If you're a student, iStudies Pro is absolutely one of the best apps I have ever used for tracking classes and homework. It syncs between iOS, Mac and (recently) Windows, at a pretty fair price! Easily my most used app.
For assignment / homework / exam / grade management and class schedule I use iStudiez Pro. By far the best app a student can have. It also supports cross platform sync across MacOS, Windows , iOS and Android.
I really found iStudiez Pro (http://istudentpro.com/) to be awesome for keeping track of my course schedules and assignments. I think I started using it in second year and kept using it until I graduated.
I'll add iStudiez Pro to the list. It's like $3 but it keeps track of all your classes, all of your assignments, and gives you notifications about when assignments are due and when classes are. It also syncs that information across all your devices and calendars. It's by far my most used organizational tool.
iStudiez has helped me a lot with organization. I used to keep a planner (my school provides one) but having an app is nicer because I always have my phone with me. Once you get your syllabus, put in every assignment and test for the semester into the app.
From when I use to have an iPhone I really miss my app for managing school stuff.
I used http://istudentpro.com/ and there is nothing as good as it on Android. Everything has terrible looking and usable interfaces and doesn't have all the options.
I would glad pay a good amount for a good school app like that.
As a Uni student I've been keeping my eye on the iStudiez app for a while now - it's only on version 1.0.1 and still has a few bugs but reviews seem to be good!

Currently $9.99 / £5.99 on the Mac App Store.
I used the IStudiez Pro app/software religiously when I was at uni. (Religiously being the joke because I went to ACU). http://istudentpro.com/ Awesome for remembering class times and due dates of assignments. Can slso remind you 2 weeks or a week before an assignment is due. I also used Wunderlist app for to dos and just took notes in Notes on my IPad. The more digital the better as you can't leave it at home if its on your phone!
I find I need a few things to make a system work for me: a semester overview (I guess this would either translate to a term or a year for you), and a weekly view. Any planner that incorporates those should be good.
Digital wise I like to use iStudiezPro, and paper wise I use an A5 Filofax (a Franklin Covey binder is likely to be easier to come by for you). That said, any planner can work - providing you actually use it which you've already learnt the value of :)
i used istudiez http://istudentpro.com on my iPhone and Macbook, if you have apple stuff it works very well for grades, GPA stuff, and tracking assignments
Edit: turns our they have windows and android now
Not precisely what you're after perhaps: iStudiez Pro. It allows you to set a schedule for classes with holiday/vacation periods. In the current semester you could also have a "life" class which you fill with wake up time, study time, etc, and then you can subscribe to the calendar created by the app.
You could actually have holiday "semesters" too, which will allow the creation of various schedules within that for you.
It's a great app worth checking out as a student regardless - but maybe it'll do the trick for you!
ahaha a tattoo would be definitely helpful! i say go for it :P you won't run out of space on your body at some point!
what if you wrote it down... twice? haha i swear this isn't me trolling. my bed is next to the wall in my room, and i have a whiteboard hanging on that wall. i don't write everything down on it, but super important things i do write down, like midterms or big exams. that way i can't sya "shit i was too lazy to get my planner out of m backpack." it might help to try to get in the habit of once you write it down in your notebook, you can write it down on the whiteboard too as soon as you get home from class. then it will stare you in the face so you /can't/ ignore it.
i'm assuming you have a smartphone? setting notifications is super helpful as well, there are a lot of planner apps that will shoot you 2 or even 3 notifications before something is due. i used to use istudiez pro (there is a paid and free version, i used the paid which i think is not too expensive) a while back which i liked a lot. it kept my schedule in a really neat format, it set notifcations for me, and at the end of every class i would punch the homework in and pre-set the notifications to send me a msg 2 days before an assignment was due and also 1 day before, if i remember correctly. it also keeps track of your grades and you can scale/weight them properly as well (homework is worth 20%, participation 10%, etc.).
Your grades are ultimately determined by the work you submit. Therefore, start by consolidating all assignments from all classes into one cohesive platform. Course management software may be useful for some students, such as iStudiez Pro, which will give a constant overview of any upcoming work (I personally use GTD management like Nirvana). One of the worst hindrances to productivity, at least for me, is having to juggle numerous thoughts in the head, so having an outline of some form will help keep the mind clear and focused.
Most assignments are probably not going to be easy, and may require days of preparation prior to its submission. That's when one turns to their calendar and plan their schedule accordingly. Find blocks of time throughout a given day and devote it towards completing the assignment. How much and how often is dependent on the individual.
However, the most important part is having an actual desire to getting As. If one doesn't genuinely want As, then he or she isn't going to go that extra mile towards getting it. Understand the benefits of getting As as opposed to getting Bs or Cs. If getting As has a direct correlation to your overall success in the future, and it is something that he or she wants, then the drive and dedication will follow.
It's all about the 7 Ps, or "Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance." Have a game plan, don't lose track, and you'll succeed, essentially guaranteed.
I find that using an app called istudiz pro is great for managing class scheduals and assigments, provided you remember to add them into the app which is why I stick to the two minute rule. Anything that I need or want to remember or do later I write down somewhere usually in another app called Evernote. As far as managing ADHD listing to music goes a long way, I tend to get distracted a lot with my surroundings so using music especially some instrumental really helps with drowning out those distractions. Being new to ADHD I would do some research about it, this in turn may help you with building a management plan for your self. ADHD is not a bad thing to have, in fact you would be surprised the people who have ADHD who do great things.
