For anyone interested like I was, apparently this is called an "airsoft templar mask", e.g. one link I found on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/DH-LLC-Knights-Protective-Paintball/dp/B00EZ3A2O2?th=1
I would definitely love to play this, but unfortunately doesn't appear to be anywhere near me.
the wallstreet journal has been pretty great at blocking their site for all modern web browsers.
So the trick is to use an ancient basic one, called Dillo
for windows: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dillo-win32/
for everyone else: https://www.dillo.org/
You can also get a ready to fly setup with a tiny whoop (which is technically just a class size) a video screen, and a controller and four batteries from Amazon for $200.
I think i saw this on colbert report a few years ago.

I'm not at work today, but here is the Amazon link, where I purchased them:
Office Chair Caster Wheels (Set of 5) - Heavy Duty & Safe for All Floors Including Hardwood - Perfect Replacement for Desk Floor Mat - Rollerblade Style w/Universal Fit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CTIG4GE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-m9.Cb78WX281
Insanely hard...
I was just looking it up and found this, with a bunch of MM speed runs. It's kind of infuriating for me, someone who (probably) never made it past the 3rd level.
For anyone interested, here is the game that is played out:
https://www.chess.com/blog/OldChessDog/human-chess-game-at-marostica
It isn't a particularly good game, but I think it is designed for the drama.
> Pillo polo, also known as floor hockey in some places, is a popular recreation and physical education game that has been around for over 40 years. > >The game can be played both inside and outside and has rules similar to ice hockey. > >All forms of ice hockey such as floor hockey and pillo polo was invented by British soldiers stationed in Canada in the mid-1900s. > >Pillo polo was adopted as a physical fitness sport in many public schools for gym and was a milder, less contact sport for most ages in school.
I remember playing this in elementary school and at the Boys & Girls Club. It's a midly popular school-age game from what I figure.
I didn't remember the horses having ear plugs, but I did some reading and that is a thing. There are a few brands on Amazon.
Pomms Equestrian Earplugs (Black, HRSE) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D46J9TA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AKo4AbTAE3FWM
I used to live near Islip. I was told that the similar game there had been banned in the 19C after two people were killed one year. It was said to have been a particularly fine game.
> same difficulty for everyone everywhere
I think I'd have an easier time with this than my grandpa. Or a dwarf, for that matter.
> cushioned mats that big are expensive
You'd be surprised. We don't need a full crash mat here, we're only trying to get this as soft as grass.
I want to play this game now. I found out on Amazon for $17. Hasbro Gaming Foosketball Game, The Foosball Plus Basketball Shoot and Score Shoot and Score not searched Tabletop Game for Kids Ages 8 and Up, for 2 Players https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JRY6YK9/
If you want to play solo, there's an app for throwing your phone vertically for maximum height. Apple banned it, but it's still available on Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.carrotpop.www.smth
Reminds me of this toy I had as a kid. I would spend hours just watching those little balls duke it out.
GoSports Pass The Puck Game Set | Rapid-Shot Tabletop Board Game - Fun for Kids & Adults https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VGTY337/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_H5UsEbZDWBBEE
Not the same as video, but here is an Amazon link
There's another version on amazon that has multiple center gates to vary the gameplay. Thanks to this video, I just ordered it.

I bought the paid version of this, but the free one should be able to do this.
I'm sure there are other apps that can do it, too.
The Jamaican prep cook I worked with ages ago taught me to put on an apron and an oyster shucking glove to shuck oysters. After a few weeks of practice I think I was at least nearly as fast as these guys. I wonder why they don't use the best tools for the job.
Machete is basically just a catchall term for a knife you use like an axe.
I started with a hubsan x4 h107d which has an FPV screen on the controller. But not being able to try full acro was definitely getting to me.
It's really not that bad to go fpv. I got these goggles to fly FPV with my Hubsan and I'm still using them on my big boy racing drone (though I've ordered slightly nicer ones). Then you can buy a decent transmitter, start flying in a simulator. Then build or buy a decent quadcopter. Not so bad when you take it in steps.
