We also just put a couple of these up this morning.
My dog eats the dog version of this. I have read a lot of other owners who also believe it works well for their dogs. I wouldn't be able to tell you that the cat version is good but if its anything like what we have... it's good.
I just ordered the shampoo one off Amazon does it work? https://www.amazon.com/Douxo-PYO-Shampoo-6-7-200/dp/B0947674MT/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=127695229147&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIooGupbGy-gIVFYZaBR1EDApZEAAYAiAAEgLcT_D_BwE&hvadid=580785705015&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9012090&hvnetw=g&hvq...
The playpen I'm looking at has a zippered top, but he could, possibly roll it, which is my worry.

She's probably bored, not getting enough mental and/or physical stimulation. Is she getting daily exercise? Smart toys are a good idea, there are bones that are nylon blends that are very safe (if they're taken away before getting too small) and great for rough chewers. Maybe try the Kong Wobbler for feedings, as well. Most dogs do better if you replace a negative behavior with a positive one, rather than scolding them after they've destroyed something, as their attention spans are very short and they won't always associate the punishment with the crime.

This product is great. Apply 3-4x daily. Don't touch tip of tube applicator to touch the eye itself.
My dog’s jowels were like that too but he had more wrinkles. It was from water/moisture getting trapped there. I’ve been using this and it’s helped immensely
Hi,
I have a German Shepherd that’s almost 10 now and I raised her from a puppy. For the first 6 months she mostly stayed in my room with news paperwork, and I periodically took her outside every 4 or 5 hours. You need to have a specific word for them that correlates with their bms. I chose “your Business.” & “do your Business.” Then when they do it you need to reward them with your happy voice and praise. Animals take time and diligence to train. Be aware they will attempt to run away, and refuse to listen for years. So you have to be smarter than them. Find out what they like and reward them with it. Don’t let it turn into a game when they are bad otherwise you’ll reinforce that behaviour. Don’t be angry either when they don’t listen otherwise they will be afraid of you and it will get worse. Also don’t hit them if at all possible. Hitting them will make them aggressive and does not actually teach them. Puppies have tons of energy so they will behave badly if not exercised enough. If you’re low on energy take them to a dog park and let them play.

This ^ is a great toy to mentally stimulate them as well as teach them patience and discipline. It works wonders and can help them focus.
If you praise them properly, withholding praise and raising your voice on necessary occasions should be sufficient to train them.
My dog had accidents when she got too excited even up to the age of 4. She still eats grass to this day and also poop. Especially animal poop. We had chickens so she ate that.
Worth a try. I know those collars are uncomfotable.

Vet here - those allergy tests at home are unfortunately not worth much. Immunology is very complex, and there's no demonstrated correlation between these supposed DNA antibody tests and a dog's actual in vivo allergy triggers. The only true way to determine what your dog is allergic to is with a typical skin grid injection series. So, don't put too much stock in the results. I think trialing a limited ingredient diet is a great idea, but your dog more than likely has an underlying infection that needs treatment. While you're waiting for a derm appointment, probably worth a visit with a regular vet to get him on the meds needs. Also, antimicrobial baths like this can help - leave shampoo on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. https://www.chewy.com/douxo-s3-pyo-antiseptic-antifungal/dp/290623?utm\_source=google-product&utm\_medium=cpc&utm\_campaign=12791446466&utm\_content=Douxo%20S3&utm\_term=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7Mz1trnz9gIVk7rICh2sNQ5MEAQYASABEgJwA\...
Looks like dry skin to me. Best advice I ever got from a vet tech was to use good ole regular dandruff shampoo because it's pH balanced. I also use an anti-bacterial/antiseptic/Antifungal shampoo on open or yeasty areas for my dog. He has severe allergies. Not saying this is a fix but my dog had some worms in her poop and this helped. But as the above person said I would strongly consider going to the vet. That looks pretty serious
This seems to be a case of Inflammation caused either by consistent scratching or use of topical products that have Alcohol or EDTA. please check with a Vet for a deeper analysis but if you have a delayed appointment the only product thats helped our lab with inflammation is PetGlow Doggy Ear Care as it has Turmeric which is really good when it comes to inflammation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096N52XHV
We also used this awesome rinse called chlorhexidine gluconate 2% to bathe her in and it got rid of the smell asap. They have it on amazon, here is the link. Just be sure not to get it in her eyes or ears.

Hi Vet tech here.. please use the PetGlow Dog ear infection on amazon or Walmart. It has turmeric and also has helped a lot of our folks when the Vet is hard.
First, thank you for asking and trying to do the right thing. This really does need vet attention. If your local area has a mobile vet, it’s a great option for scaredy cats. We caught a little feral girl who was terrified (climbing walls terrified) and have had great luck with gabapentin and the mobile vet. We also have these really cool carriers that snap down and they’ve been a game changer when we need to bring them in for more complicated procedures. I know it’s tough when kitty is scared, but you’d be surprised how well they can do when you find the right combo! Good luck!

I would only use one type of litter, the same type you have been is preferred. I would scoop the box at least 1-2x per day, wash the litter box with water and Dawn dish soap (blue one with the duck) once a week or biweekly and replace with fresh litter, and get an enzymatic cleaning spray to remove odors from the carpet.
I would put at least 3 inches of litter in the box. Some cats indoor cats still like to completely bury their poop. Also, a feline pheromone could help calm her. There's a great one called Feliway that you can plug in near the litter box and covers 700 sq ft.
I've known cats that are medically healthy and continue to do this despite the owners efforts. Sometimes it's the new norm for whatever reason, but it never hurts to get a physical exam or call your vet. You can get a poop sample tested too just to make sure she doesn't have intestinal parasites - you won't see the eggs with your naked eye.
I hope this helps.
Enzymatic cleaner, recommended by a board certified veterinary behaviorist I used to work with: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008A79YLG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_5VN0C7JPTCPV4961HE9X?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I treated mine with the pills! I can’t even imagine doing injections.
I used a Long pill popper thingpill popper and dipped it in purée. As soon as he would go to lick, I would stick it in his mouth and pop the pill in the back of the throat.
Took about two weeks to adjust and get used to it but after that It was like treat time to him.
That looks nice. I got this one OurPets IQ Treat Ball Dog Ball Dog Toy & Dog Slow Feeder (Interactive Dog Toys, Dog Puzzle Toys, Treat Dispensing Dog Toys - Great Alternative to Slow Feeder Dog Bowls) 2 Size Options-Colors May Vary https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ARUKTG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_78VZJKQTXKQQK7DJSPF4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 but he got bored of it quickly.
Also, good news! He just ate his first meal after his intermittent fasting days!

Not a vet but a dog groomer, unfortunately hematomas happen after the blood circulation is cut off from severe matting. When the groomer shaved off the matts, all the blood rushes to the tips of his ears. As the other commentator said, shaking the head is preventing it from healing. We’ve used happy hoodies (similar to the other comment) to prevent the ears from shaking. I’m sorry this is happening to your pup! Hopefully it heals quickly
Yeah I was irritated when I didn’t get information about the dosing but I didn’t push because she seemed irritated for some reason.
Of course! Really hoping the best for you guys! Can’t see it being something worse than the pyoderma at least tho. Btw is his nose running more than normal?
If it does get worse or starts bleeding at all, call your vet back and tell them you believe this to be urgent and want in ASAP. If they don’t listen go to another vet, or emergency. You do not want it to start bleeding, trust me.
Which reminds me. If you don’t have stiptic powder at home, get some. If you ever cut a quick or something it’s essential, lol.
OMG I'm so silly. I'm buying a surgical recovery suit from Amazon. Is this what you were looking for?
Thank you for replying! So the vet said it's anxiety and said just keep her from licking it, which as you can see, hasn't been working out so well. The anti anxiety meds and collars didn't work on her. The area is still wet so it's getting on the onesie but it's fine, I'm just washing them and changing her daily. Her tummy hangs out at the end on one of the onesies, it's really saggy so sometimes I caught her trying to lick it but for the most part she stopped.
Peroxide just sounded straight painful so I didn't do anything but keep it clean. I wanted opinions on this item I found on Amazon called Silverquine.. If it works, I really wanted to get it for her and try but I'm obviously unsure.

Most of his spots are all over his back. When I noticed late June it was only a few spots, but they were pink/red enough to make me worry. By July they started to improve! But now he had another outbreak much larger than before. The spots are mostly flat with bo texture. Some are dry/flaky, and some of them you can tell my dog has been biting at them. Please help! I’m also using a skin vitamin called salmon bites for skin health
We recently did a big move with my two cats (13yo and 5yo, right around 15lbs each) and dog. Without pets it would’ve been a 10 hour drive, but it was pushing 13 due to traffic and frequent stops. We got a car carrier like this one that we stuffed with their blankets and cat nip. I set the box up about 2 months before we went on our trip and let them get used to it. We also used feliway in the car (we had just a normal type plug in outlet in the car). One of my cats gets stressed really easily and I gave him gabapentin too. I offered water every 2-3 hours and made sure they had access to small amounts of food the entire trip. Neither of them ate. For the litterbox, same issue. I knew from moving a shorter distance (8 hours) that they probably would hold it. I still offered about halfway through the trip, but neither used it.
My older cat also flew when he was around 5yo. It was a 2.5 hour flight plus about 4 hours in the airport. He did great. I offered water and food at the airport and got a collapsible litterbox, which he didn’t use lol. We were able to find a small room in the airport that I let him out of his carrier in. If your cat gets stressed easily, it may be a good idea to give gabapentin for flying too. My older cat is super chill most of the time.
It isn’t the safest to have them roaming around the car, but maybe yours may benefit from that if you are set on driving. You can stuff towels and things under your seat so he doesn’t get somewhere he isn’t supposed to. Any type of traveling is definitely stressful for cats.
I remember that they had told me it could be from skin contact or by eating something. And is almost fungal like. One thing I used was this wash on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0037Z6VK8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_ZCSPHKCT9AAAZ6MEJ0DX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You can buy a pill cutter at any pharmacy - however, Pepcid AC usually comes in squares so I know how hard they are to evenly split in a pill cutter that's usually designed for round pills. Something I do that's a life hack by vet professionals: buy a pair of large dog nail clippers (link below because there are a few variations of nail clippers) And these are the best thing IMO to split pills of any shape and size. Line them up to the center of the pill and just clip. It's very easy, little mess and more accurate.
