It's an amazing, indie horror game that came out recently. IIRC, it's the first of it's kind to do what it does. It's scares are truly unexpected, and doesn't just rely on jumpscares to get you. The story behind it is creepy and mysterious, which adds to the atmosphere of the game. If you want to check it out, you can get the demo, here.

Don't believe anyone who compares it to Slender, or Amnesia. They act like it's awful to have a successful horror game out there, and they like to hate anything YouTubers do. (Which in this case, was help the game become big.) Not only is it completely different from those two games, but it can't be just a "trend" if a HUGE amount of people like the game for what it is. To think that good games are a "trend" is just stupid.
There is a new game out called "Five Nights at Freddy's:. Its a great and fantastic game. What the game is about is its a Workplace Simulator where you play as a security guard and have you use camera and door to keep individuals out while conserving power. Its really an excellent and fun game.
Its currently on Desura and IndieDB for about 5 US dollars for the full game or free demo (ends at second night).

It's "Five Nights at Freddy's" I think. Horror game where you're a night manager at a chuckie-cheeses type restaurant where the animatronics move around at night. That doesn't clarify why it's scary at all but this steam page should.
Before we get some brothers in here commenting on the influx of Greenlit games: Five Nights at Freddy's is actually, as far as the recent glut of indie horror games goes, really scary even though it does contain screamer-esqe scare moments. Markiplier, Yamimash, and RT Play Pals have all played FNAF, and its been great at scaring the hell out of them.
It's hard to believe with the banner image, but not only does the game build a tense atmosphere and promote different playstyles (the <strong>wiki</strong> for the game is growing with more strategies), but the uncanny valley approach actually makes the scares... well, scary. Also, five bucks is a pretty good price for the game, given that it isn't some Early Access garbage or a beta game pushed through as finished.

Yes, I did. As I said before, yes they are wrong about the release date for the OG game, but they most likely got mixed up cause earlier today someone brought up that today was in fact the 3 year anniversary for FNaF's release on steam.
Either way no need to have a slappy fight. :P

でもわざわざ「Long」を付けてるって事は、『The Parkは（従来の）戦闘やアクションの替わりにストーリーテリングや探索に重点を置いた、1～2時間の長きに渡る主観的な精神恐怖体験である』って感じのニュアンスだろう
たとえばオバケ屋敷が1時間も続けばそれは「長い、満足感のある」という認識になるだろうし、ホラー映画なんて神経使うもんだから大体1時間半で終わるようになってる
ストアページには他にドヤ顔で「Narrative」の文字も出てくるし、これが誇大広告でなければ、なんらかのゲームを超えたような演出や仕掛けが用意されてるんじゃないかな
実在の例を挙げると「Five Nights at Freddy's」シリーズはそこらのフラッシュゲームに負けるほど簡素な作りでプレイ時間も1時間程度とたかが知れてるけど500～800円の価格設定だし9割以上のレビュアーに支持される人気のタイトルになってる（実際チープだけどアイデアと演出は面白い）
If it possible to get 2 games that, combined, are under $15, I request Fuve Nights at Freddy' 1 & 2. If not, then FNaF 1 will be fine.
FNaF fits the theme of halloween because it is a horror "suvival" game where you must survive 5 nights with animatronics that have come to live and want to stuff you in an empty suit.

If you are in to horror movies that aren't only about jumpscares, I would recommend 4 movies: Cabin in the Woods, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and Trick-r-Treat. All movies are psychological suspense movies (with a few jumpscares), but overall, great films.
I think you should play any TellTale game you own (I see the Wolf Among Us in your library). Those games are great if you love narrative stories that make you really question your morality.

Why would you say the FNaF 2 tapes are prerecorded? Because of the "summer job"? Remember, FNaF 1 welcomes you to your "new summer job," and FNaF 1 takes place in November. Not a summer month if I remember correctly.
Also, Fritz was the third nightguard. Jeremy was the second, and Purple Guy was the first. No others before that. Not at that location anyways.

Keep in mind that we've seen the original location, the one where the Withered's originated from. Scott has been known to screw up definitions, as shown with the '"Summer Job" tagline. Speaking of which....
The game description of FNaF 1 clearly states that it is a summer job. Explain that if Mike works in November.
I thought you were referring to the company and not the animatronics, sorry. But they originated from the "original location" that was left to rot for "quite a while". Not FNaF 2's location.

I missed out on this one so hard. I've been crazy busy between work and school the past few months, so I never got a chance to look into this game while everyone else was going wild over it. Once I actually saw what this game is about, I wanted it. It looks awesome, it looks like a lot of goofy fun, and I would love to livestream this on Twitch so commenters could tell me how much I suck and how big of a baby I am. It's a personal dream of mine to be furiously insulted by the Internet, you see.

Steam is filled with random shit, not completely filled. The whole early access where "you can see the game grow, only for 20$" where a shit tons of devs are just running away with the money and not keeping there promises, is total bullshit and there not doing anything about it. And okay I get it there working on source and l4d okay, but that still doesn't mean they can just leave people getting scammed and no I am not saying this because I got fucked by some shit game. I'm saying this because they need quality control.
