after you download whatever show from the WWE Network you're after with either Adownloader or LetMeAtIt, you can use CCExtractor to make an .srt file from the embedded captions in the video file. The SRT can then be opened in Notepad or Wordpad if you so wish.
Keep in mind that certain devices are gonna be harder to use because of limited features. I use WWE Network with ExpressVPN and usually watch through my PC and Tablet. Whenever I want to put it on the TV I usually just cast it over.
Don’t cave in to Peacock, it’s not worth the price for the limited features and content they’re offering. Especially if you’re watching live events, WWE Network is the better streamer.
Everyone who’s telling you otherwise clearly don’t how to work a VPN or are just lazy in doing a few minutes of research to set it up.
There’s always a way with a VPN. I’ve been using since the network left the US, still using the original WWE Network today. I use NordVPN through my router and pushes data to my Xbox so I can watch it there too.
It’s like cable but streaming & affordable. You get to choose a basic set of channels for a certain price & you can cancel anytime.
They should Have a free trial offer, so you should check it out to see if it works for you. The offer on the link is at the bottom of the page. That’s how I was able to watch tv for a while in college.
Sling Blue has USA & TNT (for AEW). Check it out. I don’t know if it changed, but I remember that if you live in the west coast-you can watch east coast airing. Hopefully this works!!!
I just used a VPN and reactivated my WWE Network subscription right now.
I looked up this same question wondering the same. And I tried it. It works for me so far.
I’m in the US, using my MacBook.
All I did was download the free version of ProtonVPN. There’s only 3 country servers to connect to if you’re using ProtonVPN for free and those are US, Japan, and Netherlands.
I connected to the Netherlands server. Then opened the WWE Network, opened my account details, and clicked to reactivate my subscription. Entered my billing information as usual and became subscribed again just like that.
The network says my account subscription is “Active” now. And so far, it’s streaming perfect. No lag, no problems. I’ll update if I do experience any issues.
I don’t know if this answered your question. But just want to inform you, I was able to easily subscribe using a free VPN.
The Tor method still works to reactivate your account. But the peacock block will still remain when you get off the Tor. Yes I use NordVPN, however I"m using it through my CFW Merlin Asus router right now. I can access the WWE Network on my home network fine and through the Xbox. The Peacock is gone, also my billing is still US. Rather have it set because I live in Oregon since I don't get charged tax. I'm using my day 1 account. Feb 24, 2014. If your using NordVPN, make sure you delete cookies and try again.
So, you’re using NordVPN? I tried that earlier with no luck. I really hate they moved to peacock. I really hate to ask this if you, but is it possible for you to type up steps on how you did this? Did you use your original account or did you have to setup a new one using the vpn and country?
For now now no. The method still works to re activate your account but the peacock block is still there but you can use a VPN right after that to get access to it. I'm doing that right now with my CFW Router to use NordVPN to access my Xbox WWE App right now.
Same boat as you. I tried Peacock on my Nvidia Shield TV using NordVPN and it's hit or miss.... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.... Sometimes it works for a bit then I get the VPN blocker message.... I'll give it a shot but if the problem persists, I'll just have to move on from the WWE Network I guess (as much as it saddens me). I cut the cord a few years back and have no intention on going back... Just sucks that it's the only mechanism in Canada to actually get it without doing the American account. 😕
I was good the whole night through, except for a brief one second buffer during the Divas championship match, and again during Taker/Brock when my stream's video quality suffered for about 5 or 6 seconds. Nothing really worth mentioning.
I'm on Start Communications in Canada, with a 30meg download/10 meg upload connection, routed through Unblock-Us.
Mmmm, boy, I love being right, haha. Glad it worked for you, though.
The VPN I use is Private Internet Access (PIA). Not free, but pretty damn cheap. $40 for a year of service, and it's really high quality. Good speeds, lots of features.
