Not any short videos, YouTube Shorts. They're a new type of video that YouTube introduced last year.
They're vertical format and have their own section in the app. Small channels everywhere are reporting getting thousands of views on them, apparently YouTube is recommending them to a lot of people.
You can read more about it here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/10059070?hl=en
Oh and if you're an up and coming YouTuber, I've also written two guides with tips for growing your channel, you can check out the first part here: https://flixier.com/blog/these-25-tips-will-help-you-get-more-views-on-youtube
Quick search gave me this: https://flixier.com/tools/blur-or-pixelate-video
Seems free? But maybe not.
If that doesn’t work. I think davinci resolve is going to be your best bet. It will take some time to learn, but there are tons of great tutorials out there to use to learn it.
I found this post when I started recording audio, following the steps helped me.

But who am I to give advice, you have way more videos than me.
This is a super interesting topic, so much so that I actually wrote an article on it a few months back.
My take on it is that it will definitely help, but you need to take the time to EDIT your VODs into GOOD YOUTUBE VIDEOS.
That means making thumbnails, an intro and cutting the VODs down to an acceptable length and getting rid of any dead air.
It might seem like a lot of work at first but the truth is it can be much easier to get discovered on YouTube than on Twitch.
Not to mention that cloud video editing software makes things a lot easier and faster nowadays so you don't have to spend hours waiting for your YT video to render.
You can start by looking up the Streamlabs app on the appstore. With it you should be able to stream the games from your iPhone and there's nothing stopping you from opening up your stream to talk to the chat on the iPad.
I wrote this guide on the subject a few months back: https://flixier.com/blog/how-to-stream-games-on-twitch-from-an-android-phone
My guide is for the Android version but I'm willing to bet that the app works the same on iOS if you give it the right permissions.
I want to release a guide for iOS as well since I have an iPad I can play around with now, but I haven't had the time to do it yet.
Hope this helps!
I struggled with this a lot as well and after lots of watching tutorials and trying things out I kind of figured out the steps I needed to take and wrote a guide about it.
I hope it helps!
We made Flixier with this exact scenario in mind! It's a cloud video editor that lets you import footage from cloud storage services and edit collaboratively.
That means that if you both have Flixier accounts, your client can upload his footage to the shared team library and you can use it in your projects and edit it (without having to download anything).
You can even share review links so you can show him your work without having to render the video and send large files back and forth. It's pretty much like Google Docs!
You can read more about it on our website and if you have any questions, I'd love to answer them.
If you're just starting out and are planning to edit on a laptop I would also recommend trying Flixier. We're a small start-up and our editor is very easy to use and runs in the cloud, which means all the heavy processing is done on our servers.
That means the software runs well on any machine and rendering is done in a couple minutes instead of a few hours, not to mention it won't cause your laptop to overheat while rendering.
We offer a free demo plan on our website if you want to try it out! And if you need help with anything you can feel free to ask me any questions you have as well!
