There are a few of these types of games around but the first encounter I had with them was Cookie Clicker.
I didn't hate the vid, and hey, it's an evening with, it's not like it's going to be a series so can't see the point getting too het up about it.
[Well, pyrionflax said in his stream](#s "sips and his mates were already raided by "the orcs" who grouped up on them. Sips appearently survived, but their base was mostly destroyed.")
edit: They are talking about it for an hour starting at 01:06:00 https://www.twitch.tv/nvidia/v/61980296. Most interesting is 01:41:00 - 01:43:00.
Dwarf fortress http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/ or http://lazynewbpack.com >Dwarf Fortress is a single-player fantasy game. You can control a dwarven outpost or an adventurer in a randomly generated, persistent world.
It's basically what Towns was trying to be, and Gnomoria can be called the light version of this game. It can be played with a tile set so that the general audience knows what is going on. The game is also free because the creator is near fully supported through patreon.
If you want to see what the point is, skip ahead to what the future holds by checking out what Pyrion Flax and his Orcs have built. It's fucking amazing. (Side note, Sips has a cameo on this server as well)
So I have twitch email me when he goes live, then have IFTTT (www.ifttt.com) see that email and send my watch a custom notification. I have something similar for YouTube uploads too.
If you have IFTTT and an android wear watch, I published the recipe so you can reuse :):
i would love sips to play watch_dogs. see his reactions, that kind of thing.
or possibly a kickstarter game, 10,000BP, a game that is just purely survival.
EDIT: added another game
@ Sips: I assume it's okay for me to do this, right? If not, I sincerely apologise.

Hey there! As a big fan of Yogscast Sips, I decided that it would be fun to have him in my Minecraft game. So when I was bored, I decided to make a little resource pack which replaces all villagers with Sips - both the textures and the sounds. If people really like this and are supportive of the idea, I'm planning on doing this for the other Yogscast members as well. Another idea I've got is to change ALL entities in the game to versions of Sips. How amazing would Sips chickens (or ducks, as he calls them) be? If you guys like these ideas, please let me know in the comments and press the like button! I need to know if people want to see those things happen, before I actually start working on it.
How about a flash game? I recently played SUPERHOTline Miami, which is supposed to be some sort of SUPERHOT/Hotline Miami half breed. It's a disgusting abomination that I loved. Also, Sips, if you haven't played SUPERHOT it's pretty damn good.
There really isn't that much content compared to what we've all come to expect from many of these open-world games with base-building components. But it's early access, so I won't hold that against the game.
The dev team seems to intend monthly patches. Assuming Sips is still playing this game in 3 or 4 weeks, there should be another patch. And he'll probably have to start over again. Not sure how long he can keep that up before restarting over and over again gets too tedious.
there is this piece of software that I ended up getting because i couldn't get fallout to run in fullscreen. it's called windowed borderless gaming and it just makes it look like you're playing in fullscreen when you are in windowed mode. i found fallout to be more possible to run in windowed mode so i got that so the playing "looked better". however i'm not sure how it interacts with fraps (or whatever capture tool you use) so hopefully that isn't a problem.
i don't think this is urgent for recording purposes but it does help a lot if you don't like playing games in windowed mode.
It took me 22 hours to beat it, based on my Steam playtime, which is pretty close to the average, according to howlongtobeat.com. That was with a high intelligence character, though, and I also did a good deal of the side-quests in the game, so I couldn't say how long it'll take for Sips.
How about this game called Hard Time? It's a real fun prison sim, fun in the way it's somewhat broken, but I'd love to see him play it. It's absolutely free to play as well! http://download.cnet.com/Hard-Time/3000-2097_4-10629141.html

Frostpunk: http://www.frostpunkgame.com/
It's a steampunk survival/citybuilder set in an alternate 19th century where some cataclysmic event resulted in a massive drop in global temperature plunging the world into a new ice age. Remnants of the British Empire try to survive by building huge steam heaters in the frozen wastelands. You have to control a group of survivors as they find one of these heaters, making tough decisions (literally along the lines of "should we put the children to work in the mines?") and carefully managing your resources to keep the cold and hunger away.
i think sips would really enjoy maia. it is still in alpha, but the latest build seems pretty stable.
it's like dwarf fortress, but colonising an alien planet! seems like the kind of game sips likes to play and it would fill the towns-shaped hole in my heart.
also, it's pretty hard to keep your colonists from all dying, so chances are it would end up not being too long a series.
If you are asking where to find the game, the name is "There's poop in my Soup" (it was in the video description when sips and lewis played it together).
Here's the link on steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/449540/
Oh and there is a free demo on the game's website: http://gamejolt.com/games/there-s-poop-in-my-soup/125021
sips should play "magical diary"
it's a text based game similar to "long live the queen", but instead you're a young witch attending her first year of magic school.
it's currently in the (weekly humble bundle)[https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly] and not as bad as it looks.
Guys seriously.... srosly: Project Zomboid
Indie game that makes zombie apocalypse fun, I think Cry played it some couple of years ago when it was in the early stages of development, besides that no famous fun youtuber ever plays it.
Its fun as hell, lots of tension and jump scares, all with a pixalated screen, death is certain...
Sips!!!! There's a great new game on Steam Called Darkest Dungeon which is pretty addicting and fun.
Website : http://www.darkestdungeon.com/
Steam : http://store.steampowered.com/app/262060/
The game is a rouge like which will most likely having you ripping your dick off after about 2 runs. Just because it's a rouge like it doesn't mean there's no progression you can gain a plethora of hero's who you bring on adventures which you can get really attached to which makes it even sadder when they die. The game is really challenging but the fact that its so negative means that when something goes right and the RNG gods shine on you you'll get really hype.
I really wanna see you do a lets play of it I think you'd love it!
How about a little flash game called Corporation Inc, It's an office building simulation where office drones push buttons to make ~~money~~ the big ones, and every once in a while managers would motivate the workers by beating the crap out of them with battons. The game plays a little like Sim Tower and at most has about 30 minutes of content before becoming repetitive. But Throw Sips into the mix and we'll get a building full of bastards working at Sipsco's corporate office.
As a fan and developer, I'd love to see Sips play MagMag, a physics puzzle platformer based around magnetism. It would be amazing to see how hard the game can be. Not something I get to see often! Plus, the game is very short, so it could easily be covered in a single video.
the ur-quan masters HD!!! some say it is one of the best classic games of all time; its been remastered in HD, a funny space sim rpg, lots of games are now based off it, but ive played it tons of times its still awesome every time because the story is so good (and many different endings and ways to play). you can upgrade your ships, combat guns, landers, and travel to tons of stars and planets! buy and find goodies!
and its forever FREE! it is kinda old tho so id suggest maybe a night with sips video trial first to see if you like it
heres the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PUsLMSLam0
the actual game is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/urquanmastershd/
I would Like to suggest Gang Beasts it makes for a great vs multiplayer 2-4 players not so much single player it has it but not that good yet and only on street stage. You do need to play on the same PC nothing online yet but you can map controls however you want and use xbox control etc. This has gave me hours of fun very wacky fighting control but strangely competitive trying to swing wild punches to grab and throw your opponent into an incinerator or grinder or just an over the top rope battle royal. It's a free alpha at http://www.indiedb.com/games/gangbeasts/downloads and just freshly steam greenlit http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/updates/223877465 even if this game doesn't make the cut for a Sips video it's worth anyone checking out for themselves. PS- Just noticed this I love that to post the button says I'll do it!
This game seems nice, ,kind of a Game Dev Tycoon type game but more in depth?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/606800/Startup_Company/?utm_source=reddit-b15
Theme Hospital! Please Sips, Theme Hospital!
Absolute classic old sim/management game. It has the perfect amount of bizarre humour, crazy characters and wacky situations that you would absolutely shine in.
It's $5 on Origin but there is also a free open source remake which is meant to improve resolution, bugs, etc.
Although this has nothing to do with the topic Sips. Have you fought about a website that you can sell like them postcards from the Best VLOG? It would be much more easy and save more time? Just a random Fought! Heres a link: https://www.etsy.com/
According to SteamDB (My page), I have 107 unplayed games, that's 57% of my Steam Library. Now, I'm not going to list these off, but I do know I have bought many games part of bundles that I will probably never play. Heck, i have at least a dozen games from the 2014 Jingle Jam and the 2013 bundle that I haven't played. There are so many games that I own because they are/were cheap/part of a bundle.
I dont know why but i cant see the info i wrote in this post so ill post it as a comment!

Strap yourself in! I've just found the best thing ever on kickstarter Bear Simulator. It won't come out until November but I want to see Sips play it so bad!
OK, Sips, there's a game you really ought to play. It's a flash game, reminiscent of the Final Fantasy type genre, with added humor! In fact, there's two of them that I'd highly recommend, because I know you'd love them! The first is Epic Battle Fantasy III, which is free on several sites, notably Armorgames (linked) and Kongregate
The second is actually a Steam Greenlighted (Greenlit?) game, Epic Battle Fantasy IV
He's engaging in a profession, he's paid to do it, and I think he does it rather well. That seems to meet all of the criteria for 'professional'.
I have created two IFTTT recipes for Sips lovers to be notified of activities on their Android watches. You need to have the Twitch/Youtube updates to go to your Gmail for now - until I can think of another way.
I have left them open so you can change the details :)
Streaming: https://ifttt.com/recipes/281786-sips-is-streaming
Sword of the Samurai. If you haven't heard of it like I haven't since last night, it sounds super lame, but it really is genuinely fun. It's on steam for like $5 or something, but it's basically you as a samurai building your position up to unite Japan in the feudal Japan as Shogun. You can duel(kenjutsu) with random samurai or kill a bunch of peasants, lead other samurai into battle with battle strategies, etc. I would think an evening with sips would be better than a full play through because it doesn't really seem like anything you would want to play long-term due to your new walkthroughs, i.e. The Sims and Ethan Carter. It was made in 1989 by Sid Meiers right after he made Pirates! and it is easily one of his most overlooked games. The only downside is the controls are challenging to get used to at first, but after you get the hang of it it really starts to be fun. I would recommend playing it a while and getting the controls down before you start recording because it might be boring for some viewers to watch you fail, like I did, for the first 10 minutes.

Yes! This 100 times over! It's on steam for $5 and it would be wonderful, you gotta set up a cam so we can see your reaction. Maybe play it with Simon or something.
oh shit and there was just a subnautica update today; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qptyqKkeaJQ,
although that video is definitely the one that sips saw at the start of this series (the video was linked in today update notes), i guess they added a bit more to that sequence http://unknownworlds.com/subnautica/crash-sequence/
Banished is coming out in February 18. It's an indie town building game with awesome mechanics and it looks gorgeous. Knowing how much Sips love town building games (Towns, SimCity, etc.) I bet he would enjoy this game a lot!
There's a flash game on Armor Games called Corporation Inc. Where you build an office building, employ workers and managers who beat workers with clubs. It plays like Sim Tower, kind of. Add Sips to the mix we can take a look at Sipsco Corporate HQ.
Sips you should really check out Fallout 2, it's a little more open ended than the first Fallout and plays about the same. Also have you heard about the multiplayer Morrowind mod?
I think a good idea for an "evening with sips" would be the game cave story, it's a great, free 8-bit game with fantastic music. you can either get the free original version from http://www.cavestory.org/ or you can get "cave story+" from steam. But honestly, I think the original is better than cave story+.
If you want to download it from the website, go to downloads, and download cave story deluxe, or you could download the Japanese, and get the English translation patch, but deluxe is much easier.
I've played this game time and time again, so i'd love to see the real guy, the best guy, give it a go.
I don't think the video needs any special editing - people have intros / outros, but I feel like a simple voice intro while standing still is fine.
I think the video only needs chopping to make it more succinct. I haven't tried any Free video editors but did a quick Google and saw:
https://www.youtube.com/editor - not sure if it cuts videos
https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=102&Itemid=213 - the Free features look alright
But of course no pressure - the whole Rust thing should just be enjoyable. If you aren't personally keen on making the videos then we shall rely on Sips to record your German antics :)
A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Jurassic 5, Tupac, Biggie!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaIDj6vBEoU
Should check out Almost Anonymous, new group but they sound old school as fuck; really good music and their album is a free download:

Hey, sips
First of all want to say, im a huge fan of you, ive watched almost every video on your channel. and cant imagine what youtube be like for me if u werent there, so thanks and keep up the videos!
also i started working on a game called lava run which is basicly an endless runner game. and i finally got a working beta finshed and was wondering if you could check it out and maybe play it. it would help me out alot.
Heres a link to the game:
http://gamejolt.com/games/platformer/lavarun/21503/
Thanks for reading this! cheers
There's an official D&D Starter Set that has everything you need to get started. It's fairly cheap but be warned, it can turn into an expensive hobby once you start buying all the books and accessories.
http://www.amazon.com/Dungeons-Dragons-Starter-Set-Roleplaying/dp/0786965592
Hey Sips, if you liked the hip hop scene and it changing around Suge Knight check out the book "Have Gun Will Travel" not a documentry but still a really interesting book to read :)
Dear Sips,
Since I don't want to advertise anything in your subreddit as I feel that would dishonor your greatness, I don't really have like a big game I'd like you to play, or do a series on but recently I just finished an app, and it would mean a lot to me if you could just give it a shot!
The app is relatively new, but so far I managed to get a few people hooked on playing it. So I felt the app was good enough to share!
The App is called is "Circle Rush", and so far it is for Android devices only (so if you use an iOS device then I'm sorry for bothering you).
I'll provide the link here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.overcooked.circlerush.bartified
But yeah this is a really small game, and don't want you to do a video on it because come on that would be like a 3-4 min video xd But I was wondering maybe you could try this in your spare time. I feel like it is great time spender wherever you are, even if you are taking a #2, that's when your concentration is at max!
I'd like to thank you in advance oh mighty Sips!
Edit: If you did get a chance to play it, I'd really love to know what you think of it!
