I would recommend iMovie since it is free and easy to learn. It is limited but for just starting out it is highly recommended. Next best thing to use is Final Cut Pro and you can use a 90 day free trial version. Go to https://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/trial/. Final Cut Pro has a lot more options while editing and is a step up from iMovie.
take a selfie with a plain & simple background
go to canva.com , you need canva pro
upload that photo, click on that photo, click edit image
click background remover. click apply.
then edit image again. go to Shadows. click on glow. click into the controls.
pick the color WHITE. set size 5. transparency 70. blur 2.
play around with it.
The best free editing software that I've been using for years is DaVinci resolve.
Here's a link to download it.
There are so many different tutorials and techniques that are available for this software they are too numerous to count. Here's a link (not me) to a great crash course on how to get started.
i use seo to compare videos and tags and make my videos more attractive i use a tool called vid iq
its free version is shows you the tags of the top videos and what tags are more effective
and when you upload it has a little program that checks that your video is optimized for the search engine as in keywords in the title in the description and tags if anything its worth a shot it helped me get 600 impressions on my first video ever in a week so its legit as far as my concern
ill save you the trouble of looking for it if you want to check it out here's a link:
I'll start.
Submit videos to be featured on blogs and mailing lists in my niche to get exposure. This is how I got my first 100 subs.
Use Google Trends to gauge the popularity of a topic or the best time to publish before putting the time in to make a video.
Make more videos, and publish on a schedule. When I do 2 a week, my channel does better.
Installed the Tube Buddy extension. I use it to see how my keywords/tags are performing, and periodically remove ones that aren't helping much to test out new ones.
Tweak tags and thumbnails that are underperforming.
Use OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) and set to record instead of streaming. Then select "record screen" and screen cap what you want to record. If you felt like OBS was too "raw" for you and wanted a more "pleasing" experience, there is Xplit :D (5$ per month I think)
OBS: https://obsproject.com/ XPLIT: https://www.xsplit.com/
Yea so I know a microphone with costs about 40-60 dollars, it's the Maono AU-A04, it's a studio microphone with a pop filter and a mic foam thingy idk what that's called. Many people are happy with the purchase and the audio quality sounds amazing, here is the link.
Two cheap options I’ve used-
This works great on my 5S iPhone but has started crackling with my 6S+ (it improved when I cleaned the headphone jack but wasn’t fully resolved). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018KIJGU8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_QpxOBb4NPFK0A
This is a pretty solid lapel mic that plugs straight into a phone; I like it and haven’t had any problems with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019HQHXN4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_trxOBbVNM9ATZ
Audacity is a free audio editing program where you can “teach” it the sound of the white noise and then remove that sound from the whole file. It’s more steps but if you want a free option it should at least improve the quality.
I know a popular choice amongst many lets players is Open Broadcast Softare. It's free and is meant to be pretty pretty efficient and capturing webcam footage.
I've used it before but for screen capture, not webcam stuff, and it was pretty awesome.
Well, there are a ton of subreddits on reddit for all that kind of stuff I am sure, so I'd start there... but outside of that?
On youtube you could email content creators directly (check their about pages, some have email addresses you can contact them at)
Discord there are probably communities for this kind of stuff if you searched for it.
There are other parenting / family forums on the internet that you could look into and get involved there.
You could start a meetup.com group and get people in your community involved and then spread that way.

There are a MILLION avenues that you could use (Don't forget twitter and instagram!) that most people don't even think about.
And about the youtube disabled comments, that's happening more and more but not everyone has disabled their comments. It may take some digging but I'd guess you can find them.
GL.
Davinci Resolve is free, powerful, and an industry-standard(one of many great editors). I am learning it myself and have found it relatively easy to learn, so far. One of the coolest things that I've seen so far is that you can sync cameras (the software syncs all the audio from the cameras and the video is then pretty much synced, too). There are tons of tutorials out there, and subreddits, too.
I don't really know much about the different free editing softwares out there. I have been using some form of Vegas Pro for about 6 years now. The cheapest version is still $80. (It's called Vegas Movie Studio Platinum) I know that Resolve renders MP4 files, you may want to ask over on their subreddit. In the mean time you should be using Handbrake (https://handbrake.fr/) for file conversions. If you do end up going the Vegas route hit me up. You'll see me frequently on the Vegas subreddit as well.
But they didn't fight yet, seems you just want views
Also, your review game is kind of week and you just cooked something really quick, not genuine man c'mon 😂
Edit: Even one of your reviews is currently two sentences hahaa
In my experience the professional press kits are are literally a link to some random google drive with all the stuff in it. You won't start getting those until you start getting games from devs. There is website called IGDB (https://www.igdb.com/discover) that has auto generated press kits. Being auto generated they kind of vary in quality from game to game but I've had decent luck using them in the past when I needed something.
Yeah it's right. You added your account to adsense.com But if you want to be really really sure about it go to your settings on youtube.com -> channel -> Monetization (https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization)
then click on "Review or change AdSense association" link. You should see this phrase: "You currently have the following AdSense account associated:" with your ID number below.
If that you did everything alright! :)
in adsense.com you can just see something a little chart where is linked youtube.com, not such an information. but if you want to see it go there https://www.google.com/adsense/app?hl=en_US#asfeSiteManagement (adsense.com->settings->site management)
I use adsense.com to see the real money I gained ("Current balance" ->is on the home page) Youtube.com will send you money once a month, about 12th-15th day.
When you reach at least $100 you can withdraw it. (when you reach $10 you can put your bank account information)
I liked it. You have a Wes Anderson style dialogue.. I think I would work on branding. check here for cheap design stuff I’m new at YouTube too. It’s hard to get those first few vlogs done. .. but you did a great job. I agree with others about the driving, you should cut out anything uninteresting..or do time lapses of the drive.
I would go into detail but HenRMJ has done most of the work. Biggest thing I can say is you should look into better fonts.
Look at Helvetica & Myriad. Short of that I would use something like Ariel and stick with only one, maybe two fonts you use repeatedly and regularly.
Also, anytime you are working color, make sure to look at color science. Here's a link: https://color.adobe.com/create/color-wheel/
Fabulous advice, thank you so much! Its great to hear what appeals to people, so I'm super thankful for the suggestions!
I'm glad you like the thumbnails! We used Canva.com to make them - honestly one of the best websites ever, especially as I'm a teacher who needs a lot of worksheets made!
If you have a channel and want any advice, let me know!
First off, I like the music tracks you chose for your video. It felt to me very uplifting. I guess from a viewers perspective I would have liked you to maybe talk and explain certain things that you did. Maybe thats the gamer in me.... but otherwise I like watching people play so overall it was fun to watch. Idk if you need an intro, but you should have an outro with a previous and or new video there. Its in the editing area of Youtube. its called an end screen, you should use canva.com and make yourself a background for an outro and watch a youtube video on how to do that....i use it in all my videos since it gives the viewer the option to watch more content from you! Hope this helps
Are you looking for ideas or for the actual creation? If you need help with the creation try Canva.com its free has the sizing for most media already available as a template for you to start with.
I've had success with Camtasia (mostly for recording training videos) in the past.
Over the last year, I've been using NCH Video Pad editor and am really happy with it.
Practice, practice, practice! Make as much video content as possible until you will like the results. It takes 2-3 months to become a better version of yourself, I would say :) Follow some popular tips on how to be confident on camera (here and here are good ones). Take your time and don't criticise yourself too much :) Good luck! And share your videos with us when you are ready ;)
If you have a Nvidia graphics card, the software (which is included in the driver package) comes with an built in video capture system. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/
Uhh... Odd. Maybe you have shovelware getting in the way (i.e., crappy software that hijacks your google results and messes with them to show you crap they want to sell).
Here is a direct link to their product page:
The fades to black during the claps aren't terribly good for comfort. Makes for an uncomfortable "Did I just blink?" feeling.
The slowmo shot at 1:03 isn't great. Your cameras frame rate isn't set high enough for that shot to slow-mo and not turn into a slideshow. For slowmo you generally want a lot of frames to half. So for example if you have 60 FPS you can halve the frame rate and it still look good and slowmotion-y, you can also then halve it again to 15 and it'll look OK. but try that with 30 FPS footage and it's going to start looking like a slideshow real quick. Which you do not want for an action video.
An alternative to the software you're using is http://www.shotcut.org/ which is free and pretty kicking if you ask me.
There's also no mention of the song in your description.
I like the video, the length is in the sweet spot for entertainment.
I feel there's a few shots that you missed though, like at the dock POV and then the 'ride' starting would've made things a little less same-y though.
You know, I figured that the text-to-voice would be a bit irritating to listen too but I was legit surprised with how well it worked out. This would probably grow well in the long run.
Give this site a chance. It lets you download 20 minutes of audio a day: https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/
I love that you optimized your channel banner with fun pictures and drawings. I recommend that you add more tags to your videos. A useful tool would be TubeBuddy. You could use the free version or a paid version for $3 a month which I use and I find useful. Here is a link if you are interested: https://www.tubebuddy.com/KevinTuna. Thumbnails are great but I would add more text or emojis if you can. A tip that you can use is to watch your video over and if you get bored or want to do something else, try changing it because if you can't watch your own video, then others will not. Have a great day and stay safe!
Your production quality is very good. Everything fits together really well. I think a little narration would help if you're trying to make yourself your own brand. I also think your banner should better explain what your channel is about. It might also be a good idea if you specified on Instagram that you're a Youtuber who posts regularly. And it might help to inform your Instagram audience when a new video is out. You can post a screenshot or a small clip of your new video.
If you're not already using it, you can try out TubeBuddy to work on your metadata. It gives you keywords suggestions and rates their potential effectiveness.
Your music is very good and you have a great voice. You should try taking that route with the next few videos and see what happens. I think there are subreddits where you can share your music.
Best of luck!
TL; DR: It's awesome and I highly recommend it. I know this will sound like I work for them, but I assure you that I just love the plugin so much.
I have been using it for over a year and it's invaluable. I use it for every video I upload for annotation and card templates as well as optimizing tags. The bulk updates are great too for updating links or titles across all your videos. I periodically have to update all my store links, or change my social media links, and I can do it super fast across all of my videos because they have a "search and replace" feature.
It's cool because it's a small team that is dedicated to addressing all the concerns of their users. They are always asking for feedback and trying to create the best product they can. There have been a few features that I have personally requested that they have implimented which is amazing.
If you decide to sign up, use my handy affiliate link! Tube Buddy
All my subs and all my friends said I needed a new mic. I bought this $30 mic. and since then I’ve had people asking how I only have 80 subs or telling me I’m going to be big. Like people who’ve never seen the channel before.
You probably need an articulating arm mount, like THIS
Who knows what will be open given the pandemic, but this is a great idea if it's an option. Private room... about as covid safe as you can be anyway, and great for recording.
OP, make a foldable/packable foam shield for an easily portable mic, as well as a foldable greenscreen holder and try this out if you can. May just be the solution you need.
Also, depending on what your videos are like, maybe you can modify the scripts/storyboard to allow you to record outside on a portable audio recorder. I have a Zoom H1n which is a good quality, entry level one you might consider. This might be difficult depending on your content, just want to get some ideas out there.
yes because $120 isn't actually a whole lot for something you're going to get a massive amount of use out of. you're probably not going to use the mic exclusively for video creation.
and let's not forget about the cheaper variant that is recommended on amazon right beneath it
Since no one has given you actual product suggestions, check this one out(not a referel link):

The light comes with a rubber diffuser that does a nice job of softening the light.
My wife is a Partnered Twitch Streamer and when we travel this is the light she uses. In a studio setting she uses a large Godox with a softbox. Its truly surprising how well the small one I linked matches up against the Godox.
Just bought this a few weeks ago and I love it! The mic is pretty good quality and everything is super compact. The gimbal allows it to track your motion and the picture quality is great. I'd recommend an external batter pack because it drains pretty fast but overall a great value for $500
You could easily start out with a microphone like
Wireless Lavalier Lapel... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B92JRR8Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Or
UURig Directional Microphone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XDQX9MF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Really depends on your niche.
Where did you see that update? The only restriction I know of is that you can't use external links in cards. Unless there is something new?

I did actually purchase a mid-level microphone a couple of months ago when I first started considering this. Along with an added pop filter.
I did experiment with audacity, and that seemed pretty easy and kind of cool for removing background noise.
I think the video editing part is the most intimidating part for me since I've never done anything quite like it. I am learning, but it is the most daunting part. Right now I've downloaded Hitfilm Express. I considered Davinci Resolve, but I wasn't sure if my computer would be able to handle that or not.
As for the niche, I did do some re-evaluation last night and this morning. I definitely don't think I could do gaming indefinitely without some kind of variety content now and then. The vision I had for the channel was essentially being centered around retro gaming (around 2012 and back; already not an inherently popular thing in its own right), but also doing occasional videos with cooking. As well as talking about various other news and topics that interest me (e.g. history, movies, music, and so on).
you need a tripod with an over reach ability. It might be better to do it with two stands on either side of you however. You will also need a light ring.
I'm going to suggest something like this or this. as they give you the phone mount and light ring you need to prevent shadows. There are plenty of options out there however so provided you have a light ring and something to hold your phone/camera over your work without getting in the way or in the shot you should be all set. Also, a note about this sort of thing. Do test videos. Just something 2-3 minutes long but something where you go through the motions of what you are filming. This will help you see what you need to change / adjust giving you the best possible video.
direct attached storage, something like this via USB 3.0 -

Hmm, well I would try and play your games in windowed mode and not full screen when possible and that may resolve the issue. In addition you can see this guide for assistance for an overheating computer.
Happy to be of assistance, I like linking to relevant videos when possible just because it makes life easier for everyone.
Oh - I didn't have any problem with your breath at all. I agree that it helps a reading feel more intimate. I was simply saying that is one of the circumstances where it can be useful. In Audacity (at least my edition), it's found in Effects - you may need to scroll down through the various effects to find it.
Another helpful effect is the Notch Filter. Let's say that you have a T that is just too sharp, or an annoying whistle in an F. Switch to "Spectrogram" ... if you haven't found that feature yet, it's in the drop-down menu to the left of your waveform. If a T is especially sharp, you'll notice a little spot (maybe a short band) glowing in its spectrogram. Take note of what frequency that spot is centered on, select it, and switch back to Waveform. Then do a Notch filter at that frequency, using a high setting for Q (high number = narrow).
Archive.org is a good source, too, by the way.
I watched a couple of your videos and thought of an author who may fit into your channel - though she's little known today, so don't expect her stories to be terribly in demand. Clara D Pierson wrote nature stories for children, and her tales had a rather homey, fable-like quality to them. Here's the Project Gutenberg copy of her first collection: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/34943/34943-h/34943-h.htm
I am helping you, but don't know why you give me a downvote. Anyway, take a look at this one.
I have the same problem and can't stand my recorded voice. I tried this Text to Speech app and I'm more than impressed with so many styles and tones of voices given. The artificial sound even seems more natural than mine!
Here's the link to download the app in Playstore : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stcodesapp.text2speech
I have a Monoprice Microphone, not sure what the exact name is, but I got it for around $30 and I have had no complaints from anyone, everyone says the quality is really good. It works with my mobile devices and my PC, it's all around amazing for a $30 microphone
You can get a pack of sound panels for 20$.
https://www.amazon.com/TRUE-NORTH-Acoustic-Foam-Panels/dp/B07QVM9F5S/ref=asc_df_B07QVM9F5S/
It isn’t about a noisy environment but sound reflections from your walls. If you want to hear a difference in the quality try recording audio with a blanked over your head and microphone, it will sound better.
Sounds like some of your problem comes down to equalizing your audio in the video itself. Premiere has a feature to do this aumatically “auto match” where it either reduces or raises the volume to a standard db.
Try Youtubrewer I think they have an iOS app as well. It's free and no need to register. Just download and add your video link to grow. The trick is using it in a phone that you are not using so that it runs 24 hours. You will see the number growing faster.
Creativity and the will to make it work. I've used textbooks, boxes, water jugs. Pretty much anything around the house I can find to balance my phone.
This Tripod - Cheap and easy Tripod. - is my second tripod and is the one I am still using. It has worked pretty great so far but really, just creating your own makeshift rig is a great way to sort out what is necessary.
Well there is a couple things you can do. Not very much but a couple.
Discord crushes your quality to such a horrific degree that you won't see much of a difference between most mics in terms of quality. Using a mic that plugs directly into your PC over USB instead of using an interface like a Scarlett Solo is also going to lower your quality.
Rather than either of the mics you mentioned, I recommend the Blue Snowball iCE: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014PYGTUQ
Low cost, will do what you need, will give you better quality than Discord will even allow, and is a mic more people will have had experience with than your two listed choices, so it'll be easier to troubleshoot it and learn about it.
So your first general goal should be to get around 1000 subscribers, and have a well defined niche and target audience. Next is to make sure your channel is branded professionally and doesn’t have too much cursing or any adult like content, cause sponsors stray far away from that. Sponsors typically will reach out to you once you hit a certain popularity threshold, but if you really want to secure some sponsors, you can always create your own “resume” and send them to companies emails. NordVPN actually has their own YT Affiliate application on their website for this very thing. After that you just sponsor their product and rinse and repeat.
Some other good sites to attract sponsors are BrandConnect and Grapevine Village (need 10k subs to sign up for that one)
Uses improper Grammer despite copy-pasting the post in multiple subs, says it's very late for them at the time of making the post (who does a business post at supposedly 3a.m. according to their supposed location and time of posting) makes mistakes in comments only common for someone who isn't a native English speaker, makes a post instead of running an ad, etc,.
This is definitely a scam. The payout method (PayPal once a month is not a legitimate business method of paying employees, which you would technically be), the cash earning method (nobody does social media commissions like this), the fact THEIR WEBSITE WAS CREATED THE SAME DAY THEY POSTED THIS. CREATED + UPDATED 5-11-2022.
Adverts for their USB vacuum are also grammatically incorrect. Their YouTube channel is boasting 18k subs despite the only video relevant to their supposed cleaning device being 21hrs old. Every other video is "how to make money fast" or "Jeff Bezos first video" so really suspicious.
The product they sell that supposedly sold out five times is also literally $11 on Amazon from random junk sell companies DESPITE BEING THEIR INVENTION FROM A BRAND NEW COMPANY?

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR AGREE TO DO ANYTHING THEY ARE A SCAM.
GVM has really good and affordable lights. I know you said $150, but for $166 you can get a key light plus a rim light. Less than $150 for a key light. A lot of the larger creators use these and never have to upgrade.
GVM 2 Pack LED Video Lighting Kits with APP Control, Bi-Color Variable 2300K~6800K with Digital Display Brightness of 10~100% for Video Photography, CRI97+ TLCI97 Led Video Light Panel +Barndoor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KT4LS6Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WM4TN0J17D5ZBJQ1FSMT
Yeah, that’s probably it, then. Plus, I don’t know what brand it is, but some of the cheaper ones are basically made of molded insulation for all intents and purposes, so it could literally be shedding fibers. Who knows.
If you go the pop filter route, it’s a little less compact but I think you’ll get better results and be less likely to have this reaction. I bought these for my vocal setup recently and have been suitably satisfied in my $12 investment :) Microphone Pop Filter For Blue Yeti and Any Other Microphone Dual Layered Wind Pop Screen With Flexible 360° Gooseneck Clip Stabilizing Arm By Earamble https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVFRW4H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_BD07K57H104NAWX7CC9J
Yeah, creative commons licensed stuff should be good - just check the specific license and make sure to follow the requirements for attribution (there are different versions - I'm not sure if all wiki stuff uses the same one or not). https://creativecommons.org/licenses/
Personally I use Blender.
I use it as I'm interested in other animations and 3D models too but it does perform well as a video editor.
The big positives for me are that it is free to use so no licences, supports the video and image formats I use as well as it complements my workflow.
You remind me of me a few years ago! Lol. Anyways, my honest opinion is that you should use this program (https://obsproject.com/) to record. There are many videos out there on how to use it. It is 100% free and open source. It works GREAT! It has mac and windows. (screencast 0 matic doesn't make your channel look amazing, but i'll give you the benefit of the doubt)
Anyways, I subbed! I hope to see some diversity of games in the future!
ALSO, edit your videos up a bit, the best parts only. Unless you are with another person because that can keep a really funny conversation going. Even then, only about 5 - 7 minutes a video.
Invest in a Blue Snowball microphone. It's the best entry level mic out there.
I hope you have fun and take my suggestions into account :D
> Hi Kenshh. based on this amazing information you have given me i have written a blog post.
Please have a look and suggest if I need to modify anything into it. https://medium.com/@tarantula3/how-to-gain-more-viewers-on-your-youtube-videos-b8ab6fa8e0c4
If everything is ok i will publish it as a tip in this community.
Thanks again
I would suggest getting some sound absorbing foam or an isolation shield. These work well but if you want a more permanent aesthetic solution, I would recommend getting a large rug, adding a tapestry or large cloth art piece, and using curtains for your windows.
Samson Technologies Q2U USB/XLR Dynamic Microphone, it has two inputs one for usb and the other analog so it will grow with you.

I use a 15 dollar mic that plugs into my phone. Works great for simply talking, vlogging-ish style content.
I'm able to film while recording sound. But NORMALLY, I'll record audio with my phone. Use the footage from a few different action cameras synced up. Sounds difficult but literally takes 20sec to set up and I can normally sync the video in 30sec.
*what I use
Lavalier Microphone, MAONO AU-100 Hands Free Clip-on Lapel Mic with Omnidirectional Condenser for Podcasting, Recording, DSLR, Camera, Smartphone, PC, Laptop (236in) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M4J5WCM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_EQJ3CDBD6A7MRAFP154E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Long answer, with links in case these are useful to the OP.
I use a cheap Teleprompter which I mount to my Sony A7iii camera lens. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0875NXKCM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_FZ5PZ4SYNEPR96KXRSJH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1).
The teleprompter comes with a smartphone attachment, which I use for the script. To utilise this to best effect i downloaded this app called PromptSmart Pro Teleprompter for my script. It’s a voice activated teleprompter app that scrolls automatically as you talk. With the app and script loaded up, I attach my phone to the teleprompter above.
Once you’ve mounted the teleprompter on your camera lens, import your script to the app and clipped your phone to the teleprompter, you’re ready to go. It’s great because you can look at the camera (lens) whilst talking, which looks more natural and less like you’re reading from a script.
I’ve used the above setup for 6+ months and while it took me a few attempts to get the hang of it, I swear by it now. It’s considered budget as most teleprompters cost £100-200 but this one was £40-£50.
Also, it can be used with a smartphone if you record using your smartphones camera - just be mindful that you’ll need a second smartphone to read the script.
Alex Steele has some pretty cool shirts.
So does AvE
though both do have a relatively niche appeal, I suspect.
Hi there, I think you come off as quite knowledgeable in your niche- which is great! But the video is very low energy and I think your engagement will suffer as a result of this. I would try to add more visuals, animations, etc. You can get free stock video clips from pixabay.com. I would download some. of those and add them to your video. Your voice is very monotone and I think some changing visuals would be helpful. Cheers
I tried DaVinci Resolve but gave up very quick as the nodes confused the hell out of me and when I looked I thought the free version was neutred in such a way I couldn't use it for my workload. I thought the older one had limits on what formats and resolution you could import and export. I think they had to be ".mp4". That said, I could convert using other software such as Handbrake. Maybe I should revisit it now I have more time to study.
Currently I use Blender. Blender is nice as it does everything and funnily enough has nodes too but not on the video GUI (like DaVinci I guess) and works will all the video formats I need. It has some annoying quirks though and you make your own transitions.
Sure. SEO is "Search engine optimisation" so you want to be researching popular search terms for cricket and then building content around these ideas. You then use popular key terms and phrases in your title and description to help tell YouTube what your video is about. This will help your content to become "discoverable" on YouTube to help it appear in search results.
For example, if people are actively searching for "Best Cricket Catches of All Time", then your title would be close to being what is called "Optimised for search (SEO)" hence the phrase SEO. You can use services such as vidIQ to get this type of information. This type of service will also give you SEO title and description ideas to help you with SEO.
> Seeing a face always helps because they are connecting with a person and not a screen.
I already pointed out the holes and where I tried with most of what you said. But I wanted to point out that I think you're 100% right about this.
I'm doing a test to see what exactly causes people to view my stuff. And that did bring in some people. https://trello.com/b/lnULVpIu/month-to-month-videos
You can get this adapter to get a microphone into the iPhone.
The trick after will be to get the proper signal to the adapter. It supports a 4-pole connection. That's most likely going to take a special cable that takes a stereo output from your computer and sends it to the appropriate pole on a 4 pole connector. A simple stereo cable will not work because then the L/R outputs would be going to the matching outputs on the cable into the phone and that would not get your signal into the correct pole.
If you have a bit of soldering skill you can build the cable on your own.
Here's my take on the videos:
video, sharing, camera phone, video phone, free, upload
. You totally should mention specific things like minecraft, download maps, minecraft maps
.Apart from that, post snippets of your videos to places like Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Make sure to use relevant tags and always link back to your YouTube channel. Even if you don't like those platforms (I don't), they are tools and you can use them to your advantage.
Also make sure to post it to Reddit and other communities.
I hope this helps!

This microphone is SHOCKINGLY good for the price. We use 4 of them for our multi person videos and even though we're at a point where we can afford to upgrade I can't justify it because they're incredible. I'd recommend these mics over some £80 ones I've owned.
Natural Reader has some pretty good ones and they're not that expensive. Personally I hate the AI voices and tend to click immediately out of videos that use them so I'd pay attention to your retention rate, if there's a super big drop off in the first 10-20 seconds, it's probably from the AI voice.
If you're willing to spend money on an AI voice, why not just get a microphone? idk where you are but I got one on Amazon for under $40
Hey yall! I'm Roy from San antonio Texas if any of yall are out here I'm down to collab for sure even possibly Austin but ehh that's a stretch lol, ok the two channels I have now are below. The first is called captenters apprentice its a review channel where I review different stuff. Either content or product. At the moment I've been exploring more cannabis related products but I'll be branching out when I find something I got something to say about.
The second channel is called good ass gardening & that's exactly what it sounds like lol. It's just a bunch of gardening. Hope to hear from yall!
It says on the licence section of their website that you can use their videos on social media, adverts and blogs and apps without having to credit them, I even saw a video I recognised from that website on an ad for the lottery. They have a few rules though, like that you can't sell the videos.
Here's the link. https://www.pexels.com/license/ :)
get a greenscreen so you can put anything there , but if there was something id recommend you put when you have the greenscreen is this , possibly when it is night out side , youll find something for the day on pixabay : https://pixabay.com/ro/castelmezzano-italia-sat-ora%C5%9F-1979546/
A lot of people use Davinci Resolve, a free software. I am old school and use Windows Movie Maker (though it is no longer supported by Microsoft, you can still use it). For fonts and thumbnails, I have used Canva.com or Pixlr Photo Editor. Everything I mentioned is free but you can always upgrade to pro versions if you like. I get intro music/sound effects from YouTube itself, search under copyright free music or sound effects. I usually download those using an online downloader tool by typing in Youtube to MP3. And I always, always give credit in my video description.
I'm only at the beginning... But based on your content I think you can try to use Tiktok to get more views and subscribers. It's the new platform and it gives a lot of free views if you make an interesting video.
It helped me to get some youtube-views and new subscribes, so maybe it'll help you.
Here are some videos based on your niche: https://www.tiktok.com/tag/rockcrawling. Take a look.
Eh, ideally, you should be looking into an (easy) camera to use. You don't need anything complicated.
As long as you have even a laptop, you can make real magic with it using a free editing program like DaVinci Resolve (that's the one I use myself).

Regardless, like I always tell people, as long as your equipment isn't completely outdated, you can do a lot of work with what you have to use in the meantime. Lots of our favorite YTers started off with Rock Band mics. I personally am using an old Samson mic I got for Christmas many years ago that still works fine.
In the meantime, just keep practicing on the fundamentals. No matter what tech you have, the real "soul" of your videos will always be more important than anything else. Your base is there. You just need to upgrade your tech when you can for an even better presentation.
Best of luck. I subbed because I am curious of what you will do in the future. :P
So you're angry because I was correcting you, so you start cussing and plug your channel?
The block button is about to go into effect 😂
Take this L buddy no need to be mad
I am starting a modded minecraft SMP. We currently have 179 mods and are adding a few more, we want to get a few more members. The requirements are 720p quality at least decent mic quality and to be around 16 years old. If your interested take this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XFG52CD
I would suggest hyper x quad cast but the budget you have restricts it. They have renewed one I suppose if you can deal.
HyperX QuadCast USB Condenser Gaming Microphone for PC, PS4 and Mac (Renewed) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0881V9FBG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_M8J8GWSD0GGGVQW8MTRC
I thought of it as obvious scam , but when i looked up their service(here) . It was legit, i used it on a Safe environment and they look to be better then other competitors. But i will watch out if they ask for account access or anything like that.
As far as the Ad timing goes, i think i would rather ask them. May be it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask them how much are they willing to offer.
Without an onboard headphone jack, it will be difficult if not impossible.
What DAW do you use? You may be able to improve on latency by changing the audio drivers to http://www.asio4all.org/
But, you'll still have SOME latency regardless. It might be time to upgrade if this is an important feature to you.
https://sellfy.com/MethodDZN I can do this for you. Message me on steam if you have it, if not @ .. I probably wont answer PM on reddit :P I have very cheap rates and a quick turn around.
In simpler terms and this is an example average, but we typically earn .63 cents to a $1.32 per 1k views (CPM/RPM). Your AdSense account is updated each month on the 15th. You complete a W2 (tax information form) when you create your AdSense account and a 1099 is sent to you if you reach a certain amount per year. AdSense does a payout once your account reaches the $100.00 dollar threshold. How you're paid (direct deposit/mail in check) all depends on how the account was setup.
If you want to know how much you're making on your channel then you can do the following. Go to your AdSense Account.
Performance Reports > Common Reports > Products > Hosted AdSense for Content
AdSense is calculated each month on the 15th. Estimated is really just an estimate. The "average" amount earned is roughly .67 cents to $1.23 per 1k views.
If you want to see your "actual" totals then go to AdSense Login. Click on Performance Reports > Common Reports > Products > Hosted AdSense for Content. Then you'll see your actual figures.
You can get paid from being partnered, but only if your channel is linked to a Google AdSense account. I personally do not get paid for what I upload, but I very well may in the future.
Check some fonts on Fontsquirrel. They're all free to use for whatever you want. Try picking out something that's clean, considering with video it can be quite difficult to read text on a moving background. Can I recommend Galano Grotesque?
Who told you wikipedia is 100% copyright free? That is definitely not true. Wikipedia is a community driven information site. Normal people can put up images. Normal people do not care whether the images they put on there are copyright free or not.
I would look into something like pexels. Just googling royalty free images. You'll find tons of websites.
https://www.pexels.com/royalty-free-images/
Transformative means you change the original content in such a way that your video stands on it's own as it's own content. Like a movie review where the content is more about the review rather than the movie.
Why is the rum gone? - remix is a PERFECT example of something transformative. It needs to be you contributing something on top of the content you're using.
Please feel free to ask more clarifying questions.
I have the perfect thing for you.
It’s called OpenToonz.
Studio Ghibli uses a customized version of it, and many other studios.
There are many tutorials, But there is a learning curve.

Hey Emilia
Have you tried canva.com
I am pretty sure that arrow is from there. Click elements -> write "arrow" -> scroll down to the white curved arrow and you can change the colour and direction.
Check out the free version of canva.com. Very easy to add text/effects to some images and create a (hopefully) engaging thumbnail.
What you use for images is really going to depend on what your channel, and the particular video, is about.
Thumbnails are important to some people so you gotta still deliver even if you don't believe it in.
Use canva.com for your thumbnails. They've got a rough template you can use for free and you don't have to pay (unless you want to)
I looked at your channel and I think the idea is really good - almost like "dad joke" style, which is always a winner! However I think they're too short and edited too severely - the field one for instance, i feel like the run up to the joke and then the conclusion was so fleeting that i actually didn't understand until i watched it twice. I think if you had dragged it out a bit, made more of taking the pee out of those cheesy american style self help videos, it would have been more catchy and understandable. For instance, what if you had started with a longer intro in some snazzy suit like you're some rich mogul, and then thrown the blazer away to reveal a causal look in a field or something? Like, really take the p*** out of those channels.
Also, you mentioned in your self review that you're not sure about your cover, and you said to be honest so.... i don't like it at all. It has no personality and it looks like a bad advert for Red Nose Day. I think your profile pic is on point though. So maybe find a way to show the vibe of your channel in the cover? Maybe find other channels you are similar to and see what they do? Maybe you can get some inspiration. Also, I can't recommend the website Canva.com enough! Like, i'm not here claiming that i have this perfect design or something, but canva has improved my design game by like, a factor of a hundred!
Yeah the b-roll is fine in my opinion. You showcased all the places you and your friends went too and you interacted with youtube community. This is a traditional vlog so i felt you had all the components needed for a vlog. Audio was clear.
If you like use canva.com for thumbnails and other stuff. I use it for everything design related. I hope it helps!
Hey parachanuk98,
I watched your video. In regards to talking to the camera comfortably, that will just take some practice. I was also awkward slightly when I started, and now i barely notice. I have no doubts that you will be a natural in no time.
I also found it funny at times and you gave some actually facts / educational tips about carbs which I thought was dope. I'm excited to see what you come up with next.
Heres a suggestion. Use canva.com for making youtube thumbnails / banner art....i use it religiously and its amazing!
A few things:
Anyway, this was just your first video. Everyone looks back at their first and goes "oof" at some point. You probably will too, but in the meantime, the best way to improve and grow your channel is not to stop and keep posting!
First impressions:
-Your banner doesn't really work, it's quirky but looks unprofesisonal and is also a touch too minimalistic. (Recommend just going to canva.com and experimenting for half an hour or so)
-Ironically it looks like you put too much work into your thumbnails, if you look at a youtuber called 'amustycow', his thumbnails are incredibly simplistic, but they exhibit what his videos are about and thats all he needs to purvey to his viewers.
-You pretty much have a theme, pokemon, drawing, and a podcast, which is good, a niche is far better than posting random content. However, it looks to me that you're going for quantity instead of quality. I redirect you to ChrisMD who barely posts a video a month sometimes, although he puts a tonne of work with editing, camera work, lighting, etc, obviously this doesn't directly correlate to your gaming channel, but you should still learn from this frame of making a video.

Hope I've helped and I look forward to seeing how you progress.

Feedback No 1: Don't listen to anyone else who demotivates you
Feedback No 2: Use Canva.com (free) to make channel banners and thubmnails
Feedback No 3: Audio quality matters. So, try some low budget microphone like BOYA-BY-M1 (vlog/budget) friendly
Feedback No 4: Get a Tripod or gimbal which gives you a stabilization in a video.
Feedback No 5: If your phone has a good camera then you can wait to buy camera later.
I used Photoshop for a while but when my subscription expired I switched to Pixlr (https://pixlr.com/x/) which is a free browser-based program. It's obviously nowhere near as powerful, but honestly it has most of the features I actually used in PS (cutting out and layering images, adding text, etc.). It's also easier to figure out.
a good editor to help you make/put together art is https://pixlr.com/x/, I used it to make my channel art along with Copywrite free stuff I found online.
P.S. you might not want to use underscores and numbers in your name
