEP! Why am I such an idiot like this...?' *Nick thought to himself as he continued to die a little inside while awkwardly smiling. *
"One minute, need to make sure you keep your fingers."
He cuts off some branches from a nearby tree, and makes 2 handles. then ties them to the ends of a length of wire, making a hand saw
"There, that should make things easier for you."
