USP Motorsports has a wireless charger that looks OEM.

I recently installed a CarlinKit wireless CarPlay adapter in my MK7 and it works great with a stock CarPlay head unit. I have a 2015 with a 2018 Golf R MIB2 unit swapped in. I just 3M taped the CarlinKit to the top of the storage cubby in the back so it’s not visible.

I have the same white with black accents Golf and one of the only things I’ve added were black headlight eyelids. It’s such a minor thing, but I feel it makes quite the difference. Some call it tacky, but I love the look of it.

Not aware of anything that that will convert the CD player but you can get Bluetooth devices that plug into the 12v and play through the stereo on an FM frequency.

It comes with adhesive backing, but the badge itself is hollow so I'm not sure how much surface contact there will be. I might have to fill in the backside with a resin of some sort.

I go for the YOSH magnetic phone holder and place it in the middle air vent, but I’d recommend getting a phone case with a metal ring on the back just to give it that extra strength.

Like Zuuul said, pretty easy to do takes almost no effort depending how perfect you want it to be, personally I didn’t want to take the whole centre console out and wire it in, so it’s just routed under the passenger seat. Issue with mine was just that the centre console atm rest has a iPod dock not a 12v socket so I have to run an extension from the one in the tray above the shifter. I’m trying to find an iPod to 12v atm to get it tidied up but it looks clean at night nonetheless. Worth it imo. Look at the two thin slots on the very left of your picture. I'd try that.

I have a 2012 TDI, and I had this issue until I changed the filter to this filter. Since then I haven’t had any issues at all and when I would smell it, it would be in the summer when I turned on the AC. However I brought my car from Oregon to Arizona so now it’s really dry and I don’t get any musty smells. Are you leaving the air on when you turn off the car? I notice a smell sometimes if I leave the blower on when I turn the car off.

Really easy to install. If you search on YouTube there is an easy tutorial video. Might just need an extra set of hands to hold it while installing but I just used a jack
