Well, they did it. They fired Clayne Crawford from Lethal Weapon and replaced him with Seann William Scott, who will plays Riggs' brother. I do not see this going well in the fall.
They also cancelled Lucifer, which bums me out. This last season wasn't as good, but nowhere near bad enough to be cancelled. There's a pretty big outrage about it, hopefully someone picks it up. The writers fully expected to be renewed, so they wrote tonight's episode with a huge cliffhanger.
Scorpion got cancelled too, but shouldn't surprise anyone.
If anyone is looking for whether or not their favorite show got cancelled, IMDB keeps a pretty up-to-date slideshow of shows' fates. https://www.imdb.com/tv/canceled-renewed/ls063853872/
They got it to Freeway Rick & his crew, then it trickled down to the neighborhoods from there.
Freeway: Crack in the System covers the scenario quite well, featuring the man himself telling how it all went down.
> streaming is on, of all things, the Internet Movie Database?
ay yo, don't sleep on IMBD-TV
they have some amazing offerings, such as all of Mad Men, LOST, Schitt's Creek, Fringe, Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal, and quite a few more. and all of it free (though with ads, I think)
Yeah, they seem to focus on classic stuff. Off the top of my head there's the Dukes of Hazzard, the original Dallas, 3rd Rock, and the first two seasons of Bewitched. The only modern show I can think of is Mad Men.
Here's a list of their stuff: IMDb TV: Watch TV Shows and Movies Online for Free - IMDb
If you're gonna do Magnum P.I., when you hit s7e9 ("Novel Connection"), you may want to prep for the second half of the crossover on Murder She Wrote (AFAIK, there's no way to get to the Simon and Simon crossover episode).
I'll also say the 2018 reboot of Magnum P.I. has actually been a lot of fun, including cast members from same (not to mention a guest spot with Lee Majors). And their crossover with Hawaii Five-O was super silly fun.
You might also want to consider adding Wiseguy (IMDbTV, Amazon w/ads) to the list.
imdb tv (formerly imdb freedive?) has heros. Imdb tv is available as a stand alone website or you can watch it on amazon prime US region with no prime sub required. A lot of amazon prime video apps might redirect you back to your prime account original country. I think google chrome browser logging in through the US priome video site should work.
The US region nbc website also has it. After the first 10 episodes you will probably need a US tv provider og in to unlock all the episodes.
Are you sure? I really think it is. It's a kids movie, and the object is a doll but at the end the girl gets a stuffed animal and then the stuffed animal winks, hinting that it's possessed. The sister gets hypnotized into walking off a rocky pier but the brother saves her at the last minute and then at the ending it cuts to the narrator who's a guy in a cloak. Head to IMDbTV and watch the last 5 minutes of the movie – I'm pretty positive this is your flick.
Just trying to help!
FYI: Amazon Prime members can watch Flower Drum Song for free in Amazon Video. On IMDB, you can see it for free with ads here: https://www.imdb.com/tv/watch/tt0054885?ref_=tt_wbr_fdv A sign on is required either with an IMDB account or your Google/FB/Apple logins.
It is free to watch on IMDB-TV.

I watched the entire 2 seasons of it on the app on my Roku. It is interesting although critics says that a lot of fiction has been added. too bad it was cancelled.
Idk, it's free on American YT. It's a documentary so it's probably on some other platforms... you could try IMDB https://www.imdb.com/tv/watch/tt6332276?ref_=tt_wbr_fdv
Basically, more modern typewriters didn't use ink, but a cartridge full of carbon ribbon; the typewriter would punch through the ribbon, leaving the mark of the letter on the page. This was presented as a new innovation in the 1976 episode, and I still used the same technology in my Brother typewrite 20 years later. It's actually explained in the episode itself:
There's a YouTube video of the scene; it's overdubbed in Russian, but you can still hear the English dialog.
If you want to go through the extra hoop of watching the full episode on IMDB (it's free, in the US anyway), the scene starts at 1:20:24; Columbo demonstrates the cartridge itself at around 1:26:48 (during the big finale). Or don't spoil the ending and watch the whole episode, it's my favorite!
IMDBtv is a legal site with ads that has a bunch of movies and tv shoes:
There's also Crackle, Tubi, IMDB.TV, Pluto TV, Peacock, Kanopy, and Hoopla, some of those require a library card.
Glad to help when I can. There are... alternative sources that you can find online when you can't afford a stack of Blu-rays or DVDs. Some of them are even legal, like tubitv.com.
https://tubitv.com/search/horror (search by specific titles there)
IMDB has a selection similar to tubi, they are both subsidized by commercial interruptions.
https://www.imdb.com/tv/ (also search by specific titles)
I don't want to tempt you to the dark side, but for less legit sites you can often Google a movie's title followed by watch online free or words to that effect. Individual movies and entire sites are often taken down, but the sites always pop back up again somewhere else with a slightly different name and URL.
Google doesn't seem to block them, you won't get in trouble for using them (just don't upload anything yourself), and I've never heard of anyone getting a virus or anything like that from the sites. Just follow safe web browsing practices.
Stick with tubi and imdb if you want to play it safe though. They may even be available via roku, I don't know.
Good luck!
The Roku version is a little wonky; it's on the Filmrise or Filmrise Family channel (maybe both).
You can also watch it free on IMDB.com ( https://www.imdb.com/tv/watch/tt1245918?ref_=tt_wo_fdv_1 ).
IMDB TV is completely free and has a lot of movies and TV series from that time period. If you have a Roku, you just have to know where to find IMDB TV because there's no standalone Roku channel for it. Instead, load the Amazon Prime Video app, scroll down to Prime Channels, and across to IMDB TV. It's kind of hidden within Amazon Prime Video, but once you find it, it's like discovering a separate TV service.
For those curious this episode has the two main characters getting whammied (the name they use for being affected by an artifact) with an artifact that causes people to switch bodies, during a time where Joanne Kelly's character is meeting Cody's in their High School Reunion. Full Episode with ads, free

You can find The Shining and watch it for free on IMDB here: https://www.imdb.com/tv/watch/tt0081505?ref_=tt_wbr_fdv
Buckaroo Banzai is on Amazon Prime and Hulu: https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/the-adventures-of-buckaroo-banzai
There's little way of knowing this because there's zero marketing for it but IMDB has their own free streaming service and it's streaming there right now. It's called IMDb TV.
