For now, clearing your toolbox cache should resolve this. We'll have a proper fix in the next release: https://github.com/creesch/reddit-moderator-toolbox/issues/312
> Well, it's just disappointing because toolbox is otherwise a mostly good tool
I get that it is disappointing, you get to be disappointed. What is not cool is just brushing away argumentation we have put a lot of thought in (not just now but over a longer period) and meanwhile throwing in some underhanded remarks.
> and your insistence on inaction. > Hopefully someone will fill the void you are creating.
I am still not sure why you insist on putting in unneeded snarks like that. It really feels childishly complaining about something you probably never gave a second thought while we have literally put in thousands of hours and consideration. And I wish I was kidding about that amount of hours spent, but I am not.
Well thought feedback is always welcome but in the entire conversation you have just complained that we are not doing what the admins have said while it is just your interpretation. All the while ignoring me, frankly rather patiently, trying to explain to you that this specific functionality is one we have talked about and weight the pros and cons for much longer as it isn't without issues.
Anyway, I made my standpoint rather clear even though you insist I did not. So I am done here as I don't see this conversation go much further.
Yeah I can't get a server connect to karmawhores either, keep posting and hope someone goes to the basement and hits the pipes with a wrench, or someone gives a server a short sharp kick to it's nether regions and it all comes good! http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/karmawhores.net.html
I've been down that road ages ago..
I get
> This PPA is dead. Don't expect updates here. Stable updates go into the release as soon as they're packaged.
Stable Channel of Chromium for Ubuntu, matching the Google Chrome Stable Channel for Linux
"Stable" is not an opinion of the quality of what's here. That is the name of Chromium Project's release channel.
This PPA will contain either outdated or broken Ubuntu packages 90% of the time. When packages exist here for a few days and have no problems, they're uploaded to the Ubuntu's main distro, which makes these obsolete. The only reasons this might be ahead of Ubuntu is that the version here is untested or is too broken to accept.
Please use this for testing only. If you experience problems, please join Freenode IRC #ubuntu-chromium or email <email address hidden> . More info: https://launchpad.net/~chromium-daily/+archive/ubuntu/stable Press [ENTER] to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding it
Not sure if it's helpful to anyone else but in regards to Firefox about:config settings, I went through these suggested privacy tweaks - https://www.privacytools.io/browsers/#about_config - a couple of days ago and afterwards toolbox stopped loading.
Setting 'privacy.firstparty.isolate' back to the default of false solved the issue for me.
You should add:

To the header. This allows the script to update itself if there is an updated/fixed version, and also for TamperMonkey to sync it in Chrome.
