DS Battery Saver saved a lot of battery for me since my signal strength isn't that good when i'm in school and I don't have access to a wifi network at the time.
The link scared me a bit.. >https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rootuninstaller.batrsaver

I thought I was going to lose my root. He DID make an app called root uninstall.
(If I go into slumberer mode, I dont get any messages until I unlock my phone, right?)
Try DS (Deep Sleep) Battery saver, puts phone into deepsleep and shuts down apps when the screen is turned off. You can choose when to allow it to wake in settings https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rootuninstaller.batrsaver&hl=en

Depending on how vital it is to get notifications asap, you could look into one of the several ways/apps to turn your wifi/data off when the screen is off, turning on periodically to grab notifications before going back off. Something like Deep Sleep Battery Saver or, if you already have it: Tasker.
Otherwise, I think under Settings>Wifi>Advanced there's an option to "Avoid Poor Wifi" or something like that, but combined with a poor cell signal, I don't know if that's really much of a solution.
1) See those yellow bars on the left side? It means your screen was on and the phone was being used at certain times during the interval you're showing in that Battery Monitor history.
To get a more accurate picture of idle battery drain (which is what you're asking about) you need to leave the phone with the screen off for a while then take a look. It also helps to fully charge the battery first.
2) More than likely you have some apps running in the background (when your screen is off) that keep the cpu/phone awake, preventing it from deep sleeping and consuming less battery.
For me to know what apps these are or what may be the source of these wakelocks, I need more info. Since you're not rooted, take screen shots of your battery. Be sure to click on the battery graph to get a pic like this:
3) You can try this app for a quick fix https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rootuninstaller.batrsaver
I haven't tried it myself but it shows great promise and it should help your phone deep sleep and reduce idle battery drain.
Reduce your screen brightness, reduce the frequency of your social networking apps' sync time, disable auto-sync on Gmail, disable location services in Maps, install DS Battery Saver, disable Bluetooth when you're not using it, disable GPS if you're not using it (by default it will just poll the network/wifi for a rough location vs fine), and use Wifi vs 3G/4G. There's probably more, but that's all that comes to mind.

I keep this app installed to use when I'm the same situation you described. Also use it on my tablet all the time, keeps me running for 4-5 days.

Deepsleep battery saver constantly puts the device into deepsleep mode while the screen is off, and turns it on for a set period of time. For example sleep for 30min, wake up for 1min. During awake time it will sync your emails and social network. I find this very handy when using 4G
I use this app on my g2 increasing the battery life even more making it so I only need to charge every 2-3 days.

I was using this until I realized it was worse on wake locks than Facebook's app. I removed it and my b attery life increased a ton. Lesson learned.
Wait one sec, some one found an app yesterday that may help you out..
This App apparently forces your phone into a deep sleep and can vastly increase battery performance. It does not have any affect to calls/messaging.
