St. Thomas, NV, is a ghost town located 65 miles northeast of Las Vegas, within the boundaries of Lake Mead National Recreation area (just past Valley of Fire, where VoF Highway meets Northshore). It was founded in 1865 and existed for more than 70 years until it was flooded by Lake Mead following construction of the Hoover Dam. St. Thomas sat underwater for more than six decades until drought exposed the ruins in 2002.
I took this photo in late 2018 looking east toward the Gentry Store and, behind it, the town's post office.
For those interested, I wrote a novel set in the town, Lords of St. Thomas (Amazon, Goodreads), that is based loosely on the final resident to leave the town in 1938. There is also a history book written on the town, St. Thomas: A History Uncovered, which I recommend!
If you want something basic and easy to install, I’d recommend the Ring Peephole Cam. It sits where your peephole is, so it acts as both a camera and peephole. I went this route as my doorbell is such in an awkward location that if I chose a wired option like Nest or Ring, I wouldn’t be able to see shit.
Go get a blackjack strategy card, bring it to the table, and use it. The players with you will roll their eyes but it's perfectly fine to do and it will get you nearly the best house edge you can ask for (without counting cards).
I'll bite and this is what my Google-fu came up with...
With a budget of $1,000 per month, you're giving yourselves $36 per day for two people for an extended stay. You may have to nix the communal swimming pool, but there are some places like:
Those are pretty much the options within your budget range for a private place within the Strip area.
Edit: Formatting.
This isn't a regular open bar but Thursday is a bar crawl downtown that includes 8 bars and ends with a food truck competition. Tickets are $29 on groupon right now: https://www.groupon.com/deals/gl-for-the-love-of-cocktails
I'll be there!
Your best bet is to use your free time to learn how to program. If you're wondering what languages to learn, I highly recommend Python. From a career perspective, a talented software engineer will always be in demand. Do what makes you happy.
BMW had a bad ground connection under the seat. I know the guy.
Math of total cases and total deaths illustrates 2.6860 %
https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
But, if you take number of deaths against number of recovered, 31,897,793 that is 3.63%
However, the death is probably dropping as more preparation and treatments became available.
I'm assuming she/you already filed a police report. Did she have the find my iphone app on any of her apple devices? She will be able to see where the iPad and mac are.
Anyone with apple devices, please install this now if you haven't already. It's easy to set up and could mean the difference between recovery and being S.O.L.
you are free to spend your time however you want but the deals are utter shit, you can just stay home and buy better stuff with a click of a button rather than spending hours in line. For example slickdeals has an entire spreadsheet of TVs on sale this weekend, most will be buyable online
https://slickdeals.net/f/9412175-2016-thanksgiving-black-friday-tv-thread
Also keep in mind the new model of TVs will be introduced at CES in january (in vegas) and the current 2016 model TVs will start getting discounted then, going into better deals during super bowl weekend.
Most of the ultra cheap TVs available this weekend are specially made for black friday, using shitty parts, and are basically TVs for suckers.

Hi fellow bicyclist! I ride to a from work(on the strip) once in a while and can tell you that it isn't THAT bad of ride although you have to be very alert and our bike system here is non-existent. I would highly suggest you make your way out to the "red rock loop". However, like everyone else said. It's hot!! Ride earlier or later. 6am-9am or 6pm-8pm. Its still hot but without the sun its not as oppressive.
Hopefully you can see this MapMyRide workout of my buddies. I have yet to complete the loop cause im a lazy bastardo, but you may like it. See here
If it don't work, let me know Ill get you another.
I use hotels.com a lot. It's perfectly fine. You're not going to get "the worst room possible," as the other poster said, unless that's the one you booked. There are generally several room options/price points listed, as I'm sure you know.
As far as the difference in price, you didn't say if the $169 and the $390 is for the exact same room. Also, the Resorts World app may include the resort fees in the total, where Hotels.com doesn't until the checkout page. Or, they may have a special sale on the Conrad, since it's new.
I purchased two bidets during our last lockdown when toilet paper was hard to come by.
I purchased the Luxe Bidet Neo 120 from Amazon for my half bathroom downstairs.
I purchased the TUSHY Classic for the master bathroom.
The cheaper bidet was surprisingly the better of the two and I’d highly recommend it. And yes - I’ve used significantly less toilet paper since the installation of the two bidets.
I personally love Indeed for job searches. Basically performs like Google is how is crawls the direct listings for the employers and shows the results. No need to skim through spammy and ad-filled Monster and the other equivalents.
Anyway, use one of my old searches as it has all the common IT keywords. Good luck!
Don't start the circlejerk just quite yet.
The supposed owner claimed he has headquarters in "Silicon Valley" and LA, yet there's no company in the state of California explicitly registered or DBA as Faraday Future. Also his letter to the legislature sounds like something you'd read on the box of some shitty no-name TV you'd pickup from Walmart on Black Friday:

About the Ren Fair...here is a groupon for it and the road in front of the north entrance (Sunset) is pretty torn up with construction FYI.
My fave at Mt Charleston is Mary Jane falls. Moderate, about 2.5 miles. Kinda steep in some places, not sure how a 4 y/o would do on it.
https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/nevada/mary-jane-falls-trail
As far as lake mead, definitely the railroad tunnel trail. Total hike is 7.5 miles round trip and pretty easy. There are 5 tunnels and you can pretty much customize the length of your hike... Turn around when you want.
Thanks for the info. However, Airbnb Experiences are not short term property rentals, but instead events, tours and classes led by local hosts. Different set of rules apply.

The Las Vegas Chapter of Depressed Anonymous
This is the link to the meetup.com were i first found the group.
We're renting from a church and its in broad daylight plus its next to a police station.
The sad truth is no ones heard of depressed anonymous, I joined about 5 months ago and decided to add a day to the group by hosting Fridays. So Tuesdays are run by the original guy Frank and I'm running the Friday one.

We don't belong to any religious groups or national organization. Frank the original guy who began the group started this about 10 years ago. I found this group on meetup.com.

The meetings are an hour long, there is no fee or membership you have to sign up for and donations are welcomed but optional.
You don't have to share unless you want too, we start the conversations light so the topics can vary between peoples story. Everyone talks one at a time and we listen to your story.
i'm happy to hear your trying a therapy session :D, i know the first steps are always the hardest. The original guy running it Frank probably does have a facebook page on it but because I don't have one I don't know if its been updated. Google The Las Vegas Chapter Depression Anonymous it might pop up but i know theres a site for it on meetup.com.

If you can attend that'd be great, even if you just want to listen thatd be okay too.
I usually check Indeed, but I'd say the best thing to do is to have a skill-based resume. It gives you a chance to highlight skills you have, even if you didn't obtain them through work. You can even highlight achievements you had in school, without implying that they are from school. For the most part, just keep applying and don't lose hope.
When I bought a year ago, Costco has the best 24Hour Fitness deal. If you are not a member, have someone that is buy you a gift card. You can walk into costco with that gift card and pay for your membership (and the difference in price in cash). There are two different levels depending on which clubs you want to go to
I know you said 32" but Dell has this 43" LG for $179 if you remember to send in the rebate

Pretty new to the area and came across this notation on Wikimapia:
This is a recessed abandoned quary that is a popular shooting spot for residence in the area.
I use this guy:
For both the front and back. Quality is pretty awesome and it can record audio if you want. The display shows your speed and direction and even in our summer temps, I have yet to have any issues with it.
You can set intervals of how long you want each recording to be and it loops with it. So mine is set to record 5-minuite loops, once that first loop is done, it continues to record without missing a beat. It also has GPS on it so you can see where in the video something took place.
The only thing I really don't like, and it's not a reason for me to not get it. In order to get the video off the device, I have to turn my car on and connect with my mobile and sometimes it takes a short while.
Technically the odds increase with a bigger jackpot as well, so it's not irrational. In fact, using the Wikipedia odds and doing some quick and dirty math, I find the expected value of a ticket, not discounting the $500 million jackpot, to be just over $3, compared to a cost of $1. So when the jackpots are historically high, it is a cheap, technically profitable, form of gambling!
When you buy the phone have the seller meet you at a t-mobile store to verify it is not blacklisted/stolen and it's unlocked.
If its an Iphone 5, it would be a good time to verify that the battery recall update has been done to the phone. I've seen Iphone 5's used that only have a few minutes of battery life but apple will still fix them.
https://www.apple.com/support/iphone5-battery/
(That applies to the 5, the 5C/5S is newer and doesn't have the issue).
If you track down a used Verizon 5S, those are unlocked phones from the start, and can be used with t-mobile [the 5S features both a CDMA and GSM radios, I'm not sure about the 5C or 5].

Walking is a viable option if you're in decent shape, wear comfortable shoes and drink lots of water, even if it's not 35-40C (conversion for our UK visitor) just yet, the air is much drier than what you're used to.
As far as shows, many of them are dark on Mondays and/or Tuesdays to give the performers their "weekend", so you should be fine to see just about anything Wed-Fri. We have a number of Cirque du Solieil shows here. Everyone has their own preferences, but I think the general consensus is to avoid Criss Angel like a bad case of VD and see literally anything else. I know Mystere is amazing, I've never heard anyone say anything but good stuff about Love, Ka has a lot going on, 'O' is mind blowing. I've not seen Zarkana but other redditors have posted positive comments and Zumanity is one I highly recommend.
Also, while not associated with the Cirque empire, the show La Reve at the Wynn is hauntingly beautiful and the stage is water.
For less money, other shows/things to see:
Dozens more.

Also you keep mentioned 'old vegas' but just don't get disappointed when it's not what you think. Fremont has been really gentrified the last few years so now it's sort of a spectacle / country hispter type spot. Still plenty of fun things (GO TO GOLD SPIKE! GIANT BEER PONG AND GAMES!!!), but definitely not the 'old' type of feeling you might be expecting with neon statues and such. Just plan to Uber there and back for the cheapest / safest way to travel. The bus would be similar in price for 3 of you, but way less convenient, and forget cabs whenever you can.
As for food you should check out Hash House A Go Go at either Rio or the Linq. GIANT portions (sharing is in your best interests unless you can put away well over 1 lb of food each) of delicious foods and drinks for very reasonable prices. In downtown is also a place called "pizza rock" that is amazing, and perfect for a night time group snack when you've been drinking all day. It's also only a few steps from Hogs and Heifers (sp) which is a country dive bar you might have fun drinking and dancing at.
If you’re into theatre, please check out some performances that are starting this weekend:
Better hope she doesn't browse Groupon or get their email deals.
If you can't swallow the MGM Grand room rates, remember you'll have a $38/nt resort fee, $10/day parking fee, and $40/person extra PER NIGHT on your room rate if they're registered to the room.
Let's do the math:
$462 Room Rate
$56 Taxes
$101 Resort Fees
$240 Additional Person Fees
$30 Parking Fees
Just shy of $900 for a 3 night stay. Yeah. Screw that.
LPT: Don't stay at an MGM Resorts property.
EDIT: When looking at staying at The Cromwell, a luxury boutique hotel that's much nicer than MGM Grand, over the same dates, the total comes to $900 too. If it were me to choose, it'd be The Cromwell the entire way.
I feel you. I used to live in areas like that back home. I got a surround sound system in my bedroom, hooked it up to my computer, and used Simply Noise with brown noise to drown out the bass. It works pretty well.
But that's why I moved to Summerlin, I didn't want to deal with that kind of crap. And it's definitely an improvement, but why does someone have to let their dogs out at 3am? The barking is very jarring when it's otherwise deathly silent.
Select different carriers from the drop down.
This is crowd sourced, user data. This is not from the carriers themselves.
Note: Just because a particular area doesn't show coverage, does not mean there isn't coverage. It could be that no user with that particular carrier has been there to supply the data.
AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all have good valley wide coverage. I use Verizon and rarely have issues except when I'm in an underground dock area.
Hi, I got this one because 1. If the power goes out I still want to be able to use it 2. It was cheap 3. It's easy to install.
They're now back down to a normal price but I bought one for me and one for my parents when the price was double because all the crazy TP people were indirectly causing the bidet sales to increase.
But it's nice! Self cleaning, and gets my lady parts, I've never felt cleaner. At first my parents were like WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS but now they thank me for it on random occasions lol. $30 can't go wrong. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H2DWVMK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_uSHTFb7SQZ9S4
I've spoken to this on other subs -
I went and saw Tenet in IMAX at Red Rock about five weeks into its release on a Sunday afternoon. My girlfriend has been wanting to go back to the drive-in, but I didn't want to go knowing that Tenet was going to be within eyesight. I felt that going five weeks into its release was going to be safer than seeing it shortly after it came out.
I went in wearing an American Eagle Reusable Face Mask and protective glasses. I did not remove either during the duration of the film.
There were only ten other people into the theater. That being said, facial coverings meant fuckin' nothing to some individuals. The moment they walked into the auditorium, those face masks came right off. I understand removing your face mask briefly to eat some popcorn or grab a drink, but these assholes didn't purchase concessions and they kept their facial coverings off their face during the entire film. Not one employee came in to check despite Regal's policy being face masks must be worn when not consuming concessions.
This was the first time I've been to a movie theater since March and it'll be the last time I'll be at a movie theater until I'm vaccinated.
I have a 65" 4K television with a Dolby Atmos surround system at home. I'll be fine without a movie theater for the time being.
I hear you, I do still add some flavor to my water (lemons, mio, or even fruit flavored green or black tea bags).
I'm not sure how the costco R/O system and this Amazon one compare, but I did some research a while back & if I ever did get an R/O unit, this is the one I would get. (Based on reviews on how the water tastes like bottled water)
We run two of these. Buy some 5 gallon jerry cans for water and fill them up at water stations. Take the time to check different water stations. There are ones where you can get 5 gallons for either $1.50, $1.75, or $1.00. You just gotta look.
Use a VPN to tunnel traffic through Cox. If you're technical, you can set one up on your own with an Amazon EC2 instance. Otherwise, you can purchase a subscription from a VPN provider such as StrongVPN.
I've done this to solve my issues with Cox, so far so good.
I had to use the app. That got me access to what I think is everything.

Don't have a suggestion for tutoring but you mentioned the Computer Science field. Once you feel a little more comfortable with your math chops, get a copy of
The Art of Computer Programming, Vol. 1 by Donald E. Knuth
That book covers all 4 years of undergrad computer science math. By that, I mean the math used in the computer science courses, not all the math you'll need to get an undergrad degree. :)
I do not think you are going to find a place that you can use for yourself for free. I would buy one of these :
Make sure you also have a cooler with ice and just take a 10 minute break in the shade every 30 minutes. Or people can just walk over for recovery when they need. Make sure everyone brings their own water/Gatorade/ seats if they want! Way cheaper especially if you all pitch in.
This doesn't answer your question for a Vegas spot, but I know the fries you are talking about.
Put this on fries. Game changer.
You can modify the water supply under your sink, and under-the-sink filter (works inline with your cold water supply and goes through your faucet) or an RO unit (cold supply > external tap faucet) is your best bet. The sink filter will need to be replaced more regularly so costs add up more and filters less; the RO unit is separate for drinking water, you'll have more hard water spots on dishes and the like though. Either is a much better option than a Brita filter. If you can't modify your space as all (e.g., renting) I would get a couple of 5g water jugs and an automatic water dispenser lid for it (https://smile.amazon.com/Charging-Automatic-Drinking-Dispenser-Universal/dp/B07HFPC7HB). Another option is a standalone water dispenser, the one with the hot/cold kind.
You can usually find RO units and water dispensers on nellisauction.com btw.

I'm in SW / Enterprise with the gigabit service. It's been solid for almost 2 years now.
I've only had a technician out one time and the issue ended up being my own malfunctioning router. The initial support call was easy and the technician came the next day.
I never really had any problems with Cox other than having to call them every year to ask them to reapply their billing discount.
There's usually redundancy at the distro hub, not at the nodes.
If a car hits a telephone pole in your neighborhood, your cable goes out. There is no redundancy at that level. That is where they are doing the upgrades.
Definitely keep an eye on what's happening in NYC right now. NYC is going after AirBnB hosts for unpaid taxes (simple version), and it's pretty big. If AirBnB takes off in Vegas, I expect a similar fight.

In addition to the comments you’ll get here, Weather Underground has a weather calendar page. If you look at a past month, it will show you the weather that occurred. If you look at a future month, it will show you the historical averages.
Personally, I think October is a great month to visit just about anywhere in the southwest, but especially Vegas. The temps are such that you can go out to Red Rock or Valley of Fire and walk around and not have to do it first thing in the morning. You might need a light jacket at night, but there’s also a pretty good chance it will stay in the luggage.
> I wouldn’t use that period of time as a benchmark for normal Vegas weather.
Then don't. Wunderground has a great tool that I linked to below where you can search weather history by day. Pick any year. From when most people are at EDC (12 AM to 5 AM), the temperature is always in the 60s and 70s.

Okay, lets be honest for a second. If there was a bad steak house with bad service, it wouldn't be around.
Have you looked at TripAdvisor.com? They have reviews and ratings of all different kinds of restaurants: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g45963-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html
Personally, I prefer Gallagher's at New York-New York. Jean George at ARIA is very good too.
Ones I have not been to but have heard good things about are Golden Steer and the Steakhouse at Circus Circus.
Seaquest is a nice aquarium at the Boulevard mall. John's Incredible Pizza is right next door and they have a great Groupon for all you can eat and 2 hours of games for about $30/person https://www.groupon.com/deals/john-s-incredible-pizza-las-vegas-4
Looks a little stupid but its better than leaving you stuff unattended at the pool.

Bring a credit card, an ID, and a phone and throw them all in one of those. You'll want your phone in the pool for photos anyway, and no matter how waterproof your phone is you don't want it smelling like Vegas pool chemicals for a week.
Then bring a canvas/cloth bag and a bottle/can of sunscreen and throw your t-shirt/coverup in that. Throw that in any of the palm tree areas. Worst case is someone steals your bag with your t-shirt and sunscreen, and at $50-$60 they'd pretty much need to do that every single time for lockers to make economic sense. I think I've only had just my sunscreen stolen once in 50+ pool party days.
I use a countertop RO filter. It just screws into the end of your kitchen faucet (unless you have a fancy faucet with unusual threads--then you might have to get an adapter, though this unit comes with 3 adapters). Turn the water on slowly, flip the valve to filter, and poof--20ppm water trickles out the tube which you can stick in a jug. I set a 25 minute timer on my phone and have a gallon ready when it beeps. That's my main gripe--25 minutes to get 1 gallon. Beats driving to a watermill, though.

Report this on bedbugreports.com.
There's a heat treatment box you can buy on Amazon for heat treating clothes, luggage, etc. It's not cheap but it's a shite lot cheaper than paying for bed bug treatment for your home/apartment. Assuming you haven't gone home already. A steam cleaner that gets hot enough works too, just be extremely through.

There's deals on groupon for those drinks.
Groupon ALWAYS has coupon codes for an additional 20% or 30%. Look out for those.
People are mentioning the Stations casino buffets (Palace, Red Rock, Green Valley, Palms) and they have been in a steady slide on quality for the last couple of years and they arent worth the full price at all. The only time they are somewhat worth it is with a coupon and even then its been pretty dismal lately to the point my wife and I have skipped using the coupons for the 1st time since we moved here a few years ago. AYCE at Palms is another lackluster Stations choice.
You cant go wrong with Wynn or Bacchanal. Bacchanal can be got for $55ish a head mon thru thurs with groupon that includes a drink and express line pass.
There is a bar crawl on Friday nights at Red Rock. You download an app, sign up for a specific night, and visit 5 bars inside the resort where you get a drink at each one. There are some prizes you can win, and it's pretty cheap. There's a groupon for 2 people for $33. Plus, there's almost always a 20-25% off coupon. 10 drinks total for ~$26 ain't bad
Groupon has a duo Madame Tussads and High Roller all you can drink combo. It the cheapest way I've found right now. Groupon Link
I checked them out, they used to have that specific combo but don't offer them anymore. here's some different combo offers they have on the mob museum site The neon museum doesn't seem to offer any combo tickets at the moment, and haven't found a groupon combo either, but I did find this Vegas tour along with the neon museum on Groupon I hope this helps somehow!
Just got back from vegas, we were on a tight budget too. I took a chance on a Groupon for a massage just off the strip and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. Place is called paradise massage and it cost $39 for a 60 minute massage. Bonus points for being close to a dispensary, so you can run over there while your wife gets a massage.
According to Weather Spark, the average summer lows in Las Vegas (80° F) are higher than Melbourne's average summer highs (79° F). There's almost no comparison between the two cities - Las Vegas is quite significantly hotter.
Here's a calendar from weather.com with average temps in November. You're looking at highs in the 60s and 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s. Keep in mind that the dry air here makes cooler temperatures feel slightly colder than what you may be used to if you live a more humid environment.
I had an outdoor wedding here in late November last year and was quite comfortable wearing a short sleeved dress during the day. When night fell, I needed a jacket.
Your face got recorded by thousands of cameras starting the moment you stepped out of the airplane. Undoubtedly some of these were connected to facial recognition systems which are increasingly popular even appearing at gas stations and convenience stores. You can. That's how crowd sourced reputation websites make money. I'm not sure specifically how it's done on Yelp, but sites like BBB and Ripoff Report have things like "Corporate Advocacy Programs". They are pitched to the public like the sites working directly with the business in question to straighten out any issues that customers are unhappy with, what it really is, is you pay an arm and a leg to have their in-house writers write up pages of fluff content describing the great lengths your company has gone through to fix the specific issues, they post glowing reviews and bury the negative reviews.
Ripoff Report specifically will de-power the links and pages that have negative results for you, so that those webpages no longer rank on search engines and thus, they are hiding negative content on your company for you, at a price.
These sites have cold-call telemarketing departments that contact businesses with some negative content on their site to offer their advocacy stuff. At previous jobs, I've personally seen the details of both Ripoff Report and BBB, and I've heard from good sources that Yelp does it as well, and a simple google search "pay yelp remove negative reviews" brings up enough searches to lend credence to that.

Yelp seems a bit cheaper than the stuff I saw, Ripoff and BBB wanted something closer to the tune of a 20k "one time price", but you have to understand the racket these people are involved in. It's borderline mafioso crap, after they have you on the hook paying, they can quietly re-power the negative review pages and start hurting your business online, they can have their in-house content writers put together negative reviews to put the heat on you, it's really shady.
I think the original guy Frank has one, look for The Las Vegas Chapter of Depressed Anonymous on facebook it might pop up. Its on meetup.com is where I originally found the group.
I've used this machine for over 20 years, and I love it. I got it as I thought I could do as well as the shops I used to take my knives to. I am completely satisfied. This is a newer model than what I have, but I highly recommend them. https://www.amazon.com/ChefsChoice-Sharpener-Sharpening-20-degree-Abrasives/dp/B007MHEYW4/ref=sr\_1\_40?crid=PTAO1FL0JRC7&keywords=knife+sharpeners&qid=1643919210&sprefix=knife+shar%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-40
I know Amazon Fresh has single serving meals that are heat and eat. I'd imagine the Whole foods would have the same or similar, though it may be an occasional offering.
back at ya. just saw this in an email from the groupon today.
Risky Link or Naw???
Kraft Mountain Loop is a trail at Calico Basin in a turnoff before getting to the Red Rock loop.
Today was my first time visiting and it's a great moderate hike that's outside of the loops visitors fee and crazy traffic.
There were a ton of climbers around the area and I assume this trail must be a regular for them. Free parking, shorter drive, less foot traffic, and still a great hike with the full Red Rock experience.
The backside of the trail loop goes through a slot canyon between two ridges and unfortunately would not be good for doggos. There's a few 2-5ft drops/climbs between some sections. But if your feeling fit and want to get a little bit of bouldering in, it's perfect.
LOL... please stop the bullshit. You're the guy behind seospecialist.us so you know very well there's an SEO benefit to having Reddit links.
Also, your content is pure rewritten/spun crap designed to drive traffic to your "VIP Host" service, which by the way apparently sucks: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g45963-i10-k4903779-Don_t_use_Lavish_Las_Vegas_for_booking_your_night-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html
Shall I go on GR?
Not to burst your bubble, but many Vegas "apartments" on airbnb are illegally listed. You may want to make sure that everything is up to snuff with the listing
Look into airbnb because of LV tourism there are a lot of options plus you get reviews, etc.
Stay away from the weekly rate motels. For the most part they'll probably safe but there's a reason they have a reality show just about the Vegas lock up.
If you want, when you get some addresses PM me and I'll give you some thoughts on the area.
Good luck!
Keep it easy, just pick one. No point in driving out of the way unless you're buying $1000 worth of liquor.
Yeah, ok, so do you think this thing will run Fallout 4 well? BenchMark says yes and also this video suggests yes, but I'd like to know if you've ever run it or something similar and what settings/FPS did you use/get.
Buy one of these or something similar and keep it in your trunk. Less than 30 bux and will last years and years. Never have to drive around looking again, and you can help other people out too if their tires are low wherever.
If you don't need a US number or to text, go local with Three - https://www.three.co.uk/payg-data-packs
Their plans work in the US and the speed is... Well, usable is a word...
Otherwise, there are some "First month is included" SIMs on Amazon. For example - https://www.amazon.com/Lycamobile-Prepaid-Triple-Unlimited-Countries/dp/B07C9RXQWD
You can have it shipped to a close-by locker and just pick it up when you arrive.
Third options is to go to a big box store and buy a SIM card there. If you can score one from the big companies for a decent price, the more stable your connection would be (probably).
If you like meat, there's Pampas in Miracle Mile. They have a "Brazilian Meat buffet" all you can eat with a bunch of different meats, and a bar with tons of side dishes.
It's offering
2 Upgraded AYCEs, including their seafoods
1 hour of unlimited alcohol
One Dessert
2 people for $99, which is normally $180ish. Groupon had a coupon code for $25 off of any groupon DEAL50. Not sure if it still works, but it pops up every so often.
I had this place a few years back, I remember it being pretty good.
Go here.

You can't beat this, I did it about 1 month ago when I went. Free van ride to the site. I recommend the 4 hour ride, but 2 hour is good too. The groupon pics dont look anything like it. After you get on your ATV, you ride like 15 mins to get to the actual dunes.
Compared to all the other ATV places, you are legit riding on huge ass sand dunes here. Not some shitty valley with rocks, grass, and shrubs everywhere. Just sand upon sand-- you will literally feel like you are in the Sahara Desert in Africa.
Best part about it is the scenary. Its far enough from Vegas to the point where if you look around you, its just all sand for days. If you also go on a really hot day, it legit feels like you've just been transported to Africa.
Stu, have you looked at Groupon? The Mandalay Bay deal might interest you.
