One of the issues with STC is how widely you can stretch the interpretations of its beats to justify any story fitting them. One the book's sequels does exactly this, IIRC citing Pulp Fiction's opening conversation about royal with cheese as a Save The Cave beat example, which is shoehorned horseshit.
Personally I really do enjoy STC from an academic standpoint, as a novel way to help recognize common writing tricks, especially the coining of gimmicks like "pope in the pool". But screenwriting via MadLibs is nuts.
Angus Fletcher's lectures are nice rebuttal to Save The Cat and I highly recommend them.
It’s also fake lol.
It’s crazy how this myth has become such a thing even though it’s complete BS.

So when my kid was young we would go to the library and grab a pile of books, and I'd read one from the pile to him in the evening before bedtime.
One of the books he grabbed was a book called Fireboat.
I did not know this book was about how a fireboat helped during 9/11.
The first half of the book is very Thomas The Tank Engine like. Very uplifting and fun story. Near the middle it smacks you with 9/11 and the art brings it to life.
I've never been emotionally gut-punched quite like this, ever.
That's the thing though, they don't own the rights to "The Little Mermaid", because the Disney of yore took it from an old Danish story, which was (and is) public domain. Anyone can make their own Little Mermaid movie as long as they don't use anything too specific from the Disney version, like "Part of your World" or that sequence where they stabbed the sea witch with the ship(though even that's debatable). It's why Amazon was able to shit this out despite Cinderella being one of Disney's most famous movies.
Ironically, if Netflix or whoever wanted, they could make their own Little Mermaid and have her actually be a ginger, and Disney wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
It’s like a little flesh colored triangle attached to a long skinny piece, it’s adhesive and goes from the top of the labia to the bum crack. https://www.amazon.com/LoveinDIY-Disposable-C-String-Adhesive-Underwear/dp/B07W8Z2K1D like this
There's a really good book called "Darth Plagueis" that covers the life of the Sith lord
iirc, there was a scene where Plagueis and Sidious tried to control the Force itself. Not just use force-based powers, but actually manipulate The Force in such a way that they could steer the destiny of the universe.
The experiments seemingly failed, and later on Plagueis hears of a child found with an absurdly high midichlorian count.
He wonders if their attempts to control The Force triggered a "backlash;" as if the Force responded to the existence of the two powerful Sith with its own creation: an immensely powerful Force user who would "bring balance to the Force."
Damn, now I just wanna listen to some audiobooks with yesterday’s sponsor, Audible about the importance of having a VPN like today’s sponsor, NordVPN using tomorrow’s sponsor, RayCon wireless earbuds.
According to the internet (aka Open Street Mapping) Home is in Illinois.
So the film's title was accurate - Spiderman's euro ethnicity is some 12,000 years separated from that of the long-settled natives of Home, Illinois.
Yeah specifically they got Kip Thorne as a consultant. For those not in the know Kip Thorne is a world class physicist who was awarded the 2017 Nobel prize for his work with LIGO and the detection of gravitational waves.
A book and i think several scientific articles were produced from the movie.
Hulu != Netflix != Vudu != Amazon, and not to mention across different countries. Yes, multiple services. Maybe don't get so hyphy, especially when you're wrong?
