correnctly is opening https://flyp.me/ I'm not currently aware of any other competitor atm, maybe - even if using the http://nashx.com/HowItWorks system instead of the ln one - http://bitsquare.io/ is another.
Thankyou i am just an investor now, i like to buy some every 2 weeks very easy on flyp.me, i like the work you guys do for science so its more a donation thing. I have tried to mine with grc pool but it stopped giving me, so now i just have my orangepi 3 on for world community project running 24/7 only uses 7watts with no GRC pool.
You could exchange your BTC through an exchange like flyp.me . I'm not sure how long they store their transaction logs and if these could be somehow Subpoenaed. I know shapeshift stored all of their transactions and made them available. It would only have the input and output address but could still potentially track the assets.
Actually if all exchanges would offer this would you invest in all of them? that would be expensive.
But you can invest in this exchange now! as well as a few others out there, but flyp.me has been non stop coding and adding coins for a long time
It wont go to the moon if those huge wallet holders dont release some so i could buy, flyp.me just ran out of GRC
See the pyramid further down the article https://suiteki.medium.com/gridcoin-a-simple-investment-thesis-a4fb3f83daed
GRC is so cheap to buy you can use flyp.me and use 10 ADA to get 1800GRC which is like $10. But for science if your interested in helping but using less electricity a raspberry pi uses 6watts max, so in my country Australia its about $14 a year in electricity in one month i have solved OpenPandemics - COVID-19 54,983 96 0:072:21:51:06 Silver Badge (45 days) for OpenPandemics - COVID-19

"Can pivx also be used instead of zenzo?"
I don't know what you mean by this. I believe the short answer may be no, though. They are tackling two completely different issues and in different realms, yet both projects are allies and some members on the ZENZO team are also from PIVX, along with some of the other members of ZENZO team have contributed to PIVX to some degree in the past year.
I believe as time goes on, both projects may find channels and ways to have a stronger bridge between them both. Firstly, having PIVX <-> ZNZ trading pairs, like on Changelly or Flyp.me would be a great start. ZENZO is also doing some cool and custom game assets with PIVX items and theme. As for integrating PIVX in the ZENZO Ecosystem, once the new ZENZO Arcade is released, you will be able to purchase games and possibly more with PIVX as well. Vice versa, I don't really foresee PIVX's model really adopting any other coin/token into their ecosystem. Their vision is much different and really focusing on the privacy aspect. Let's keep an eye out, though... hard to say what will happen when projects work together.
I remember reading about Flyp.me last November because I like the idea of fee-split coins, but the volume was basically nonexistent. Has the exchange improved since then, any updates, increased volume, etc?
Thank you, coinswitсh seems to be a useful tool. Though I see little point in comparing prices when https://flyp.me rates are 1% better than your recommended exchange offer (shapeshift)
Please add flypme to your aggregator
Message signing is a way you can prove you control a particular address, and demonstrate youhave ownership of that address. Flyp.me requests message signing if the sender has any future problems with his funding address and he needs to prove he is the owner of that address. This won't be needed unless you have problems. Your private key stays yours.
If you mine into your own wallet on your desktop no one knows, but if you mine and then place in an exchange which has KYC you will need to pay tax in most western countries unless you use sites like https://flyp.me/en/#/ to swap for another coin into another desktop wallet then no one knows, provided you use a VPN during the swap
I used flyp.me once in like October when I first got into monero/crypto, I wanted to test trading monero for bitcoin and cashing out through selling the bitcoin on coinbase. pretty much immediately when the bitcoin hit my coinbase wallet my connected bank account was frozen.
I called the bank and they unfroze my account immediately no questions asked, and I sold the bitcoin on coinbase and successfully withdrew the fiat to my bank account. I decided not to mess with flyp.me again though, it was very fast but something about it seemed to set off alarms with that bank. That bank also sucked ass and I switched a few months later for other reasons, so I gotta point out that this is all anecdotal and if it works for everyone else, that's awesome.YMMV
The exchanges that list Gridcoin are
Doubtful. They claim low volume is "never" the reason they delist, and we had a pretty big volume spike of ~17BTC a couple of weeks ago that would be hard to beat.

And for the record, anyone giving up can feel free to send me their coins: SLPS8bBpYT1YmTcJcQpavGq8qc5QqmrwpE ;)

More seriously, delistings are negative press, but we will be fine. Remember that BTC was trading around $0.05USD in 2010 before any crypto exchanges existed, so value doesn't depend on exchange listings. We've been rebuilding everything from the ground up over the last 18-24 months, so this is bad for optics but I don't think the loss of ~0.05 BTC of daily trading volume (like ~$500 at current rates) is really going to change anything fundamental about Gridcoin. Basically nobody was trading it even when it was still on Poloniex.

The people who believe in it are holding it, there are still places to buy it (SouthXChange, flyp.me, rudex.org), and we are working on marketing mechanisms and outreach for use cases to help build demand now that the coin has somewhat stabilized technologically and we approach the removal of the team requirement. This is a long journey with potential to go far beyond a simple BOINC reward mechanism, and hopefully we'll all be hearing more about that later this year. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
I must confess that I am not that impressed.
It's about a company called Helperbit who plays middleman between me and the organisations who receive the donations. Their motto seems to be:
> Are you ready for the decentralized transparency revolution?
But I just see with the help of the transparent Bitcoin blockchain that my BTC do reach the address of the charity organisation. What they do with it is as transparent or intransparent as it ever was, if I am not gravely mistaken.
As they work with Bitcoin, for me to be able to donate in XMR, yet another middleman is needed. Most of "us" would probably take xmr.to here, but Helperbit recommends in the tweet linked by the OP some "accountless crypto exchanger" called flyp.me that I never heard of.
I had been thinking of something like that myself - wondering if a web app that simply bought and sold GRC for a tiny commission could survive if it used something convenient like PayPal. Charge backs seem to be what stops that from happening. But if the site only bought GRC, maybe it could work.
But there needs to be a better way to sell too. The issue is trust. The way I have been thinking of it is, if I want to buy GRC from someone, even just the age of my reddit account should justify some amount of trust. Maybe only a little - say $5 worth. So I should be able to find someone willing to accept the risk that if I buy just $5 of GRC from them using PayPal I won't charge it back. I don't know if charge backs have a time limit, but if there is then I should be able to make that same purchase that often. With patience that might enable someone to collect enough GRC to receive their solo payout before the six month deadline. And without having to upload their driver's license to hackme.com. Plus buying BTC feels unpleasant because of its associations with silk road, etc.
Edit 7/12/18: Another Redditor mentioned https://flyp.me where cryptocurrencies, including GRC, can be exchanged without having to register. I hate sending personal information to an exchange, so the lack of registration removes a big barrier for me. Of course it doesn't solve the main problem of getting GRC to and from dollars.
If you do not want to pay anything at all, then definitely join the pool until you have about 2000 GRC, at which point you can consider going solo. If you want to start solo straight way, then you should just buy some GRC. Most of the people here think it is a good investment! :)
Some places you could look into are marketgrid or coinswitch.co or flyp.me.
Welcome to Gridcoin!
Thats not what Im saying, Im saying with a mixer you have a pretty good level of privacy, because there is no need to associate your name to your wallet.
Also check flyp.me, account-less crypto exchange.
the dude i replied to just said launder the money, which i took as clean the money, which is what xqc would need to do if he wanted to avoid taxes on those winnings
and he could do that thru monero
then u said all exchanging for monero would do is nothing but gain another coin but its literally actively used in money laundering
im not saying to money launder all you need to do is use flyp.me im saying all xqc needs to do is use flyp.me but thanks for putting me on a watch list
Its says the bought with no fees and how did they get access to presale? Please dont get me wrong i dont hate the project i want it to succed i am not a troll, i only invested $100 for fun to see what happens. For passive income dividends GRC coin for me is better since project solves BOINC projects to hand out coins, i get returns from staking and i can use flyp.me to cash out with USDT.
5000 Gridcoin is a good starting point and is usually what's recommended now. On SouthXChange and Txbit.io, most trading happens on the BTC/GRC pair. Flyp.me only does Crypto -> Crypto and it doesn't use a market book type system
Technically SouthXChange and Txbit.io have a USD/GRC pair, but it is not used very much so trading on those would be difficult.
I thought Flyp.me dropped Gridcoin over a year and a half ago. I'd keep using them as they don't require an account to do any exchanges from other currencies, but atm, SouthXchange has been my go-to.
How much are you holding? If it's less than $50 worth I'd say just hold onto it, it may be worth a bit in the future and worse case you're out a few bucks.
Alternately convert it to Bitcoin via Flyp and withdraw it via someone like Cointree or Coinspot. If you get stuck shoot me a PM, happy to assist.
There absolutely are ways to exchange Gridcoin :)
main.southxchange.com/Market/Book/GRC/BTC
To name a few, though prices can vary quite a bit because of the popularity. Also people in the Discord are often looking to buy peer to peer too

Using monero is so crazy easy, why wouldn't you just get your BTC off Cashapp, withdraw it to a BTC wallet you reach over ToR only, then exchange for Monero at flyp.me or something then on to DNM. I lose like 3-4 bucks through that entire process.
Waves hybrid DEX is easy. The sign up was so quick but it was a couple years ago. The exchange has decent volume. Flyp.me does a decent job if you're going small. No account or registration with flyp but Waves might ask for more now it's a bigger one
Flyp.me is a no registration DEX does monero swaps, my little secret for awhile.
Switcheo is a great DEX that does atomic swaps between NEO, ETH, and EOS already.
DDEX is one of my favorites for ETH trades better than IDEX but americans like me have to use a VPN on a lot of tokens.
ABRA and brd have noncustodial DEX with fiat entryway. BRD is ETH and Abra is mostly LTC.
If I use a CEX I make sure it's binance or Kucoin because they give me % ownership in the trading fee profits.
Kucoin does a good job, it's the closest to Binance for me. They offer a ton of soft staking and pay daily dividends to KCS holders.
Most CEX are tightening KYC restrictions right now. DEX's like Switcheo, DDEX and others are taking more market share every day.
Flyp.me is a good DEX for changing cryptos with no account, from your own wallets. Not great for trading but you can turn BTC into XMR without an e trail.
A bunch of new ones I own coins in but them and the rest that I use I won't recommend because of lack of choices, volume or they're dying like Cobinhood and COSS.
flyp.me adds and removes any/all their coins depending on stock on hand and profit margin. If they think the current price of a coin is going to fall they might delist until they can make a profit on it. They operate more as a "shopping mall exchange" than a "stock trading exchange".

> Flyp.me has a great service. I guess the number of confirmations is so high due to the attacks that VTC has suffered
I have tried this service to exchange BTC to PPC and back: https://coinmonkey.io . It was good in that it worked eventually. It saves me having to have an account with an exchange, they use Bittrex mainly I think. However, each time I had to get in touch as the amounts were wrong. however they fixed it manually each time. In any case, thought it may be interesting info for others that don't like to bother with accounts on exchanges any more.
I also have used this: https://flyp.me which has always worked fine for me but the limits are often small or non-existant.
I guess it would be best to try small amounts first until others can report back on their experience and whether they can be trusted but it's good to have more options.
I used to use Flyp.me (or rather HolyTransaction which is the same company, but cheaper), however now I use Bittrex which is far cheaper than both (for crypto exchanges).
People should be aware that Flype sold their own tokens so now tokens holders get a share of the profits, which is often why you see people promote it even though it is more expensive than HolyTransaction.
On a side note. Everyone contact https://flyp.me through their support email: and tell them you want IOTA to be added. They are a service like shapeshift and that could provide easy access to IOTA for people that don't want to create an account on an exchange. It's actually a very good service I have used them on several occasions and they have a very responsive support team.
That was until /u/changelly_com decided to support S2X. /u/Killerko here's another service I know of but have never used them. If anyone uses them please report back on how good or bad their service is, please. https://flyp.me/

Hi! Flyp.me is launched by the current team at HolyTransaction. If you want to know more about HolyTransaction you can also read this thread on the zCash Forum: https://forum.z.cash/t/new-zcash-wallet-holytransaction-com/14489
Totally agree.
Already on flyp.me.
Stellar Decentralized Exchange and Paxful would be good additions.
Flyp.me's exchange rates are determined the moment the deposit is sent, unlike other exchanges. This guarantees users get the precise amount of cryptocurrencies and tokens they have requested at the exact time they send the order.
Waves is dPOS, so you can earn Waves and also can lend them out.
flyp.me does revenue sharing.
COSS, currently in ICO is an exchange with revenue sharing.
Iconomi (EQN) does buybacks which in effect work similar to dividends.
Then there are the [Masternode[(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1572363.160) coins, which require a bit more work.
