Hi, thanks for the input. Most of our campus buildings are still cleaned by Texas State Custodians. WFF has a few, however I have seen first hand that their "cleaning" practices are lacking. Simply flipping the toilet seat up dos not mean the restroom is clean. I also take issues with the way they treat their staff. See link and read review titled "clueless." Thanks for any input/suggestions. http://www.indeed.com/cmp/Wff-Facility-Services/reviews?id=a01223fa12064d9f&from=overview&irclick=reviewc
I'll answer since no one is doing it so far. I graduated a few years ago but from what I've heard most of the stuff is the same.
As an RA, I would like to chime in on the dorm part.
You are not allowed to have microwaves or hot plates in your rooms, and the first time your RA does an EDI you will be required to remove them. I don't necessarily agree with the rule, but my job depends on enforcing it. You CAN have a coffee maker, and I use it for all my hot-liquid related needs (coffee, tea, ramen, etc).
Depending on what dorm you're in, tacks might not work for putting things up on the walls. My dorm has brick walls on three sides, and I've found that 3m double-sided tape works the best (just watch the paint when you remove it, as you can get charged for damaging it).
Whenever I needed to download WoW or LoL patches, I used a program called Hotspot Shield, which is a free VPN client.

The electrical engineering dept is likely who you are looking for.
If you elaborate on what you are trying to do I'll try to help you with a circuit.
